That reminds me, how were your Easter celebrations? I got balaklava! Ah, the joys of bread and honey. And nuts. I would definately choose balaklava over candy any day. I didn't realize how un-American that sounded until just now.

In the first book,Alex.Remeber when Zia helped Carter and Sadie escape from Serqet.Then she led them to the First Nome through a tunnel, under the airport in Cairo.And in that tunnel the ba of Nectanebo threw knives at Carter,and Zia said it's some kind of test.I think it's in chapter 13.I Face the Killer Turkey,but I am not sure.

Alex’s POV I totally hated this. I’m serious this seriously stunk. I have never hated something as much as I hated this moment. My friends just sat there, Iva, Joan, Thalz, Toni and Lotus as Andrew, Bianca, Xavier, Ryan and I got drug off to who knows where. “Dude! Let go of me, gigantic goon!” I seethed, but the guy was so huge he just held me like a rag doll while I kicked at his shins. “Alex, just stop,” Bianca insisted as we were drug off. “Yeah, stop or we will knock you out.” One of the other three guys said and pointed his staff at me. “Don’t you dare threaten me with that,” I snapped before the words went through my brain. Which seemed to happen a lot, I felt my hands heating up. “Alex!” Andrew snapped giving me a look that said ‘cool down or I’ll make you.’ How did he know I was heating up? The goon grabbed my arms again but pulled away quickly from the heat. “Let me go, for one second,” Andrew snapped and yanked away from one of the goons. He came over and held my arms looking me in the eyes, not affected by the heat. Somehow his blue eyes seemed to calm me instantly, my arms cooled down and my temper disappeared. “Are you okay now?” He asked looking at me closely. I nodded he kissed my forehead and walked back over to the goon. Suddenly I felt tired and my vision went fuzzy. “You little-“Andrew sneered at one of the guys. Too late did I realize I’d just been knocked unconscious with a spell. Little- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I woke up in a car, it could have been minutes or hours later but I didn’t know. Andrew sat on my right and Xavier was on my left. I sat up and rubbed my head it was pounding and felt like it was going to split open. “Sup, sleepy?” Andrew smiled slightly but it was forced just for me. He put an arm around me and I held him close. “What are they going to do to us?” I whispered to him. He shook his head, expression grim, that wasn’t good at all. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Two hours later we made it to a place that was Egyptian, and a portal. “Where are we going?” I asked as we all got out of the car. “The First Nome,” One of the guys replied shortly. “In you go!” One said cheerily after he summoned it. I didn’t know that it would work but I wasn’t one to judge. Apophis might not worry about the House of Life. Who knows?
I stepped through and so did the others right behind me. I had just enough time to roll out of the way when Andrew landed next to me. We were in the middle of an airport. We marched through the place. I noticed the humid air. We were in a Cairo airport. I remembered we really were going to the First Nome. We walked down abandoned stairs and entered a large cavern after about thirty minutes. There was a large void in front of us all, and a narrow rope bridge in front of us. “Okay, the boy first,” One man pushed Andrew onto the bridge and it rocked. “Be careful, Andrew,” I snapped worried. He looked at me and nodded anxiously. Andrew’s POV I started walking across the bridge. I remembered what had happened to Carter. He had been walking across when knives had exploded out of the walls. I was being very cautious moving slowly. Suddenly I had images in my head; I stumbled forward and got my foot stuck in between two planks. A dagger exploded from the wall with a metallic cling. I ducked and twisted my foot. A hallucination was in my head. Alex stood in front of me glaring, she yelled something about Shadows and ran over to someone I knew well, Jason. I wanted to explode with anger, but I had to keep my mind straight. I turned to look at Alex and she stood there looking at me with concern. That wasn’t real, she hadn’t found out yet. I never wanted her to find out. It would ruin her and me. She’d go to Jason, because he was perfect and wasn’t as bad as me. I cleared my fuzzy head and stood up, extracting my foot and ran across the rest of the way across. Xavier’s POV I was pushed up next. Why did they have to take us? I didn’t do anything wrong. I mean, who knew what was happening to Joan-I mean the others!! But I couldn’t help them now. I took another step forward and mist started covering the chasm below. My heart started to speed up, I hated heights. Then a large hand came up from the mist and almost touched me. I jumped back and clutched the other end of the rope and the bridge jerked violently. I heard chuckles from the House of Life guys. I glared at them. I took another step forward and forgot about the chasm below. Something cold brushed my leg and I ignored it as much as possible. Then a jet of flames almost hit me right in the face. I ducked just in time; I felt the heat singe my hair just above me. Once it subsided I stood up and rushed the rest of the way across without incident. Bianca’s POV I was after Xavier. “C-come on,” I had to force myself to stop stuttering, “Why do we have to do this?” I complained clutching at the ropes, so tightly that my knuckles were white. “It’s the only way, girl. Get across or die. Done deal,” One guy shrugged as if he didn’t care if I lived or died. I shook my head and took a deep breath. I took a step forward and barely moved out of the way as a shot of flames came out of the wall. I fell onto my stomach a plank digging into my ribcage. “BIANCA!” Alex gasped. I turned my head towards her and gave an irritated look. She shut up and looked at me, brow together in concern. I stood back up. I stepped on one of the planks and my foot fell right through. I caught myself before my whole leg fell through. I stood up jumped over the broken one, heart still pounding. I realized I had almost died right there. I rushed further across the bridge and got to almost the other side when a dagger came flying out of the wall. I was so surprised I didn’t move and it hit me right in the hip. It nicked me and I rushed over to the other side. I clutched my hip and Andrew looked at it carefully. “Xavier can you fix this?” He asked. Xavier nodded, concentrating Alex’s POV I was last. I was worried about Bianca and wanted to get across as quickly as possible. I stepped onto the planks before one of the goons could push me onto it. I flashed him a look and walked across confidently, even though I was scared about the way down, heights freaked me out!!! A dagger exploded out of the wall and hit the rope next to me almost severing the top grip. I walked forward even more. The next few seconds went by slowly. I sensed rather than saw the flames before they came. I felt like flinching away but held my hands out and deflected the flames. A shield of air went up in front of me and the flames tried to go around but didn’t. Once they disappeared and I realized that the rope was also burnt to a crisp. I am totally freaking out by then and I examined the rope carefully. It was totally charred I touched it and the part of it evaporated while the rest went limp. Now only one side of the bridge had a piece of rope, the other had two left, it was a bit lopsided too. I had to hold on to make sure that I didn’t fall into the chasm. Once I made it onto solid ground Andrew almost tackled me back onto it. He hugged me tightly to him and I felt like melting into his warmth. “You scared me, Alex,” he muttered and kissed my head. I hugged him tightly. “I scared myself. Is Bianca all right?” I asked anxiously and turned towards her. Andrew kept one hand at the small of my back. Bianca was fine, just a sort of deep cut on her hip. Nothing major, it would heal quicker since she was a healer but she couldn’t actually heal herself quickly. “Okay, last but not least, this kid!” They said. I think that is Ryan, he can do his later I think. Not quite sure. This took me two hours to write!!!!

Ha ha, from Xav's POV: "who knew what was happening to Joan-I mean the others!" Funny, Alex. :) I'm just a tid bit confused. Okay, so Alex, Ryan, Andrew, Xavier, and Bianca are in the 1st nome. (Egypt) The rest of us, (Me, Thalz, Iva, Juliana, Lotus, Toni, Amber, I think she's with us,) are still somewhere. Just checking. Not sure.

Actually you just said 'are free'. Usually o is used for masculine objects or people, except when you are talking about yourself. Then the reflexive ending o is used.

Yeah, I think so. I think the House of Life could, like, send some other magician's for you guys, so you can start your training at the First Nome. So you could post more people coming for you and stuff. Iva'll be back tomorrow so you can wait until she posts to clarify or something or you can just post Soph. I didn't go to Rome,Lindsay.Only Venice,Verona,Pisa and Florence.It was great,except for two things.First-it didn't stop raining,which wasn't really a big problem,except when I was climbing the stairs of the tower in Pisa(55.86m(about 183ft) marble building with 296 steps and rain are not very nice combination).And second-Toni didn't stop complaining that his feet hurt,or he is hungry or that he hates museums.It took two hours to me and mum to convince him to come to the Doge's palace(Venice).I didn't even dare asking about the Medici's capella in Florence or Caravagio's hall in the Ufizzi(we had already spent an hour and a half in the Uffizi,but the guide didn't show it to us,and I wanted to see the Medusa).I guess next time I'll go without Toni.
That's just an idea,and you can write it in some other way(as I have said-author's choice),but here it is:

I know all that,Alex.I already have an idea about the Spy RP,and I'm still thinking about the Pirate one.I just don't have much time to write this week,and,besides,I'll be studying on Saturday(it's because there is a holiday two weeks from now and the people from the Minsistry of Education(special applause) decided that students should study this Saturday,so that they don't miss anything.I guess they are right(our current Minister of Education is the best one from more than 20 years(and he's an egyptologist)and our educational system is getting better since,well,he became minister),but still,I don't like to go to school on Saturday).I'll try to post both POVs by the end of the week,though.But I'll probably do it on Sunday.Sorry.
