It all started as a pretty normal day-I got up early for school.The first school hours passed very fastly,especialy History-I always wanted to become an egyptologist.I used to like all the stuff related to Egypt and it's pharaohs and gods,but that was before I understood that they are THAT real.
So it became time for Physical education and Sport.It started as a normal hour-we played basketball.But suddenly our teacher(a woman on her early 60s)started to scream and turned into a big pigeon,no,vulture.She smelled really bad,but I recognized her-she was Nekhbet.All of my classmates started to scream and run around-they looked very scared.Only I stayed on my place and wondered"Is that some kind of joke?"

Unfortunetly I didn't have a lot of time to think-Nekhbet,my favourite giant pigeon/vulture,desided that I am the easiest victim.I saw myself obligated to run for my life.Of course before that moment I had had never seen live egyptian god so I didn't had a weapon,I didn't knew how to use magic and I had no clue how to defeat Nekhbet."Well"I told myself"then I'll impovise".So while I was running I gathered around some of my mates and told them my "plan".Then we ran few more minutes-to make Nekhbet think that she gots us under control-and then our plan ran into action.
(I'm sorry if there are mistakes in the tenses or in the spelling of the words,but I am not from an English-speaking country)

Here's my plan-my mates were going to tie Nekhbet with the volleyball net,that my teacher always used to leave in the hall,while I was distracting her(I said it's a plan,not that it's brilliant.I want to see you think up a better one while a giant bird is chasing you because it thinks that you are a tasty lunch).Stupid or not,my plan worked and the goddess was tied up,but suddenly the time stoped.Nekhbet looked me in the eyes and said:"You are stupid like her.The blood in your veins is definetly her blood.But remember-I'll have my revange!".I was going to ask who is the woman she is talking about but Nekhbet disappeared and left on her place my sixty years old angry teacher.Unfortunetly that was just the beginning of the day.

My day started out pretty normaly. I woke up the my small foom in the small apartment my dad and I shared in Washington D.C. No mom, she left when I was six. I went to the kitchen and made my breakfast. As usual dad was already gone. When I walked out of the apartment everything seemed normal, normal croud, normal sounds. When I got on the subwat though something wasn't normal, I had this crepy feeling that I was being watched. I looked around and saw a boy who was staring right at me, he looked about my age, he had dark skin and black hair. When he saw me looking he quickly looked away. Wierd. I got off the subway and was ambushed by two girls who wore way to much pink.
"Hiiiii!" Said my two friend Sara and Mary.
"Hi, could you get off me. People are staring."
After they finaly let go we walked to our school. When I opened my locker I found a wierd looking amulet, the kind you would find in ancient egyption tombs. Attached to it was a note that said: Come two the Washington monument. NOW
It may sound stupid but I put my books away and walked out of the school.

Everything after that went like in a dream.All of my mates said to the school psychologist that thay saw a usual vulture.She just decided that because we have lots of homework,and we don't get enough sleep,our brains are playing us such tricks.I ,on the other hand,decided not to tell them that I saw Nekhbet-It was luck that they belived in the story with the vulture,but if said to them that I saw live edyptian goddess,they were surely going to decide that I am nuts.So the people from our school called to our parents and said them the story and that we have to rest a few days.So I went home but when I arrived my mother said:"Iva we've got to talk.It's related to my part of the family"

Here's a short story of what my mom said-her side of the family is related to Hatsepsut;every child from our family recives Hatsepsut's power but the firstborn (no matter if the firstborn is a child of a second,third,forth and so on born) is the most powerful(I am firstborn).My mother is secondborn and that's why monsters don't chase her.That meant that my brother is safe(of course I was wrong but you better hear that story from him.He said that MAYBE he will join us in a week).When my mother finished her story she said that I should have some rest so I went to bed and soon fell asleep.And then came my nightmare.

Kate's POV: I was weird. There was no doubt about it. I just didn't fit in. My day started pretty normally. I got to school late and didn't have time to go to my locker, so I had to carry my back-pack with me to my first period class. After class was over, I got called to the office. I went downstairs, my mind racing. I hadn't done anything bad lately. What could they want? When I opened the door, our principal, Mrs. C, called me over to her. "Is your locker stuck Kate?" she asked, noticing my backpack. "No," I replied. "I just got here late." "Oh. Well, please check your locker when you get a chance." "Okay," I said, and I left the office. The next time I got to check my locker was right before lunch. When I opened it, something fell out. I picked it up and looked at it. It was an amulet.

It wasn't exactly a dream.It was a travel of my ba.Everything around me was dark exept one thing-Nekhbet.I had really bad luck-my ba was able to smell things and the goddess still needed to have a shower.But that wasn't the thing that was bothering me."Why aren't you attacking me?" I asked."Because of your necklace." she answered me.I looked down my neck-I really had a necklace there.It was made of gold and there were two stones-lapis lazuli and jade."I wore the same necklace today but you were able to attack me.".Nekhbet laughed-surely the most alwful sound ever-"Because lapis lazuli can only protect your ba.Why do you think it was so expensive in Ancient Egypt'."Why am I here then?"."Because I want to hurt your mind,not your body.By the way,let me tell that one of my old friends is paying a visit to your brother.".That made me see red but before I was able to hit her ugly face my ba continued it's journey.

Before I continue my story I should explain some of the things my brother said.He wrote that he is a descendant of RamesesІІІ and I wrote that I am a descendant of Hatsepsut.The both are true.Our father is a descendant of RamesesІІІ.I just say that I am only a descendant of Hatsepsut because of the thing with the firstborn-Hatsepsut's blood in my veins is stronger than Rameses' blood and that's why gods and monsters recognise me only as a descendant of Hatsepsut.With my brother is the opposite.We just desided that it's easier to say that we are descendants of different pharaohs instead of explaining this.

After the argument with Nekhbet my ba went not only on a different place-it was in a different time.How I knew?The Egyptian building I saw was new.Something more-I recognized it.It was The Temple of Queen Hatsepsut.Even the queen was there and she was talking with a priest.The fact that Hatsepsut was alive meant that the year should be between 1479 BC and 1458 BC-the years she ruled.Then something grabed my attention-an unhappy boy,about nineteen year old.I supposed that he is ThutmoseIII(Hatsepsut's step son).Nekhbet was wispering something in his ear.Then she looked at me and sneered.But before I was able to do something my ba moved again(I hate this-everytime I am about to do something to Nekhbet(that was going to hurt her more than me)my ba decides to continue it's travel).So I was in a beautiful palace.Hatsepsut was there and she was playing with a little girl who looked exactly like her(and a lot like me)-Hatsepsut's daughter,Neferure.Then ThutmoseIII came and gave Hatsepsut a very strange looking drink.I knew it was a poison but Hatsepsut didn't and she drank it.(I'll miss the part with the death-I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see it).So I opened my eyes when Neferure screamed and ran away.Something was telling me that she will never come back.Then Nekhbet appeared again(Oh,my Egyptian Gods,I hate this pigeon)and said:"I hope you saw what I made ThutmoseIII to make to your beloved descendant.I've done similiar things to almost everyone from your family,during the centuries.The same will happen to you".Then my ba returned in the reality(once again before I was able to hit Nekhbet between her ugly eyes).So I woke up in my bed with one clear thought-"I'm going to send that stupid chicken so deep in Duat,that it will never be able to come back.

After the argument with Nekhbet my ba went not only on a different place-it was in a different time.How I knew?The Egyptian building I saw was new.Something more-I recognized it.It was The Temple of Queen Hatsepsut.Even the queen was there and she was talking with a priest.The fact that Hatsepsut was alive meant that the year should be between 1479 BC and 1458 BC-the years she ruled.Then something grabed my attention-an unhappy boy,about nineteen year old.I supposed that he is ThutmoseIII(Hatsepsut's step son).Nekhbet was wispering something in his ear.Then she looked at me and sneered.But before I was able to do something my ba moved again(I hate this-everytime I am about to do something to Nekhbet(that was going to hurt her more than me)my ba decides to continue it's travel).So I was in a beautiful palace.Hatsepsut was there and she was playing with a little girl who looked exactly like her(and a lot like me)-Hatsepsut's daughter,Neferure.Then ThutmoseIII came and gave Hatsepsut a very strange looking drink.I knew it was a poison but Hatsepsut didn't and she drank it.(I'll miss the part with the death-I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see it).So I opened my eyes when Neferure screamed and ran away.Something was telling me that she will never come back.Then Nekhbet appeared again(Oh,my Egyptian Gods,I hate this pigeon)and said:"I hope you saw what I made ThutmoseIII to make to your beloved descendant.I've done similiar things to almost everyone from your family,during the centuries.The same will happen to you".Then my ba returned in the reality(once again before I was able to hit Nekhbet between her ugly eyes).So I woke up in my bed with one clear thought-"I'm going to send that stupid chicken so deep in Duat,that it will never be able to come back.

/Yes,Iva I'm posting.Now back off it's my turn on the computer/I hope everybody understood that I'm Iva's bro.My sister already said that one of the old friends of Nekhbet was "paying me a visit".Here is the full story of what happened:
I was at Maths classes at school.I hate my teacher-she always writes me lower grades than I deserve.So I was at the whiteboard writing a solution to a Maths problem.My teacher didn't look happy from the things I wrote and tryed to grab the chalk from me,but she accidently touched my hand.Her skin felt like scales so I turned around.And then IN FRONT OF ME EYES she became a giant cobra(She is always a cobra ,but this time I was talking literaly).That sight made some of my mates do things with thair pants,but I'll leave you to use your imagination to guess.Fortunately I was braver,but I still had a giant cobra in front of me and I think she was looking hungry.

When I returned from my ba travelling I started to think what will I do from now on.I wasn't worried for my brother,altought Nekhbet's words.For the time my ba was time-travelling he has got back from school and now I was able to hear him shouting for something.After a few minutes he came to my room with me mother.They both looked worried and I understood why-my brother looked like he has been attacked by a friend of Nekhbet and it really was so-a giant snake.I supposed it was Wadjet-the Protector of Lower Egypt.Then my mom said that for our safety she should send us in New York to a man called Amos Kane.She was going to open a portal in the only place in my country where it is possible-a memorial of the Russian-Turkish war(It really looks like an obelisk-it has the same shape,but it isn't.I wanted to say that to mom,but she said that only the shape is important).So when the portal opened my brother jumped in it but I was distracted for a moment-a boy who looked exactly like ThutmoseIII crossed the street next to the memorial.Maybe I didn't see well but I think he sneered.I didn't have a lot of time to think on that because the portal was closing really fast-good thing I'm slim so I was able to go in it,but when I got on the other site I reallized two things:First,my brother wasn't there and second-this was Moscow,not New York.
By the way I am from Bulgaria,not Russia.
