Hi, this is my story of four Cahills, including me. We are searching for Vespers and for information about them. Our boss has given us instructions on what we’re looking for. Our boss doesn’t work with the main course of Cahills. He has more of an underground lair.
He’s not a bad guy, but he might seem so. Let’s get started. There are four of us and we want it to stay that way. Okay, maybe just me. First we’ll start with the oldest.
Chad Harris – a 16 year old Tomas who loves to be dangerous. He rides his motorcycle in dark alleys and loves to flirt with girls. His dream is for Amy Cahill to notice him.
Next is me!
Katelin Jones (fake last name) – a 14 year old Janus who loves everything about being a Janus. Loves to sing, write, and plays percussion (drums), piano, and guitar. Her dream is to grow up and have a family.
Then we have our youngsters.
James Conner – a 13 year old Ekaterina who tries to fix things and to put everything together. Loves to invent and to annoy his older twin sisters. His dream is to invent something that will allow us to live in space.
Elise Harris – a 11 and a half year old Lucian. Younger sister of Chad Harris. Loves to find out secrets of others and has many secrets of her own. Her dream is to meet Natalie Kabra, get some fashion tips and to know all the secrets in the world.
These are the four Cahills and they are ready for their first mission.

Camila I read books that have more than 500 pages in one day so nothing to be ashamed of everyone loves reading. Obviously or no one would have read the 39 Clues and that would be sad! Well as I said I read 500 pages a day and everyone finds me weird because they all play sports or go to the park while I stay at home and read! I loving reading. I once skiped all meals because I was reading a book!

"Truth"Elise finally answered. Emily thought of a question and rubbed her hands together for like 12 minutes.
"Are you kidding me?Iat takes you that long to think of a truth question?!"Chad teased.
"Chad you have somethin-"I leaned far to the right and punched Chad in the shoulder hard. "OWWW!"Chad screamed.
"Thank you for that.I didn't wanna have to do it myself.Okay Elise!Do you like Dan or not?"Emily asked,grinning.Suddenly Dan got SUPER red and everyone whispered 'Ohhh' ot each other. "HELLO!I CAN STILL HEAR YOU!"Emily yelled.
"Um Dan's kinda just my friend.I don't really think of him as my boyfriend"Elise answered. "Way to go,sis."Chad murmured.
Everyone else just stared at Elise dully. "What?Its the truth!Thats why its called truth!!!"Elise said breaking the silence.
"Can we stop playing?Someone could get their feelings hurt"I said.Dan popped up in my mind when I said that. "C'mon Camy.We just started having fun!"Jonah whined one-arm-hugging Emz. "She does that everytime"Chad whispered to Jonah. Just as I was about to punch Chad in the eye,Emily slapped Chad (:D). "Let's just focus on the mirror stuff and how we could put it back together"Katelin suggested getting up.
"Oh yeah...I FORGOT ABOUT THAT!"I dramatically said.Katelin went to the girls dorm to go get her mirror pieces "You guys brought the pieces back here with you...right?"Amy asked.To me,it seemed like the dumbest question.WHO WOULDN'T BRING THE PIECES BACK WHEN WE NEED TO ASSEMBLE THEM?!"Amy what do you think?!We would just travel across the country and "Oh"I forgot my magic mirror piece back in the hotel room"Dan answered sarcastically. Amy scowled at him. "Oh Daniel..."Natalie sighed. "Let's just focus on the mirror"Emily said.
Katelin came back with her luggage which i'm assuming held the mirror. "Guys...can...you please....help me!!"Katelin gasped hauling the heavy luggage down the stairs.Jamie,Jonah and Chad all rushed to help her. The 3 boys all gently placed the luggage on the floor and Katelin zipped it open.There it was....the gleaming silver mirror. "Whoa.How did you guys get that?"James asked,amazed. "Its um...a long story"I replied smiling. "Now we just need to put it back together"Katelin said.

Katelin, no. I'm not looking forward to September!!!!! I have no idea why, but I thinking that that's when the shots are. But it's my birthmonth.... So yeah :P. Kinda looking forward to it!!!!!! Especially next September. I'M GOING TO ONE DIRECTION'S CONCERT!!!!! But next year :(. I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG!!!!!! And yeah, you did forget to mention I was in Rock It. I CRACKED UP LAUGHING when I saw it!!!!!! I made Natalie mad!!!!! Something to savour :D. I commented on it, and I LOVED IT!!!!! CONTINUE!!!!! :). What happened between you and 'him'? How come he's not talking? You would die...haha!!!! Oh, just a group of people. I always get dissy!!!! My bff and I were spinning and spinning and spinning and after 5 minutes, we were so dissy, we started hallucinating :P. I love that idea of trying to find a Vesper at a Prom!!!!! :D.
Kat and Cam: Sounds awesome!!!! But before we go to the prom, we can monitor theira actions to see what they're planning, etc.. How does that sound? My head was pounding and I still felt the little pain of what the boys in my life have done to me. Jonah, is the last one. If he dumps me, never again. No...unless it's Taylor Launtner. Taylor Launtner will always be an exception. "WHAT??!!?" everyone shricked, and I winced again. Only this time it was the noise in the room. It's so...echoy in here. "It's the only place we can assemble the mirror!!!! We need to go to this haunted tem-"
"Wait wait, did you say haunted?" Dan asked.
"Yeah. Can't take the heat?" I playfully teased.
"I'M BOOKING THE NEXT FLIGHT OUTTA HERE!!!!!!! HAUNTED PLACE, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!" Dan shouted, and started to get up but was pulled down by Amy.
"Wwwhhy hhaaunted temmples?" Amy began to stammer. Oh no...
"Look Amzz, just breathe," Smriti tried to calm her down. I looked at Katelin, and she was a bit shaken up too.
"It's ok Katelin. I believe in you," Jamie said, which was very romantic in my opinion.
"Awww, did you hear that Kat? He believes in you," I said, smiling.
"You don't have to come if you want," Camila said, and Katelin nodded.
"I'm coming. Who else will pull Emzz out of trouble, instead of going deeper in it?" Katelin asked.
"Ngawww, thanks Katelin!!!! Camila and I will fully support you!!!" I said, and hugged Cami and Kat. Then, we sat back down with our boyfriends.
"So, mind telling me how it's haunted?" Jonah asked when I leaned against him. He put his left arm around me, and gently squeesed me. Suddenly, something flashed before me. Like...a memory.
"Hahaa. Do it again!!!" Some young girl said to her mum. The young girl look around 2, and her mum's face was full of joy.
"I can't. I have to go overseas tomorrow. You know that," her mum replied, and the young girl looked disappointed.
"Honey, I'm home," someone called through the door.
"Dad!!!!!!" some little boy called out. The father lifted him up and carried him with his right arm.
"DADDY!!!!!" the girl called out, hugging her father around the legs. It nearly lost his balance.
"Welcome home," the mother said, and the father one arm hugged her around the waist.
"Can we go out to eat? Maybe Domino's pizza?" the young girl suggessted.
"Maybe later sweetie. I just need to put my things away and we'll be off to have some Domino's," the father said. The little girl followed him to her parent's room and saw her father take out something that looked familier. The Mirror pieces. I then realised, half in the fantasy and half in reality, that that was my family. Me taking a sneak peek in my parent's room, and me seeing what I wasn't supposed to see. The mirror. Why did my dad have it? He had all the pieces, but how come they still aren't assembled?
"Emzz, your ok?" someone gently shook me to full reality.
"Huh?" I asked, dazed.
"I said, how come it's haunted?" Jonah asked me.
"Oh, ummm," I said, and kept thinking. I was distracted, I couldn't think straight. I grabbed the staff of the mirror, and check the bottom. My dad held this. He was researching about this Mirror, trying to assemble it. But why? We didn't know about the Vespers then...did we?
"Amy, what did Mr. McIntyre say about the Vespers when you guys won the race for the 39 Clues?" I asked, going way off topic.
"I thought we were talkin-"
"JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!" I shouted, not caring about anything anymore....much.
"Ok. But I don't remember it fully good. I mean, it was two years ago," Amy continued.
"I can help here," Dan said.
"OH THANK GOD FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY!!!!!" I shouted as I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen.
"Uhh, Emzzz. Are you alright?" James asked me.
"I need this information," I said seriously.
"Whoa. When she's like that...you don't wanna mess with her," Ian said, and he had a point... I'm not the girl you should mess with.
"Go," I said.
"Well, I'm gonna quote this...
'This is a completely different family,' Mr. McIntyre said. 'Not related at all. They're even more secretive than the Cahills, and, frankly, they make Isabel Kabra look like Mother Teresa." Dan stared, quoting it word for word. Ian looked outraged that Mr. McIntyre used Isabel. But...who wouldn't?
"'They have long been interested in acquiring Cahill powers. They began trying to follow the clues years ago- you mihgt have detectd their shadowy presence during the clue hunt youself' Friske said. But that was mainly it," Dan finished.
"So...how was that important?" Sinead asked, as I finished writing it.
"It JUST IS!!!!" I shouted angrily. I then looked at my hands that were holding the pen and paper. Look what my past has done to me....to change me. "I'm...I'm sorry."
I ran to my room, shut the door and crawled on my guest bed. I held a pillow in my arms, and hummed a song. I heard a knock on my door, then the creek of the door opening.
"Emzz. It's us," Katelin said.
"Can we come in?" Cami suggested, and I nodded.
"Shut the door behind," I whispered, and they did. Each one of them sat next to me. One on the right and one on the left, so it was like a human triangle.
"You seem distracted these days. What happened down there?" Camila asked.
"You don't wanna know," I answered.
"Of course I wanna know. That's kinda why we're up here," Katelin said.
"They knew," I whispered.
"Who knew about what?" Cami asked.
"My dad. Real dad, biological dad. He knew about the mirror. He knew how to stop the Vespers. He tried to prevent this. But it didn't happen. How did they know about the mirror, if I've learnt it off my karate teacher after they died?" I asked, and they shrugged.
"I don't know, but so? How does the end of the clue hunt matter?" Cami asked.
"It's all informations that we know already. The Vespers aren't a family, but like a group. We know who Vesper 6,5 ad 4 are," Katelin agreed with Cami.
"But don't you see? We could've prevented this. We could've just moved on from the Clue Hunt to the Vespers!!!! We wouldn't have a time limit right now. I know this may sound crazy, but my parents knew what was to be done. So we gotta go to China now...AND GET THE MIRROR TO THAT TEMPLE!!!!!!!" I shouted.
"Emzz, you are crazy. But what's with all the drama? I'm getting sick and worried here!!!!" Katelin asked, and hugged me. I pulled an arm out and pulled Camila into the hug.
"Just catching up from all the drama when you became a Vesper," I winked and smiled. We got off from the bed, and walked.
"Oh wait," I said, just before I exited the room.
"What's up??" Katelin asked.
"Could you tell everyone that...I remembered something from our childhood. I'll give more info to Jamie later," I said, and both of them nodded.
"You might need to go calm down Jonah a bit though. He's getting awfully worried about you," Camila winked and I smiled. I walked downstairs into Jonah's arms.
"I'm so sorry for worring you," I whispered, and kissed him.
"It's ok babe," Jonah replied, kissing my forehead. The goo had came off by now (thank God) so I was ok.
"So...why did you worry us so badly?" Jamie asked.
"That, I will tell you later. Right now, I need to tell you why this place it's haunted," I said, and everyone went to sit down. I turned off the light and grabbed a torch sneakily. I sat back down inbetween my boys Jonah and Jamie. I turned the torch on and started the fateful story.
"There's this....house, we can say, in China. It's called Gongwangfu and a terrible tragedy struck one day. Late at night, long after all the tourists have left this popular Houhai historic spot, the cries of a mother whose youngest son perished can be heard echoing through Prince Gong's expecsive mansion. Before the house passed onto the regent, the residence of the home was owned by famously corrupt Quing Dynasty official, He Shen and his harem of over 80 concubines. Credited with being China's most corrupt official of all time, the morally bankrupt courtier's only having grace was his deviotion to his first wife, Feng Shi. But tragedy struck when their youngest son died in a battle against Nanyang, a rebellious area in Southern Qing dynasty China. Feng became so distraught that she fell ill. Ever the devoted husband, He Shen hired monks to come to the house and pray for her health to return. But on Mid-Autumn day, just months after the death of her son, Feng died of a broken heart. The former lady of the house is in good company, many of her husband s former escorts are said to also haunt the building. Even now, security guards at the tourist hotspot say they sometimes see female ghosts dressed in white wandering around the garden near the rockeries and pools," I explained....with expression.
"Whoa...," everyone said.
"I know. Spooked me when my karate teacher said it. Now, we need to go there, so go pack your bags!!!!" I shouted, and everyone went.

My head was pounding and I still felt the little pain of what the boys in my life have done to me. Jonah, is the last one. If he dumps me, never again. No...unless it's Taylor Launtner. Taylor Launtner will always be an exception. "WHAT??!!?" everyone shricked, and I winced again. Only this time it was the noise in the room. It's so...echoy in here. "It's the only place we can assemble the mirror!!!! We need to go to this haunted tem-"
"Wait wait, did you say haunted?" Dan asked.
"Yeah. Can't take the heat?" I playfully teased.
"I'M BOOKING THE NEXT FLIGHT OUTTA HERE!!!!!!! HAUNTED PLACE, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!" Dan shouted, and started to get up but was pulled down by Amy.
"Wwwhhy hhaaunted temmples?" Amy began to stammer. Oh no...
"Look Amzz, just breathe," Smriti tried to calm her down. I looked at Katelin, and she was a bit shaken up too.
"It's ok Katelin. I believe in you," Jamie said, which was very romantic in my opinion.
"Awww, did you hear that Kat? He believes in you," I said, smiling.
"You don't have to come if you want," Camila said, and Katelin nodded.
"I'm coming. Who else will pull Emzz out of trouble, instead of going deeper in it?" Katelin asked.
"Ngawww, thanks Katelin!!!! Camila and I will fully support you!!!" I said, and hugged Cami and Kat. Then, we sat back down with our boyfriends.
"So, mind telling me how it's haunted?" Jonah asked when I leaned against him. He put his left arm around me, and gently squeesed me. Suddenly, something flashed before me. Like...a memory.
"Hahaa. Do it again!!!" Some young girl said to her mum. The young girl look around 2, and her mum's face was full of joy.
"I can't. I have to go overseas tomorrow. You know that," her mum replied, and the young girl looked disappointed.
"Honey, I'm home," someone called through the door.
"Dad!!!!!!" some little boy called out. The father lifted him up and carried him with his right arm.
"DADDY!!!!!" the girl called out, hugging her father around the legs. It nearly lost his balance.
"Welcome home," the mother said, and the father one arm hugged her around the waist.
"Can we go out to eat? Maybe Domino's pizza?" the young girl suggessted.
"Maybe later sweetie. I just need to put my things away and we'll be off to have some Domino's," the father said. The little girl followed him to her parent's room and saw her father take out something that looked familier. The Mirror pieces. I then realised, half in the fantasy and half in reality, that that was my family. Me taking a sneak peek in my parent's room, and me seeing what I wasn't supposed to see. The mirror. Why did my dad have it? He had all the pieces, but how come they still aren't assembled?
"Emzz, your ok?" someone gently shook me to full reality.
"Huh?" I asked, dazed.
"I said, how come it's haunted?" Jonah asked me.
"Oh, ummm," I said, and kept thinking. I was distracted, I couldn't think straight. I grabbed the staff of the mirror, and check the bottom. My dad held this. He was researching about this Mirror, trying to assemble it. But why? We didn't know about the Vespers then...did we?
"Amy, what did Mr. McIntyre say about the Vespers when you guys won the race for the 39 Clues?" I asked, going way off topic.
"I thought we were talkin-"
"JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!" I shouted, not caring about anything anymore....much.
"Ok. But I don't remember it fully good. I mean, it was two years ago," Amy continued.
"I can help here," Dan said.
"OH THANK GOD FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY!!!!!" I shouted as I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen.
"Uhh, Emzzz. Are you alright?" James asked me.
"I need this information," I said seriously.
"Whoa. When she's like that...you don't wanna mess with her," Ian said, and he had a point... I'm not the girl you should mess with.
"Go," I said.
"Well, I'm gonna quote this...
'This is a completely different family,' Mr. McIntyre said. 'Not related at all. They're even more secretive than the Cahills, and, frankly, they make Isabel Kabra look like Mother Teresa." Dan stared, quoting it word for word. Ian looked outraged that Mr. McIntyre used Isabel. But...who wouldn't?
"'They have long been interested in acquiring Cahill powers. They began trying to follow the clues years ago- you mihgt have detectd their shadowy presence during the clue hunt youself' Friske said. But that was mainly it," Dan finished.
"So...how was that important?" Sinead asked, as I finished writing it.
"It JUST IS!!!!" I shouted angrily. I then looked at my hands that were holding the pen and paper. Look what my past has done to me....to change me. "I'm...I'm sorry."
I ran to my room, shut the door and crawled on my guest bed. I held a pillow in my arms, and hummed a song. I heard a knock on my door, then the creek of the door opening.
"Emzz. It's us," Katelin said.
"Can we come in?" Cami suggested, and I nodded.
"Shut the door behind," I whispered, and they did. Each one of them sat next to me. One on the right and one on the left, so it was like a human triangle.
"You seem distracted these days. What happened down there?" Camila asked.
"You don't wanna know," I answered.
"Of course I wanna know. That's kinda why we're up here," Katelin said.
"They knew," I whispered.
"Who knew about what?" Cami asked.
"My dad. Real dad, biological dad. He knew about the mirror. He knew how to stop the Vespers. He tried to prevent this. But it didn't happen. How did they know about the mirror, if I've learnt it off my karate teacher after they died?" I asked, and they shrugged.
"I don't know, but so? How does the end of the clue hunt matter?" Cami asked.
"It's all informations that we know already. The Vespers aren't a family, but like a group. We know who Vesper 6,5 ad 4 are," Katelin agreed with Cami.
"But don't you see? We could've prevented this. We could've just moved on from the Clue Hunt to the Vespers!!!! We wouldn't have a time limit right now. I know this may sound crazy, but my parents knew what was to be done. So we gotta go to China now...AND GET THE MIRROR TO THAT TEMPLE!!!!!!!" I shouted.
"Emzz, you are crazy. But what's with all the drama? I'm getting sick and worried here!!!!" Katelin asked, and hugged me. I pulled an arm out and pulled Camila into the hug.
"Just catching up from all the drama when you became a Vesper," I winked and smiled. We got off from the bed, and walked.
"Oh wait," I said, just before I exited the room.
"What's up??" Katelin asked.
"Could you tell everyone that...I remembered something from our childhood. I'll give more info to Jamie later," I said, and both of them nodded.
"You might need to go calm down Jonah a bit though. He's getting awfully worried about you," Camila winked and I smiled. I walked downstairs into Jonah's arms.
"I'm so sorry for worring you," I whispered, and kissed him.
"It's ok babe," Jonah replied, kissing my forehead. The goo had came off by now (thank God) so I was ok.
"So...why did you worry us so badly?" Jamie asked.
"That, I will tell you later. Right now, I need to tell you why this place it's haunted," I said, and everyone went to sit down. I turned off the light and grabbed a torch sneakily. I sat back down inbetween my boys Jonah and Jamie. I turned the torch on and started the fateful story.
"There's this....house, we can say, in China. It's called Gongwangfu and a terrible tragedy struck one day. Late at night, long after all the tourists have left this popular Houhai historic spot, the cries of a mother whose youngest son perished can be heard echoing through Prince Gong's expecsive mansion. Before the house passed onto the regent, the residence of the home was owned by famously corrupt Quing Dynasty official, He Shen and his harem of over 80 concubines. Credited with being China's most corrupt official of all time, the morally bankrupt courtier's only having grace was his deviotion to his first wife, Feng Shi. But tragedy struck when their youngest son died in a battle against Nanyang, a rebellious area in Southern Qing dynasty China. Feng became so distraught that she fell ill. Ever the devoted husband, He Shen hired monks to come to the house and pray for her health to return. But on Mid-Autumn day, just months after the death of her son, Feng died of a broken heart. Even now, security guards at the tourist hotspot say they sometimes see female ghosts dressed in white wandering around the garden near the rockeries and pools," I explained....with expression.

Camila, don't say your last post sucked!!!! It was awesome and didn't suck!!!!! I built tension :P. Ok ok, you don't have to say your age. But seriously, I never knew how old you were??!??!?! The world doesn't make sense....
@ Miks- No, I NEVER heard of those teams. To be honest, I just like playing the sport, not really watching it :P. Same for basketball. I'm tall, so I have a massive advantage and I love it. But I hate watching it :D. I can't believe they scored 100 centuries!!!!!!! We didn't play official cricket, we played continuous cricket :/.

"Hm?" I mumbled, gaping at my surroundings.
"You okay?" Emz asked, her arm around my shoulders.
I shook my head to clear it. Jet lag.
"Yeah, just fine," I answered.
"So where exactly is this place?" Dan asked.
"I'm pretty sure," Emily muttered to herself, looking around. I followed the direction of her gaze. People jostling others and talking in Chinese. I did not understand a bit of it. Not at all. But the rest could. Amy was the best at it though. She seemed to study and read more than I talk. And that's really saying something.
We had grabbed a flight straight to China........Somewhere in between Ian, Amy, Sinead, and the rest talking about the plan and making myself shovel down the airplane food, I fell asleep. So, I didn't really bother in asking what exactly we were doing. I just couldn't wait to get back to America. Or more accurately, the command center.
"Katelin? Didn't you hear Camila?" Sinead said. "We're heading that way."
"Yeah, Jonah said if you would answer that he'd pay you a million bucks!" Camila exclaimed.
And that's what I get for not paying attention. I smiled and winked.
"I could always ask Emily to get Jonah to give me a million," I teased. Emily rolled her eyes.
"Okay, let's go," Amy said. I looked over at Jamie and he winked at me.
"Don't worry Kate," he said. "I won't let any ninjas attack you."
I pretended to scowl. "I can fight by own battles, thank you very much."
He took my hand and Emily led us all through the throng of people. Chatter I couldn't comprehend filled my ears. All of us were either holding hands, holding on to pieces of clothing, or backpacks. We walked through the packed streets; people tried to get us to buy things or taste things. Amy declined for us and we moved on. Then, we were at Gongwangfu. It loomed before us.
"How will we get in?" Camila asked.
James smiled, "I think I have an idea." He looked at Emily and she nodded, smiling. James and Emily both disappeared around the back.
"Where did they..." Sinead stopped mid sentence. Then we heard a little pop and I faintly smelled smoke.
"Come on guys," Emily hissed, looking around. No one was around.
It was totally deserted and looked very neglected.
"Yo, lets check the place out then get out of here," Jonah said.
"I agree," Camila said. "We need to solve this, quickly."
"Fine," Sinead said. "Lets just follow Emily." And, we did.
The inside was moldy and damp. I plugged my nose.
"Whats the matter?" James asked me.
Dan and I looked at each other. I pulled my shirt over my mouth and nose.
"Asthma," we said at the same time.
"Where exactly do we go from here?" Amy asked.
Then my phone rang. I looked at the connection on the screen.
"Pretty good reception," I muttered to myself.
"Who is it?" Camila asked.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Katelin, I was wondering, do you have a minute?" Taylor Lautner asked in my ear.
"Um, sure. What do you need?"
"Did you know, you're on tv?"
What? No! "How?"
"All it says is some kids are wanted for questioning for breaking and entering a museum and a lot of other stuff."
Oh crud.
"Ugh.....that wasn't me," I lied.
"Katelin, who are you lying to?" Jamie asked.
'How do you know that?' I mouthed to him.
"Kate, it's obivous you can't lie," Emily laughed quietly.
"Katelin?" Taylor's voice pulled me back to the conversation.
"Thanks Taylor. Is that all?"
"Can we meet sometime soon?"
"Ugh, sorry, I've got plans for the next..." I thought....for the next....as long as we were up against the Vespers.
"Oh, I understand. Was it about that guy in the movie theatre?"
"He's part of it," I murmured, avoiding Jamie's gaze. "Anyway, hate to cut this short, but...bye!" I faked cheerfulness.
Emily was grinning from ear to ear.
"Don't tell me it was Ethan," Jamie grumbled.
"Nope," I smiled, but still confused. We hadn't really messed up the museum...right?
"It was Taylor, but no need to be jealous brother," Emily said. "Kate's only got eyes for you. Now lets go!"
I shivered as cold air brushed against my arms. A depressing, deadly feeling clung to every shred of happiness I had.
"What's going on?" Amy asked, teeth chattering.
"It's part of the haunted thing," Emily explained and I pressed closer to Jamie. Cold, damp, cold. I covered a cough with my hand and followed Emily over the creaking, rotting floorboards.
I slipped and crashed to the floor.
"Oh Katelin, are you all right?" Sinead asked me.
"Yeah," I rubbed my head. It had hit a wall. I looked at it. I had actually made a dent in it.
"Whoa, I never knew your head was that hard," Dan mumbled in awe.
Jamie, Camila, and Emily glowered at Dan. He raised his hands.
"Hey," he coughed. "Don't gang up on me."
Amy kneeled beside me and rubbed her hands around the dent.
"I don't think Katelin did this," she murmured. "I think it was here before."
Then a howl pierced the air. I jumped and stumbled into something. It crashed to the floor.
"What was THAT?" Ian asked, alarmed. I felt for what I had knocked over.
"An axe," I said and Dan immeadiatly took it from me.
"Ah cool!" he exclaimed.
Sinead shivered and sat beside us. "I don't know what that howl was, but lets finish this."
I saw a tiny little slit in the wall.
"Hey, can I have a flashlight?" I asked and Camila shined one on my hand. I pointed to the little slit.
"See what that is?" I asked.
"What?" Emily asked.
I looked at the others.
"A key whole."
"What kind of key?" James asked, looking thoughtful.
I took a piece of the mirror out of my jean shorts. I placed it in the dent. It fit a fraction of it.
"Hey," Sinead said, watching. Amy and Sinead moved away for Emily and Camila kneeled beside me.
"Oh my," Emily whispered. "I didn't think this was it, but..."
They both took out their piece and placed it in the dent. Like splattered across everything. Threw everything into sunlight.
A lullaby filled the air. The sweetest music I had ever heard. Things I'd dreamed of, wished, thought about, were right in front of me. Growing up, having a free life, a family of my own. No troubless no worries. I wondered what the others were seeing.
A golden light was in front of me filled with visions. I saw myself, Jamie, children. I saw all of us finishing college, celebrating. No worries or cares.
Then I felt two hands take mine. I blinked and I saw Camila and Emily smiling at me. They had had their seven minutes in heaven too. The light was still surrounding us and as I looked in front of us, a man was standing there.
"Hello children," the man said. Emily's head snapped toward the voice. Jamie had his hand on my shoulder and I looked at him. His eyes held a look of wonder.
"Wait, who are you?" Jonah asked, he now crouched beside Emily.
"Your girlfriend's father," he said and I heard collective gasps. Mine included.
"Daddy?" Emily whispered. The man smiled. A symbol appeared behind him. The one that had been on Emily's shoulder. The one my sister had drawn.
"What does that mean?" Dan asked quietly.
"It means something you children did not understand. I shall tell you later, but now you need rest," he smiled at us.
"Jamie, Emily," he said. "Come on. Bring your friends. I'm so sorry we had to leave you...you thought we were gone...we weren't. I promise we will answer your questions as soon as we can. Right now, safety is what matters. Also, don't forget your..." he looked at Jonah and I and winked at his children.
"Your sweethearts." I laughed and we all stood up. Emily ran to her father and so did Jamie. They laughed quietly and smiled. Tears streaming down their faces. I felt my cheeks, discovering the warm wetness of my tears. Jamie came back and pulled me forward. I grabbed Camila's hand and we all followed Emily and Jamie's dad down a passageway. They were positively beaming.
We entered a warm, cozy room and a woman who looked identical to Emily was tending the fire.
"Oh Emily!" she breathed and rushed toward her daughter. Jamie followed. The rest of us stood there in feeling like outsiders on a very important moment.
"Dad," Emily said, her arm around her mom's waist. "Mom, these are my besties. Camila and Katelin. The rest are wonderful friends too."
"Hi," I said quietly. The others spoke as well.
We all were told to sit on the couches and chairs. The family all sat beside each other on a couch as long as a carved wall made from stone. I sat on the floor in front of them and so did Jonah. The others curled up in chairs with blankets and hot chocolate. I sipped mine and sighed. What an awesome surprise for them! And we might get more information on how to do this!
Jamie pulled me up beside them.
"Hello dear," his mom said to me.
"I'm Katelin," I said shyly.
"And also Jamie's girlfriend," Emily teased and heat climbed up my neck and spread to my cheeks.s
"Welcome to our family," she smiled.
"Do you perhaps have someone...specail?" their dad asked Emily. Though, he'd already known Jonah and I were....dating his children.
Jamie chuckled and Jonah pulled his hat low and nodded. Then pushed it back up.
"And this is Jonah Wizard," Emily said proudly and made room for Jonah to sit beside her. Emily's dad gave him a steely glare.
"Don't hurt my girl, do you understand?" he said.
"Yes sir," Jonah said with respect.
"Mom," Emily asked. "Can we please stay here?"
"Oh course dearie!" she exclaimed. She got up and gave the other kids hugs and lingered when she gave a hug to Camila.
"We know how brave you've all been," she said to us. "We might not be your parents, but we are so proud."
The rest of us beamed with pleasure.
"Now, would you like us to tell you the story of what has happened since we last saw our children?" Emily and Jamie's dad asked. I leaned into Jamie and nodded.
Everyone smiled and payed very close attention.

'How do you know that?' I mouthed to him.
"Kate, it's obivous you can't lie," Emily laughed quietly.
"Katelin?" Taylor's voice pulled me back to the conversation.
"Thanks Taylor. Is that all?"
"Can we meet sometime soon?"
"Ugh, sorry, I've got plans for the next..." I thought....for the next....as long as we were up against the Vespers.
"Oh, I understand. Was it about that guy in the movie theatre?"
"He's part of it," I murmured, avoiding Jamie's gaze. "Anyway, hate to cut this short, but...bye!" I faked cheerfulness.
Emily was grinning from ear to ear.
"Don't tell me it was Ethan," Jamie grumbled.
"Nope," I smiled, but still confused. We hadn't really messed up the museum...right?
"It was Taylor, but no need to be jealous brother," Emily said. "Kate's only got eyes for you. Now lets go!"
I shivered as cold air brushed against my arms. A depressing, deadly feeling clung to every shred of happiness I had.
"What's going on?" Amy asked, teeth chattering.
"It's part of the haunted thing," Emily explained and I pressed closer to Jamie. Cold, damp, cold. I covered a cough with my hand and followed Emily over the creaking, rotting floorboards.
I slipped and crashed to the floor.
"Oh Katelin, are you all right?" Sinead asked me.
"Yeah," I rubbed my head. It had hit a wall. I looked at it. I had actually made a dent in it.
"Whoa, I never knew your head was that hard," Dan mumbled in awe.
Jamie, Camila, and Emily glowered at Dan. He raised his hands.
"Hey," he coughed. "Don't gang up on me."
Amy kneeled beside me and rubbed her hands around the dent.
"I don't think Katelin did this," she murmured. "I think it was here before."
Then a howl pierced the air. I jumped and stumbled into something. It crashed to the floor.
"What was THAT?" Ian asked, alarmed. I felt for what I had knocked over.
"An axe," I said and Dan immeadiatly took it from me.
"Ah cool!" he exclaimed.
Sinead shivered and sat beside us. "I don't know what that howl was, but lets finish this."
I saw a tiny little slit in the wall.
"Hey, can I have a flashlight?" I asked and Camila shined one on my hand. I pointed to the little slit.
"See what that is?" I asked.
"What?" Emily asked.
I looked at the others.
"A key whole."
"What kind of key?" James asked, looking thoughtful.
I took a piece of the mirror out of my jean shorts. I placed it in the dent. It fit a fraction of it.
"Hey," Sinead said, watching. Amy and Sinead moved away for Emily and Camila kneeled beside me.
"Oh my," Emily whispered. "I didn't think this was it, but..."
They both took out their piece and placed it in the dent. Like splattered across everything. Threw everything into sunlight.
A lullaby filled the air. The sweetest music I had ever heard. Things I'd dreamed of, wished, thought about, were right in front of me. Growing up, having a free life, a family of my own. No troubless no worries. I wondered what the others were seeing.
A golden light was in front of me filled with visions. I saw myself, Jamie, children. I saw all of us finishing college, celebrating. No worries or cares.
Then I felt two hands take mine. I blinked and I saw Camila and Emily smiling at me. They had had their seven minutes in heaven too. The light was still surrounding us and as I looked in front of us, a man was standing there.
"Hello children," the man said. Emily's head snapped toward the voice. Jamie had his hand on my shoulder and I looked at him. His eyes held a look of wonder.
"Wait, who are you?" Jonah asked, he now crouched beside Emily.
"Your girlfriend's father," he said and I heard collective gasps. Mine included.
"Daddy?" Emily whispered. The man smiled. A symbol appeared behind him. The one that had been on Emily's shoulder. The one my sister had drawn.
"What does that mean?" Dan asked quietly.
"It means something you children did not understand. I shall tell you later, but now you need rest," he smiled at us.
"Jamie, Emily," he said. "Come on. Bring your friends. I'm so sorry we had to leave you...you thought we were gone...we weren't. I promise we will answer your questions as soon as we can. Right now, safety is what matters. Also, don't forget your..." he looked at Jonah and I and winked at his children.
"Your sweethearts." I laughed and we all stood up. Emily ran to her father and so did Jamie. They laughed quietly and smiled. Tears streaming down their faces. I felt my cheeks, discovering the warm wetness of my tears. Jamie came back and pulled me forward. I grabbed Camila's hand and we all followed Emily and Jamie's dad down a passageway. They were positively beaming.
We entered a warm, cozy room and a woman who looked identical to Emily was tending the fire.
"Oh Emily!" she breathed and rushed toward her daughter. Jamie followed. The rest of us stood there in feeling like outsiders on a very important moment.
"Dad," Emily said, her arm around her mom's waist. "Mom, these are my besties. Camila and Katelin. The rest are wonderful friends too."
"Hi," I said quietly. The others spoke as well.
We all were told to sit on the couches and chairs. The family all sat beside each other on a couch as long as a carved wall made from stone. I sat on the floor in front of them and so did Jonah. The others curled up in chairs with blankets and hot chocolate. I sipped mine and sighed. What an awesome surprise for them! And we might get more information on how to do this!
Jamie pulled me up beside them.
"Hello dear," his mom said to me.
"I'm Katelin," I said shyly.
"And also Jamie's girlfriend," Emily teased and heat climbed up my neck and spread to my cheeks.s
"Welcome to our family," she smiled.
"Do you perhaps have someone...specail?" their dad asked Emily. Though, he'd already known Jonah and I were....dating his children.
Jamie chuckled and Jonah pulled his hat low and nodded. Then pushed it back up.
"And this is Jonah Wizard," Emily said proudly and made room for Jonah to sit beside her. Emily's dad gave him a steely glare.
"Don't hurt my girl, do you understand?" he said.
"Yes sir," Jonah said with respect.
"Mom," Emily asked. "Can we please stay here?"
"Oh course dearie!" she exclaimed. She got up and gave the other kids hugs and lingered when she gave a hug to Camila.
"We know how brave you've all been," she said to us. "We might not be your parents, but we are so proud."
The rest of us beamed with pleasure.
"Now, would you like us to tell you the story of what has happened since we last saw our children?" Emily and Jamie's dad asked. I leaned into Jamie and nodded.
Everyone smiled and payed very close attention.

Apparently, I need to post part 2. There 'might' be a part 3. Hey, I need to finish the mirror right?

"How am I supposed to fit all my shoes in this suitcase!!!!!!" Natalie complained. We, the girls, were upstairs, packing up the last of our things while the boys were downstairs waiting for us.
"You don't need that much shoes. We're only gonna assemble the mirror and get the heck out of China and back here," Elise said, but she was having trouble herself.
"Here, let us help," Katelin said, and gestured for Camila and me to come. We came with devious smiles on our faces. First, we went to Elise and took a quarter of her shoes out.
"HEY!!!!!!" Elise said, and went to grab her shoes but we zipped up her suitcase before she could retrieve them all.
"Sorry," Camila said, shrugging. Natalie was shaking her head in fear, pulling herself and her suitcase towards the door. Katelin, Camila and I exchanged glances, and ran after Natalie's suitcase.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!" Natalie shouted, and I dived for the suitcase. I grabbed it and Katelin forced it open. Camila threw all the shoes around the room that looked like it wasn't gonna fit with any of her clothes that she packed. Natalie was crying....literally.
"No, not my babies!!!!!" Natalie screamed with fear, and with....half, of her shoes out of the suitcase, we barely managed to zip her suitcase. Camila, Kateln and I had to sit on it while the others tried to close it!!!!!!!!
"Whoa Natalie, what were you planning to do, stay there for the rest of your life?" Sinead asked.
"No....," Natalie quietly replied, putting all the shoes Camila threw in the shoe cupboard.
"You girls ok up there?" Jamie asked.
"Yo, it sounds like your havin' a fight up 'dere," Jonah shouted.
"WE'RE OK!!!!!!!" Katelin said, and finished packing.
"We're coming," Camila shouted, and went. One by one, we all went down. After everyone went, I took a minute to fit my family album. The copied one, of course. I gave the real one to Jamie. Of course, everything was exactly the same. Even the actual photo album. I took the family picture out, sat on my bed, and just stared at it. I was only planning to stare at it for a couple of seconds. But, I guess, took longer then expected, since Jamie came up to check on me. I heard a knock on the door, and looked to the side. The door was fully open and on it was leaning Jamie.
"Oh, hey," I said, a little disappointed.
"Sup?" Jamie asked.
"Just thinking."
"About what?" Jamie asked, and sat next to me. He saw me holding the family photo.
"What if our parents were alive? Where would be now? Would we still be here, or somewhere far away from the Vesper buisness. Would we even know about the Vesper buisness? Why didn't our parents tell us?"
"Whoa, you've definitely been thinking," Jamie said.
"Do you even remember them?" I asked him.
"Yeah, clearly now."
"I don't. It's like a faded memory. Their faces are blury, so that's why I keep looking at this photograph. So I can try to remember them. It doesn't really help though, but I try," I said, and Jamie hugged me.
"Look, I know times are tough without parents but we'll make it through," Jamie said.
"Easy for you to say, you lived with Wash thinking he was your biological father. I, on the other hand, didn't. I grew up with only my friends to comfort me. But I didn't have much friends, since they thought I was a loner. I think my act pushed them away but the unpopular people hanged with me. The popular were jealous, I think, and were trying to destroy my life even more than it was already. So yeah, times like that, I wish I had them by my side to support me," I said.
"But now's different," Jamie said.
"How?" I asked.
"'Cause you have me," Jamie replied, and hugged me.
"Finish packing up, but keep that little photograph to youself, k?"
"Thanks bro," I said with a smile.
"No worries, but just hurry up," Jamie said, and I smiled. I put the album in my suitcase and dragged it down. I didn't want to fold the photograph, so I placed it in my deep pocket in my jumper.
"Here," I said, all calm, cool and collected. The CCC. Like Cahill Command Centre and Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!!!! Speaking of chocolate chip cookies...
"Do we have chocolate chip cookies?" I asked, going to the cupboard.
"Wayyyyy ahead of you," Katelin said and Camila held up the cookies.
"I WANT ONE!!!!!" I shouted, darting for a cookie. I got one and bit it.
"Pfft. Not enough choc chip in it," I said, tasting only a bit of choc chip.
"Cause those were the 'for Emzz so she doesn't eat the real bunch' cookies," Katelin said, and I opened my mouth wide.
"Fine then," I said, and we all started laughing.
"So, shall we?" Jonah asked, taking my suitcases.
"Hey, you don't have to do that," I said, smiling.
"Of course I gotta," Jonah said and kissed my cheek. I grabbed the one with the album in it though. We got to the limo, and surprisingly, fit all of our luggage. We all got in the limo and sat. I was inbetween Katelin and Camila, my besties.
"So, what took you so long?" Dan asked me.
"Just...staring at a photograph," I replied, and Dan understood.
"I know how you feel," Dan said and sighed.
"It's tough, isn't it?"
"To loose the only photograph? Yeah."
"But that's when....," I said, and grabbed something out of my poket.
"YOU GET A CLOWN IN THE FAMILY TO CHEER YOU UP!!!!!" I shouted and got a clown noise out. I placed it on Dan and everyone cracked up.
"I got it for red nose day," I said, and Dan started acting like a clown!!!!
"I will never, ever forget this!!!!" Amy said, taking a pic.
"Send it to me!!!!" we all practicly shouted at her.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Dan shouted and reached for the phone.
"Dan, quit it!!!" Amy shouted.
"Not until I get the phone!!!!" Dan shouted, and Amy threw the phone to Ian.
"Ooooooo, this is gonna be good," Camila said, and Dan literally tackled Ian.
"GET THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Dan shouted, and grabbed the phone. Ian and Dan were literally wrestling for the phone until it slipped and hit me in the face.
"OUCH!!!!" I shouted, and grabbed the phone. I sent the pic to everyone who was in the limo, and Dan's life was over.
"NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Dan shouted, and broke down in the limo, the nose still on him. "My life is over!!!!"
"Here's your phone Amy," I said and threw it to her. Everyone was cracking up at the photo. We reached the airport, and Jonah went to get us a private jet to get to China.
"Shouldn't you go with him?" Chad asked.
"Why?" I asked.
"He might meet a girl," Chad said, and I slapped his chest playfully.
"He can manage. Sarah, on the other hand, needs to watch out for you," I said, and Sarah overheard.
"I think I can manage," Sarah said, and winked at Chad. I just shook my head. Suddenly, someone put their arms around me and spun me around. I knew who it was, and I leaned against his chest.
"Got a plane?" I asked, still leaning on his chest.
"You doubted me?" Jonah asked, surprised.
"It wasn't me who doubted you," I said, looking at Chad. Chad just whistled and walked away.
"C'mon, your carriage awaits," Jonah said, and I took his hand.
"It's a plane, not a carriage," I replied, smiling.
"I know," Jonah said and quickly kissed me. I giggled and we continued to walk. The others were all in front of us, spending their times with their boyfriends.
"How lucky was I to get one of the most famous guys in the whole wide world?" I asked, smiling.
"Pretty lucky," Jonah replied, and winked.
"Why me though?" I asked.
"I told you."
"But seriously. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world with you."
"Your the only person who has ever made me feel like this."
"Really? What about other popular celebrities?"
"'Dey have nothin' on me," Jonah said, which made me giggle like crazy. I kissed his cheek and gently pulled him so we could catch up with the others. We boarded the plane and our luggage was already there. The airport luggage security were happy to serve us, apparently.
"Are we gonna fly the plane or?" Katelin asked Jamie, and a brilliant idea formed in my head.
"I-"
"No Emzz, you can't fly the plane," Jonah said.
"Awww," I said.
"Jamie and Jonah will," James said.
"Uhh, I'm not comfortable with that," I said, and we chuckled.
"We'll land it," Jamie said.
"Ok, but once we're on the ground again, I'm gonna hug it," I said, and sat down on a seat. The others joined and Jamie and Jonah went to the pilot and co-pilot's seat.
"Please fasten your seatbelts, we're about to lift off," Jamie said into the microphone, and it looked like he was enjoying it.

I suck at englsh. I got a really bad grade on the last test. I would have gotten even worse if I would have had 1 more mistake!!!

It doesn't really matter anyway, but George does have a point. Normally, the older you are and the more you do something, you're better at. :) (For writing: as in grammar, puncuation, etc)
