Bud's Story: Intoduction
Hi everyone! My name is not Bud, it's my nickname. My actual name is Katelin. I'm also called Kate and Katie and Miss Bossy. My life story so far has not been easy. I'm not really going to add being about a Cahill. Though I might. Hopefully, I don't bore you. Also, I'm writing this because we are all different. We all have problems with lots of stuff. So, hopefully this helps you with whatever your going through. I will post in a few minutes. I have to help make lunch. See ya soon!

Bud's Story: Intoduction
So, (can't say b-day) 14 years ago my mom had me. I was born three months early and weighed 2 pounds 2 ounces! I was really,really tiny and sick. I never passed a hearing test in my left ear (still haven't). I also had a lot of trouble breathing. Then as I got older I had tons of ear infections, really bad ones. So I had a "tube" put in. It didn't really help. So, I had some type of scan (2 years old at this time) and it showed I had a tumor in my left ear. (this is the gross part) It ate away the three bones in my left ear and if they hadn't caught it in time I would have died (i'm sparing you the really gross part but if you want to know, ask). I had tons of sugeries to get it out. It is now out and I have a hearing aid to help me hear. Then I also had really bad asthma and so I was hospitailed one to many times. At school in kindergarden no one would talk to me because I had a half of a white cup to cover my left ear from the sugery. I was to scared to talk to them until two people befriended me. My best friend Emma and my friend Thomas. School never really got better. I missed a lot and the kids thought i was nice but a freak.
So, I went through school as the "Weird One". I was nice. I was in choir and band, but that didn't help. Girls would make fun of me and say mean things like "Katelin, can you hear me?" right at recess, yelling in my face. I guess i could be considered pretty (light brown blond hair ,green eyes, tall) and a lot of girls hated me for it and for my singing voice. It was horrible. The teachers didn't understand either. So, many of you can probably relate in some way. I'm not done, but if you have questions about what happened or how I felt or even about the surgies or hearing aid, I promise I'll answer ASAP.

Bud's Story: Intoduction
Wow, that must be awful, I was born healthy and fine. My mom had given birth for the second time when she got me. I had one sister at that time. Everything was well until my mom gave birth again. My younger sister was cute and cute. Then my sister for the first time EVER yelled at me and hit me! She was mad at me for not playing a game her way. Then my little sister who liked me and didn't know Kaitlin(older) existed, started ignoring me and playing with Kaitlin! I was so mad that I couldn't control it and I said that I hated Kaitlin. She heard it and said she was telling on me. The worst part was that I lied about it, this is also the funny part. "No, I didn't say I hate you... I said I HAY you!" "Yeah SURE" She didn't tell on me but I felt bad about it for a long time.
My little sister didn't get better. She ignored me more and more until she sort-of forgot I EXISTED! Then Kaitlin started saying I was a monster coming to eat her and that she shouldn't be listening to what I say. Soon all my friends started hating me for weird reasons like LIKING a girl and saying stuff like 'not right now I'm a little busy, in a second' I was really annoyed. I finally found a friend: Nathan. Soon I made friends with a boy named Taylor(BOY). He had to move so we couldn't talk to him again. Soon more and more boys came to our church and I made friends with a lot of them! One of them came when we were kids and left and then after 4 years came back! He was a really good friend to me and Kaitlin(my younger sisters name is Kristine) He said he wanted to marry Kaitlin when they were five! he said that I would be his favorite cousin if I were his cousin! So it was good to have him back. Sadly he forgot about that but still liked me. I was still sad that Kaitlin didn't like me... during movies we would have fights until we cried.(when we were five and six) My sister still doesn't like me. I finally started liking movies and watching them alone. My sister was more interested in reading books. Then we switched. I found out I had to wear glasses and was excited until I actually WORE them. I still have glasses but I won't need them forever and for everything right now. I soon started dislikeing Kaitlin until we weren't friends at all. So I didn't exactly have a perfect life either. When I'm mad at Kaitlin and Kristine I usually stroke our dog buddy, or play with my two parakeets; Baby, baby blue female parakeet, and Big Ben, Dark green male parakeet, they mated! Some times I stare at my older sisters lizard Violet(mack-snow leapord Gecko) or stare at hammy the hamster or look at Kaitlins fish.

Bud's Story: Intoduction
So, to continue, I' am homeschooled now and I'm in 8th grade. Since I don't have the stress about public school and such, my health is a whole lot better. I still have my hearing aid and when my little brother's around I take it out (talk about loud). Also, I live with my grandparents (my mom lives with us) and they're the best! Maybe I shouldn't have called this Bud's Story because no one has posted so far or you guys think I'm weird. I'm on facebook and some of my "friends" aren't very nice so, I cut them off and don't talk to them. When I go places I'm asked about my hearing aid and just say that i'm hard of hearing instead of going into depth. Well, just so you know and as i've said, I will answer any questions and if you can relate I'm glad. If this helps you for some bizzare reason please tell me.

Wow, I know the sibiling stuff is hard. I'm the oldest and my sister is 11 soon to be 12 and my brother is 10. I love them, but we're not super close. That's funny that your sis is named Kaitlin cause mine is too, but spelled differently. I have to get glasses this x-mas because I can't see far away and when I start driving, I'm going to have to have them to be able to drive. Hopefully, and I think so, life gets better. You'll never have sisters like the ones you have now. Appericate (prob. spelled wrong) them and try to get along. My sis and bro and I fight like crazy, but we still love each other (sounds corny). My sister and brother have both said they hate me many times and me to them. I feel guiltly and then apoligize cause that's what right. Try it, you might feel better.
My sister watches tv 24/7 and for my brother it's video games 24/7! I am a Janus and so I write, write stories, write songs, play paino, drums, guitar, and I babysit and read. So, for me life is good right now!

I understand...well sort of. Everyone thinks I look ugly. It's only because I have glasses. I get lonely alot, do you? My friends all live an hour away and otherwise I have one friend that lives 1 minute away. This is the only place where people understand me. Continuation...

Bud's Story: Intoduction
I don't like doing instruments that I am forced to do. I like playing piano but my mom gets really mad if I make mistakes and I don't like that. I secretly play the harmonica. I can only play one song since I don't have lessons: Silent Night. It sounds great and I'm still working on it. I hate always having lessons and being under pressure. Do you know how that feels? This is all true btw. This week I am supossed to have my birthday. It would be a great week if like I said before... my mom wouldn't yell at me. I might be able to watch the new Transformers movie coming sept. 30 and I will be haviing two friends over for three to six hours I think. I don't have that much. I have a big and annoying house that is hard to describe. I have two birds and a family dog. My legs always hurt and my sisters are always playing games without me. My mom bought an air hockey game and my sister never plays with me. I am always annoyed. i might sound like a little baby, but my cousin understands me. I cry all the time. You might understand because you also are sort of..... I don't know how to explain it. I cry not because my sister doesn't play with me but when she NEVER plays with me, and she doesn't get how that feels. I don't cry because my mom yells at me for something I didn't do, it is because of all the things she hasn't said or done and falesly ecused me. I don't cry because I got in trouble once but because my sister always lies to get me in trouble. I cry because of all the things that have gone wrong in my family.

I totaly understand about the learning things you don't want to. As for the birthday thing, mine was over the weekend. I'm now 14. Happy Birthday! I also understand the whole mom thing. It seems all I do is get in troublee and I can't do anything right. I bet you know the feeling. Keep playing the harmonica if you really enjoy it. I don't know how to play that, but if your allowed to go on youtube, you can try to learn from there.
Back to the mom thing, on my b-day she didn't even tell me happy b-day. :(
My house is a one-story and long. We have a cat named WJ, but she's a girl. I have a sister Abigail and her nickname I gave her is Abbs (will be 12 soon). Then there is my little brother Joshua (10) who is spoiled beyond belief.

My sister and I have never been alike. When we were little, I liked red and blue and she liked pink. Now she has some kind of goth color going on. (she does not have any peircing, no eyeliner, or black nail polish or tatoos) She has thick blonde hair and I have light brown with natural blonde highlights. I have green eyes and she has blue. She believes in dragons and Santa Clause while I believe in neither.
We argue and fight 24/7. I'm suprised we're related! She has tan skin all year round and I have pale skin expect when I blush (my cheeks go red). We are so different that we each have different opinions on our parents!!!!! I have an idea! If you don't have many friends, you can be one of mine! We probably won't ever meet, but we can chat with each other "here". If you don't want to be friends, thats fine because I am a girl and I'm not big on football and other guy stuff, but I'll listen! But i do like baseball. My fav. team is the
ST. Louis Cardinals!!! So, want to be friends!?!

I know how different is! My older sister who is also Kaitlin. She likes movies that I hate and She hates movies that I like. She hates music that I like but I like music that she likes. We like different games and tv shows. We like different animals and she likes weird stuff like playing with mealworms when she is supossed to be letting her leapord gecko eat them.! My mom won't stop saying happy birthday. Sadly she takes twenty minutes(exaggerating a little, but is long) taking pictures of the cake. Luckily I won't be having a cake this year because I think I'm going to have a Brownie Delite! :D Does your cat get emotional? Our family doesn't like unemotional cats, especially when they let them dig out the flowers! One time when my dad was little, he found a cat that was always digging the flowers and he stole him and put him miles away from his home but later tha cat found its way back, and the police did nothing about the digging so later they killed him. They eventually kept stealing the cats and killing them. Later the owner had like three cats out of her twenty or something cats. Does your sister lie about you to get you in trouble? Bye for now!

Oh and I do want to be friends with you! It is good you don't like football that much because my dad thinks its a waste of time. "Football is a waste of time because A). when you watch it you only watch people get trampled and throwing a ball
B). If you play it you have eternal back problems etc. and you just get trampled over and throw a ball
C.) If you watch it at a real game then you waste five-hundred dollars for the whole family! You watch the same thing over and over.

That's good! The cat that lives in our neighborhood digs out our flowers and then scratches Buddy, our long-haired chihuahua! :( After that I didn't like many cats. :( There is one named Ozzy and he is so sweet. He followed us everywhere on our walk. He was even sweating and panting! :D I never saw a cat do that, we took a break for ozzy and later he felll down the sewer and he crawled up by himself and he was dyed blue on his fur and he isn' ours! Usually they are lazy is yours?

Yes, she is lazy! Maybe, she gets a lot of exercise because she is an outside cat. So, when I go outside she won't leave me alone! And she never stops meowing!!! It gets really annoying when you have the windows open. ;)

Now, I think I don't like my cat anymore! (she's really not mine, but my brother's)
I just watched her attack a baby chipmunk!!! I turned away from the screen door and told my brother to watch and see what happens. So of course, my brother goes into great detail about how the stupid cat killed it!

I HATE needles!!! Whenever I get a shot or something, I always look the other way! The funny thing is that while I get the shot, I dream of Auntie Ann's Pretzels! (sp wrong probably) They are pretzles that are sold at the mall where I live. Which is in Missouri in the US of A. By the way, how old are you? My favorite song is Ye ishq hai. It is indian. I do not have a favorite band. The song I think is the saddest is Tujhe Yaad na from the indian movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I don't listen to American Idol except for one, but I don't like very many songs from them. It is called Il Volo.

Also, thanks for chating with me! Guys who normally hear about my life story, never speak to me again unless nesscary. I've been told I'm really nice! I get all A's and I never really get in trouble by anyone except my mom.
I have really no idea what I want to be when I grow up! Do you? My sister says she is going to move to Alaska!!! I told her I would never ever visit her because it would just be too cold for me. So, she said if I never went to see her, I would never see my neices and nephews! Then I said I would visit because I just love little kids!
My sister is just 12 and is already planning her life! All I know is that I won't work at McDonalds and hopefully I will live in a small town with no Wal-Mart! I hate Wal-Mart because my dad used to work there and when I was little, a little girl was stolen from the Wal-Mart in my town and so I guess I'm prejuced.
Just in case your wondering, the little girl was never taken out of Wal- Mart because the person was captured! So, I'am happy about that. ;D

I hate Wal-Mart because my dad used to work there and when I was little, a little girl was stolen from the Wal-Mart in my town and so I guess I'm prejuced.
Just in case your wondering, the little girl was never taken out of Wal- Mart because the person was captured! So, I'am happy about that. ;D

Bud's Story: Intoduction
I am pretty much ten because my birthday is soon. I know I am really young. I love pretzals, I also like shots, I can't help it but I giggle when I get shots. I live in Georgia but I was born in Texas and two months after my birth we moved to N.C.(north Carolina) Then whenI was five or six we moved to Georgia. My sister thinks I'm dumb, and mean, but I'm only mean to her because she always punches me when I come in her room when she alows me to. I am sort-of smart I know what 2+2=... It = 5! Maybe C) Verterinarian science.
I want to be an owner of a zoo. I like chatting especially when I have friends! I do not want to marry when I am older, it is not because I'm a boy, but because, what is the point in that? I don't want children because it is hard to train them to say words and all that. Do you want to marry when your older? You should see my little sister, she also likes planning her life. Here is what she said...
Kristine(little sister) "When I'm older I want to marry a man"
Me: "No way"
Kristine:Yes, he will be a pilot, he will fly to the moon for me and get some cheese" "Then I'll run away from our home and marry a pastor"
Me: You can't divorce that is bad"
Kristine:"Oh, ThenI'll stay there"

Bud's Story: Intoduction
When I grow up, I do want to get married. But the catch is he will have to be a Christian. Oh yeah, and I do want kids. It's not really hard to get them to learn, but the hard part is watching them grow up and paying for stuff they need.
Your little sister sounds halirious (sp wrong)! When my brother tried pronouncing my name this is how it sounded, "Kaken". So, I hate it when he teases me about it! Then, last night we got a call from the doctor's office reminding us of a check up for me and this is how the computerized thing pronounces my name, "Ka-tell-in"! Life is so unfair!
Probably the scariest thing that ever happened to me was when I was on the Giant Barn Swing in Missouri! I went right over a river and into the tree tops! It was like a big swing with tons of people on it and you just go higher and higher! My mom cried and she wasn't even riding the stupid thing! Now, thankfully I didn't cry, I just vowed to never ride it again! :)

I am so stupid! I played outside and my sibilings and cousin and I were chasing each other. In the process, I tripped and twisted my ankle! I told them that next time we play outside, lets do something safer like, hid n seek! Sounds strange, but even though I'm 14 I love to play it!
Not just because I'm the best at it, hiding I mean, or that I'm always the last one found, etc etc. Okay yeah, I like it because I win. Thats not so bad is it?

Oh, I'm sorry about your garden and yeah, if you want to teach me, go ahead. Have you ever heard of Quack Dillie Elbow? When I was in elementary school, at recess, some girls and I would play. You sort of sit in a circle and do some other weird stuff.
Another thing I like to do is ride my bike! I lOVE to go FAST ! It's dangerous, I know, but I still do it anyway! My sister says she will never ride a bike (she doesn't know how) because she doesn't want to have "battle scars" on her knee caps like I do from accidents. She also says bikes are unstable! So, I told her that you have to balance yourself and your bike, but she won't even try! :(
I haven't really gotten into any major accidents, just stuff like skidding, having your bike tip over with you on it on the road, your bike pinning you to the ground. That sort of stuff. Do you ride a bike? If so do you like to go fast? Why? I like to go fast for the feeling of speed and control. No one is controling the bike, but me. The speed allows me to go faster than anything. Faster than time, faster than the sun comes up, faster than my sister eats (which is a world breaker), etc!

I used to have a bike but it got a flat tire... I loved going fast because then I could feel the air rushing through me! :D I haven't heard of the game Quack Dillie Elbow. Btw, you play out of bounds by making a small area out of bounds, the bounds is the rest of the area. One person is it and the close their eyes and then count then once they have counted they don't open their eyes but they follow noises and try to find the person, if you have played marco polo then you probaly understand. Then if they tag a person but he is out of bounds then they are safe but if the person tags a person who is in bounds then he is it. Also, if a person is it and then they say out of land, out of bounds or in the pool out of water,out of bounds then a person who is out of bounds is it, and if there are two people out of bounds then the first person to say me isn't it. :D

I think that Ian and Amy work perfectly, do you? Ian was mean, but ever since the third book when they kissed I hated it at first though... I wanted them to hook up again. Then in the tenth book he said he hadn't changed enough so now he really will try! I don't think that Evan is a Vesper but he might change into one or he is part of the third group Gordon was talking about in book two! What do you think about the questians?
P.S Gordon said he would ask the authors if they could make Amy and Ian DATE!!!!!!! :D

I totally agree with you!!! They do belong together!!! Seriously, I think that Ian is so jealous of Evan! Pretend Ian is saying this, "Because he stole your affections.". I can seriously imagine Ian saying that to Amy!
I also think your right about Evan too. He seems okay, but he seems to be easy to persuade (sp wrong?). So, I was thinking that even though Ian and Amy belong together, Dan and Natalie do not! I mean, Dan hates (maybe that's too strong of a word) the Kabras! Well, hopefully Ian and Amy do end up together in the books, but on the message board we are leaning more towards that they do end up together!
