Ok. So if you are here, you obviously found my post. If you don't know, I am the First Co-Head Manager of the JNA. I know that I haven't been posting much lately, but that's because I had to make a new account due to, er... Certain problems. Anyway, this is where we will talk about different strategies to promote our Section of the Janus Council. So far it's still pretty dead looking. Time to fix that!!

Okay. Heres what I have so far:
New position: Organizers. They will develop ideas from the Managers (Vice's included) and then submit them to an editing thread from the HM's. Then the HM's can fix what they want and the organizers can post it on an official thread for the Newbies.

his will be one of the many branches of the Janus Council. The other branches are more than welcome to re-use this idea. The JNA will help Janus Newbies around, and sort of guide them. Here are a few positions you may be in:

I have already posted some advertieements in some of the busier threads, and on the Cahill Weekly newspaper. If you could do some more advertising on the popular threads, and maybe some more newspapers (at least the ones that accept ads), that would be so awesome! But i you do post some ads, make sure you respect any branch only threads, because i dont want to start anymore branch problems. Thanks!:)

I was thinking that we could edit a position temporarily, maybe permanently. Because the JNA leaders can pretty much find newbies on their own, maybe we could make the informers so they tell the newbies about the JNA instead of telling the CO-HM's about the newbies. Then the helpers could pick/get their assignments from a Co-Hm or a vice-hm.

For this to work, i need all of you to imagine that the Helpers are tour guides. They will help the nebies by showing them certain "tourist points".
This is the first stop: A thread that explains many themes-a guide to mb terminology
-an explanation of the government systems on the board, along with a list of current leaders/VPs/important council members
Stop two: a chatroom thread where newbies can meet other newbies. This will also be advertised so that they will also meet other people.
Stop three: a tips and tricks thread explaing about sharing your card, how to make new threads, make eye-catching cards, how to add allies, etc.
Stop four: an uber awesome page with all known emoticons from all over the MB, and a siggy shop. The siggy shop will include cool fonts, fantastic quotes, and other eye-catching things.
Thats all ive got for now. What do you guys think? Would we need more positions for this? A research thread? Should we add/remove "tour stops"? Let me know. Thanks:)

Hey guys! I was just taking a look at other signature shops, and people were most of the time taking requests. So i was thinking that we could add a position or two for that. I was also thinking that the VP's could have another job.
As i was taking a look at council threads, the vp's have often said that their position seems kinda useless because the leaders dont take that many breaks. So, to avoid that, i was thinking that we could make The VP's in charge of the instructions thread of the JNA. (stop 1 i think(at least it should be) [whatever number it is, its the one where we answer questions). Then, since there is a possibility that two of the Vp's could be needed to fill in for the Co-Hm's, we could add another vice or something. Let me know what you think.

I will be finding someone to temporarily fill your position.(vps will do that) if you are gone for long enough, i will add another vice, and move the previous vice to your position a little more permanently. Awesome! Thanks Topaz! We should be able to get those running, it looks like most of them actually have people that signed up, so if we get the go-ahead to do that, we can just track down people to do it.
However, we cant start yet, because we havent cleared it with the council. I was hoping to do that before elections, but since the Janus Council hasnt had any meetings for a while, i havent gooten a response. We might have to wait for the next Council. Hopefully, we will have some of the people that are on there now on the next one, so then they will know what i am talking about when i ask them.(could you follow that? Kinda confusing now that i look back on it)
Anyway, for now lets just ieep doing our jobs for the JNA. We dont have to participate in these elections.

@Derreck~ Just a question. Are JNA members not allowed to sign-up? I know this is rediculus but I was thinking of maybe entering. What do you think?

@Topaz: You mean like in the elections? I am pretty sure you can if you want, but you would have to ask one of the leaders about that.
Or did you mean as the Third vice? Cause you could do that.
I think that there also might be a rep for the JNA in the elections. Not sure though.
