On a damp,dark hill lies a crumbling castle, and no body ever goes in or out. Bats flutter around the eroding turrets, creating a darker and gloomier atmosphere than there was before. When I was a child, I had dreadful nightmares about that castle, oh yes... I imagined skeletons with blood dripping from their eye sockets with shimmering swords, laughing and taunting me, and when they were just about to slice me into bitesze chunks, I would wake up in a dreadful sweat, screaming. It was only when I had learned I was a Madrigal that I had discovered that someone really did live in the castle - our greatest enemy, the Vespers. And now I was facing my worst nightmare - my first Madrigal mission was to go into that castle and eradicate the vespers. My name Lily Cahill-Vesper, and I am descended from both sides. But I will fight for good - but is killing your kin the way to gain peace?
