Divergent / Insurgent fans!! Have any of you read "Free Four"?
Hi Divergent / Insurgent fans! So, I found this thing online called "Free Four"; it's a scene written by Veronica Roth in Four/Tobias's POV. Veronica Roth chose to write the scene when Tobias throws those knives at Tris during Dauntless initiation (when Tris stepped up to take Al's place at the target board when Eric was making Al stand at the board). It's kinda short, but really good :) During Divergent and Insurgent I was always wanting to read something on Tobias's POV so I was glad I found this, and written by Veronica Roth herself! So, I read it on Facebook, but you can try Googling it to see where you can read it. Tell me what you think!

I've never seen it, but I LOVE the books!!! And I have always wanted to read something in Tobias's POV too. :)
I'll look around for it.
And may I ask, Whats your fav scene in the book?

@Chloe: hmm my favorite scene? I loved when Tris and Tobias went through Tobias's fear landscape. I felt loike we got to know Tobias better and understand him a little more. I think that's the only one that comes to mind right now as a favorite, although I loved the whole book and there were many other scenes I really enjoyed too, like when Tris became the "first jumper" the first day after the Choosing Ceremony. It was her first show of defiance and bravery in front of her fellow initiates and I think that was the beginning of a change in her. What about you?

Hi. I'm glad I saw this because I didn't know about Free Four. I read it and it was awesome to see his POV. It helps me to see him in a more complete way instead of just how Tris sees him. Thanks, Carla!

@Carla The scene where they go into Tobias's 'fear landscape' has to be my favorite as well. I also like how when Tobias was under the control of that... stuff. (Sorry, It's been a while since I read it.) But when Tris fights him and he snaps out of it. To me it showed that he cared for her, even though he was under the influence of the stuff, and was able to restrain himself.

@George: it was good, huh? I felt bad when he said his instructor (what was his name? Amar?) had been murdered though.. I don't know why but I felt like he would have made an awesome character.
@Chloe: oh yeah that scene was awesome too! It reminded me of THG (have you read The Hunger Games?) when Peeta has been poisoned with Tracker Jacker venom and tries to strangle Katniss... BTW, I keep seeing this common mistake around the MB: you have a quote in your sig that says "Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing that again", you forgot to put the CAPTAIN in front of Jack Sparrow. It's Captain Jack Sparrow!

@Chloe: yeah there were several similarities between THG and Divergent, like the Tobias/Peeta strangling Tris/Katniss, the fact that they're 16, rebellions etc.

these books are SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. my 20 year old cuz showed it to me and ive been hooked. cant put the book down. Im on Insurgent. better than hundegr games
