Hello fellow Cahills! =) This is a new story about Janus triplets and the adventures, sticky situations, and people they encounter! Here are the characters you'll read about in the first chapter:
Characters:
Emily- 15 yrs old, random, crazy (in a good way), adventurous, triplet of Liz and David.
Liz- 15 yrs old, funny, optimistic, clever, triplet of Emily and David.
David- 15 yrs old, sarcastic, slightly hot-headed, hilarious, triplet Emily and Liz.
Hailey- 10 yrs old, inquisitive, younger sibling of Emliy, David, and Liz.
Carter- 7 yrs old, very artsy, younger sibling of Emliy, David, and Liz.

Nice, I'm posting the first chapter. Oh well... I have time to post.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up to my brother David and my sister Liz jumping on my bed.
"EMZZ!!!!! GET UP!!!!!!" David shouted, and I groaned. I placed my extra pillow against my ear, and tried to get some more sleep. They both sighed.
"Oh well, guess you can't meet Jonah Wizard then," Liz sighed, and I threw the covers off myself and literally jumped up.
"I'm up!!!" I shouted, and they both laughed.
"Everytime," I muttered, but we laughed.
"Get dressed!!! We'll be late for school!!!!" Liz shouted, and I shoo'ed them out of my room. I locked my door, and went to my closet. I looked through my closet... Our school wasn't a uniform school, so we could wear whatever we want. I grabbed my favourite brown boots out of my closet. My boots went all the way up to my knees. I grabbed my black guess jeans and a guess brown shirt and got dressed. I rushed to the bathroom, got my hairbrush out and quickly brushed my hair. My hair is super straight naturally so I didn't need to straighten my hair. I put a black head-band on and was ready. I ran downstairs, going down the steps two at a time, and ran into the kitchen. My school bag, was with my younger brother Carter...AND HE WAS LOOKING THROUGH IT!!!!
"CARTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted, and he turned around in shock. He started running around the kitchen, till I cornered him.
"Bag, now," I demanded, and he gave my bag back. I smiled victoriously, and went to make myself breakfast.
"Hey Emzz," my mum, Isabella, greeted me, holding pancakes in a plate.
"Hey mum," I greeted her, giving a kiss on the cheek, and took a pancake off the plate. I joined Liz and David at the dining table.
"Wow, you got ready quickly," David said, and I stuck my tongue at him. See, since we're triplets, we're really close.
"Impressed? I'm just so awesome!!!" I shouted, and did a backflip.
"WHAAAAA?!" David and Liz asked me.
"Oh yeah, your looking at the captain of the cheerleading team!!!" I shouted, and they groaned. "Just kidding, you really think that I would join those losers?"
"Oh thank god! I thought we lost our sister for a second!" Liz shouted, and I hugged her.
"Never. I learnt the move ages ago on our camp training thing... Why did we go there anyways?" I asked them. A couple of months ago, our parents signed us up for this special camp, where we learn to use arrows and bows, rock-climbing, etc.
"Who knows. You need to ask mum and dad that," David replied.
"Hey guys!!!!" our 10-year-old sister Hailey said, rushing to the dining table. She was so cute! But we needed to get to school.
"Hailey, grab your stuff!!! We need to get to school!!!" David said, and Carter and Hailey ran to their rooms to get their school bags. Even though we're 1 year younger than we are supposed to be for driving, we still drive.
"I'm driving to school today!!!" I shouted, grabbing the keys.
"Shot gun!!!" Liz shouted, leaving David to be in the back with the little kids. It's always chaos at the back, and David, groaned.
"NO!!!! I CAN'T BE IN THE BACK!!!!" David shouted, and Liz and I ran to my car. It was a Mazda CX9, 7 seater. My mum came running out of the house, telling me I took the wrong keys.
"Oops... I knew that," I said, and my mum laughed.
"Have a good day at school!!!!" my mum shouted, and I hugged her. I entered the driver's seat, Liz entered the passangers seat and David took everyone's bags to the last two seats, so there's more room where we seat. David, Carter and Hailey entered the back three seats, and there was fighting for who got which seat.
"HEY!!" I shouted, and all three turned around.
"David, left side of the car. Hailey, right side and Carter in the middle!!!" I demanded, and that's how they sat. I put my seatbelt on and heard the other clicks from the others. I put the car into ignition and then reverse. I drove out of the driveway, and head towards Hailey's and Carter's primary school. It was quiet the whole way there, but nce we reached their primary school, I parked a block away and the three people in the back got out. David gave Hailey's and Carter's bags to them, and they waved us goodbye. David then got back inside the car in the middle seat. That's when the chatter started.
"I can't believe Emzz fell for the Jonah thing AGAIN," Liz laughed.
"I know!!!! Seriously Em, your so gulliable," David and Liz kept on telling me off, and I rolled my eyes, focusing on my driving. Who knew that, when we reached school, our lives will be changed forever...

David
Emily parked the car, and we went in. Emily and Liz immediatly ran to their best friend, Kim, and went into what I like to call, the Justin Direction. It's when they talk for almost five minutes about Justin Bieber and 1D without taking one breath. Seriously. I've timed Emily. She can go nine minutes straight on it. By the end, I'm always either alseep, or re-reading The Lost Hero in my head, whereas Liz is dreamily staring, like Zayn is going to jump out of Emily's mouth.
I walked over to my locker, and met up with my best friends, Cade and Briana. It's mostly by chance that we met, because we don't seem like people who you would expect each of us to have as best friends. Cade is a short, high voiced ladies man. And the crazy thing is that, even though they all know he's gonna break up with them, the girls still go out with him. He's a pretty well-known guy, and he plays football, a sport that I will not play if my life depends on it. Mostly because if my life depends on it, I'll fail, and die. :( Briana is tall, like me, and really nice, giving second chances to really mean people. But she's also a litle competitive, and she can run really fast. I can always beat her, of course, but we're always sweating and gasping at the end of the daily fourth mile. She and Cade have bright bue eyes, and light brown hair. Mine is darker, and I have hazel eyes. Briana plays basketball, like me, but she's way better. I am pretty normal, really pale in the winter, and dark tan in the summer. I play soccer and basketball, and love Maroon 5. I talked with them for the fifteen minutes we have before classes, and then went to first period, Science. I groaned.
But anyway. My day went pretty normal. At least, it started that way. Then Coach Harding blew up the gym. He'd always struck me as a normal guy. Ran us pretty hard, but only because he had an extreme phobia of being fat. He's scared of elephants and blue whales. I feel bad fr the guy. So, I'm famished. It's fourth period and I need lunch, so I tell myself, "Let's get this over with," and start running.
But when I'm about to get the lead from Briana, Coach yells, "STOP!" and tells everyone to come over to him. When we all sit down, he pulls Emily, Liz, and I into his office. We look at each other, exchanging mental thoughts.
What did you do?, I glare at Emily, and Liz joins in the interrogation.
I honestly don't know! This stinks. I'm in trouble for some awesome pranks someone else did, and I didn't even get to see it, Emily says.
Liz and I roll our eyes, and Liz sends us, I? More like We!!! Why are David and I here?
We shrug, and turn our attension to Coach Harding. He's staring at us, like we're a problem that needs to be dealt with. I see his vein nearly coming out of his head, and I imagine him wearing an eye patch, and stroking a cat, and when we all three burst out laughing, I know we all imagined it.
"SHUT UP!!" Coach screams, and we stop laughing and take a step back. "I'm SICK and TIRED of you CAHILLS winning EVERYTHING! Well, I'm done with it now. And SO ARE YOU!!!" he shouts, presses a button on some remote thing, and the wall that is between Coach's office and the cafetteria exploded.
The impact sent Liz and Emily flying through the door. I was smashed against the wall, and fell to the ground. I quickly got up, and a horrible sight comes to my eyes. Coach Harding is laughing like a crazy lunatic, and has a weird look in his eyes. Another part of the wall explodes, and it creates a fire, and a huge hole in the ground. Coach lost his balance, and fell in.
"COACH!" I yell, and put my hand out, but I'm too late. He's gone. Another explosion goes off, and I run out of the office. I pull the fire alarm, and I shout, "Get out of here!" and Liz, Emily, and I herd everyone out.
As we are running out of the school, Liz and Emzz look at me. What's going on?
I don't know, I tell them.

AWESOME DAVID!!!!!!! I LOVE the 'Justin Direction' thing. My brother literally timed me on how much I can talk about them.... 20 minutes straight!!!!!! :P. It's crazy!!!! And I was right about the pizza? :O. I didn't know I was a sidekick!!!!! I COULD add that in the prophecy. I got to go, Men In Black 3 is about to start! That's right, I'm at the movies using my mum's Internet on her iPhone onto my iPod :P. I rule!!!! But yeah, THAT EXPLOSION CAN'T TOUCH MY CAR!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR LIZ'S TURN!!!!!! @ David- *Reads the 'like Zayn is gonna jump out of Emily's mouth* *Grins like crazy*. How'd you know I liked Zayn? :P. Don't worry, I know I mentioned him a million times :). And the Internet thingie. You grab someone's iPhone, turn on Personal Hotspot in the settings, turn on their and your Bluetooth, find their iPhone in your iPod once you turned on Bluetooth!!! It might tell the iPhone 'do you wish to connect to ________ (your iPod). Then you have to choose yes. Tada!!!! It works!!!! You should have their iPhone's Internet and a blue chain should appear on the top left hand corner (with two chains connected). Now you have Internet!!!!! :P.

Liz's POV
We sat on the curb of the sidewalk in front of our school. While we waited for our mom to pick us up I looked at the mess around us. The gym was still smoldering. Kids were being treated for minor injuries. The flashing lights from the ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars were casting a strange glow on the building. We got to our feet as a familiar blue minivan pulled up. Our mom got out and rushed over, pulling us into a giant bear hug.
"Mom!" I could barely David's muffled voice. "You're...squishing...us...!" David's voice was muffled.
"Need...to...breathe...!" Emily added. Our mom let us go, and we all breathed deeply. She looked around, and went into angry mom mode.
"Are you all okay?!"
"Mom..."
"What happened here?!"
"Mom..."
"Who did this?!"
"Mom!"
"I'm going to have a serious talk with your principal!"
"MOM!" We all shouted.
"What?"
"We're fine!" I insisted.
"It was an accident." Emily explained.
"Yeah, a gas leak!" David added. Once we had our mom convinced, we drove home, us in our car and mom in her's.

Later that night I was laying in bed when I heard the quiet squeek of my door opening. I sat up and looked across the room at Emily's bed. Her eyes were wide, but she held a finger to her lips. Instantly I noticed what she had; A shadow moving straight towards me. Emily was noiselessly slipping out of her bed and behind the shadowy figure. Before the intruder could take another step, Emily was on his back clawing and punching like her life depended on it.
"Aaaaagh!" The intruder's cry sounded strangled. Emily wrestled him to the ground, held his hands behind his back, and sat down on top of him.
"Ugh, Emily! Get your bony butt off my back!"
"What?!" Emily gasped. I leaned over and flipped on my lamp.
"David?!" I whispered. Emily jumped up, covering her mouth in surprise. "What are you doing?"
"I was trying to talk to you guys!" David sat up, rubbing the left side of his face, which had scratch marks. "I guess I got more than I bargained for!"
"What is so imporstent that you had to interupt my beauty sleep?" Emily demanded.
"This." David said, pulling a small book out of his pocket. He handed it to me and I looked at the cover. It only had two words, one of which I had heard for the first time earlier that day. Janus-Cahill.
David- Lol, I like Liam, not Zayn! XD
Emzz- I don't think there is a single person on this planet who doesn't know how much you like Zayn! XD

"Uhhhh. Guys, I gotta tell you something," I said, and they all looked at me suspisiously. "You guys all know how much I'm obsessed with reading, right?"
"Yeah, why?" Liz asked.
"Today, in the afternoon, I slipped away and went to my favourite book store."
"The one in the city? Dymocks?" David asked.
"Yeah, that one. I was looking through the wide collection of books and stumbled across this....book. It's called 'The 39 Clues'."
"What's so special about this book?" Liz asked. David and Liz weren't exactly 'the reading type' as much as I am. I've read all the Harry Potter collection AND Lord of the Rings book twice in 2 weeks. Them? Just read the Lord of the Rings in one week.
"This book," I started to quietly walk to my room to fetch the book. Liz and David followed quietly behind me. "It had 'Cahill' in it."
"It could be just a coincidence," David suggested, but I knew there was something behind it.
"It isn't just a coincidence David," I hissed, walking to my bookshelf. It was nearly full. I love reading books, fanfics, it's just part of my life. I grabbed the 'The 39 Clues' book from my bookshelf, and handed it to Liz so they can see for themselves. They examined the book, and it had a blue cover and it said 'Book One'.
"There are more?" David asked.
"This is the first series book. There's a second series to it," I explained.
"Well, just new books to read. How does this book have to do with this book?" David asked, holding out the Janus = Cahills book and my book.
"I've read the book-"
"Today? THE WHOLE THING?" Liz and David hissed.
"Shhhhhh," I told them, putting a finger to my lips. "It has both Cahill and Janus."
"Coinci-"
"It's not a coincidence David," I interrupted him.

"I looked at the book, and literally my body wasn't fuctioning the way it was supposed to. My hand just simply reached out for it even though I didn't want to. I bought it then, since it was like it was stuck to me," I shrugged. "I have to buy the rest of the series so we can all read them."
"Sure, but for now, let's check out the book David brought," Liz suggested, and we nodded. David and I sat down on my bed while Liz closed the door. Liz joined us while I turned on my reading light beside my bed. It lit up my room a little and we all took a deep breath.
"David, you can open it," I said, and he nodded. He flipped open the first page, and we started reading.

"Okay, I found this book in the bassement. It was behind a bunch of the suitcases, and the books Emily refuses to throw away," I whispered to them. we literally had to blow the dust off of the first page.
"Cahill Family Tree - Janus," Liz read the first page. We flipped it again, and found the Family tree.
"Gideon and Olivia Cahill, had four kids; Thomas, Luke, Katherine, and Jane," I read.
"Hey! those names are in my book! It isn't clear yet, but it seems that these four children got in a fight, right after a fire that burned down their house. Then they ran off and formed four branches. Luke founded the Lucians, Katherine, the Ekaterina, Thomas, the Tomas," Here she stopped at our puzzled looks, "He wasn't the brightest. And Jane founded the Janus Branch. This book must show the descendants of Jane!" Emily said, and we all grinned.
Over the next hour, we looked through each page, and found people like Mozart, and Beethoven. When we got to the end, we were shocked by the last name written.
"Robert Jones," we read at the same time. That was our grandfather. We looked at each other.
"The Janus- Their real?" I said, shocked.
"And we're part of them," Liz finished.
The next day, school was closed by the police for investigation, so I drove Hailey and Carter to school.
"Why don't you guys have to go to school?" Carter whined. I rolled my eyes.
"For the fifth time, Carter! Our school blew up!" I shouted. Hailey giggled.
"That sounds so cool!" She said. I mentally smacked my face, and didn't say another word for the rest of the way.
"Bye," I said, and they got out.
When I got back home, Emily and Liz came out.
"There are guests coming, " Liz said.
"Who," I asked.
Then Emily answered with the most unexpected sentence ever... Expected.

@ Liz and Smriti- ARE YOU GUYS CRAZY?!?!?!??!! ZAAAAYNNNN ISSSS WWAAAAAYYYYY HOTTTERRRRR!!!!!!!!!! My friend loves Liam though :P. My best friend loves Harry :D. I love Zayn, so it works out perfectly. SO ZAYN IS HOTTER, FULL STOP!!!!!!!! So Jonah? Ok, but I was planning 1D and Justin. Oh well, this is perfect also *people look at me* *turns red from embarrasment*. Here it is.... But now I'm nervous for Liz's chapter!!

"JONAH WIZARD IS COMING TO OUR HOUSE!!!!!!! EEEEKKKKK!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!" I shouted, and kept on jumping up and down.
"Wow... For once, we won't be lying when we say he's over," David stuck his tongue out at me, and I blushed like crazy.
"C'mon!!!! I NEED TO GET READY!!!!! Need to find the perfect outfit," I said, and David's eyes went humongous!!! Almost if they were about to fall off his head.
"NOOOOO!!!!!! Wardrobe plus girls equals NEVER ENDING TORTURING PAIN!!!!!" David shouted, and I laughed evily. I ran towards David and he tried to run away from me by entering the car and locking himself in it. Me? I have a spare keys of my OUR car. I unlocked the car and opened the car door. I reached in and literally dragged David out of the car. Liz comes up and picked him up from the ankles. I closed the car door, locked our car and picked up David by the arms.
"AAARRGGHHH!!!!! LEMME GO!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! I DERSERVE TO LIVE!!!!!!!" David kept shouting, trying to claw, punch the air, and Liz and I laughed evilily.
"What have you done to poor Liz??!?! She was all sweet and innocent!!!! NOW SHE'S AS EVIL AS YOU!!!!! No wonder you got the part as the Evil Queen in the Snow White production!!! YOUR SO EVIL!!!!!" David shouted, and Liz and I just laughed.
"She's my partner in crime," I said, sticking my tongue out.
We walked inside, and my mum looked at us like we were lunatics while doing the dishes.
"They told you huh?" Mum asked David. See, I have THE AWESOMEST mum IN THE WORLD. Most mum's, when they see their daughters or sons caring their siblings, they'll go all full rampage at their kids. Our mum? Asks if Liz and I have told him about Jonah.
"Yes. HELP!!!!!" David shouted, reaching out for mum.
"Good luck dear, you'll need it," mum replied, smiling. David's eyes went so big, as big as my massively wide grin.
"I have an awesome mum," Liz and I both said, while David shouted out, "HELP ME MUM!!!! THEY'RE GONNA DESTROY ME WITH BOREDOM!!!!!"
Mum looked at us and said, "but I'm doing the dishes."
"Crazy mum," Liz, David and I all said, and we all laughed.
Liz and I heaved David up the stairs into my room. Liz and I both threw David on my bed and I went to lock my door. David pretended to sob and actually starts praying to the lord.
"Dear God, please, in any way, help me out of this situation!!! Amen," David prayed, and Liz threw a cushion at him. David rolled to his side and we all laughed.
"So, clothes," I said, walking to my walk-in closet. David groaned while Liz smiled. "I need something that makes me seem cute, but Jonah came from utter surprised so I didn't get dolled up."
"You don't have that kind of clothing," David said, and I raised my eyebrows at him.
"I may be a nerd, BUT I LOVE SHOPPING," I shouted, running into the closet. I picked some stuff out at random and mixed and matched them. First, I tried on blue shorts, brown boots with high heels and a short, flowey top. I walked outside, but they shook their heads. I groaned, as I went back inside. For my second choice, I wore black flats, the same blue shorts, a gold bracelet that had 'Emily' on it, a black hat which had polka dots, a plain pink shirt with no sleeves that was a bit too long for me and a 'E' necklace. I walked, strikeing a pose. David nodded, while Liz shook his head. They started fighting so loudly, mum walked in.
"What happened?" Mum asked.
"Should Emzz wear this or not?" David asked.
"Nope, it's too flashy," my mum said, and Liz smiled in triumphant.
"I TOLD YOU!!!!!" Liz shouted at David, and David stuck his tongue out. I rolled my eyes at them playfully, and went back into my walk-in closet. I once again closed my doors and wore my final outfit I mixed and matched. I again placed the brown boots on and still wore the short shorts. I put on a no sleeved pinkish-whitish top that runned all the way down just a little above my knees, another short thrown over that went up till my stomach that had a flower pattern on it, a jeans jacket with no sleeves and the buttons were yellow and huge and I took off the bracelet and hat and left the 'E' necklace. I walked outside, doing a little twirl on the spot, and put my hands up in a 'you like it' position. Both Liz and David nodded.
"This is the one," they both said, and a humongous smile went across my face. I ran back inside my closet and put away all my clothes. I walked out of my closet, and slid my mirror's closed (they were the doors). I joined Liz and David on my bed.
"Massive nerd, but a charming nerd," Liz said, and I playfully pushed her, and she pushed me back. We broke into laughter. Suddenly, a taxi pulled up at our house, and we were all confused when Jonah Wizard stepped out of the taxi.
"Awwww, I wanted to ride in his limo!!!" David whinned, and Liz rolled her eyes. I looked at both of them, wide eyed.
"What are you guys still doing here?" I asked them.
"What?" they both asked.
"GO GREET JONAH!!!!!" I shouted at them.
"Why not you?" David asked.
"I don't want to seem like a crazied fan!!!"
"But you are," Liz pointed out.
"Uhhh, I, umm, OH WHATEVER, JUST GO!!!!" I shouted, having nothing else to say. "Oh, and call me as if to say I was busy in my room doing homework or something," I told them before I pushed them outta my room and closed the door.
"Bossy pants," I heard Liz say, and I smiled. After all, I am the Evil Queen :P.
