Nina Jacobson, Catching Fire producer, spoke to 24 Frames of the LA Times at the MTV Movie Awards and says the casting for Finnick Odair is still wide open. “That’s the thing that’s crazy — people are like way ahead of where we are,” Nina Jacobson told website, hungergamesmovie on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards 2012 “We’ve not narrowed things down by any means. It’s funny to see how things can take on a life of their own.” Who do you think should be cast as Finnick?
‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Arena to be Filmed in Kauai, Hawaii
For a while there have been rumours that the Quarter Quell in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be shot in Hawaii. News reporter Russ Bowen, has revealed via Twitter that the Arena scenes will be shot on Kauai, a Hawaiian island. The plan as of now is to film in Kauai the final three weeks of production. What do you think?

Jeff Snieder of Variety has reported via Twitter that Philip Seymour Hoffman was recently presented the role of Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” There are no reports to say that he has accepted the roll yet. Do you think he is the right guy for the role?

So there have been some rumours going around that ‘Suckerpunch’ actress, Jena Malone is in the running for Johanna!
Fingers crossed we might have some casting announcements very soon!
What are your thoughts on Jena?
I hope she doesn't get the role. She DOES NOT look like how I imagined Johanna to look.
