I watched it. *shivers* Some parts are strange you know what I mean? At the end the Phantom gets the girl and the other boy get another girl. -_-

I LOVE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!! But not the movie! I love Phantom of the Opera At The Royal Albert Hall 25th Anniversary!!!!! It's waaaaaay better in my opinion!! look it up on youtube!!!! =D I can't choose a favorite song, cause I love 'em all!!!! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *screeching* THAT IS LIKE, TOTALLY MY NEW FAV MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We watched a little of it on the last few days of school in choir, and I decided to rent it. IT. WAS. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially obsessed with it now. I sing the songs all the time (and I sound better now than when I just started singing them) and look them up to listen to. When I went to camp this past week, I met a counselor who could sing opera, and I begged her to sing some songs from the Phantom of the Opera. She did, and she was one of my favorite counselors in two seconds. :D

Hey guys! Just wondering--- am I the only nerd (Not that you guys are nerds) who has watched a ton of old-time movies and TV shows and liked them?
Have you guys ever watched----
- It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
- The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934)
- The Wizard of Oz (1939, but I think everyone's seen it)
- Little House on the Prairie (1970's - 1980's)
-I Love Lucy (?????)
-Bonanza (????)
So yeah. These films and shows are old, but if you watch them you'll love them! They're pretty cool!

CS3- No, you're not the only 'nerd', but I'm more of a book nerd than a TV/movie nerd. I've read Little House on the Prairie dozens of times (no kidding here), the entire Anne of Green Gables series multiple times, and a whole bunch of other classics like The Secret Garden and Black Beauty at least once, and probably more. :D So I am the book nerd!!!!!!!! :D :D :D BOOK NERDS UNITE!!!!!!!!!!
Oh people!!!! I watched Cats last night and it was AWESOME!!!!! I LOVED the singing, dancing, and costumes. They were EPIC!!!!!!!!!! I like how the plot is very loose, so it's just a bunch of backstories tied into one big plot which actually comes together (not much, but it does). What's funny is, I watched right before I went to bed and in the morning, I woke up to them playing in my head!!!!!! Magical Mr. Mistoffeles is STILL stuck in my head, along with Memories and Jelical (that's probably not how it's spelled) Cats. Who else has seen that movie???? If you haven't, I DEFINITELY recommend it. :)
One thing I noticed is the music has that faint Phantom of the Opera resemblance. My mom and I were discussing it last night, and we agreed that the music has a resemblance, even though they are very different. :)
DEFINITELY WATCH IT!!!!!!!!! :D

I first watched the phantom of the opera (The newer one made in 2004) when I was 10, and 4 years later it's still my fav. movie (tied with THG)!!!! My favorite song is All I Ask of You, especially the end when the phantom comes out and sings and he's all upset and it changes to doom music. However, the book confused me and was very hard to follow.
At any given point you have the power to say "This is NOT how my story is going to end."
You are too smart to be the only thing standing in your own way.

Thank you all for posting! I thought I was the only one who liked it! I took personality quizzes with this and I ALWAYS got the phantom. By the way I am a book and movie nerd, I like old movies and I am EXTREMELY obsessed with this movie and bought the book and delux soundtrack today!

Omg, guys Friday night my friend said that I sleep talked. I do do it kinda often so I warned her and told her not to get scared. That morning she said when I sleep talked it scared her 'cause I was quiet for a long time but, she said that all of a sudden I blurted out,"PHANTOM!,*gaspgasp* HOT!". How cool is that! After that I was the happiest girl in the world. P.S. I had a dream and it like was the music of the night, the exact same setting, the boat(cause it was the Phantom of the Opera, too), and best of all...THE PHANTOM!!! (he's so hot...*drools*) The only difference was..I was Christine!

I love that movie! I used to watch it all of the time when I was younger but I don't know what happened to it. My parents and older sister saw the play in Vegas a few years back and I wish I had gone. My favorite song is probably angel of music btw what are all of the songs. I remember most of them but not the one she sings in the graveyard or the one that the one guy sings to her. I used to know every word to every song but I hardly remember it anymore. Does anyone like les miserables? I love the song on my own and castle on a cloud but I've never heard the whole story all the way through :/ well I need to watch phantom now but I just found out that my sister lent it to her old friend and she never gave it back :( oh well movies are so cheap on DVD right now cuz of all of the electronic ways to get it instantly.

GAAH! I REALLY wanted to watch Phantom of the Opera!! At this camp I went to this summer one of the weekend options was a trip to NYC to go watch Phantom in Broadway. I put it as my first option but I didn't get to go :( I WILL watch it some day!
@CycloneStorm3: I've watched a liiiitle bit of "Little House on the Praire" and I watched "Wizard of Oz" (1939) too! I love old movies! Did you watch Casablanca? I know it's super famous but I personally didn't like it much.

Wow its hard to find people who know or even like the phatnom of the opera! My fave songs are past the point of no return and mascrade. When I was little my sister Kelsey and I would battle who could sing like Christine at nap time by singing "Think of me". :)
