Here is how to do the alt codes for computers and laptops.....
Computer:
1. On Num Lock.
2. Press alt and a number in the Numbers that are written like a square.
3. Enjoy
Laptop:
1. Press FN and NmLk
2. Then when you press U, it will become 4, etc.,. Look at the small numbers at the downer right.
3. Press alt and any letter with the small number at the bottom.
4. Enjoy
5. To close it. Press Fn and NmLk.
Computer:

To do the top ones (like the faces, hearts, etc) you have to put your Num. Lock on. Each of those have a code, like 2678, you hold down Alt while your Num lock is on and it should show up. Try searching for alt codes on Google or something like it. It will tell you all kinds of alt codes

I'll teach you guys how!
First, you make sure num lock is on; then you hold down Alt, then, while you're holding down alt,punch in a few numbers, then take your fingers off the keys.
For example: † is alt + 0134
You can test different combinations to find different symbols!
± is alt + 753
⌠ is alt + 7412
Of course, somtimes you punch the codes in and it gives you a different symbol, that's probably because your alt-key shortcuts depend on your keyboard. And which alt-keys lead to different symbols for your computer; or, you just need to type the code in again, and it leads you to the symbol you want; it just depends on what type of keyboard you have.
å is alt + 134
╚ is alt + 456
§ is alt+ 789
■ is alt + 4862
├ is alt + 963
╞ is alt + 1478
etc.

@Angela/Operative Explorer: You could press fn and NmLk and 7,8,9 will be the same, U will become 4, I will become 5. So on and so forth. Just press alt and a random combination code.
