Seven quests will be given,all be part of one. The most difficult of any yet, for Zeus fears it is risky, for 27 heroes is many.
Do not succeed and they will have to descend, to the place where the darkness never seems to end.
Collect the items on the list that was given, to save all heroes from eternal prison.

@Abby- I like it, just, some parts don't flow right. There is too much information on the first line. The point of the prophecy was that the demigods needed to prove to Zeus that they weren't just trouble-magnets by going on seven of the most dangerous quests ever completed. And by many heroes, I meant the number of demigods had grown a lot so there were a lot of demigods at camp so Zeus was getting nervous. I'm sorry! This is my honest opinion, so I hope I haven't hurt your feelings. So sorry if I have!

It's pretty early I think to myself as I am packing my pack and preparing to go on the quest for the Hydra Scales. I think back to the previous night and how I became apart of the quest.
I am eating my dinner a bowl of instant ramen shrimp soup when my old friend Rad Schord walks up to the Hermes Table. "Hey Kevin I need to talk to you." He says and walks away I look at my dinner shrug my shoulders, take whats left and dump it into the fire as an offering to my father Hermes and walks after Rad. "You heard about the prophecy right?" He asks when I nod my head he goes on to say, "Ok, how would you like to help me find the Hydra Scales?" He asks and I look off into the distance and when I realize that I am staring at my half sister Cali and my other half siblings who are sitting around the Hermes table I abruptly look away.
"Hydra Scales you said?" I ask and not waiting for an answer. "Yeah I'll go on this quest of yours Rad, I haven't faced off with a Hydra yet."

Lainey's POV
In my dream, I am standing at the edge of a cloud and I can see New York City far below me. A woman's voice spoke behind me.
"Lainey," she says. I spin around.
"Mom?" I ask, seeing the tall, beautiful woman with long blonde hair and stormy gray eyes.
"Yes, dear." She answers with a small smile. "I need to speak with you about your companions on this quest." I roll my eyes.
"Mom, I'm taking Izzy whether you like it or not! She's my closest friend and she IS going with me." I say. Athena presses her lips tightly together.
" Lainey, you know how I feel about that girl. She's too rebellious. She's a bad influence." Athena explains. I take a deep breath.
"She is my best friend. She is going." I say, unwavering. Athena sighs.
"I'm not going to change your mind, am I?" She asks. I shake my head.
"Well, then, I give you a warning. Remember what matters most. Never lose sight of your goals. If you fail, all heroes will be sentenced to eternal imprisonment in the Underworld. Do not fail." Athena begins to fade and the dream shatters into a billion pieces of razor sharp light.

I sit up abruptly in bed, breathing heavily. My mind is moving quickly. What might I run into on this quest that would make me forget my goals? I get up and dress in my favorite white jean shorts and my orange camp t-shirt. Last day before the quests. Last day to choose my final companion. I was thinking of asking Astrid, or Star, Cameo. She would have a lot to offer on this quest and who knows? Maybe she'd even discover who her godly parent is.
I head down to the dining pavilion for breafast, which is easy-over eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. I sit with my cabin-mates and I chat with Lexi about Zeus's motives for this whole 'Complete the ancient quests or face eternal imprisonment' thing. We think he might just be looking for a way to kill some of us off, but we're going to complete the quests all the same.
I go to the swordplay arena next and battle a automaton dragon replica of Ladon, the dragon guarding the golden apples. Then I walk back to my cabin to spend the rest of the afternoon pouring over old maps and documents about the golden apples and the Hesperides. I knew that Hercules convinced Atlas to get the apples for him while he held up the sky, but I don't think Atlas would fall for the same trick twice. We needed a new tactic.

It's about a half-hour before dinner when I then decide to go find Star. She's practicing archery when I approach her.
"Hey, Star! Nice shot!" I say as she shoots a perfect bulls-eye. She smiles.

"Hey, I just wanted to ask if you want to come with Izzy and I on the quest for the golden apple?" I offer.

All of her other cabin mates had falled asleep with no trouble, they were all tired from the game of capture the flag that night. It had been the most exiting,bloody and intence game yet. Ashlyn thought "forget about it" she told herself "you won't be in it, you are never in them" Ashlyn didn't know how wrong she was. The front door to the big house opend and Ashlyn ran back to her cabin. She lay in bed and thought about what she had just heard until she fell asleep.
The next morning Chiron made the announcment " after breakfast would all head councelers meet me at the big house. The rest of you may continue with your regularly scheuled activities. Dismissed" Ashlyn went back to the cabin to wait. There was only one thing this could be about, the prophecy. Ashlyn waited ancciousley for Vannessa to return. It was about an hour and a half later when she returned. "What was that about? Is it another prophecy?" Ashlyn asked as soon as Vannessa walked in." Hold your horses Ashlyn. Yes it was another prophecy and Chiron wants you to meet him at the big house. No more questions just go " Vannessa said. Ashlyn half walke half ran to the big house.

Vanessa's POV
There was an anouncement in the morning. "Vanessa please report to Cafrion." I jumped out of bed and looked a Curburus. "Come on boy!" I said. The anouncement came back "And don't bring your dog." I frwoned. Cerburus had been everwhere with me since I was two. "Try not to eat anybody." I said then smiled as I walked out the room.

I couldn't belive it! "YES! IM GOING BACK HOME!!!!!!" I yelled. Chafrion gave me a look "You don't like it hear?" I quietly said "no" He was shocked "Whats not to like?" I could think of a lot of things "I haven't made freinds, I suck at all the activivties, nobdy here likes me,-" I was cut off "I will make sure you have freinds." I thought about it. My freinds were Url and Curburus. Some list. I nodded. "Now do you want to go on a quest." I looked at him like are you kidding me "I don't think my daddy will alow it." Sudently the fire in the room grew huge. My daddy was trying to comunicate with us the fire spoke "She is right. There is no way I am leting my little girl one a quest." I frowned "I can handle it." I said. "You cant." he replied. "I am going on a quest. Like it or not." I said befor esngishing the fire. "I will take the minitour ring quest." "alright" he said. As I walked out to go pack he siad "Try to make some freinds."

When I got done packing I looked at Curburus. He was on his leash but I couldnt take him. I droped him off to Chafrion and said "He is normaly verry good." Now it is time for my adventure.
