Okay, so I love the Ruby Red Trilogy by Kerstin Gier and I thought it would be cool to do a role-play for it. Here's the sign up thing.

Okay, so the simplest explanation can be summed up in three words: they were wrong. The Lodge was wrong about there only being twelve time travelers. Well, technically, but they didn't realise that after the Ruby comes along and is read into the chronograph, the set of twelve starts again. And this tiem, there's a thirteenth: Peridot. So, the Peridot is already born, and it's pretty much five or so years after the series ended, so the Circle of Twelve has started again, and this time Count Saint-Germain thinks that he can gain another secret everytime the Circle closes. But they all know he's evil now, so he has to try and, well, get at their blood, for need of a better term. we're basically trying to keep the Circle from closing, just like Lucy and Paul did, only now there's thirteen of us. So, yeah. Here's mine for an example.

Amity's POV
I felt the awful lurch of my stomach once more that week, and an odd tingling sensation spreading through my limbs as the world in frotn of me blurred like I'd just gone underwater.
Lately this had been happening to me, but I can't exactly say why - I had no explanation. Although I doubted telling my Algebra teacher that I'd missed class because I'd traveled back in time was going to help me much.
I toppled forward, banging my knees against the cold tile floor of my school hallway. I grimly stood up, brushing dirt off my school uniform's navy pleated skirt.
Someone stood in frotn of me; a boy, I discovered as I awkwardly clambered to my feet. He was about my age - seventeen - and his pale blue eyes sparkled with unspoken insults that I probably would've kicked him for. The number of times I'd been insulted was absolutely ridiculous, but the number of times I'd been insulted in the past was just insane!
He grinned spitefully, and I stuck out my tongue. A childish thing to do, I know, but old habits are hard to break. He seemed genuinally taken aback by my actions, and I wondered for a moment if sticking out tongues meant something entirely different in the time period I'd landed in.
"Yeah, I'm weird. Get over it." I growled, pushing past him, trying to get my bearings. Where had I been in my own time? I couldn't even remember. It would be awfully embarassing if I ended up appearing in the middle of an English class, tumbling down on the floor in front of the entire grade. As if I hadn't already suffered enough humiliation the past few weeks.
Just then, the world blurred once more and I found myself on the floor of the girl's bathroom, my head awkwardly bashing against one of the stall doors. Thankfully, I was alone.
That was when I turned and found myself face-to-face with another girl, who was halfway transparent herself, coming back into focus.

Verity's POV
I felt the familiar and awful lurch of my stomach and hoped that the room I was standing in wouldn't have anyone in it during the twenty-first century. The last thing I needed, on top of near suspension, being grounded, and detention was someone telling the principal I'd fallen on top of them in the bathroom.
I squinted, attempting to adjust my sight to the florescent lights of the bathroom glowing overhead, casting harsh light over the unaturally gross bathroom at St. Lennox Academy for Girls.
I whipped around and found myself face-to-face with a girl of about my age, maybe a year or two older, her short black hair curling around intense gray eyes and a confused expression. I stifled a gasp.
"Hi," I said weakly, and the girl's jaw dropped. I could understnad that: if someone had literally appeared out of thin air beside me in the loo, I suppose I'd have panicked as well.
"Y - you just ..." she swallowed hard, as if forcing a golfball down her throat. I knit my eyebrows together. Nice mess to get yourself into, Verity, taunted a voice at the back of my mind. I hated that voice.
"Um ... gotta go!" I stuttered, and turned to make a beeline for the door. But she caught my wrist and swung me back around.
"No, wait! You're ... you're like me."
A metallic taste filled my mouth, and I narrowed my eyes in confusion.
"Whta do you mean?"
"You travel in time, don't you?" she asked, almost suspiciously. "Right?"
"Do I?" I muttered, and I knew right then I was ticked off. This whole situation was going to get me in even more trouble, and I'd be expelled from this school, too. The third one in two years ... my mother would kill me.
"You are," she confirmed, and I knew the next part before she even opened her mouth. "And ... I am, too."

Rose's Pov~
"Hey Rose! Wait up!" Rose heard Mark call to her. What does he want now, the jurk... She thought to her self.
"Rose please listen!" Mark said, putting his hand on her shoulder. Rose turned to look at him, she could feel tears welling up in her eyes. Why did he have to do this to me? Torture me like this? "Come on, it was a misunderstanding. I would never say that about you."
"Mark, Lila heard you say it. I am listening to her." Rose said, pulling away from him and continuing to walk.
"Right, you'll listen to someone you just met, who has a crush on me and thinks you and I will get in her way. And you wont listen to me, who you have known since kindergarden." Mark said, taking Rose's hand. Why did he have to say that, I could have gone on hating him. I wouldn't have had to have all the emotions well up in me, Rose told herself.
Rose gave him a faint smile, "Mark just give me some time. I know you probably didn't do it, but I just need to clear my head. I'll call you tonight." And with that she walked off.
Well I'll at least make sure she makes it home okay. Mark thought and went to follow her home. They lived about a block away from each other, and Marks was farther than Rose's so it was normal that they would walk together, or he would drive her. Depending on the day.
Rose didn't find anything odd about him following her, they always walked. And since she wanted to walk alone, he had to go as well. She rounded the final corner on the way home, when all of a sudden she had a lurch in her stomach. And odd tingling sensation went through her limbs and her vision blurred as if she was looking through water. What is happening? Rose asked herself.
All of a sudden, she straightened up and looked around. She felt normal, but there was something odd about her street. There were no paved roads. It was all dirt. The houses look like they came out of a colonial book. It was her street, there was the tree, smaller but still her tree. It looked as if she was in a whole new century. Then she saw a person. The lady was dressed in a pretty, long 1700's-ish dress. Wait a second, Rose thought. I am in a different era.
The lady saw her then and she did what all well bred women of 1798 did. She screamed. Rose then felt the same tugging in her stomach.
"Whoah!" The familiar voice of Mark cried, as she slammed into him. "What the heck was that about!?"

"Hey Rose! Wait up!" Rose heard Mark call to her. What does he want now, the jurk... She thought to her self.
"Rose please listen!" Mark said, putting his hand on her shoulder. Rose turned to look at him, she could feel tears welling up in her eyes. Why did he have to do this to me? Torture me like this? "Come on, it was a misunderstanding. I would never say that about you."
"Mark, Lila heard you say it. I am listening to her." Rose said, pulling away from him and continuing to walk.
"Right, you'll listen to someone you just met, who has a crush on me and thinks you and I will get in her way. And you wont listen to me, who you have known since kindergarden." Mark said, taking Rose's hand. Why did he have to say that, I could have gone on hating him. I wouldn't have had to have all the emotions well up in me, Rose told herself.
Rose gave him a faint smile, "Mark just give me some time. I know you probably didn't do it, but I just need to clear my head. I'll call you tonight." And with that she walked off.
Well I'll at least make sure she makes it home okay. Mark thought and went to follow her home. They lived about a block away from each other, and Marks was farther than Rose's so it was normal that they would walk together, or he would drive her. Depending on the day.
Rose didn't find anything odd about him following her, they always walked. And since she wanted to walk alone, he had to go as well. She rounded the final corner on the way home, when all of a sudden she had a lurch in her stomach. And odd tingling sensation went through her limbs and her vision blurred as if she was looking through water. What is happening? Rose asked herself.
All of a sudden, she straightened up and looked around. She felt normal, but there was something odd about her street. There were no paved roads. It was all dirt. The houses look like they came out of a colonial book. It was her street, there was the tree, smaller but still her tree. It looked as if she was in a whole new century. Then she saw a person. My red shirt tore when I bumped into the girl. I was trying to pick the lock into The computer lab so I could hack into an oil companies website that my Father ran. "Ivia again?" I asked. She nodded. I ran to the principals office. Principal Maria mahagany was writing that girl Arona's expulsion slip. I pulled out my laptop as I said " Arona's innocent! It's Ivia who's trying to get her expelled!" she stared at me. I typed in school security code11236 which showed the camera footage. You see I'm a special case at this school. My dad sent me here when I picked a lock on an oil facility and changed his shipping records. I was allowed to hack and lock pick. I didn't need to attend classes. I just did. I showed her the footage and she pulled out Ivia's expulsion papers. That's when she walked in and said " He is in possession of stolen property!" I saw she was holding up my backpack and she took out my blue diamond and Roman Soldier armor. She erased her own name and put mine. I grabbed her and we ended up in the roman coliseum...

I burst out of the stall and in time,saw them poking my backpack.''Hey! Watch it!'' I yelped at them.''Whatever,there nothing good in there, anyway.'' said Kimley.''Come on,let's go.''said Jesser.''No,wait there's a bracelet in there!''yelled Kimley.''What?''said Jesser.''Give.It.Back.''I said as I lunged for it. I woke up on a sandy beach. Wait, no it wasn't a beach. Everything was sandy. Wasn't I just putting on Mom's old opal necklace next to... "Whoa, how did we get here?" I here a voice ask. I turned around. It wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare. Michael Roboski, the cutest guy in school, had just time-traveled with me back to...ancient Egypt? I'd only had Mother's necklace for only a week and this was the second time for this to happen! And now he was here. Great. Wonderful. "Michael, I-" I couldn't finish my sentence because I felt the familiar pull in my stomach. I ran and threw up next to a tent selling jewelry. I looked back. Michael hadn't seen me throw up. That would've been a great first impression. I walked back to Michael, now sitting on the sand. "Missy? How'd you get here? How did I get here? And where is here?" I was about to answer but I just turned over and threw up again. This time Michael saw me. Great. Wonderful. Blowing chunks next to the cutest guy in school was not how I imagined the first week back to school. "Missy, are you alright?" he asked. I lay down on the sand with my eyes closed. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for your concern." Honestly I believe I sounded drunk. I think Mike noticed that too. I cleared my throat and said, "Michael, the question you should be asking is when you are, not where. We time traveled." WHAAAATTTT???!!!!!???!!??!?!?!?!?! I thought to myself Why did i just tell him that? "What happened to you, Missy? I need to get you to a doctor." he picks me up off the sand, screaming, "Are there any doctors here? I have a girl who is hallucinating! And me, I'm hallucinating too!" "Mike, put me down! Let go of me! They'll arrest us!" he puts me down and a lady runs up to us. "Come with me. I can help." we walk past her and she says, "No! No! Put these on frst." she hands us some cloaks and we drape them over ourselves. We follow the lady into town a ways, then she turns to a house on the corner. I could tell Michael didn't understand. Neither did I! But I hope we would soon.
