Cubic zirconia is the world's closest immitation to diamond. It is not nearly as valuable, but it's really pretty. I have a necklace with that stuff on it. (Sorry, geology is one of my various and usually completely useless hobbies. But maybe this time it will be useful?) I think this was already mentioned, but maybe the diamond is a fake. The Vespers also would have thought of a harder code if they had not wanted us to find this out. It's gotta be important.

I crack the code. BTW you need our google friend (google.com) for some help:
the first code is - Vespers Best Friend
The second is cubic zirconias which has to be "cubic zirconium" which isn't diamond. I am very sure that is thing vespers want. Here and some information about it.

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!! The jewel you're supposed to steal is a Cubic Zirconia. It's a pretty gemstone that is on a lot of rings. Maybe it's the Vesper's best friend because there's a specific one and it's like a key or something. Hope this helps!

Now that was too easy. I'm surprised that you didn't figure it out in a heartbeat. The code is "CUBIC ZIRCONIAS ARE A VESPERS BEST FRIEND". Cubic zirconia is basically the exact visual copy of a diamond. Sinead, you were meant to intercept this message. It is a clue on how to steal the Golden Jubilee diamond. The Cahills need to get an cubic zirconias that is identical to the Golden Jubilee to replace it once it has been stolen. Still, you need to leave no clue that the Golden Jubilee was replaced, the copy would not stand up under tests.
