PROLOGUE:
A long time ago in some time,in some place and i dont say some time and some place because i cant think of a time and place...which i cant,but because i speak of the war......the war that time itself had forgotten.This war was of the elements ,of light verses dark. At that time those who used dark powers to recharge their power fought against those who used the light,the battle was furious and ended with only Eight survivors.the seven of the light and the dark elementalist ,The Atrector.
The atrector tried to defeat them with his powers but was defeated by the light and all was at peace but when he was about to die a he created a stone with the last words engraved in it: "I may be gone but in centuries time my successor shall arrise and when he does this stone shall glow and you elementalists will meet the end" and at that it broke to eight pieces one for each elementalist,one of the pieces disappered in too dark mist along with him,while each of the other elementalist took a piece each and vowed to keep it safe,these pieces were passed on from centurie to centurie and all was at peace .......until.....
Red eyes gleemed through the darkness and two figures in black clothes approached them
"Master" said one "we got your message what is it you wanted to tell us"
"The children" said the creatures master "they're maturing, growing stronger and with that so is my power"
"so what are your orders master?" the creature interuppted
"do not interrupt demon!" its master bellowed
"s- sorry master" the demon said in a small timid voice
"besides you know exactly what I want you to do" he said "kill them?" "kill them" he agreed "so... it's time" the other demon asked "yes" said the red eyed man "finnaly time..... for the elemetals to be overthrown and for me to finally get my vengance!"

Jason redstone awoke in his bed gasping ,he hadnt had such a strong vision in years. He turned to his right and opened a small drawer in the side table and reached for a pouch he opened it and let a small ring fall onto his palm his eyes widened with fear as he looked at it ,the ring with a snake ontop of it .the snake was coiled pu around a glowing purple stone with words that were so faint but still readible......"....will meet the end" one of the words of the stone of prophecy ....the time had come
the man looked at the stone and said to himself..
"the time has begun.....i have to gather the others ...i need to gather........."

Oh my gosh you guys.. I feel soooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had such a horrible week so far! The power has been out almost all day! And we have this play... The power isn't going to get fixed until, and this is best case scenario, Friday... And I won't be able to sit down and write till Sunday at the earliest! So I am sooooo sorry, but could you skip me? I really wanted to write, but we have to keep this story moving! Hopefully I will be able to write next time around!!!! Again I am so, so, so, sorry!!!! Thank you so much!!!

OMG! I'm sooooooooooooo sorry for the delay!! I've been really busy this weak!! that and my sister accidentely deleated my chapter *cough* again *cough* Well here's my chapter (finally) and really sorry for the boring-ness!!! couldn't think of anything exciting! =(
CHAPTER #12
ALEXI'S POV
I stood in Alice’s living room as I told my dad and hers everything I knew about the earth element
once done I said, "so what's our plan?" My dad and Mr. Crest both looked confused
"you know" I began "our plan to get Evan" I don’t know how I knew his name or when I found out what it was, but I just woke up knowing it was Evan.
"um...nothing really" Mr. Crest said
I stared at him "what?"
"We’ll just go to Manhattan and adopt Evan like normal people"
"um...okay then" I said with a confused look on my face, everything had gotten so messed up I hadn't even thought about doing something normal for once.
"So when are we going then?" I asked
"right now" a voice huffed behind me
I spun around to see Alice, standing at the door way breathing hard, she looked pale, like she'd just seen a ghost, little did I know that in a way, she had.....
"Alice" I said examining her "what happened?"
"No time to explain, we have a big problem" she said, just then Rosie and Francesco, arrived behind her, also breathing hard
"I swear Alice" Rosie huffed "couldn’t you just have waited like five minutes for us?" Francesco nudged her and the teenager looked surprised when she looked up to see us, like she hadn’t noticed we were there "um....hey"
My dad waved away...pretty much everything Rosie had said and turned his attention straight back to Alice "Alice what's wrong?" he asked
"look like I told you no time to explain, and it's sort of a long story, all you need to know is Maximus is going to turn the seventh element against us"
"What? how?" I asked and by now all eyes were on Alice "he can’t do that, can he? Can he do that?" I asked
Mr. Crest shook his head as if trying to get the thought out “not sure” he said “but I don’t think that’s the real question here”
My dad nodded “he’s right; the question is how you know this? Who told you?”
Everyone had now once more turned their attention back to Alice she looked around the room at all the staring eyes then back to my dad “I- I’m not sure” she stuttered “there was like this flash colors and then this man showed up, and he told me to go get the boy quickly because Maximus was going to turn him against us, so I was hoping you knew”
Both men exchanged glances obviously mystified, then Mr. Crest finally spoke, “we’re not sure, but this whole going to Manhattan thing just screams trap”
“What?” I heard Noelle’s voice protest“but we can’t just leave him” I turned around to see Noelle and Luna at the door way, I hadn't even noticed they were there until now, they must’ve arrived during the conversation and I hadn't noticed.
“I’m sorry but you can’t” Mr. Crest said“this is far too dangerous for you”
“But what if it’s not a trap?” Luna protested “what if we just left it and it turns out that it was never a trap and we just let Maximus turn the kid?”
"I’m sorry children but we can’t let you go” my dad said, now entering into the conversation “even if it isn’t a trap Maximus might be there and you’re not trained enough to fight him, especially not without light”
“But we trained for seven hours yesterday!” I exclaimed “dad I think, no, I know we’re ready for this”
“I’m sorry but you’re not, we’ve made our minds you’re not going” he finally decided and soon after we left the room.
Later we all got together in Alice’s room, Luna sat in the corner with Noelle by her side, Rosie sat on Alice’s bed with her, and I sat on my mattress, while Francesco just paced around the room. Mr. Crest and my dad had decided that everyone would spend the night at Alice’s house, no one argued; everyone had called their parents and told them about it. “Guys we can’t just drop this can we?” I said finally “we have to do something”
“How?” Alice asked “we’re six teenagers with no money” she checked her watch “and it’s ten in the night”
I thought for a moment then said, “Hey Luna, you can drive right?”
Luna nodded “yeah, but Manhattan is a two day drive, we’ll never make it there in time” she said “look I don’t like this anymore than you do, but Alice is right, it would be impossible for six normal teenagers to drive Chicago to Manhatten in one night”
“You know your kind of right” I said smiling“it would be impossible for six normal kids but then again we're anything but normal”
Everyone was exchanging glances and smiling now.
We all snuck out about five minutes later, Luna had stolen the keys to Alice’s dad’s car and gotten in the driver’s seat, with Francesco in shot gun and the rest of us in the back, I told her the address to Evans orphanage, and she entered it into the GPS then turned on the radio and practically stomped on the pedal for the first hour we just went like that, Luna driving at extreme speeds, every time a police officer would stop us I would use my powers to throw something of the officers (example hat, badge, wallet,) andwhen he would bend over to get it Luna would use that opportunity to light the police officers vehicle on fire while he would be busy trying to put it out, we would leave.
Throughout the ride, we all kept urging Luna to slow down, but she wouldn’t, mostly because she knew that every time she would come close to crashing, I would use my powers to move it out of the way, Luna wasn’t exactly the best driver, mostly ‘cause she was still learning, after a while we came across an empty road
“Hey Francesco” Luna began “check if there anymore cars around” and so he did
“Um…no, why?” he asked
“Wait and see” she said “take the wheel”she urged
“What?” Francesco asked in shock
“Just do it” she commanded, he grabbed the wheel and then she rolled the window down and stuck her head out of it then took a deep breath and started breathing out fire, giving us an extreme boost.
At first we were all holding on as tight as we could and screaming our lungs out, but then I cracked a smile when I realized how fun it really was and after a while without knowing it I began laughing, at first everyone was giving strange looks like I was crazy or something, but I guess later they noticed how fun it was too, and after a while we were all laughing and cheering.
“WOOOO!” I cheered with my hands in the air as I laughed hysterically
By this time Luna was using her hands to shoot out fire, because she kept messing up because we kept laughing, which of course made her laugh, she yelled at us thousands of time to be quite but we just couldn’t, so in the end se gave up and started using her hands instead.
“Hey Noelle take the wheel” Francesco said
“What?” Noelle said “oh come on not you too”
“Just grab it, please?” Francesco asked And she did, Francesco then opened the window, stuck his head and arms out and gave us a wind boost, which made the car move twice as fast as it was before, and made us cheer even more, it was at this moment that I felt like we were finally getting along, actually it felt more like we were finally becoming friends, Noelle couldn’t get a firm grip on the wheel from the backseat, so I took the courtesy to help her, I used my powers on the wheel so I could use it without even having to touch it, in minutes time after that we arrived at Manhattan and Luna and Francesco stopped using their powers in fear someone would see them, instead Alice used her power on the car to give it an electric boost, so it moved a lot faster than it should have
“Okay” Luna said as we approached a building “here we are Evans orphanage”
The first thing we saw when we got there, was this huge rush in front of the orphanage.
“What’s with all the commotion?” asked Francesco
“I don’t know” Luna said peering out the window, trying to get view of what was going on “but I don’t like it, come on”she said while opening the car door, we all got out of the car
We approached the building farther and saw about five police cars, and even the media were there, we listened in on what a news reporter was saying,
“-five men in black hooded cloaks, apparently, broke in through the window of a boy’s room, according to the police there is no one left in the building accept a thirteen-year-old boy, Evan Garcia, soon after everyone had evacuated the building, every door and window in the building shut closed by what seemed like itself , and now no matter how hard anyone try’s they just won’t seem to open, the reason for this is still unknown-”
“Demons” I decided
“Are you sure” Luna asked
I nodded, “my dad and I fought them, it was easy to beat them even when I wasn’t trained, it should a piece of cake for the six of us, especially now that we’re trained”
“Um guys? We kind of have a bigger problem here” Alice said cutting in “they’ve got Evan”
“Not yet” Noelle said “well hopefully, the reporter lady said they got in, nothing about getting out”
“Not yet” Rosie agreed “but they might if we don’t hurry and get him out”
“How?” I asked “didn’t you here the lady? No one can get in. The demon’s probably used some demon hoodoo magic stuff”
“’Hoodoo magic stuff’?” Rosie asked
“Guys is that really important right now?” Alice interrupted “we still have to find a way to get in, what if we use our powers on it, maybe that could work”
“Oh good idea, Hey don’t mind me just a super powered kid over here gonna bust the door down” I said sarcastically
"Well maybe we could try the back" Francesco suggested "come on I have an idea" then he led us past the crowd and to the back of the orphanage, then filled us in on the details of his plan, at that time it was either really early in the morning or really late at night, I was going with the first, either way it was dark, and the darkness did us good because no one could see us, if they did they would probably freak. then once we were sure no one could see us, we got down to buisness
"Ready?" Francesco asked
"Ready" me and Luna agreed, then we all ot into the air, Francesco flew, while Luna breathed fire into the ground, thrusting her into the air, with me grabbing onto her, once she was in the air, I used my powers on her to keep suspended, while I just dangled trying to keep my grip, the first plan was for me to do it on myself, but I had never actually used my powers on myself before so I wasn't sure if it would work or not so we decided to go with plan B.
Then at the exact same time, Luna and Francesco used there powers at the wall, breaking it and creating a loud 'crash' sound, the noise was so loud I was afraid someone would hear, and sadly they did, I could hear a few people saying 'what was that?' alot of mumbling that I couldn't understand, and even a few screams, so that meant we had to wrap it up quick
Francesco flew inside while Luna truned around and breathed out fire, pushing her into the builiding so fast that we got pushed into the wall dropping a few (okay fine more than a few) pictures onto the floor making another loud crashing noise, now the peoples voices got louder, and we fell to the ground hard
"Ow!" we complained
"shhhhh!" Francesco exclaimed "people are starting to notice"
"You dont say!" I said sarcastically, turning and twisting around in pain, but I managed to get to my feet and look around, we got into some random room, it seemed completly normal (besides the picures we broke and the dent in the wall we made, oh and the huge whole) which meant the demons hadn't been there, I got up and walked to the whe whole where we came from, the main reason Francesco made me come, was because, thanks to my powers, I'm the only one who can bring everyone up
"Okay you guys ready?" I said in a hush voice, looking down "Rosie your first" then I used my powers to bring her up, this was the first time I was using my powers on a human being and not on deadly weapons, so it was kind oof hard, but I got a hang of it. Soon I was down to the last person.
"Kay Noelle" I began 'your up" then I started pulling her up, she almost to my reach, when,
"Hey whats going on here?!" a police officer demanded, I wasn't sure how much he could see but I paniced and lost my concentration on Noelle, causing her to fall, at the last moment I grabbed her arm and we all pulled her up.
Once there Noelle calapsed onto the ground "oh my god I am never doing that again"
"Agreed neither am I " I said
"You guys gonna stay here and chat all day?" Francesco asked "or are you coming?"
then we both got up and followed the others out the door.
"so how are we gonna find the demons again?" I asked rigth then there was a loud noise from across the hall
"ten bucks says by following that" Alice said and we ran to it
And sadly she was right, We got into the room which I guessed was Evans, the boy stood at the corner of the room, terrified, he reminded me of my myself durinng my firast demon encounter, around him were about ten demons circling the room pretty much destroying everything, no, it looked more like they were searching for something.
"um...guys?" Rosie began "I thought they were only five"
"It dosn't matter we can still take em" Alice said and we did.
I used my powers peices of glass that were lying by the window from after the demons broke through, and used them to stabb a few of them they arrupted to flames then ash.
Luna and Noelle were working like a perfect team, the demons had somehow broken pretty much everything in the bathroom, so water was spewing everywhere, and Noelle was using that to trap the demons, then Luna used her powers to burn them.
Alice was running circles around the demons, then when they would be turned around she would shock them really hard that they would arrupt into flames and turn to ash.
Rosie was freazing any demon that came close, and Fracesco was using his powers to simply kick massive demon butt
And in moments they were all gone, nothing left but ash.
"Who's there?" I heard a voice down the hall say
"oh no" I said "it's the police they think we're the demons"
"Well then let's go" Francesco urged and we ran upto Evan
"come on we're getting you out of here" I said
"Why should I trust you?" he asked
"Why/' I asked "maybe because we're the people who just saved your butt"
"Ignore her" Francesco said now taking over "it's because your one of us and you know it, please you have to trust us"
He thought for a moment "I trust you"
"Let the boy go and come out with your hands in the air!" the officer said
"WE JUST FREAKING SAVED THE KID, WHAT THE HAY!" I yelled but I dont think he heard me
"SHHHHH!" Everyone yelled at the same time
"there going to here you!" Noelle whispered
"thats kind of the point " I grumbled "how are we going to get out of here?"
"the window" Evan said
"what?" I asked "are yo insane?"
"I trusted you now it's your turn to trust me" he said, and I wished he didn't have such a good point
We got to the window and I asked "so how is this going to work again?"
"you guys have no idea what I'm capable of" and then I completely beleived him when I saw him break a big chunk of the ground and made it float all the upto the window
"woah!" I said
"you guys just gonna stand there?" Evan asked as he walked onto the floating peice of earth, we all fallowed him onto it then he pushed it back onto the ground with us on
"woah" I siad for the second time "talk about an elavator"
Then we ran, Evan's orphanage was near a forest so we ran deap into it until we were sure no one could find us
"Lost them" Rosie decided
"I'd like to thank" Evan said, then it looked like a wave of darkness came over his face "and apoligize"
"apoligize?" ALice asked "for what?"
"this" he said then faster than we could react he used his powers to make our feet sink into the ground and our arms were locked with what seemed like handcuffs made from earth .
We were trapped.
"what are you..." My voice flattered when I saw who had just appeared behind Evan
"Maximus" I said angrily
"Good morning children" he said smugly
"Did I do good master?" Evan asked
"Splendid" he said
"so what now your jsut gonna kill us?!?" Luna barked
"No not me" he said then turned to Evan "I'll let you finish them off, make me proud"
He bagan disapearing into black smoke when he said, "oh and Alexis dear, dont forget my offer"
And with that he disapeared leaving us trapped and to be killed by the bboy we had just saved
phew glad thats finally done, once more sorry for the long-ness! Luna your up!
CHAPTER #12
ALEXI'S POV

I spun around to see Alice, standing at the door way breathing hard, she looked pale, like she'd just seen a ghost, little did I know that in a way, she had.....
"Alice" I said examining her "what happened?"
"No time to explain, we have a big problem" she said, just then Rosie and Francesco, arrived behind her, also breathing hard
"I swear Alice" Rosie huffed "couldn’t you just have waited like five minutes for us?" Francesco nudged her and the teenager looked surprised when she looked up to see us, like she hadn’t noticed we were there "um....hey"
My dad waved away...pretty much everything Rosie had said and turned his attention straight back to Alice "Alice what's wrong?" he asked
"look like I told you no time to explain, and it's sort of a long story, all you need to know is Maximus is going to turn the seventh element against us"
"What? how?" I asked and by now all eyes were on Alice "he can’t do that, can he? Can he do that?" I asked
Mr. Crest shook his head as if trying to get the thought out “not sure” he said “but I don’t think that’s the real question here”
My dad nodded “he’s right; the question is how you know this? Who told you?”
Everyone had now once more turned their attention back to Alice she looked around the room at all the staring eyes then back to my dad “I- I’m not sure” she stuttered “there was like this flash colors and then this man showed up, and he told me to go get the boy quickly because Maximus was going to turn him against us, so I was hoping you knew”
Both men exchanged glances obviously mystified, then Mr. Crest finally spoke, “we’re not sure, but this whole going to Manhattan thing just screams trap”
“What?” I heard Noelle’s voice protest“but we can’t just leave him” I turned around to see Noelle and Luna at the door way, I hadn't even noticed they were there until now, they must’ve arrived during the conversation and I hadn't noticed.
“I’m sorry but you can’t” Mr. Crest said“this is far too dangerous for you”
“But what if it’s not a trap?” Luna protested “what if we just left it and it turns out that it was never a trap and we just let Maximus turn the kid?”
"I’m sorry children but we can’t let you go” my dad said, now entering into the conversation “even if it isn’t a trap Maximus might be there and you’re not trained enough to fight him, especially not without light”
“But we trained for seven hours yesterday!” I exclaimed “dad I think, no, I know we’re ready for this”
“I’m sorry but you’re not, we’ve made our minds you’re not going” he finally decided and soon after we left the room.
Later we all got together in Alice’s room, Luna sat in the corner with Noelle by her side, Rosie sat on Alice’s bed with her, and I sat on my mattress, while Francesco just paced around the room. Mr. Crest and my dad had decided that everyone would spend the night at Alice’s house, no one argued; everyone had called their parents and told them about it. “Guys we can’t just drop this can we?” I said finally “we have to do something”
“How?” Alice asked “we’re six teenagers with no money” she checked her watch “and it’s ten in the night”
I thought for a moment then said, “Hey Luna, you can drive right?”
Luna nodded “yeah, but Manhattan is a two day drive, we’ll never make it there in time” she said “look I don’t like this anymore than you do, but Alice is right, it would be impossible for six normal teenagers to drive Chicago to Manhatten in one night”
“You know your kind of right” I said smiling“it would be impossible for six normal kids but then again we're anything but normal”
Everyone was exchanging glances and smiling now.
We all snuck out about five minutes later, Luna had stolen the keys to Alice’s dad’s car and gotten in the driver’s seat, with Francesco in shot gun and the rest of us in the back, I told her the address to Evans orphanage, and she entered it into the GPS then turned on the radio and practically stomped on the pedal for the first hour we just went like that, Luna driving at extreme speeds, every time a police officer would stop us I would use my powers to throw something of the officers (example hat, badge, wallet,) andwhen he would bend over to get it Luna would use that opportunity to light the police officers vehicle on fire while he would be busy trying to put it out, we would leave.
Throughout the ride, we all kept urging Luna to slow down, but she wouldn’t, mostly because she knew that every time she would come close to crashing, I would use my powers to move it out of the way, Luna wasn’t exactly the best driver, mostly ‘cause she was still learning, after a while we came across an empty road
“Hey Francesco” Luna began “check if there anymore cars around” and so he did
“Um…no, why?” he asked
“Wait and see” she said “take the wheel”she urged
“What?” Francesco asked in shock
“Just do it” she commanded, he grabbed the wheel and then she rolled the window down and stuck her head out of it then took a deep breath and started breathing out fire, giving us an extreme boost.
At first we were all holding on as tight as we could and screaming our lungs out, but then I cracked a smile when I realized how fun it really was and after a while without knowing it I began laughing, at first everyone was giving strange looks like I was crazy or something, but I guess later they noticed how fun it was too, and after a while we were all laughing and cheering.
“WOOOO!” I cheered with my hands in the air as I laughed hysterically
By this time Luna was using her hands to shoot out fire, because she kept messing up because we kept laughing, which of course made her laugh, she yelled at us thousands of time to be quite but we just couldn’t, so in the end se gave up and started using her hands instead.
“Hey Noelle take the wheel” Francesco said
“What?” Noelle said “oh come on not you too”
“Just grab it, please?” Francesco asked And she did, Francesco then opened the window, stuck his head and arms out and gave us a wind boost, which made the car move twice as fast as it was before, and made us cheer even more, it was at this moment that I felt like we were finally getting along, actually it felt more like we were finally becoming friends, Noelle couldn’t get a firm grip on the wheel from the backseat, so I took the courtesy to help her, I used my powers on the wheel so I could use it without even having to touch it, in minutes time after that we arrived at Manhattan and Luna and Francesco stopped using their powers in fear someone would see them, instead Alice used her power on the car to give it an electric boost, so it moved a lot faster than it should have
“Okay” Luna said as we approached a building “here we are Evans orphanage”
The first thing we saw when we got there, was this huge rush in front of the orphanage.
“What’s with all the commotion?” asked Francesco
“I don’t know” Luna said peering out the window, trying to get view of what was going on “but I don’t like it, come on”she said while opening the car door, we all got out of the car
We approached the building farther and saw about five police cars, and even the media were there, we listened in on what a news reporter was saying,
“-five men in black hooded cloaks, apparently, broke in through the window of a boy’s room, according to the police there is no one left in the building accept a thirteen-year-old boy, Evan Garcia, soon after everyone had evacuated the building, every door and window in the building shut closed by what seemed like itself , and now no matter how hard anyone try’s they just won’t seem to open, the reason for this is still unknown-”
“Demons” I decided
“Are you sure” Luna asked
I nodded, “my dad and I fought them, it was easy to beat them even when I wasn’t trained, it should a piece of cake for the six of us, especially now that we’re trained”
“Um guys? We kind of have a bigger problem here” Alice said cutting in “they’ve got Evan”
“Not yet” Noelle said “well hopefully, the reporter lady said they got in, nothing about getting out”
“Not yet” Rosie agreed “but they might if we don’t hurry and get him out”
“How?” I asked “didn’t you here the lady? No one can get in. The demon’s probably used some demon hoodoo magic stuff”
“’Hoodoo magic stuff’?” Rosie asked
“Guys is that really important right now?” Alice interrupted “we still have to find a way to get in, what if we use our powers on it, maybe that could work”
“Oh good idea, Hey don’t mind me just a super powered kid over here gonna bust the door down” I said sarcastically
"Well maybe we could try the back" Francesco suggested "come on I have an idea" then he led us past the crowd and to the back of the orphanage, then filled us in on the details of his plan, at that time it was either really early in the morning or really late at night, I was going with the first, either way it was dark, and the darkness did us good because no one could see us, if they did they would probably freak. then once we were sure no one could see us, we got down to buisness
"Ready?" Francesco asked
"Ready" me and Luna agreed, then we all ot into the air, Francesco flew, while Luna breathed fire into the ground, thrusting her into the air, with me grabbing onto her, once she was in the air, I used my powers on her to keep suspended, while I just dangled trying to keep my grip, the first plan was for me to do it on myself, but I had never actually used my powers on myself before so I wasn't sure if it would work or not so we decided to go with plan B.
Then at the exact same time, Luna and Francesco used there powers at the wall, breaking it and creating a loud 'crash' sound, the noise was so loud I was afraid someone would hear, and sadly they did, I could hear a few people saying 'what was that?' alot of mumbling that I couldn't understand, and even a few screams, so that meant we had to wrap it up quick
Francesco flew inside while Luna truned around and breathed out fire, pushing her into the builiding so fast that we got pushed into the wall dropping a few (okay fine more than a few) pictures onto the floor making another loud crashing noise, now the peoples voices got louder, and we fell to the ground hard
"Ow!" we complained
"shhhhh!" Francesco exclaimed "people are starting to notice"
"You dont say!" I said sarcastically, turning and twisting around in pain, but I managed to get to my feet and look around, we got into some random room, it seemed completly normal (besides the picures we broke and the dent in the wall we made, oh and the huge whole) which meant the demons hadn't been there, I got up and walked to the whe whole where we came from, the main reason Francesco made me come, was because, thanks to my powers, I'm the only one who can bring everyone up
"Okay you guys ready?" I said in a hush voice, looking down "Rosie your first" then I used my powers to bring her up, this was the first time I was using my powers on a human being and not on deadly weapons, so it was kind oof hard, but I got a hang of it. Soon I was down to the last person.
"Kay Noelle" I began 'your up" then I started pulling her up, she almost to my reach, when,
"Hey whats going on here?!" a police officer demanded, I wasn't sure how much he could see but I paniced and lost my concentration on Noelle, causing her to fall, at the last moment I grabbed her arm and we all pulled her up.
Once there Noelle calapsed onto the ground "oh my god I am never doing that again"
"Agreed neither am I " I said
"You guys gonna stay here and chat all day?" Francesco asked "or are you coming?"
then we both got up and followed the others out the door.
"so how are we gonna find the demons again?" I asked rigth then there was a loud noise from across the hall
"ten bucks says by following that" Alice said and we ran to it
And sadly she was right, We got into the room which I guessed was Evans, the boy stood at the corner of the room, terrified, he reminded me of my myself durinng my firast demon encounter, around him were about ten demons circling the room pretty much destroying everything, no, it looked more like they were searching for something.
"um...guys?" Rosie began "I thought they were only five"
"It dosn't matter we can still take em" Alice said and we did.
I used my powers peices of glass that were lying by the window from after the demons broke through, and used them to stabb a few of them they arrupted to flames then ash.
Luna and Noelle were working like a perfect team, the demons had somehow broken pretty much everything in the bathroom, so water was spewing everywhere, and Noelle was using that to trap the demons, then Luna used her powers to burn them.
Alice was running circles around the demons, then when they would be turned around she would shock them really hard that they would arrupt into flames and turn to ash.
Rosie was freazing any demon that came close, and Fracesco was using his powers to simply kick massive demon butt
And in moments they were all gone, nothing left but ash.
"Who's there?" I heard a voice down the hall say
"oh no" I said "it's the police they think we're the demons"
"Well then let's go" Francesco urged and we ran upto Evan
"come on we're getting you out of here" I said
"Why should I trust you?" he asked
"Why/' I asked "maybe because we're the people who just saved your butt"
"Ignore her" Francesco said now taking over "it's because your one of us and you know it, please you have to trust us"
He thought for a moment "I trust you"
"Let the boy go and come out with your hands in the air!" the officer said
"WE JUST FREAKING SAVED THE KID, WHAT THE HAY!" I yelled but I dont think he heard me
"SHHHHH!" Everyone yelled at the same time
"there going to here you!" Noelle whispered
"thats kind of the point " I grumbled "how are we going to get out of here?"
"the window" Evan said
"what?" I asked "are yo insane?"
"I trusted you now it's your turn to trust me" he said, and I wished he didn't have such a good point
We got to the window and I asked "so how is this going to work again?"
"you guys have no idea what I'm capable of" and then I completely beleived him when I saw him break a big chunk of the ground and made it float all the upto the window
"woah!" I said
"you guys just gonna stand there?" Evan asked as he walked onto the floating peice of earth, we all fallowed him onto it then he pushed it back onto the ground with us on
"woah" I siad for the second time "talk about an elavator"
Then we ran, Evan's orphanage was near a forest so we ran deap into it until we were sure no one could find us
"Lost them" Rosie decided
"I'd like to thank" Evan said, then it looked like a wave of darkness came over his face "and apoligize"
"apoligize?" ALice asked "for what?"
"this" he said then faster than we could react he used his powers to make our feet sink into the ground and our arms were locked with what seemed like handcuffs made from earth .
We were trapped.
"what are you..." My voice flattered when I saw who had just appeared behind Evan
"Maximus" I said angrily
"Good morning children" he said smugly
"Did I do good master?" Evan asked
"Splendid" he said
"so what now your jsut gonna kill us?!?" Luna barked
"No not me" he said then turned to Evan "I'll let you finish them off, make me proud"
He bagan disapearing into black smoke when he said, "oh and Alexis dear, dont forget my offer"
And with that he disapeared leaving us trapped and to be killed by the bboy we had just saved
phew glad thats finally done, once more sorry for the long-ness! Luna your up!

I'm really sorry if I haven't posted in a while. I added a few Latin Verbs/Words my Social Science teacher taught me in class.

Chapter 13: Luna's POV
“Hey,” I said. “I know this is a bad time, but what did he mean by ‘Alexis-”
“Quiet!” Evan shouted.
“Hey let her finish!” Alice shouted.
Evan glared at Alice; Noelle muttered a few words that I noticed were Latin. I remembered that she uttered those same few words when I was in Alice’s bathroom.
“Aqua et Ignis ardet per nocte
Telekinesis auxiliis tonitrui, Ventus, et glacies
O frater terra, non solum est terra tenebris est crudelis et fallaci-“
(Translation- A fire burns through the water and on the night. Telekinesis aid of thunder, wind, snow and ice. Oh, brother of the earth, is not only cruel, it is the land of darkness and deceit)
I slapped her. “What was that for!” she yelled at me.“Sorry, you’re talking to yourself again,” I said.
“Quiet!” Evan shouted.
Geez, this guy’s a pain.
“Luna,” Alexis said. “What are you doing?”
“Yeah,” Francesco said. “You’re face is literally burning.”
“Want me to cool it?” Rosie asked.
“Quiet!” Alice whispered. “Earth bender over there is watching us.”We turned to find Evan glaring at us, Rosie shuddered.
“I’m getting a little creep out,” Rosie said.
The ground below us began to swallow us slowly; the cuffs on our arms began to tighten. Alice, Francesco, and Rosie whispered amongst each other. Noelle and Alexis talked to each other about Maximus. I calmed down a little, I felt fire burning in my feet; the ground began to crust and I moved quietly towards Evan who was messing around with some type of clay thing.
It was like a sense, but I felt the ground pulling me closer to the Earth. Evan turned around to find me running at him. I began to run away, when I heard Alice yelling my name I remembered something my dad used to tell me:
“Friends are everything to a fire user; don’t be like your ancestor who never trusted a single person.”
I bit my lip, if I leave them Evan and Maximus will turn them.
I burned the cuffs around my wrists and walked towards Evan who was looking smugly at me.
“You’re not going to run?” he asked. “Or are you thinking of fighting me?”
“Neither,” I said. “Instead I’ll set the world on fire.”
It was if on cue that fire began to surround the two of us. Evan smiled darkly; Alice, Rosie, Alexis, Noelle, and Francesco whooped in delight. Evan and I circled around each other waiting for one of us to attack each other.
“Luna!”
What now Alexis? Can’t you see I’m busy?!
“Wow, I know Noelle told me about your temper but this is worse. Anyway, we’re out of the situation now; we’re going attack him head on.” Are you crazy?!? We’ve only trained for seven hours!!!
“Well, aren’t we all crazy? Anyway, distract Evan while we get the trap set up.”
Fine, but don’t do anything stupid like a snow storm with lightning, winds blowing hard, water used as bullets, and something within that area. “Drat.”
Our conversation ended, Evan smiled.
“What are you looking at smile craze?!” I snapped.
“What? Is it a crime to smile?” he said.
“No but it is a crime to join Maximus,” I spat.
“Don’t worry about that,” he said. “Oh by the way Hunter says, 'See you soon love.'.”
I simply couldn’t stop my anger; I jumped at Evan with fire burning through my hands. Evan threw clay bulls in my direction, I burned them with fire.
“Duck you fool!”
I quickly ducked, while a huge log hit Evan straight across his chest. Ouch, that’s going to leave a mark. I walked up to him, out cold.
“Luna!” Alice shouted. “You okay? - Oh, that has to hurt.”
I turned around to find Noelle, Alice, Alexis, Rosie, and Francesco running towards me. I took out a small bit of a fire crystal and began to chew on it. Evan lied there senseless.
“Why did you jump at him?” Rosie asked.
I gave Rosie a cold stare, “Just got mad at him,” I said.
Francesco kicked him a bit, “So what are we going to do with him?”
“He’s one of the elements,” Alice said. “We should take him back to my basement under the basement.”
Everyone agreed. “How are we going to get out of here?” Alexis asked.
“How about we fly?” Rosie asked.
Francesco shook his head, “Sorry, I can’t carry all of you guys.”
“What do you think Alice?” Noelle asked.
“I think we should get a car,” Alice said slowly. Everyone turned their attention towards me. Why me?!?!?
I sighed, “I’ll go get a car, but you guys stay right here.”
Everyone nodded. Where in Hades did I park Mr. Crest’s car?!?!?
“Maybe you should wait for me?”
I turned around to find Alexis smiling at me, “Thought you might be lonely without someone coming with you.”
“Thanks,” I said.
We walked for a while in silence, when we reached the edge of the forest Alexis started a conversation with me.
“So, tell me who this Hunter person is,” she asked.
I stopped in my tracks, my heart began to flutter and I clenched my fists. I turned around to face her, “He’s an old friend of mine,” I said coldly. “Let’s find a Mr. Crest’s car and get away from here.”
I began to walk away when she grabbed my wrist with such strength.
“Tell me, you’re not alone,” she said.
I clenched my teeth, “I’ll tell you guys later, once we get back to Chicago safe and sound.”
“Fine, but you promise to tell all of us,” Alexis said.
As we got the car, I drove while Alexis took shotgun. I drove to the forest edge; from there Alexis got everyone inside the car. “What are we going to do with him?” I asked pointing at the unconscious Evan.
“I’d say we put him inside the trunk,” Rosie said.
“I’d say we put him in between Alice and Francesco,” Noelle said.
We all turned our attention towards Alice who was by then thinking of something.
“Sorry, just thinking about something,” she said.
“Well I guess I’ll agree with Noelle, sorry Thorn I know we hate him now but we don’t want to get pulled over.”
As everyone got inside the car, Noelle and I were the only ones outside. We smiled at each other, “Looks like our lives will change,” she said. “I wonder if we’re going to be normal teenagers ever again.”
“Quit looking into the future, we’re in the present right now,” I said. “Get inside or I’ll leave you here.”
“That’s mean,” she said.
As we all got inside the car, Alexis still was in shotgun and everyone else was sitting down thinking about their own problems. While driving on I-90 E, Alexis once again started to hold a conversation with me.
"Luna," Alexis said. "Did Maximus offer you something?"
My eyes were completely locked on the road, but my mind was trying to come up with a lie.
"If you really wanted to know then I guess there is no way for me to lie," I said. "Ever since I got a text message from Hunter I felt both relieved and scared at the same time. He texted not to bring Noelle with me, I agreed and walked all the way to the abandoned house he wanted me to go to."
I stopped for a while, I looked at the rearview mirror finding everyone sound asleep; I sighed and continued on:
"I thought for once I could confess to him about something, but when I arrived I found only Maximus. I didn't know what to do but listen to what he had to say.
"Luna," he said. "Why not help me? Your friend Alexis is rebelling against me, but I'll get her on my side sooner or later."
"Shut up!" I shouted. "I don't know a person named Alexis, but if you dare hurt any of the elements then so help me I'll personally beat you up all the way to Hades."
He laughed at me like it was a complete joke to him. “Nope instead would you like Hunter to be here rather than me?” I felt fire burning through my whole body how could a person so cruel torture an outcast of society like me around?
“You’re right I would rather have Hunter here,” I said.
He clapped his hand, “Well for my trick I’ll summon Hunter in front of you.”
Black smoke began to rise; I covered my mouth with my jacket sleeve. After the smoke disappeared I saw Hunter, his head down. I ran to him not knowing that his soul was sucked into the abyss.
Maximus popped out of nowhere and said: “Oh, isn’t that sad? Did I ever tell you Hunter is my nephew?” he said almost laughing.
“C’mon Hunt show Luna your power.” Hunter didn’t talk at all but put his hand up and pointed at my direction. Maximus laughed heartily. “Good! Now show her.”
Before I could blink or take a breath something killed me on the inside, I found myself on the floor with a bit of blood coming from my mouth. Maximus grinned, Hunter stood at his side looking at me with his blank expressionless eyes.
“Think about it,” Maximus said. “If you join I could reunite you with Hunter again, you won't have to die like your destined to. But if you rebel then I guess it’ll literally be your own death. I’ve read about your ancestral lineage Luna, your ancestor died in battle while protecting her friends; I bet you’ll die the same way your ancestor did.”
That’s why I’ve been crying Alexis, I can’t decide how to rescue Hunter or save my friends.”
Alexis smiled at me, “Well at least you got that off your shoulders.”
“Thanks for listening,” I said. “Get some sleep; we’ll be there in about ten hours or so.”
Alexis went to sleep and I still drove the car until our destination came to an end. “Trusting your friends is much better than going through a lonely road, Luna. Your ancestor Selene made that terrible mistake and paid for her bad deeds.”
I clenched the wheel, I turned on my Ipod and listened to my playlist consisting of Three Days Grace and Angel of Darkness.

(Translation- A fire burns through the water and on the night. Telekinesis aid of thunder, wind, snow and ice. Oh, brother of the earth, is not only cruel, it is the land of darkness and deceit)
I slapped her. “What was that for!” she yelled at me.“Sorry, you’re talking to yourself again,” I said.
“Quiet!” Evan shouted.
Geez, this guy’s a pain.
“Luna,” Alexis said. “What are you doing?”
“Yeah,” Francesco said. “You’re face is literally burning.”
“Want me to cool it?” Rosie asked.
“Quiet!” Alice whispered. “Earth bender over there is watching us.”We turned to find Evan glaring at us, Rosie shuddered.
“I’m getting a little creep out,” Rosie said.
The ground below us began to swallow us slowly; the cuffs on our arms began to tighten. Alice, Francesco, and Rosie whispered amongst each other. Noelle and Alexis talked to each other about Maximus. I calmed down a little, I felt fire burning in my feet; the ground began to crust and I moved quietly towards Evan who was messing around with some type of clay thing.
It was like a sense, but I felt the ground pulling me closer to the Earth. Evan turned around to find me running at him. I began to run away, when I heard Alice yelling my name I remembered something my dad used to tell me:
“Friends are everything to a fire user; don’t be like your ancestor who never trusted a single person.”
I bit my lip, if I leave them Evan and Maximus will turn them.
I burned the cuffs around my wrists and walked towards Evan who was looking smugly at me.
“You’re not going to run?” he asked. “Or are you thinking of fighting me?”
“Neither,” I said. “Instead I’ll set the world on fire.”
It was if on cue that fire began to surround the two of us. Evan smiled darkly; Alice, Rosie, Alexis, Noelle, and Francesco whooped in delight. Evan and I circled around each other waiting for one of us to attack each other.
“Luna!”
What now Alexis? Can’t you see I’m busy?!
“Wow, I know Noelle told me about your temper but this is worse. Anyway, we’re out of the situation now; we’re going attack him head on.” Are you crazy?!? We’ve only trained for seven hours!!!
“Well, aren’t we all crazy? Anyway, distract Evan while we get the trap set up.”
Fine, but don’t do anything stupid like a snow storm with lightning, winds blowing hard, water used as bullets, and something within that area. “Drat.”
Our conversation ended, Evan smiled.
“What are you looking at smile craze?!” I snapped.
“What? Is it a crime to smile?” he said.
“No but it is a crime to join Maximus,” I spat.
“Don’t worry about that,” he said. “Oh by the way Hunter says, 'See you soon love.'.”
I simply couldn’t stop my anger; I jumped at Evan with fire burning through my hands. Evan threw clay bulls in my direction, I burned them with fire.
“Duck you fool!”
I quickly ducked, while a huge log hit Evan straight across his chest. Ouch, that’s going to leave a mark. I walked up to him, out cold.
“Luna!” Alice shouted. “You okay? - Oh, that has to hurt.”
I turned around to find Noelle, Alice, Alexis, Rosie, and Francesco running towards me. I took out a small bit of a fire crystal and began to chew on it. Evan lied there senseless.
“Why did you jump at him?” Rosie asked.
I gave Rosie a cold stare, “Just got mad at him,” I said.
Francesco kicked him a bit, “So what are we going to do with him?”
“He’s one of the elements,” Alice said. “We should take him back to my basement under the basement.”
Everyone agreed. “How are we going to get out of here?” Alexis asked.
“How about we fly?” Rosie asked.
Francesco shook his head, “Sorry, I can’t carry all of you guys.”
“What do you think Alice?” Noelle asked.
“I think we should get a car,” Alice said slowly. Everyone turned their attention towards me. Why me?!?!?
I sighed, “I’ll go get a car, but you guys stay right here.”
Everyone nodded. Where in Hades did I park Mr. Crest’s car?!?!?
“Maybe you should wait for me?”
I turned around to find Alexis smiling at me, “Thought you might be lonely without someone coming with you.”
“Thanks,” I said.
We walked for a while in silence, when we reached the edge of the forest Alexis started a conversation with me.
“So, tell me who this Hunter person is,” she asked.
I stopped in my tracks, my heart began to flutter and I clenched my fists. I turned around to face her, “He’s an old friend of mine,” I said coldly. “Let’s find a Mr. Crest’s car and get away from here.”
I began to walk away when she grabbed my wrist with such strength.
“Tell me, you’re not alone,” she said.
I clenched my teeth, “I’ll tell you guys later, once we get back to Chicago safe and sound.”
“Fine, but you promise to tell all of us,” Alexis said.
As we got the car, I drove while Alexis took shotgun. I drove to the forest edge; from there Alexis got everyone inside the car. “What are we going to do with him?” I asked pointing at the unconscious Evan.
“I’d say we put him inside the trunk,” Rosie said.
“I’d say we put him in between Alice and Francesco,” Noelle said.
We all turned our attention towards Alice who was by then thinking of something.
“Sorry, just thinking about something,” she said.
“Well I guess I’ll agree with Noelle, sorry Thorn I know we hate him now but we don’t want to get pulled over.”
As everyone got inside the car, Noelle and I were the only ones outside. We smiled at each other, “Looks like our lives will change,” she said. “I wonder if we’re going to be normal teenagers ever again.”
“Quit looking into the future, we’re in the present right now,” I said. “Get inside or I’ll leave you here.”
“That’s mean,” she said.
As we all got inside the car, Alexis still was in shotgun and everyone else was sitting down thinking about their own problems. While driving on I-90 E, Alexis once again started to hold a conversation with me.
"Luna," Alexis said. "Did Maximus offer you something?"
My eyes were completely locked on the road, but my mind was trying to come up with a lie.
"If you really wanted to know then I guess there is no way for me to lie," I said. "Ever since I got a text message from Hunter I felt both relieved and scared at the same time. He texted not to bring Noelle with me, I agreed and walked all the way to the abandoned house he wanted me to go to."
I stopped for a while, I looked at the rearview mirror finding everyone sound asleep; I sighed and continued on:
"I thought for once I could confess to him about something, but when I arrived I found only Maximus. I didn't know what to do but listen to what he had to say.
"Luna," he said. "Why not help me? Your friend Alexis is rebelling against me, but I'll get her on my side sooner or later."
"Shut up!" I shouted. "I don't know a person named Alexis, but if you dare hurt any of the elements then so help me I'll personally beat you up all the way to Hades."
He laughed at me like it was a complete joke to him. “Nope instead would you like Hunter to be here rather than me?” I felt fire burning through my whole body how could a person so cruel torture an outcast of society like me around?
“You’re right I would rather have Hunter here,” I said.
He clapped his hand, “Well for my trick I’ll summon Hunter in front of you.”
Black smoke began to rise; I covered my mouth with my jacket sleeve. After the smoke disappeared I saw Hunter, his head down. I ran to him not knowing that his soul was sucked into the abyss.
Maximus popped out of nowhere and said: “Oh, isn’t that sad? Did I ever tell you Hunter is my nephew?” he said almost laughing.
“C’mon Hunt show Luna your power.” Hunter didn’t talk at all but put his hand up and pointed at my direction. Maximus laughed heartily. “Good! Now show her.”
Before I could blink or take a breath something killed me on the inside, I found myself on the floor with a bit of blood coming from my mouth. Maximus grinned, Hunter stood at his side looking at me with his blank expressionless eyes.
“Think about it,” Maximus said. “If you join I could reunite you with Hunter again, you won't have to die like your destined to. But if you rebel then I guess it’ll literally be your own death. I’ve read about your ancestral lineage Luna, your ancestor died in battle while protecting her friends; I bet you’ll die the same way your ancestor did.”
That’s why I’ve been crying Alexis, I can’t decide how to rescue Hunter or save my friends.”
Alexis smiled at me, “Well at least you got that off your shoulders.”
“Thanks for listening,” I said. “Get some sleep; we’ll be there in about ten hours or so.”
Alexis went to sleep and I still drove the car until our destination came to an end. “Trusting your friends is much better than going through a lonely road, Luna. Your ancestor Selene made that terrible mistake and paid for her bad deeds.”
I clenched the wheel, I turned on my Ipod and listened to my playlist consisting of Three Days Grace and Angel of Darkness.

Your spelling needs to be worked on, everyone. (Just a tip for you.) Yes, I know that you're typing rather quickly but still...
Ever since I was five(I think), I've been inspired by people using magic mostly without a need of a weapon (or the like) to do so. So when I found this on the 39 Clues Message Board, I couldn't help wondering how the heck someone came up with such a similar idea...but then again, someone would have thought up of the idea eventually. Let me tell you now, the genre of this story and similar ones is called mahou shoujo (magical girl), although sometimes girls aren't the ones using the magic. Mahou shoujo is a subgenre of fantasy.

Also, I've got a tonne (32 actually) of fanfiction stories, most of them are based on the mahou shoujo genre. Just Google MagicConan14.

Chapter#14: Alice's POV
I woke up with a jolt.
My vision was blurry and my tongue numb. I couldn’t feel the movement of the car at all.
What’s going on I thought
I rubbed my eyes and slowly my vision cleared. I was definitely not in the car.
I sat in a small clearing in a forest. Little yellow flowers grew on the border of the clearing and a gentle breeze blew through my hair.
Where am I
after a minute of taking in my surroundings I stood up and cupped my hands around my mouth
"Hello!!?” I shouted
"HELLO!!!" I shouted again
I waited for a minute but there was no reply
"I must be dreaming" I mumbled to myself
"I don’t think so" said a man's voice behind me
I quickly turned to see a man in his twenties sitting in one of the tree's surrounding the clearing
he had short blond hair and bright green eyes, he wore a white shirt with off white khakis and held a golden rod in one hand.
He had a calm expression and was holding a dandelion in his other, twirling it in between his fingers.
"Who are you?!?" I demanded
he looked up at me with a small smile, his eyes flashing yellow for a moment and then returning to their original state "my name is Elkros"
I folded my arms in annoyance "okay Mister 'Elkros' who are you, why am I here, where are my frien-"
"I will answer all your questions soon but first I want you to answer one of mine, what are you doing?"
"What?" I asked confused
he jumped down landing lightly on his feet
he dropped the dandelion and briskly walked towards me
I took a step back and he stopped
he was only few steps away from me.
then he started circling me, only my head moved to follow him
my hands were turned into fists, ready to blast this 'Elkros' dude with ten thousand watts of pure energy
all of a sudden he stopped in front of me and asked once again "What are you doing?"
"look can you be a little more specific since I’m doing a lot of things, like breathing, talki-"
"Not like that!" he snapped a look of annoyance flashed across his face but he quickly composed himself
"then !?!" I snapped back
"what are you doing with your quest? What are you trying to do, what is your objective?" he asked
his questions took me back, "my quest??? Look here mister it’s not my que-"
"but you are the leader of the group, No?"
"well yah but-"
"then what is 'your' quest's objective?" he asked, and turned his back to me
"well the quest is......it’s to stop maximus, but to do that we need all eight elementalist so we're looking for light elementalist" I said warily He turned towards me, tapped his chin for a minute then shrugged and said “you’re not that far off"
"I answered your question now you answer mine, who are you, where am I and where are my friends and what did you mean by not that far off?!?" I demanded
"I am Elkros, I was the light elementalist at the time of the great war with the atrector, the ancestor of this maximus you now fight, I was one of the last elementalist who had survived the war"
"so your my ancestor?" I asked
he nodded and said “indeed I am, I’ve called you here to provide you some help on your quest"
I looked at him warily and asked "so where is here exactly?"
"You are in the world of spirits; I called your soul here when you fell asleep." he said calmly
"and my friends?" I asked
"your friends are where you last left them, in the car driving back to Chicago" he answered
"and the 'not that far off' part? What about that?" I asked not taking my eyes off his golden rod
"I meant your quest, you said your quest is to stop maximus, but to do that you need all eight 'elementalist', correct?" he put strain on the word elementalist for some reason.
I nodded
"and you’re looking for the light 'elementalist'?" he continued still straining on the word
I nodded again
"well what if it’s not elementalist, but elements?" he asked with a small smile and the world started blurring around me, soon it was just white. A never ending fog stretched out for miles, I could just make out the outline of Elkros. Suddenly a bright light flashed behind me and a silver gate appeared, I felt a like I was being pulled into it.
""Wait, No!!! What did you mean by elements?" I asked as the pull grew stronger, I tried to keep my feet on the ground so I could hear Elkros' answer but the pull was just too strong and I flew into the gate but not before I heard Elkros' answer
"the prophecy was incorrectly read, find the book forgotten by time, discover the secret to creating light, the element to save all, not the elementalist" the world around me turned started to spin and then everything turned black.

I opened my eyes and i was back in my world, I looked around I was in my dad's car, we were in Chicago, about twenty minutes away from my house.
Luna was in the front driving and listing to music, thorn and Noelle were talking about something
and Francesco and Alexis were still asleep, lexi in the front, franchy in the back
No one had noticed that i was awake yet so i took the time to think about what elkros said.
I let all of Elkros words pass through me again and only one
plan came to mind
I decided I’d tell everyone when we got back
but all the pressure was on me, I’m the leader of the quest so I have to find a way to creat light
with all of our powers so we can defeat maximus before he destroys us
because there are only seven elementalist
and eight elements.......
I woke up with a jolt.
My vision was blurry and my tongue numb. I couldn’t feel the movement of the car at all.
What’s going on I thought
I rubbed my eyes and slowly my vision cleared. I was definitely not in the car.
I sat in a small clearing in a forest. Little yellow flowers grew on the border of the clearing and a gentle breeze blew through my hair.
Where am I
after a minute of taking in my surroundings I stood up and cupped my hands around my mouth
"Hello!!?” I shouted
"HELLO!!!" I shouted again
I waited for a minute but there was no reply
"I must be dreaming" I mumbled to myself
"I don’t think so" said a man's voice behind me
I quickly turned to see a man in his twenties sitting in one of the tree's surrounding the clearing
he had short blond hair and bright green eyes, he wore a white shirt with off white khakis and held a golden rod in one hand.
He had a calm expression and was holding a dandelion in his other, twirling it in between his fingers.
"Who are you?!?" I demanded
he looked up at me with a small smile, his eyes flashing yellow for a moment and then returning to their original state "my name is Elkros"
I folded my arms in annoyance "okay Mister 'Elkros' who are you, why am I here, where are my frien-"
"I will answer all your questions soon but first I want you to answer one of mine, what are you doing?"
"What?" I asked confused
he jumped down landing lightly on his feet
he dropped the dandelion and briskly walked towards me
I took a step back and he stopped
he was only few steps away from me.
then he started circling me, only my head moved to follow him
my hands were turned into fists, ready to blast this 'Elkros' dude with ten thousand watts of pure energy
all of a sudden he stopped in front of me and asked once again "What are you doing?"
"look can you be a little more specific since I’m doing a lot of things, like breathing, talki-"
"Not like that!" he snapped a look of annoyance flashed across his face but he quickly composed himself
"then !?!" I snapped back
"what are you doing with your quest? What are you trying to do, what is your objective?" he asked
his questions took me back, "my quest??? Look here mister it’s not my que-"
"but you are the leader of the group, No?"
"well yah but-"
"then what is 'your' quest's objective?" he asked, and turned his back to me
"well the quest is......it’s to stop maximus, but to do that we need all eight elementalist so we're looking for light elementalist" I said warily He turned towards me, tapped his chin for a minute then shrugged and said “you’re not that far off"
"I answered your question now you answer mine, who are you, where am I and where are my friends and what did you mean by not that far off?!?" I demanded
"I am Elkros, I was the light elementalist at the time of the great war with the atrector, the ancestor of this maximus you now fight, I was one of the last elementalist who had survived the war"
"so your my ancestor?" I asked
he nodded and said “indeed I am, I’ve called you here to provide you some help on your quest"
I looked at him warily and asked "so where is here exactly?"
"You are in the world of spirits; I called your soul here when you fell asleep." he said calmly
"and my friends?" I asked
"your friends are where you last left them, in the car driving back to Chicago" he answered
"and the 'not that far off' part? What about that?" I asked not taking my eyes off his golden rod
"I meant your quest, you said your quest is to stop maximus, but to do that you need all eight 'elementalist', correct?" he put strain on the word elementalist for some reason.
I nodded
"and you’re looking for the light 'elementalist'?" he continued still straining on the word
I nodded again
"well what if it’s not elementalist, but elements?" he asked with a small smile and the world started blurring around me, soon it was just white. A never ending fog stretched out for miles, I could just make out the outline of Elkros.
