Cahills: shipwrecked
Hello everyone who is reading this. I wanted to write a story, and I came up with this idea. It is only my second story, so please give me pointers, but be nice! :) hope you enjoy CAHILLS: SHIPWRECKED!!!
Amys pov
Amy awoke with the worst headache of her life. It felt as if someone was hitting her head with a hammer. This, by far, had to be the worst moment of her life, and that's a lot to say considering Amys awful life.
Well, not awful, Just hard. Amy had adventures, seen the world, been on top of mount Everest, and had succeeded in the greatest prize ever known to any Cahill that has ever lived: the 39 clues.
Amy had thought that her adventures would be over by then, but it turned out there was another family. The vespers.
Long- story short, they kidnapped seven of their closest friends and family, and made them steal priceless artifacts.
They had eventually defeated the vespers and got all of their family back, safe and sound, untill now. Amy still didn't know where she was. Her eyes were still closed, and she knew it would take all of her energy just to open them. But, Amy couldnt stay lieing there for hours, she had to open them. On the count of three, Amy thought,
One............two.............three!!!!!!!
Amys eyes opened slowly, and she found herself staring at something blue. Blue. Blue is the color of the ocean. The ocean has boats. I was on a boat.
Amy suddenly remembered everything that had happened. They were celebrating the defeat of the vespers, by going on one of jonahs yachts. They would go on a one week cruise. On day two, the storms hit. There were huge waves, lightning, and monstrous hail.
Amy tried to remember who was on the boat. The seven hostages, Nellie, fiske, Natalie, Reagan, Phoenix, alister, and Ted, Ian, Evan, sinead, and Dan!!
Dan!!!! That gave Amy enough energy to sit up. She was now looking at an island. She was on a beach, with palm-trees and she had been looking at the clear blue sky. But, she was alone.
Amy saw the ruined boat realizing how badly it was damaged. About how even an ekat couldn't fix it. Not even Katherine herself could fix it!!!
That's when she heard someone yell "Amy!!!!"
Please tell me if I should continue. I'm going to write a pov for all the people who were on board!!! Please be easy on me and I hope you like my story!!!

Melissa-I really like this story! Just remember-Capitalization and puntuation mattter. My dyslexic makes it really hard for me sometimes with that sort of thing, but I'm always seem to notice. But that's not your fault. I really like it!!!

Yeah I have dyslexia, so sometimes I can't read very well or talk perfectly. I also have a stutter. I express my self not through speeking or reading, but through writing, dancing, and acting.

Hay!!!!!! I'm going to update, becuase I just found wifi and an iPad. I'm still on vaca though. Ok, so ya, I'm gonna write.
Alister's pov: Storm Warning
Alister, Amy, and Ian were working on the last bed. Finally, Alister thought. It had taken them 2 weeks. And now they could start on a real shelter. But, for now they were sleeping under the stars.
Alister had been slowly slipping back into saness. It helped that he had a job to do. All he did all day was focusing on building beds. When he was a hostage, he had absolutely nothing to do. But sit around and stare at the same white walls. Talking about the same things. Talking to the same people. Thinking about the same things. Doing the same things. Now that he was thinking about it, no wonder he was going insane.
"Will he ever shut up?" Ian asked.
Hamilton was sitting around muttering to himself, "I have 2 sisters. One is named Reagon and one is named.......... Hmmmmm.... Madeline? No, no Madison. And a mom and a dad. They are named...... Ok. They are named, Maddy-Toad? No, Marry-Todd. Mary-Todd Holt. And a father. A father named Eisenhower. Yes. That's it. " he had been doing that for hours. Or, what seemed like hours. For, no watches survived the crash. But, it was still annoying. But, he had lost his family. How could you be rude to someone who had lost all his memory? You would have to have no heart.
"I would like to see you lose your memory and see how you deal with it." Alister snapped.
Although Alister had been slipping into sanity, he had been very grumpy. He had noticed it. Especially towards Ian. Ian loved to complain. It could be his speciality. Whether it was about being hungry, being tired, or really about anything. Sometimes it was becuase his shirt had mud on it. Other times it was becuase he tripped and fell. But, no matter what the reason, he was always complaining.
"I'm tired. Alright!" Ian complained.
Complaining again, alister thought. He rolled his eyes and when he looked up, he noticed something. There were clouds. Now, to anyone else, clouds would have been completely normal. But, for the past few days, they had seen nothing but sun. The heat was blinding. The sunburns were the worst, though. Laying at night, they stung and you could never get into a good position. Then you go to sleep, hurting. And eventually the pain lullabies you to bed.
But, now there were clouds. But, not just any clouds. Black clouds. Like, the color of midnight, with no moon or stars. The color of a black hole. Rain clouds. It had not rained since the night they had crashed. It would be nice, if it hadn't been so dark. These were clouds you see right before a hurricane. This would be no calm rain. This would be a storm.
"Amy!" Alister said, "Look at the clouds. I think there's gonna be a storm, a big one."
Amy looked up and gasped. "Oh, no." she said.
Ian grunted, "I'm gonna get my hair wet."
"could you think of anyone but yourself?" Amy asked.
That made Ian shut up. Although Amy didn't notice it, Alister could tell he still had feeling for her. Sometimes, during his breaks, all he would do is stare at her. And other times, he would glance at her, and smile. Little things like that. Every time Amy would get mad at him, he would just be quiet and listen.
"We need to get everyone here and make a plan." Amy said. "You get the people who are working on the boat. Ian, you and I will get the people collecting the food. Hamilton! You stay here."
"what?" Hamilton asked.
"Great, okay you all know what to do?" Amy asked.
"yeah," Ian mumbled.
"yes," Alister said.
"What?" Hamilton asked.
"Excellent, go and warn the others." Amy screamed.
Alister ran, there was a storm on the way.
Well, hope you all like. I'm in a hotel right now, watching Matilda. If you haven't seen this movie, you should. It is very good. Kind of cheesy, but it was made a while ago. Anyway, I'm tired. Goodbye!

Hello Fellow humans,
Its me. Melissa, Mel, Lissa, whatever you want to call me. Anyway, I going to post as much as I can before my grandma tells me to get off. I made a deal with someone that if they continue with a long post on there story, so would I. So, here I am. Posting. *everone claps in the background*.
Dan's pov: The Storm
It was agonizing. Fiske was so light. You would think that 2 boys carrying a full grown, old, paralyzed man would be heavy, but I t wasn't. He was extremely light. And it helped that Dan had take the serum. You think it wouldnt bother him, you know. Just carrying him no matter how light he was. But, it was like being a college graduate stuck I kindergarten class. You know you can do more.
Dan knew he could carry Fiske alone. But, he didn't want people knowing he took the serum. That was another agonizing part. Not being able to tell anyone. It was like having five people live in you. And they kept on telling you what o do, and you didn't know which one to listen to. It was very annoying.
At the moment, they were looking for berries. They had certain spots where they usually fond berries, but Fiske always insisted on finding new areas for food. So, they went exploring. They were walking through the jungle, when they heard something. And, it wasn't just a regular noise you hear. It was, like a duck. Yes. A duck. They had found a duck on there first day, but not since then. And Dan was craving Meat.
"I got it." Pheonix said. About to take off after the delicious animal.
"wait," Dan said, "you have that arm. Let's set fiske down and I'll get it."
"Cool, with me, yo." Jonah said.
"Who cares," Natalie said.
She didn't seem to care a lot lately.
"Fine." Pheonix said. Dan and Jonah set fiske down and Dan ran, quietly, after the duck. He ran towards it. But, when it ran behind a bush, he stopped. He heard something. A song? It was faint, but it was There definitely there.
Then he saw something. Behind the bush. He could almost feel it. He almost felt like he was being drawn to it. Like how magnets were drawn towards each other. He knew this thing. And he wanted it. He didn't understand the feeling at all. But, he was about to move the giant leaves standing in between him and the....... Thing. He moved the bush ever so slightly, when someone people came up behind him.
"Dan, guys. There is a storm coming. We have to prepare for it." It was Amy.
Then Dan saw it. Not really, it was more like a second. Not even that. Get a second then split it in half. Then split it in half again. Split it in half one more time, and that is how long he saw it. And, it scared him. It ran off and the song stopped.
The next thing he knew, his butt was on the ground. And, he was staring at the exact same spot he had been. Was it really a........ He didn't let his mind finish the thought.
"DAN!" Amy screamed. Although she was loud, to Dan she felt miles away. And everything didn't seem to happen at regular speed. It just seemed like Amy was running slow motion and was yelling from the other side of the world. All his mind kept on going to was what he saw.
"Dan, are ou alright? What happened. You look like ounce just seen a ghost." Amy said.
Dan could've said many things. Like, he could have said something cunning like, "oh nothing. And besides, even if it was a ghost, I could find a way to rule over it and knock him out." or,on his ekat side, "On no. You see, all I saw was some berries and I slipped and banged my ear." Completely ignoring what he saw. Or on his to as side, "I'm not scared. Do want a good knocking to the mouth?" or some completely made up story from the Janus side like, "hahahaha. All I saw was a marvelous butterfly which had the oddest pattern in its left wing that made me so stunned I fell." or on his madrigal side, "Nothing, just tripped." And then hug Amy like he would never see her again. But........ There was another option. Screaming in his mind. It wasn't Jane, Luke, Katherine, Thomas, or Madeline. It was...... Dan.
Somewhere deep inside him, Dan had an answer. There was sill Dan inside him. And, at that moment, he knew what Dan would say.
"I think I just did."
As they were walking back to the camp site, Dan explained to everyone. What he saw. Everyone looked at him as if he were insane, except Pheonix.
"Did you hear a song. Like, someone singing?" Pheonix asked.
"Yeah, I couldn't tell who was singing it though. Or what the song was, but it was definitely familiar." Dan said, almost forgetting about the song.
"wait, you heard a song?" Amy asked,
"Yeah, why?" Dan asked suspiciously.
"Oh, no reason" Amy said, quickly turning her head, making sure not to catch Dan's eye. Dan knew something was up. But, he would ask her later. Now, wasn't the time. The storm was coming.
When they got back to the camp, Amy told everyone to sit down on the logs they had.
"Listen, the storm is coming. It could be anywhere from a light rain, to a hurricane. We have to prepare for the worst. Luckily I have saved a portion of our foods in case of an emergency like this. We need to make sure it can't get wet or washed away. Alister and I will waterproof it. We also need one person to give up there bed to help store water. I will gladly do this....."
"Wait!" Dan screamed,"I would like to give up my bed for storing water."
"Dan, are you sure? I don't want you getting sick." Amy said, concern dripping from her face.
"I'm positive." Dan said. And besides, he's less likely to get sick from the serum. He's stronger than them. And only he knew.
"okay, Dan's bed will be used as a water catcher. And, we will need some people to get the largest leaves they can for blankets and protection. Ummm.... Let's have Reagon, Natalie, and Dan do that. We will need Evan and Ian to waterproof Dan's bed to store water. Can Jonah and Hamilton bring water from the stream to Dan's bed and we will need Nellie and Ted to set out seashells or anything to catch water. We don't what's going to happen and we need to make the best of it, okay? Get to work as fast as you can." Amy said.
Dan, Natalie, and Reagon met up and decided to split up. While Dan was finding leaves, he heard Amy and alister talking and stopped. His Lucian side was screaming listen.....listen.....listen. He would have ignored the urge, if he had not heard his name.
"I mean, Dan has changed since the clue hunt. Before, I would've given anything for him to mature like this. But.... Once you realize how little childhood cahills have, you want to make the most of it. And, I was always a little jealous of Dan in that aspect. I mean, he was a kid. And know, it's not just that he growed up. It's that he's different. More darker. Not goth or anything, but...... Before I could almost always know what he was thinking. Now I have no clue." Amy said.
"Well, maybe it's shock from crashing." Alister suggested.
"No, becuase I saw it. Even before the crash. He's just not the same.mAnd, he actually thought he saw a ghost. Like pheonix thought. And, he wasn't joking or pulling a prank. I don't know if he's making it up or if he's going crazy" Amy said.
"Eavesdropping, are you?" a silky British voice said behind him. It was Natalie.
You would think, with 5 people living inside him he wold comeup with something to say. But he couldn't. He just stood there. His mouth shut, to scared to open.
"Listen, I know you took it." Natalie said.
"took what?" Dan asked.
"The serum. I know you drank the serum. My mother drank part of it. You don't think I'd notice the same with you?" Natalie said.
"Listen. You made a big mistake. You may have defeated Vesper one, but you have no idea what you just did to yourself. It can never go away. You will always be like you are now. My own mother shot me. Do you want to do that to your kids? I think not. I'm not telling anyone on one condition."
"what's that?" Dan asked.
"I carry Fiske." she said.
"Why do you wan to carry Fiske?" Dan asked. He was glad she wanted to carry him, but why?
She sighed as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "becuase, I would like to talk more to Jonah."
"huh?"
"I'm pretty much stuck to talk with Pheonix The whole time. I was already stuck with him as a hostage. Now he's the only one I talk to. You and Jonah talk and I need a new face. Please."
"sure," Dan said. Just being glad that he got to talk with Pheonix. It was annoying hearing, 'yo' in practically every sentence.
They returned to the camp, each with around 8 leaves the size of Dan. They had saw Dan's bed which had been turned into a water storing facility. It looked fine to Dan, but obviously Ian and Evan were fighting. Again.
"I think we should add another layer of sticks," Evan said.
"And, if we did that, it would break." Ian said.
"No it wouldn't."
"Yes it would" Ian said.
Dan decided to tune out the argument and tried to figure out where to sleep. He got a stick and tried to dig the best whole he could to sleep in.
Whenever everyone came back from preparations, Amy had some food to eat.
"ok guys, today we're having a berry salad." Nellie said.
"Wow, when you say it like that, it actually sound good." Natalie said ssarcastically.
"would you rather starve," Nellie challenged.
"Yum berry salads are my favorite." Natalie said with no emotion, but shut up and ate. Thats when they heard lightning and thunder. And the rain came on. First, as a light sprinkle. Then it got heavier and heavier.
"everyone in your beds. Grab some leaves as blankets. Hurry." Amy screamed.
Dan ran to his whole he had dug earlier. Luckily it fit him just write. He layer there as the rain pounded harder and harder. He couldn't even tell if it was rain or hail. He just could wait until. It was over. Eventually fatigue built over him. And Dan sliped into unconsciousness.
