Hey this is a plot I came up with. Let me know what you think!
~~~Prologue~~~
"Cassandra! Come here, right now!" Mom called. What now? I thought. She always had something she needed, but this time there was something about her voice that made me hurry.
"Yea? What do you need?" I asked walking through the door. But when I saw her face I stopped dead in my tracks. She was white as a ghost, and looked like she was going faint. I hurried over and helped her into a chair. The phone she was holding slipped out of her hands onto the floor.
"He-they..." She stuttered.
"Mom! Whats wrong!" I was near panick, there were a million things running through my mind. She looked at me, her eyes filling with tears.
"Honey, its about Luke and Matthew," Oh God, my brother and best friend. "They have been missing since yesterday. They were supposed to be at work at nine, but they didn't show up. Some friends went to their appartment. They have completely went off the grid." She gasped out. I was stunned, my breathing started coming heavily, and I felt my legs giving way, then everything went black.

She looked at the piece of paper in her hand. Why would Matt write me jiberish? Cassie asked herself. Well it has to mean something! Shaking her head, she turned to go to the livingroom. I'm going to have to move on soon, before sunrise at least. She told herself. She sat at the kitchen bar, and put her head in her hands. How am I going to do this? She jumped as the door opened.
Standing up silently, she grabbed one of the knives off of the counter. I thought I locked the door? Then again, that's what I get for thinking. Cassie smiled grimly at the words Luke had told her so many time. That she had hit him over the head for so many times. She heard the foot steps getting closer, they don't sound like Joe or Mom's, Cassie observed thankfully. Hiding behind the wall that separates the kitchen from the tiny hall, she counted the steps. Cassie raised the knife, her hands were shaking. Just as she was about to jump out at the approaching footsteps, the person, to whom the footsteps belongs, rounded the corner.
"What the HECK!?" Cried a man, in any other circumstance she would have laughed at his face. But not today.
"Ah! Dang you Nolan!" Cassie recognising the face, stomped her foot, the stupid guy was always getting in her way. "What are you doing here!?" She asked him, trying to keep herself from punching him.
"I heard that Luke and Matt were missing, and I wan'ted to see if they left a clue to where they went." He told Cassie, "But I guess you beat me to it. Tell me, do you parents know your gone?" He asked her in his annoying, common sence way. She motioned for him to join her at the table, as she herself sat down.
"They don't know, at least not yet. And they won't ever, EVER know where I went." Cassie stated, glaring at Nolan. He was skinny, and looked very nerdy. With his Justin Beiber haircut and those retro glasses that were coming back into style. His one strong suit, bright green eyes, were still nice. But that was about it, smiling Cassie realized that he was squirming under her stare. This is going to be easy to get rid of him, she told herself. Even though, there was a nagging little doubt, she was positive she had locked the door. How could he have gotten in so noiselessly if he hadn't of had key?
Then his eyes landed on the peice of paper, which was still bothering Cassie. "What do you have there?" His curiosity getting the best of him.
She shook her head, "It's something that I found, I think Matt wrote it to me, but I have no idea what it says." Giving it to him, against Cassie's better judgement. "How did you get in here anyways?" She asked.
He held up a key, "Why pick a lock when you have a key?" Nolan laughed at his little joke. How lame can he get? Cassie asked herself.
"How did you get a key?" She asked, wondering if maybe he would be okay to trust.
Looking up from studying the paper, "They didn't tell you?" His eyes met Cassie's, and he winced at the hurt on her face. "We were working together, on a.... um... thing." The way he squirmed told Cassie that there was something he wasn't telling her. But she decided to let it rest for the time being. There was one thing she was sure of, she needed him.

Okay, so I kinda forgot to say earlier, this is before the Clue Hunt and the Vespers and everything...
Well, Nolan! It's pretty obvious to anyone with a brain that it is an A to B ratio!” I nearly yelled. He was really driving me nuts. I knew I was right but he wouldn't let me have it to decode. “Luke, Matt and I always used that when we were little! So, of course, when they are writing something to me, the would use that cypher!” I glared at him. “Give. Me. The. Note.” I demanded, with an icily cold voice.
“No. It's not that cypher! I would know I'm an Ek--” Nolan started, but caught himself.
“A what?!” I asked, raising my voice again. This was getting to be too much. He was keeping way too many things from me, and I had been here with him for just an hour! Nolan was just standing up, to come over to me probably. When the door burst open.
“What the!?” I yelled, there were a bunch of teenagers standing in my brothers entryway. And they were holding dart guns, DART GUNS!!! There was no way this could be happening to me. And of course they were all kids from my school, most of them were the 'cool kids'. I quickly recognized Eliana, Alex and Evan. They were kids from my class, always hanging out in their little group. They were pretty nice, but I was more of a loner at school. Arianna was from Nolan, Luke, and Matt's class.
When they all saw me, I could see them relaxing. Eli was the first to put away the dart gun, followed by Alex and Evan.
Finally Arianna put hers away. “You okay Nolan? We heard yelling, and thought you might be in some trouble.”
He nodded, looking at me warily. “I'm fine, Cassie is just having an emotional response to her Luke and Matt going missing.”
“NO!” I cried, cutting in, “He wouldn't let me decode the code Matt left me!” I said glaring at him. Eliana stepped forward, putting her hand on my shoulder. I shoved her off, “Don't touch me. Not until you guys tell me what the heck is going on!” I told them, angry at myself for letting my voice crack.
“First I need to see the code.” Alex said, stepping forward. Nolan sat me down and gently took the paper from my hands. I didn't even fight him. I watched as they all crowded around the piece of paper, as if it was worth a million dollars. Their eyes were scanning the page, especially Evans. He looked as if he could read it without cyphering it. Evan's eyes grew wide, as if it had finally dawned on him.
“No way,” He murmured to himself, “I mean, we thought... but he wouldn't have...”
“Evs, it doesn't say what I think it says... Does it?” Asked Arianna, her eyes growing wide. He nodded grimly.
“He's right guys, I thought that was what it said, but I wasn't sure... that's why I texted you.” They all looked at each other, fear in their eyes.
“Okay,” I butted in, looking at Nolan. “I think you have some explaining to do.”

Okay, here is the next part!!! I'm sorry it took me so long, but here it is. And I have the next part in my head, I just have to write it down, so hopefully it will be coming in the next few days!!

Cass's pov~
They had led me to Luke and Matt's living room, and I now watched as Arianna stepped forward to the bookshelf. She pulled out a my dads book, Love's Labor's Won. Which I had always thought was odd that we had one, I mean it had to be a knockoff because it was Shakespeare's lost play. There was no copy of it, anywhere. Once I had googled it, cause dad had been obsessed with it, and found that no-one had any idea what it was. There were lots of theories that it was an alternate title for another play, but nothing concrete. We were always a very artsy family, dad loved plays, I loved music, and Luke loved painting. This was the one place you could always tell Matt wasn't blood related. He was much more interested in spying and survival skills. Still this book had so many memories attached to it, it seemed wrong to have anyone touching it other than my dad.
“What is she doing! That was my dad's book, put it back!” I demanded, rushing forward. But instead of Arianna putting it back, the bookshelf itself pulled it back. I watched in awe as the shelves split in two and slid back, revealing a secret room. Everyone went into it as if they had been doing this for a long time. And then it hit me, they had. How many other secrets had Luke and Matt kept from me, what else did they not tell me. I didn't even know that they talked to Eliana, Alex and Evan. And I had NO idea that Nolan was a such a friend as to have a key to their apartment, that any of them should have a key to their apartment. That Alex, a girl I had never really gotten to know, would know about this secret room, and I wouldn't.
I could feel my eyes filling up, “Why would you know about this, and I wouldn't?” I demanded from Nolan, my voice cracking. My anger was gone, and all that was left was an emptiness that had me wanting the anger back.

Cass's pov~
They had led me to Luke and Matt's living room, and I now watched as Arianna stepped forward to the bookshelf. She pulled out a my dads book, Love's Labor's Won. Which I had always thought was odd that we had one, I mean it had to be a knockoff because it was Shakespeare's lost play. There was no copy of it, anywhere. Once I had googled it, cause dad had been obsessed with it, and found that no-one had any idea what it was. There were lots of theories that it was an alternate title for another play, but nothing concrete. We were always a very artsy family, dad loved plays, I loved music, and Luke loved painting. This was the one place you could always tell Matt wasn't blood related. He was much more interested in spying and survival skills. Still this book had so many memories attached to it, it seemed wrong to have anyone touching it other than my dad.
“What is she doing! That was my dad's book, put it back!” I demanded, rushing forward. But instead of Arianna putting it back, the bookshelf itself pulled it back. I watched in awe as the shelves split in two and slid back, revealing a secret room. Everyone went into it as if they had been doing this for a long time. And then it hit me, they had. How many other secrets had Luke and Matt kept from me, what else did they not tell me. I didn't even know that they talked to Eliana, Alex and Evan. "We are all part of a family called the Cahills, an-" Alex started.
"Whoa, wait just a second, who is 'We'" I asked, making air quotes when I said 'we'.
"We as in, Arianna, Alex, Evan, Luke, Matt, Nolan, you and Me." Stated Eliana. Were family? The thought hit me, what about Matt?
"So we are all related, like cousins?" I quieried.
Nolon gave me a non-commital shrug, "Well really we are like super, super distant cousins. Like if we didn't know we were related, there would be no way to prove we are related."
"Okay..." I nodded at Alex to continue.
"There are four branches, Ekaterina, Lucian, Janus, and Tomas." Alex said.
Holding up my hand again, "So what branch am I in, and are Luke and I in the same branch?"
"You are a Janus, and yes you are both in the same branch."
"So what are all of you guys, and what is so special about the branches?" I asked.
"Eli and Evan are Lucians, Alex is Tomas, Nolan Ekat, and I'm a Janus along with you and Luke," Arianna said. "Oh and Matt is a Lucian."
I nodded trying to get my head around this, as Evan piped up. He had been quiet for the majority of the conversation, "The Ekats are the 'Brains' of the family. Their good at gadget's and gizmo's and things like that, and they are usually genious'. Like you know... Albert Einstien?"
"Whoa, Nolan is related to Albert, freaking, EINSTIEN?!" I cried, "There is NO way... he is MUCH too annoying!" Nolan glared at me.
"I agree..." Muttered Alex under her breath.
Eli rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Lucians, my branch, are the strategists and the leaders. Think George Washington, or Napoleon?"
"That would make sence, if Matt's a Lucian, he always was the natural leader of the bunch of us..." I muttered to myself, though Arianna heard, she came over and squeezed my arm.
"You're going to see them again. We will all make sure of that." I gave her a weak smile.
"Please continue... Tomas?"
"Ah...yes, the Tomas, the best of all the branches..." Alex started.
"Actually-"
"Shut up Nolan. Anywho... Tomas are the athletes, the warriors. I mean... have you seen Peyton Manning lately?"
I nodded my head, understanding what she was saying. Lucians may be good at war strategies but it took Tomas to carry them out.
Arianna took over, "Janus are the-"
"Musical ones." I interjected. Arianna raised an eyebrow, "I mean, Luke and Dad and I were all obsessed with music and art-sy stuff like that..."
"Well you are right! Kind of... Were Artisic. Some are talented singers, other pianists," She said motioning to me, "Others are world famous actors, and then there are the paintings..." She got a dreamy look.
"That's why you like my brother." I plurted out, immediately regretting my words.
"What did you say?" She asked, her voice decievingly calm.
"I meant, you know, my brother likes you, and its probably because you love art the same way he does... and of course because your pretty." I quickly added, attempting to appease the girl.
Nolan was sniggering, and Eli was blushing. Apparently that was a touchy subject.
Sooooooooooooo... there is the next part... I know it has been boring, but things are going to pick up pretty soon! I think I will do either Luke or Matt's pov next... let me know what you think would be best!!!
