Hey this is a plot I came up with. Let me know what you think!
~~~Prologue~~~
"Cassandra! Come here, right now!" Mom called. What now? I thought. She always had something she needed, but this time there was something about her voice that made me hurry.
"Yea? What do you need?" I asked walking through the door. But when I saw her face I stopped dead in my tracks. She was white as a ghost, and looked like she was going faint. I hurried over and helped her into a chair. The phone she was holding slipped out of her hands onto the floor.
"He-they..." She stuttered.
"Mom! Whats wrong!" I was near panick, there were a million things running through my mind. She looked at me, her eyes filling with tears.
"Honey, its about Luke and Matthew," Oh God, my brother and best friend. "They have been missing since yesterday. They were supposed to be at work at nine, but they didn't show up. Some friends went to their appartment. They have completely went off the grid." She gasped out. I was stunned, my breathing started coming heavily, and I felt my legs giving way, then everything went black.

Okay well here is the next part of the story!!!
Oh crap, my head hurts, I thought to my self. I forced my eyes open to a bright, sunny afternoon. What am I doing in bed on a day like this? Thats when it all came flooding back, Luke my twenty-year-old brother and Matthew our best friend, were missing. My breaths started to come in short gasps, and I could feel myself slipping away again. But instead of succumming to the sweet ignorance of sleep, I sat up. I need to stay strong for them.
Slipping out of bed, I walked over to my dresser. I picked up the picture of the three of us. Luke and I shared bright blue eyes, and light brown hair. Though mine is curly, like dads, and his is straight. Matt has dark brown curly hair, and those kind of green eyes that make girls go crazy. It was a picture from my seventeenth birthday party, almost a year ago now.
I heard voices down stairs, so I went over and listened behind the door.
"Andrea I will not spend a fortune trying to find them. They are nearly grown men, I think they can take care of themselves." Stated Joe, my step-father.
"But they never would leave like this on purpose. Luke hasn't even called Cassandra!" My mother cried.
"Trust me I know this. But I will not look for them, and I forbid you to call the police." He was nearly yelling now. I heard my mothers sobs. Luke and I had always disliked Joe.
But until a few months ago, we had just let him be. That was until he started yelling at mom. One time when he was home, we had heard Joe yelling at mom, Luke ran down the stairs and tore into Joe. I mean like really let him have it, and of course I had to get involved. So we aren't really on talking terms with Joe. But I never knew he hated Luke that much, to forbit mom from even calling the police. Thats when I knew, if adults wouldn't even attempt to save Luke and Matt, then I would.
Hey sorry its so short... but I wouldn't even be able to explain how busy of a day it was!!! Please comment, and I would love some constuctive criticism!

Later that night I snuck into the kitchen. Which wasn't very hard, since evry one else was asleep. I cooked a lot, so it was pretty easy to find everything I needed. Though the next part was going ot be a little trickier. There were emergency packs, that dad had bought before he died, under the master bed. I smiled to myself, he was always a stickler for being prepared, from fire drills to shooting a gun, he had made sure we were going to be okay. And now, I'm sure he would do the same thing as I am doing now. He would go save my brother and my best friend. So I headed to the master bed room, which just happened to have mom and Joe in it. Just my luck.
The door to the bed room swung open silently, sending a silent prayer of thanks I poked my head around the door. And I found that my luck had just ran out. Mom was awake.
"Cassie? What are you doing in here?" She asked me, with a very suspicious look.
"Um..." I started, unfortunately I hadn't made up a cover up story, I really have to remember that! I reprimanded myself. "I-I...I can't sleep and I was wanting to look at the photo album of when Luke and I were little. You know..." And she did know.
She nodded her head, "Of course dear, maybe we could look at it together?" She asked.
"No!" I cried, then I saw the look on her face. "I mean, not right now. Maybe later, but right now i just have to be alone."
She gave me a sad smile, "I understand. Well you can get those albums and head to your room." Laying back down, "I love you."
"Thanks mommy, I love you too." I whispered to her back. Quickly I ducked under the bed and pulled out the album, we didn't want mom waking up in the morning and wondering why the album was still there, and the emergency packs. Then I almost ran out of the room.

Streching, I locked the door to my car. It had been a long drive from my home to the middle of NY city. (fake mods, please delete in parethesis) Well really four hours, but it felt like eternity knowing that Luke and Matt wouldn't be there to greet me. But I had to come here to do some investgating. So with that I headed into the building.
The door rattled as I unlocked it. I glanced around making sure no one heard me, and stepped into the familiar appartment. Luke and Matt's appartment. My eyes scanned the room hungrily, landing on the baby grand piano that held tons of pictures of the three of us.
I felt tears well up in my eyes, "How could they possibly be gone?" I asked myself, still hearing their voices all around me. I walked through the appartment, the last room I visited being Matt's.
"Hmm... I wonder where the pictures of his girl friend are?" I said to myself looking around. I saw tons of pictures of Luke, Matt, and me, but none of Penny. I felt something funny run through my stomach. "They must have broken up, but why didn't he tell me? Usually he's like totally crushed." I shook my head, smiling. And was about to leave the room when I saw one of the pictures of us was weird. One of the corners of the photo was out of its frame.
Picking it up, I turned it over and pulled off the back, and fixed it. As I set if back where it was supposed to be, I saw a small piece of paper on the ground. "Where did that come from?" I murmered to myself. Opening it up I saw what it said.
O_o Cliff Hanger!!!!
Sorry its so short, and it took so long for me to get it up. But we have been working cows and have been so busy! Thank you to everyone reading and I would still LOVE some constructive criticism!

"Where am I?" Wincing, as the sound of my voice bounced off the cold stone walls. It was so loud in all the quietness of this chamber. Chamber? Really? I asked myself. Then I realized that it was a better description of the room than I gave myself credit for. It was like all the tower "chambers" I had ever imagined. Complete with a massive, cold fireplace. Cassie would be so excited to be here. And with that one thought everything that had happened in the last week came flooding back.
Finding the evidence against Joe, confronting him, writing out a note for Cassie because we were sure we would be hurt, and then that fateful night. The night when they were kidnapped, he and Luke stood no chance against the big, burly, secret agent-looking men who were sent to take them, not because they had guns or because they knew how to kill a man with their bare hands. But because they threatened to hurt Cassie.
"Luke!" I said to myself, silently repremanding myself for not thinking of him earlier. Panicking, for I couldn't see him anywhere. Then I saw his foot sticking out of an alcove. I didn't know what I would have done if something would have happened to Luke, he is my best friend and the closest thing to a brother I have. With that I let my eyes wander around the room. They landed on a window, with open shudders and no glass or bars.
"Now why in the world would they keep us prisoner in a room that we could just crawl out the window," I asked myself walking over to the window. I poked my head out, and found out why they didn't bother to block any of the windows.
I was looking down on a massie battlement, surrounded by a moat, yes you heard right, a moat. "There is no way we could get out of this room, let alone get out of this castle." I told myself, yet there was an idea forming, that I just couldn't grasp yet. I pushed it out of my thoughts, and they involutarily went to Cassie. Her long, golden hair, bright blue eyes, and most of all her smile. It can make anyones day better. Oh, I miss her. I thought to myself.
Shaking myself from my revarie, I walked over to Luke. "Dude, get up..." And just as I said that the door opened.

Finding the evidence against Joe, confronting him, writing out a note for Cassie because we were sure we would be hurt, and then that fateful night. The night when they were kidnapped, he and Luke stood no chance against the big, burly, secret agent-looking men who were sent to take them, not because they had guns or because they knew how to kill a man with their bare hands. But because they threatened to hurt Cassie.
"Luke!" I said to myself, silently repremanding myself for not thinking of him earlier. Panicking, for I couldn't see him anywhere. Then I saw his foot sticking out of an alcove. I didn't know what I would have done if something would have happened to Luke, he is my best friend and the closest thing to a brother I have. With that I let my eyes wander around the room. They landed on a window, with open shudders and no glass or bars.
"Now why in the world would they keep us prisoner in a room that we could just crawl out the window," I asked myself walking over to the window. I poked my head out, and found out why they didn't bother to block any of the windows.
I was looking down on a massie battlement, surrounded by a moat, yes you heard right, a moat. "There is no way we could get out of this room, let alone get out of this castle."
