Here is the prologue:
A long time ago a necklace was made with special powers but no one knew what secret powers it had because the necklace would only work for certain chosen people. So the necklace was handed down from generation to generation without finding the chosen people. Finally on a hot summer afternoon the necklace fell into the hands of a group freinds and with that group the necklace would change the world.

The Secret of the Necklace
I read the other post and found out its my turn so...
Chapter 1
Kaitlyn's POV
I sat on the bench in front of my school waiting for my mom to pick me up. I checked the time, 3:10. I got out of school at 2:35. I waited, I was getting impatient. The only other person there was the cop. He seemed to be staring at me. His dark shades covered his eyes. I clutched onto my pocket knife. Clouds covered the sky, and it became darker than usual. No one else was waiting, they had all left.
The cop went over to me. "Waiting for your momma ain't you?" he said in a southern accent. I nodded, and I noticed something.... He was holding A gun. "How bout you call your momma and you can go home." he said. "I already did." I replied. He stood there staring at me, and I clutched my pocket knife. "What you holding? A necklace? Let me see!" he eagerly exclaimed. My heart pounded as he grabbed my purse. I screamed in horror, and opened my pocket knife and gave the cop quite a cut. "Give me the necklace! The necklace of life!!!" he yelled. I stood up and ran from him. I spotted my moms car, and banged on the windshield. My mom quickly unlocked the car. I opened it and hopped inside.
The policeman banged on the car. My mom stepped on the gas pedal. And te car rushed away. Leaving the cop behind. I heard the cop yell,"Give me the necklace!!!!!"
I had no idea what it was about, but it was probably something else he mistaken me for, that, or he is just a lunatic!

i was cold wet and frusterated,my brother hadnt come to pick me up yet so i decided to walk home which was alot harder when it strated raining .
i started shivering as i walked on the sidewalk,than i noticed something,a small cat with snow white hair was standing in front of me,it was raining so heavily ,yet oddly the cat was dry and fluffy as if it just came out of some pet salon.
i walked up to it slowly and said"hi kitty what are you doin-"
all of a sudded it hissed at me and a voice so clear and elegant passed through my mind saying"the necklace is near,you must help the boy protect it"
and then it just disappered,i heard a car horn and looked onto my right a car was stopping next to me the window opened .it was kaitlin's mom,i knew her from last years bake off she was one of the judges.
"hi alice ,come on in i'll drive you to your house,you looke absolutly terrible why in the world were you out in the rain?"she said obviously concerned
"thanks"i said as i opened the door
kaitlin was sitting in the back she smiled as i sat down next to her
we were sort a friends we knew each other ,and were usually science partners but we never realy talked or anything
"hey thanks for the ride"i said
"no problem,"she said and than we sat in silence until we arrived infront of my house.
"here you go dear"kaitlin's mom said
"thank you"i said quickly and walked towards the door and stepped inside when i was about to close the door i heard a faint whisper saying
"Protect the necklace,protect the ssssssssssssssecret"

The Secret of the Necklace
Okay here's my post!!! Everybodys posts were awsome!!!
"Okay Austin! I'll call you tonight, and we can get together this weekend to work on it!" I told him as we were walking out of science class. We were partners for the end of the year project.
"Sounds good! You have my number right?" He asked.
"Yea I do! Talk to you later!" I called over my shoulder. Sweeping my long, unruly, golden brown hair out of my bright blue eyes, I glanced at the sky with a worried expression. It looked like rain. And of course, Connor my older sister, would have to leave early today. Oh well. I better hurry home.
I had gotten half way to my house when it started to rain. I lowered my face, so I wouldn't get water in my eyes.
BAM! I hit an old lady, nearly knocking her over. Her hat went flying, and I chased after it. When I got it back, I apoligized.
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" Thats when I saw she was completely dry. "Wha?" I murmered.
"You must protect the necklace," She told me, her voice urgent.
"What in the world are you talk-,"I started to ask.
"Don't let it fall into the wrong hands!" She yelled at me, grabbing my jacket. I panicked, and pushed her off of me. She fell on the ground, but here is where it gets weird. When she hit the hard sidewalk, she disappeared into a mist.
"I'm going crazy!" I cried to myself, then took off running to my house.
Sorry if its short, but my day has been SO busy!!!

Hey it's my turn! Here I go.
Austins POV
I was walking home from school as normal while the sky was turning black. The wind began to pick up, blowing down on me. The street was deserted. Just me walking alone on a road completely empty.
I heard a loud clunk behind. I turned around to find my science book had fallen out of my bookbag. I bent over picked it and put it back. I turned to start walking again but something was wrong. The growling wind had stopped leaving an eerie silence on the street.
I felt my stomach clench up and I told myself I was just worrieing myself for no reason. I just needed to get home, I put my head down and began speed-walking home. All of a sudden I ran into something sending me flying backwards.
I wanted to scream but all I could get out with my fear was a small eek. Standing right in front of me was an old (and I mean OLD) women. She was short and reeked of death. I'm not sure how I know what death smells like but she smelled like it.
With a wobbly, squeaking voice she screeched "where is the necklace!? Where is it!? Give it to me!"
As I normally do, without thinking first I blurted out " look lady I don't have your stupid necklace."
She began telling at me again "I know you have! Give me it! Give it!"
By then I was totally freaked out. I got to my feet while she was still yeling at me and declared "look lady I have to go. I dont have your necklace. Goodbye and good ridence."
I took off running toward home at full speed. The wind started howling forcefully again and rain poured down angrily. I stoped and looked one more time at her. I saw her dissolve and blow away with the screaming "I will get it"!
I didn't stop running till I reached home. I got in and slammed the door behind me. That was the craziest thing I've ever seen I thought. I pondered what she meant by the necklace. I didn't have any necklaces.
Little did I know my life changed for ever that day when I met the old lady.

after getting home,i changed into some dry clothes and had lunch ,did my home work then i watched t.v. for a while and surfed the internet and finlally when my brother got home i scolded him like there was no tomorrow and after dinner i lay on my bed and put my earphones on listening to songs and eventually fell asleep
when i opened my eyes i saw only darkness,i couldnt move at all and soon started gettting scared then the darkness flashed into a beautiful scene it was a garden with a small fountain that had sparkling water bursting out of it.the flowers were dazzling with the morning dew on their tips and a young woman in a light yellow summer dress sat on a stone near by.she was holding something in her hand and silently crying.
then a dark shape loomed over her
"Fine i'll do it OK JUST leave me alone!!"she shouted
then ran to the fountain and dropped a small diamond no....a small necklace into the water as soon as it touched it ,the water turned dark black and the necklace shimmered to life and dissapeared.the lady looked behind her as the darkness took shape of and old lady
"oh no im not done with you just yet" the old woman said and pointed one sharp finger nail at her
then one person apperad at the young lady's side
he was a large man who wore dark sunglasses and could easly be imagined as a police man
he grabbed a small vase which had a cover on top and pointed it towards the girl she immediatly started to turn into dust and get pulled into the jar
"you may trap me but no one thing that i have enchanted the necklace it will not appear for another millenium ,not until the chossen ones will unite and accept their destiny!!!!!!!!!!"she screamed as she dissapeared within the vase
suddenly there was silence and then the old women screamed with fury
"THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE WITCH I WILL FIND THEM AND THEY WILL GIVE THE POWER TO ME!!"she bellowed as her hair lit afire and her eyes turned a deep black
the flowers moved by the wind as if mocking her words
then i woke with a start i was breathing heavily
i looked at the time it was just a minute or two before i was supposed to wake up for school anyway so i just started getting dressed,had breakfast and headed outside and waited for the bus outside then i noticed kaitlin walking towards the bus stop as well she looked terrified i was about to ask her when the bus came and i just left the question and went to school.

When I woke up the next morning, I could still hear that ladies voice in my head. Keep the necklace safe. Was the only thought running through my head, well that and, WHAT NECKLACE!?!?!?! I was so preoccupied that I skipped breakfast and just headed out the door.
I was shuffling along when Austin called to me, " Hey Rose! Wait for me!" I started to walk slower, and I heard his heavy breathing coming up behind me. "I had the wierdest thing happen to me yesterday! There was this old lady and-"
I spun around, "WHAT!? And old Lady talked to you on the way home too!?" I asked, completely shocked.
His eyes widened, "Oh wow, I'm not crazy!!!" Then thinking about it, "She said something about a necklace?"
"I know! 'Keep the Necklace safe!' is what she told me!" Then turning to him, "What did she tell you?"
"She demanded that I give her the necklace, I wonder, were they the same old ladies?" He asked me. "What did yours look like?"
"Well she reaked or like this old lady perfume, and looked like she would have been kind of a nice grandma. But she grabbed me and I pushed her off of me, and she fell on the sidewalk and like dissappeared into a misty looking stuff." As I said it, it sounded even crazier than I thought it was.
Austin shook his head, "Couldn't be farther from what mine was. She smelled like death, and I don't know how I know, but I just do. She was all rinkly and nasty looking, and looked like a million years old, and she had this creepy, squeaky voice!" He shuddered.
"Okay, so we had two completely different old ladies visit us, and ask about the same necklace? This is weird."
"Yea! Where the heck is this necklace?"
"I have no idea," I told him as we walked up to the school. "We can talk about it at lunch!"

So sorrrrrrrry guys. This is long over due.
Austins POV
At lunch we all met at our table. We were all there kaitlyn, Alice, Rosie, and me. It was creepy we all had odd experiences involving something about a necklace. None of knew what it meant but we were sure creeped. It was Friday and we all decided to meet in the park the next day at noon.
Again so sorry!!!!!!! That makes it kaitlyns turn. Soorrrrry
