(Cole & Jennifer are Natalie and Dan, Jack is Hamilton and Sinead, Dan Adelyn is Ian and Amy)
My name’s Dan but you can call me Danny.
It was uncle Dan who wanted me named after him.
Mom wanted some historian and dad wanted Diana or something.
I love traveling, but whenever I mention historical sights like Korea or Italy dad looks at mom and says sorry.
Uncle Dan just says one day.
Nellie and Sinead say well, ummm. . .
I stepped into the cellar.
Mom and dad would never let me in there.
The Kabra mansion is big enough for Jennifer and me to explore but I always loved the cellar.
The musty smell surrounded me as I saw a box that said clue hunt.
When I opened it there was a jade necklace, real nun chucks labeled Korea, a stone that said gauntlet, a pamphlet about a midsummer’s night dream, and other things labeled from around the world. The box fell sideways exposing a remote.
I clicked it and a secret stairway going underground opened up.
Stumbling, I ran downstairs.
Soon this stairway would be occupied.
I invited jack and Jennifer to come. We snuck into the stairway when we heard a noise.
I turned around and saw Cody with a backpack like ours.
“What are you doing Cody? Go back!”
Jennifer commanded.
“Let me come or I’ll tell mom.”
He answered.
Jennifer smiled.
Aunt Natalie was the nicest aunt ever. A door appeared, afterwards a door that said CAHILL COMMAND CENTER.
It had a big screen and buttons and a weapon rack.
Jennifer said.
“This is awesome”
It was. We heard a noise and we hid behind a weapon rack.
To our surprise it was our parents, Reagan, Madison, Ned, Ted, and Jonah. Jack put his finger to his lips. They started talking.
“Where is the vesper stronghold?”
Dan asked.
“Russia”
Sinead answered.
“We need someone young for the infiltration.”
Jonah stated.
“Who knows how to use a bomb?”
The starlings glared at Jonah.
I fingered the bomb in my palm.
Amy raised her hand.
“I know a little bit.” Natalie stepped up.
“I’ll do it”
then they talked about their adventures in the 39 clues.
I pieced it together and by the looks on the others faces, they did to. Jennifer suddenly coughed and Natalie spun around, holding a dart gun. Jennifer jumped up holding hers.
“Jennifer!” Natalie scolded.
“What are you doing here?”
Then she gaped at the identical dart gun.
Dan laughed.
“Mother like daughter!”
I came out holding the hand grenade.
Mom was holding one too.
Cole jumped up holding his ninja sword.
Now it was Dan’s turn to be surprised.
Cole yelled.
“Ninja awesomeness!”
Hamilton pulled his fist in the air along with jack. “Back to the point,”
Sinead stated. “We need someone to infiltrate the vesper stronghold.
I wish I could, but there’s an announcement I need to make.
I’m having a baby!”
Hamilton looked as surprised as me as did Jack.

Sorry it took so long!
You might have thought he would run to Sinead but he ran to me.
Tears leaked onto my shirt.
It was my cashmere.
I really didn’t care.
Then I did something I never in a million years would think I would do.
“I will infiltrate the stronghold and won’t take no for an answer.”
“But you need help, you can’t throw a weapon, can you?"
Mom asked.
“Try me.”
I replied.
Jen came out of nowhere with Cole and jack and said.
“I’ll come too.”
Then I pointed to a dummy and pulled out some poison darts.
It went right into the heart.
Dad smiled.
At the car rental place, jack got to choose the car.
He chose a Hummer but Jennifer argued with him until he agreed to a Toyota.
In the car I spotted a hidden door where the driver stopped.
He explained.
“It’s the Madrigal airport.”
The plane ride was tough.
Jack kept singing I’m Elmo and I know it.
He was horrible!
When we landed I was so happy I kissed the snow.
Wait!
Snow means…Russia.
Mom had never let me out of England or Massachusetts.
It felt so different!
Jenn held a thick furry coat in her hands and gave it to me.
We then ran to the corner of the building that looked like a shack then I remembered the way mom told me to go in.
Up, side, left, dart gun, bomb to right, and room 15.
I followed it while the others did their way in given by their parents.
The knob was easy to pick.
A boy my age (14) sat on a windowsill fingering a photo.
I then spotted the envelope I was supposed to get.
When I grabbed it he looked up and smiled.
“Hey, I’m Chris Tolliver. Are you the new Vesper agent?”
“Uh, yeah. What’s my mission?”
“To get the tomas serum.
Go to room 1e. that’s my dad, Evan Tolliver’s office.
And could I have your phone number?”
I have no intention of going out with him but I did.

Is anyone reading this?
Room 1e had two men in it and a familiar woman.
An familiar old looking man smiled and said.
“Nice isn’t it! She has the looks of a Vesper so she’s not an imposter. Hello, I’m Arthur Trent, this is Evan Tolliver, and the ever so lovely Isabel Kabra.” My eyes widened.
I knew why they were familiar.
Isabel was in a family picture taken when he was 15 dad gave to me and she was in the clue hunt.
Arthur was in mom’s family picture, taken when she was 4.
I decided to tell the truth.
“I’m Daniel Adelyn Kabra and I live in the USA. But I’m the 3rd youngest agent in a special organization. And Arthur Trent, are you related to Amy Cahill?”
He gave a stern look.
“My kids and Isabel’s and the rest of the cahills are dead because of Gideon Cahill's evil Gauntlet.
Isabel told me since I’ve never been out of a Vesper stronghold since the fire.”
I faced Isabel.
“Did you tell him abut Korea or the sharks? How you tried to throw his children into shark-infested waters and left them to die in Korea or even shot your own daughter and almost shot his kids? What about the gauntlet? Dad tells me all the attempts on the cahill's life, grandmother.”
She gasped and pulled out a dart gun.
I called Cody and he ran into the room and gave me the samuri sword then huddled in a dusty corner behind a trash can.
"Lillian!"
Cole murmured.
“A bit too uncle Dan, but good enough.”
I said as I swung it around.
Arthur then said. “Stop! Whose child are you?”
“Amy and Ian's, of course. And little Cody over there is Natalie and Dan’s kid.”
Arthur grabbed his chest and looked at Isabel.
“You tried to kill my children?”
“Oh, be quiet you old geezer! Ian’s not my son. I disowned him”
But Arthur wasn’t listening, he was squeezing me so tight I couldn’t breathe.
Neither could Cody.
“Jennifer!”
I yelled and she sped into the room.
Then I remembered Evan.
“You little cheater! You know what you get? THIS! Mom said DIE!”
And I kicked him square in the stomach.
Jack helped me put Isabel and Evan in a bag.
"Awesome grandpa!"
When we got to the cahill mansion, mom was so surprised to see grandpa she fainted.
Dad heard mom faint so he ran down.
So did Dan and Natalie.
Dan hugged Arthur.
Amy then woke up and hugged Arthur too.
I handed dad the envelope and showed him Evan and Isabel.
He just shot them with a dart gun.
We are a really crazy family.
