My fingers danced across the keys on the grand piano. I was practising for the performance, and I had quite a lot of mistakes. Which was horrid. I decided to practise until I could never get it wrong. I didn't care if I had to practise how many hundred times-- as long as I made no mistake at all.
As I practised the song, my mind wandered. It was boring having to play the same thing again and again and again for who knew how many times. I thought about the homework I had today: English vocab, Maths revision paper, Chinese comprehension, Science worksheet, oral presentation. Thankfully, I didn't have Social Studies to add on to the pile of homework I had. My thoughts moved on to my friends. My best friend Melly was coming over to watch me perform this song and give some criticism. I smiled at the thought of impressing her with my amazing skills.
I hit a wrong note. An ugly sound echoed across the house, marring the beauty of the piece. I groaned inwardly. Why couldn't I perfect the song? Always, it had been ruined by one stinking note that could be easily avoided. I continued on playing the piece. Finally, I reached the cadenza. I ended the piece with a grand finale. I could have ended my practise session, but I had to practise again to reach perfect. So I began again.
I wandered into dreamland, the only haven which I could escape from reality. I was imagining myself playing at a concert flawlessly. As the audience cheered, suddenly, everything started fading. I tried to focus my vision, but my body collapsed and everything went black.
Sorry but it's really short I know, will try to write longer next time. :)

My eyes opened and I blinked. It was probably because the world was dark my mind was blank, wait there was something! My name, my name was Elzia. That's all I can remember I told myself. Why? I asked myself. I don't know. Then I could suddenly see my surroundings, like someone had just flipped a light switch on grass, flowers, pale leafed trees. I was wearing a simple trousers and and buttoned shirt which I had worn while I was biking, which I do not recommend. Wait! What? Biking? Uh... What is biking? And why wouldn't I recommend wearing trousers?
Something soft was under my fingers which wasn't grass. I stared down and found a lovely silken skinned kitten under my finger I stroked it's fur somemore and placed it in my lap stroking it's fur, it was comforting. The kitten stared at me with amber eyes and then it cocked it's head to one side and whispered in a small voice: "You were brought here for a reason, find the others to seal you fate." I blinked astonished. I may not have had any memory, but I was pretty sure cats were not suppose to talk. A girl came up to me auburn hair and gray stone like eyes. "Are you alright?" she asked, something told me she did not see young girls in small meadows.
"I'm alright, thank you," I say standing up and dust off my trousers.
Sorry I gotta go!

No stranger would it be

Suddenly, I was in the forest. Wasn't I just in a pitch black area?
It was a beautiful day but I felt tired and hungry. So I walked around the forest searching for some fruits to eat.
Every time I heard something move I would turn around. For some reason, I felt like someone or something was following me.
I'm terrified of animals and when I saw a squirrel run by me I jumped. I seriously need to get out of here, I can't stand being alone in the forest.
After a couple of hours (I'm not sure because I don't have a watch), I finally found a mango tree. Unfortuantely, it was all the way at the top of the tree. So I had to climb up the tree.
I jumped up and managed to reach the first branch. From there I climbed up the tree. In less then a few minutes I made it to the top of the tree.
There was so much mangos to choose from. As soon as I was about to grab one an arrow came out of nowhere and shot the mango out of the tree. Okay, that's very unusual...
I decided to grab another mango and the exact same thing happened. I tried for the thrid time and it happened again. Okay, what is going on?
I looked down and saw a boy around my age with some bows and arrows. He was picking up the fallen mangos. I quickly grabbed two mangos before anything could happen to them and I quitely climbed down the tree.
I didn't want this boy to see me. Who knows who he is? He might be a stranger. It's better to keep a safe distance.
I ate my mangos and felt refreshed. Now all I need is a safe place to spend my time here in this forest. At a distance I saw the boy walking. He must come from a small village so I decided to follow him. Anywhere is safer than being in a forest.
I followed the boy and watched as he was hunting down some animals. He caught a deer and continued walking. After a while we made it to a village. Instead of going directly inside the village he stopped and place the deer on the ground. He turned around and I quickly hid behind a tree. I was too late, he already saw me.
"Come out little girl," he said. "I saw you along time ago."
I got out from my hiding spot and this was the first time I saw the boy.
All I can say was that he was good looking. He had jet black hair and sea-green eyes. He was muscular too.
Great, of all people I could find in the forest I found him.
"Uh, hi," I said.
"Hi, are you lost?" he said. I thought I saw him concerned. I probably imagined it.
"Yeah," I said.
"Come with me, will help you find were you're supposed to go."
I followed him and we walked into the village. I wondered what he meant. I felt like he knew where I was supposed to be.
The village was clean, I guess. The houses were sort of run down and there are the poor people on the streets but it doesn't look like the villages I think I saw before on television.
My memorey was completely gone but occasionaly I would remember bits and pieces. I know for sure that my age is fourteen.
"What's your name?" he asked me.
"Anna," I said. I tried to avoid looking at him but it was really hard. I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
"I'm Edward," he said.
Edward led me to his house and we went inside. There I was greeted by his mother.
Edward explained to her that I was lost and that she's the one we needed to help. I didn't get what he meant by the last part either, but I was too tired to ask.
His mother made dinner and I ate with them at the dinner table. It was just me, Edward, his mother, and his little sister Emma.
I learned that Edward's father and older brother are fighting in the US army.
The good news is I know where I am. I'm in Nevada in a small village not located in any maps.
"So Anna, where do you come from?" his mother asked me.
"I'm not sure," I said. "You see, I don't exactly remember anything. I just happened to be in the forest. I know, I know it doesn't sound believable but it's-"
"We believe you," his mother interrupted.
"You do?" I asked completely surprised.
"Yeah," said Edward. "Listen, this may sound strange but you are supposed to find other people."
"What do you mean other people?" I asked.
"I mean, people like you." he replied.
"What? I still don't get it." I said.
"It's hard to explain. I just know that your supposed to meet some people." he said.
I'll continue later.
~Anna :)

Faces. Faces. There were others. The thought was racing through my mind. Faces. They were kids, like me. A little older, a little younger. I had to find them. I stumbled to my feet, and stared in the direction of the faint light. Maybe I was in a cave? I took one step, then another.
"Okay, Diamond. This is it. You always wanted to do something with your life. Here's your chance. Don't be afraid. One step at a time. Keep moving forward. Courage, faith, hope, truth, mercy, love, freedom...those are worth fighting for." I don't know where the words came from, but they came, in a voice much more confident than my own. I opened my mouth again, and somehow, I knew it was me saying those words. Another part of me that was there, and rising to the surface.
"There's an entire world out there that needs you. You have been called to change the coming doom of nations. Believe in yourself, believe in the others. They need you. You need them.
This is life." I paused, considering what I had just said. Then a smile stole over my face; I felt really, really good. I gripped my knife and strode forward, into the light. I stepped out of the darkness into a beautiful world. It looked the way I always wished things did; perfect. Green grass, that was soft and springy like velvet. The sky was impossibly blue The trees swayed in the soft, cool wind. It smelled of flowers.
"What was I afraid of?" I laughed. Then someone stood in front of me. A girl, with raven hair, and pale skin. Snow White? Whoa. Where the heck did that come from?
"You arrived safely." She cocked her head. She was waaaaaaaaay taller than me. "So glad you did. We need you. Me and my cohorts called you to save our world. Your journey starts now." She disappeared, fading away.
"Wait!" I called, and ran forward. "Wait, don't go!"
"Hello?" A voice answered me. "IS someone there?" I saw a girl appear, and I knew she one of the people I was looking for.

"I am not wearing that." I said firmly as Jeremiah held up a dark emerald gown. It was too fancy for me. And besides, dresses aren't my thing.
"Come on." Jeremiah was grinning. "You'll look great in it!" Though he was teasing, his ears turned slightly red.
It's been three days since I woke up on the grass, without my memory, only my name. I had to go with Jeremiah to the castle because of some party. Everyone in the kingdom was invited. Though I had no memory of where I came from, I knew for certain that there were no "balls" or "kingdoms".
I sighed in defeated, snatching the gown from his hands.

Elinor, the house maid, helped me into my dress. Elinor was a woman in her forties, with strands of gray hair across the dark gold. She always wore a smile, no matter what. She made me feel right at home when I first arrived.
She tightened the strings of my corset.
I grit my teeth, ready to punch something. Are they serious? A corset?
She pulled the dress over my head, and closed the buttons on the back. The dress fell off my shoulders, and the sleeves came to my elbows. Golden swirls eleboratly designed the waistline. It was beautiful, but not my style.
Elinor beamed. "You look stunning! Now, on with your hair."

The girl giggled as she held out her hand. "I'm Elliandria, but you can call me Ellie," she said with a small curtsy.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Elzia," I say shaking her hand. "And why were you laughing?"
"It's just you're dressed like a boy! Why is that?" Ellie asked looking over me. I frowned at her.
"Something wrong with what I'm wearing?" I ask her looking down at myself. I found nothing wrong with what I'm wearing and I really didn't care if I was dressed like a boy.
"Well yes, girls are suppose to wear dresses, why would you be wearing trousers?" Ellie asked raising an eyebrow.
"Well sorry," I say almost sarcastically.
"Wait where are your parents? Why are you here?" Ellie asked.
"I- i don't know I just woke up here," I say trying to remember something. Ellie gives me a sympathetic look.
"Oh, well you can come home with me if you want," Ellie says eyes brightening. "My parents won't mind and I'll even get you a dress, well if you don't mind riding dresses, them might be big, but I'll sew them to fit you."
"Of course I don't mind! Thank you," I say beaming at her. She takes the kitten out of my arms.
"This is Muffin! This little rascle had been giving me trouble for months now, but he seems to like you," Ellie says smiling scratching Muffin behind the ear. I nod.
Ellie leads me down a small dirt path winding through the trees and we come into another meadow that's much brighter, wildflowers springs up beneath my feet, bushes with bunches of berries. A middle-aged man comes to meet her. "You've found another one in the meadow?" he asks puzzled.
"Wait you've found more people in the meadow?" I ask. Ellie shakes her head.
"My father always say that, it's only because once in a while we happen to get someone in the meadow," she whispers ushering me into the house.
"Why don't I go get you a dress?" she says. I nod.

Destiny's POV (Con.)
I looked at Elinor with weariness.
"My hair?"
She nodded, and started to brush through my dark bronze hair. I didn't feel comfortable at all. She pinned up my hair and left a couple of locks to the right side of my shoulder. She beamed, feeling proud.
I turned to face the mirror and my eyes widened. That was not me. The girl in the reflection had beautiful pale skin, and her golden green eyes matched her exquisite gown. Her bronze hair was elaboratly twisted to the side of her shoulder. But there was no mistakening her surprised expression. It was me.
"Oh!" Elinor reached forward to open a drawer. "I almost forgot!" She took out a small tiara encrusted with real emeralds. She placed it on my head.
"That tiara was mine when I was your age. I wore with that gown once, twenty years ago. When I first met my husband." She smiled.
"What happened to him?" I asked, but the immediatly bit my lip. I shouldn't have asked. I knew what she was going to say.
"He died in a war, protecting the king." She said sadly. But she regained her smile. "No time for depressing stories, it's time to check on Jeremiah and his father!"
As if on cue, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Elinor called out. Jeremiah's father stepped in, wearing a fine grey suit. His shoulder length hair was pulled into a ponytail. When he saw me, he smiled widely.
"Gorgeous." He complemented. I smiled, emberassed.
"Jeremiah! Come here, son." He called out. Shoot, I thought. Hide me.
Jeremiah walked into the room, looking pleased with himself. He obviously dressed himself, he got rid of his old brown trousers and beige shirt. He wore a black suit, with his gray, shined shoes. His dark blue eyes were bright, and his dark blonde hair was combed back. Only then did he notice me. His smile turned from pleasure to awe.
"Destiny." He greeted me. I smiled. "You look lovely."
I suddenly felt self-conscious. Luckily, Elinor quickly said;
"Well, it's not polite to be late! Off you go!"
I grinned at her. Jeremiah offered his arm, and I shyly took it.

I was starving. Literally, starving. I hugged my stomach, it has been 3 hours since I arrived in the roof for no reason. I kept on trying to learn what I can, but it was no use. Now this is when I saw a woman staring and pointing at me.
"Girl! You're supposed to be wearing a dress, and why are you there up the roof! Come down from there!" She yelled at me with some british accent, I nodded, staring down, it was probably a 40 foot fall, but no worries, at least it isn't more than 100 ft fall. I looked around for something to help me go down.
"Hey, Lady! Could you please get a pole or a bamboo stick of some kind?" I asked her. She nodded. I waited, and she had 2 bamboo sticks with her, she placed it there near the place where I am. A 40 ft. tall bamboo stick. Is there any kind of bamboo stick that kind? I don't think so.I grabbed the bamboo stick, and slided down. "Why were you on top of my house, for goodness sake!" The woman scolded me. Now, that was almost crossing the line, I can be grumpy and I can be hot headed.
"How the heck will I know why I was up on your roof when I lost my memory, for crying out loud!" I asked her furiously. She crossed her arms
"Well, let's see. Come in and I'm going to put you in a dress, girl." The woman said
"And my name is Victoria." She added
"Are there anybody else in the house?" I asked her
"Well, there is my son, Andrew and my sister, Naya." The woman answered. I nodded slowly.
When we walked in, it was the normal house you know. But a little old school. She brought me into a small room and gave me a long, red gown with diamonds on the sleeve, it looked a little old. She started doing my hair, she placed in a strange fashion, seriously strange. It consisted of pins and bringing my hair to curls. Victoria made me look through a small, almost shattered mirror. I looked really looked.... strange. She placed an old tiara with small diamonds. I started placing things together. The british accent. the "You are supposed to be wearing a dress". The old names. Me using jeans not dresses. I've probably went to the past
And now, that was my medium POV.

A hand was shot towards me as I lay in thought. I gradually took it.
"What are you doing on the ground....and why are you dressed as a male?" said this really (Miks, don't think about it..) cute boy.
A girl next to him giggled, her face as red as a ladybug. I tried sizing them up.
Hm. The guy? Brown hair, a warm smile, greenish-bluish eyes. Hm. Ok. Next the girl. She was blonde, had the same eyes and dimples, but I could tell I wouldn't like her much. She was one of those popular clique girls. I could tell. I don't know how I knew that. Ha, I barely knew my own HISTORY. What would I know about my intellect?
"Hello," there was snapping in my face," I asked you a question!" The girl gagged."OHMIGAWD, I could tell she was, so totally, like gonna drewl. Ugh her fashion sense is..." she drifted off as I gave her my glare. Next time her pretty little face was gonna have a few scars.....
"I was....playing basketball. And, why can't I dress like a male?" I said with definite sarcasm...I always was the defiant one.
"Uh huh. Yeah, sure. And you can't dress like a male because....it's against the code." he said with a proud look in his eye. Hm. The guy likes to debate? Wait till I end it.
"Code schmode. Who made it anyways?" I asked, 'cause nobody's pushing this gal around.
The siblings looked at each other. They started whispering like I wasn't there.
"Hello! Thing One and Useless 2!!!" I screamed...
To be continued....

We walked through the forest, looking for some sort of civilization. There was definitely more kids there. I still didn't know what this was about, but I was getting a pretty good idea. It was like Narnia; the kids are called when Narnia needs help. I guessed this place needed help, though I saw nothing wrong with it.
Wait. What was Narnia? I must have thought of it instinctively. I glanced at Katherine. She looked a little bit like a popular girl, like at my school. Pretty, tall, and a general sense of presence.
Wait. What was school?
For the next few days, maybe years, that would most likely be my most said words. Brilliant.
My mind was in turmoil. I felt so strange; really, really powerful, and yet somehow incredibly weak and stupid. The latter was a familiar feeling, but the sense of confidence was very new. And having both at the same time wasn't helping.
"Hey!" Katherina exclaimed. "Is that a house or something?" I looked, and sure enough, there was a hut, with a little bit of smoke trailing out of a tiny chimney.
"Wait. You should know...before we met, when you heard me calling for someone, there was a girl." The words tumbled out of my mouth like water over a waterfall.
"A girl? Like another kid?" Katherine's eyes brightened.
"Yes. No. She looked different." I described her to Katherine, who nodded.
"I thought I should tell you, in case she's in there. Or someone like her." I had put my knife away, but I felt like holding onto it now.
"She sounds like a poweful...being. Like royalty or something. I don't think a girl like her would be in a hut like that." Katherine shrugged. "But yeah, we should be on the lookout."
We walked to the hut and looked inside.

Destiny's POV
As soon as the castle gates opened, all eyes fell on me and Jeremiah. I smiled, feeling embarresed. I heard someone laugh. It was the king. He came down his throne, his blue robes swishing behind him. Every person he passed bowed their head. I almost snickered. It looked like it came out of a medieval movie.
I caught myself. What's a movie?
The king finally noticed me, and looked confused. He turned to look at me, then to Jeremiah, then back at me. His dark eyes seemed to go right through me.
"Who's this, Silas?" He asked Jeremiah's father. "Is your son betrothed?"
Jeremiah's eyes widened. "No!" He cleared his throat. "No, your majesty."
Jeremiah's father continued. "Jeremiah found her unconscious. She is without a memory, and we are shelterinf her."
The King smiled. "How kind of you, Silas. But I think it would be better for this young lady to stay at the castle. I will have maids to look after her."
"It is her choice." Jeremiah's father looked at me. I nodded and smiled. Jeremiah looked disappointed.

I got up, and started to walk, down this weird looking street.... I hear somenoe calling me.
"Girl! Hey you!" They screamed. I turned around, and saw a nice looking boy, that I could stare at for a while... I mean... AH. nEVER MIND.
"Are you okay?" he asked me, as he caught up to me.
"Ye- Well I dont really know..." I said, looking at the ground.
"Are you alright?" he asks again.
"No.... The awnser is no. I think I lost my memorie." I say shrugging. He smiled a goffy smile.
"Well come on then. Do you know your name?" He asks, as he motions for me to walk with him.
"I think its Adrienne." I say, still very confused, "Where are we going?" I ask.
"Well, I live just up the street here. So I was bringing you to my Mom." He said, kinda blushing. I nod.
We get to his house, and see like 5 cars parked in the driveway.
"Oh I guess Hunter must of gotten here." He kinda muttered smiling at me. We walk into his house, and he calls for his Mom.
"MOM! Come here!" I laugh. A pretty woman comes down the stairs, she has long black hair, pulled into a poney tail. And big deep chocolate brown eyes.
"Hi Honey- Whose your friend?" she asks.
"I found on the street. She said she lost her Memorie." he says walking into the kitchen and shrugging.
"Oh you poor dear!" She said, putting a hand around my shoulder. I kinda flinched. I guess I dont like being touched....
"Oh sorrry. Here come into the kitchen." She said, motioning me in. We walk in, and a see other boy, he has dark brown hair, piled in a mess on his head, and deep green eyes. He was also pretty tall. I felt my heart stop. She motion for me to take a seat next to the boy with the dark brown hair, at the table. I did.
"Are you hungry?" She asked me. I noded. She made me a sandwitched.
"Thank you." I say quitely.
"Your welcome." She said, "Now can you remember anything?"
"I know my names Adrienne. And that I'm 15." I sya. I could feel the boy with the dark brown stare at me, with intense eyes. He ahd since I walked in the room. She noded.
"You wills stay with us, as long as you want dear." she siad smiling.
"No. Really-" I started to say.
"Nope. It is not an opption! You will stay here intill you remember something." She said smiling sweetly, "Now I should introduce you. The boy who found is my son, Maxly." She said gesturing to him, he ahd black hair like his mom, and blue eyes. He waved and said, "Yo!" I kinda laughed.
"And the boy sitting next to you, is Maxly's cousin. Hunter." She said. He smiled at me. But I could see a pain in his eyes, "And My names Mally." she said smiling that mothers smile. I smiled back.

I woke up on a soft bed. I looked around and saw that I was in some kind of medieval themed room with all of the furnishings from that time. The bed had dark blue silken sheets and was covered with an overhanging dark blue curtain. What the heck? Wait a minute. What's my name? Where am I from? How did I know this looked medieval? I was so confused. Then I suddenly thought of it. My name was Janet.
The door suddenly opened and a maid came in. She screamed when she saw me and ran down the hall. I quickly got up and walked over to the door. There was a long hall with different doors all along it. I ran down the hall and found another door at the end of it. It was a deep blue and I opened it quickly. Sun shone in and I realized that I was on a terrace. What was going on?

Katie's pov
She lived in a small cottage, with two floors and a thatched roof. When we arrived, we were greeted by two men, one about my age, with curly black hair, a mix of icy blue and stormy gray eyes and a cheerful face. The other was around the same age as Alexandra, so I assumed he was her husband and the boy was their son. When they saw me, the boy did a double take, no doubt wondering about my clothing. The old man was much discreet, and only mumbled "well, let's get you some different clothes". Alexandra led me upstairs to her bedroom. It was simple, with a big bed, a rickety table, a wash basin, and a wardrobe. She strode purposefully towards the wardrobe. The tittle of a book flashed through my mind, some thing about lions and witches, and then it was gone. I searched through my frustratingly empty mind for the words, but they were gone. I sighed and looked at the wardrobe. Alexandra opened it, and inside there were a mix of strange clothes for both men and women. I assumed the boys clothes were those of her husband. She searched through the dresses, but apparently didn't find what she was looking for. She walked out of the bedroom and across the hall to a small storage room. Inside there was, amid the other odds and ends, another, much smaller wardrobe. Inside there was a multitude of dresses. She rummaged through them, muttering to herself. After a few minutes of "not that one", "no", "I didn't even know I still had this!", and "when did I get that!?", she finally pulled out a dress. I gasped. It was gorgeous in a old-timey kinda way. It was a pale green, with a forest green sash, short, loose lace ribbons that searved as very decorative but useless sleeves, and a skirt that reached the floor, and layer down past it. It even had matching pale green slippers. It looked loose and comfortable untill i saw the corset. That was definately not going to make this very pleasant. A few minutes later, I had the dress on. Then she did my hair. When I looked in the mirror, I gasped. The girl in the mirror was me but it.... wasn't. I was pretty sure I wasn't that pretty. No, pretty wasn't the word. I looked stunning. My dress brought out my hair and eyes. The top layer of my hair was in a small bun that reminded me of a rose. The rest of it cascaded down my back in natural waves that I didn't remember having. Then again, I didn't remember much of any thing. "now," said Alexandra. "your presentable enough to visit the palace". "What?!?!?!" I gasped. "I'm going to the palace?! Why?". "to get a job, of course". As soon as she mentioned the word "job", a list of names flashed through my mind. And then it was gone. I was able to catch one of them though. "Destiny", I whispered. " what, dear?" asked Alexandra. "nothing", I said quickly. I had to find Destiny.
