Hi, so, this is a thread about Janus, paintings, South Korea, and the ER. Enjoy!
Hi,so, I noticed something. All of the Janus are completely obsessed with music, which I shamefully lack talent in. Also, everybody is writing stories, which I love to do, but don't have time to post(you saw the thing about the sisters, right? Now imagine they are 7,2, and two months old.you get the idea)but one thing I absolutely love to do is paint. Sadly, I am out of white paint! And Walmart is too! So, until I go to Michaels, or hobby lobby, I CAN'T PAINT! Plus, I have to get the money to buy paint, which I don't have cause me and my bro are donating to send a kid in Africa food, clothes, and school for a year. So I can't finish my painting of white tulips. Crap. The italics wont turn off:( please bear with, just for this post. Anyway, I thought I could at least talk about paintings:) please tell me your favorite famous painting, so I can look it up on google images. I don't look paintings up without the title, because then I wind up scarred for life from some twelf century dude's idea of "art' also, feel free to describe any paintings you are working on. I would love to hear about them, since I don't think we can post pics on this site. After its finished I'll tell you all about it. I did this one painting of a korean girl dancing with, like, this stick thingy, and she was wearing this dark red dress(like dried blood. Sorry for being so graphic. I can't remember what it's officially called:) with a brighter red colored ribbon around her waste and a cream colored top and then her face(which I would say I did pretty darn good on since my sister temporarily lost my fine tip brush and I had to use a freaking WATER COLOR BRUSH. You know, the kind that comes with the cheep water colors you buy at Walmart. This was on acrylic paper. Then I did a canvas painting. It shows the tips of several branches with purple blossoms against a sky blue backdrop. I used several slightly different shades of blue to give it depth. I did another on acrylic paper of a blown up version of a single lilly of the nile(these are really small purple flowers that grow in huge bunches) next to a blue butterfly. Yes, it was completely unproportional cause the flower was as big as the butterfly. Thats just how i wanted it. These were against a black backdrop with dark grey brushed lightly over to add character and depth. I also did another flower of my own inventive imagination. It was dark purple with cobalt blue and permanent light green and pale violet streaks in it. I had it against a black backdrop with grey brush over and the moon in the top left corner with light grey moonbeams hitting my special flower and small grey stars in the background. Anyhow, I have to go to bed cause I have school tomorrow and I have to get up at, like, the crack of seven a.m. So, I'm home schooled and we don't start till nineish. It really doesn't matter, cause I'm done by, like, eleven. I know it's kinda stupid to go to bed this early but my ill sisters all have to go to bed so me and my bro just go with it(he's11) plus I had an exhausting day. My bro cut his hand with his pocket knife this morning on accident, so instead of going to church, he had to go to the er. Had to have three stitches. They ave to stay in for a week. And the toddler is always tiring. So, g'night everybody! XD

Ok, since nobody is replying, maybe we should focus more on famous paintings. I like van gough and Vermeer. There is this really cool book called chasing Vermeer, where his most famous painting is stolen, and these two kids find it. There are clues in the illustrations all throughout the book. I was going through my dads old books from when he was a kid, and this was in it. I read it, and absolutely loved it! It's about his painting called the geographer. Vermeer is interesting because he often didn't sign his work, and it took this big huge mystery over every painting to figure out who painted it. Also, we know very little about his early life. To this day, there are paintings believed to be his, with no actual proof. All his background is so vague, he would be a great candidate for the 39 clues plot. I also love van gough's "a starry night" it's just so beautiful, and complex, and detailed. And I like his sunflower painting. So what all do you like. I also like this painting called, the almond blossoms, but I don't remember who painted it. Anyhow, g2g

I painted a a really awesome pegasus rearing up and flaping her wings. Lightning is striking the ground next to her and it started a fire in the grass. IT'S SO EPIC!!! And I also painted this really awesome tiger sitting in the rainforest. And my favorite so far (Not done with it) I did using oil patels, it's two deer, grasing in a forest, and light is streaming through the trees and a hind (Female deer) is drinking from a stream in the distance! SO EPIC!

Those paintings sound completely awesome! Lucky, you can paint animals:) mine always look disfigured. What would you say to a feature on this site where you can post pictures of art and videos of performances? I am getting ready to type out this whole rant about it and start a petition. I want A 1000 LIKES! Also, I will have everybody sign their name and list one reason they would enjoy it. The reason doesn't have to make sense, or even be original. In fact, if the same thing were posted by more than one kid, it would make my argument stronger. So please, once it's up, participate. Also, you could maybe post telling people about it? Thank. Btw, what's ur name?

YES, I HAVE WHITE PAINT!!!!! My mom went to hobby lobby last night while I babysat, and she brought me back a whole bottle of white paint and a new set of brushes!!XD
