Maddy's dark braids bounced on her shoulders as she nocked the arrow. She aimed and fired again and again until...
"Maddy, you did it. You earned the gold archery patch for seven bulls-eyes while on horseback". Joanna's voice rang out clear in the meadow. Maddy was there with Leo, Sam, Mark, Alexa, Annie, and Laurie, along with the counselor, Joanna. They were doing equestrian events today: silver, gold, and diamond archery, all levels rodeo, silver and gold racing. All the kids there had on denim shorts and white T-shirts with two Cs on them. Two Cs for Camp Colony, or rather, Camp Cahill. Though an observer was more likely to notice the war paint on every person's face and every girls' part line: equestrian day was also Indian day, so there were many bizarre things to observe. They had just finished the equestrian events, so it was back to the mansion for crafts: tepees, canoes, cradleboards, quivers, bows and arrows.
While the Cahills laughed and played in light, the Vesper headquarters was shrouded in darkness. It was still night in Moscow, but one little girl couldn't sleep. She just sat on the window ledge, her mocha eyes staring blankly at the stars, dreaming of what once was and shoud always have been. What should always have been...

The Last Stand: a Story
It was a perfect sunset: the puffy clouds turning the beautiful pink, orange, red, and violet of the sky lighter. Only one thing was missing. One for three different people: Maddy her boyfriend, Leo his half-sister, Abby her little sibling Hayden.
And in Moscow, watching the perfect sunrise, a little girl was longing to live life as a person instead of a pawn. To have a shoulder to cry on. A hand reached out for her. A home. A family. But she couldn't have it. She could only have enimies, live in this tenment tomb, be a pawn in the game, never really see the light, and be forgotten forever. She had had a family once, a long time ago. A long, long time ago, in another life... She walked to class, silent as a shadow. Then came the mission: go to America. Camp Colony in Attlebro. Honeypot operation. And she took off, naive of the secrets about to surface.

AI1, I have a question for you. Actually, more than one. First, you post on here that your name is Olive, but in a different form you posted that your name was Maddy or something like that, what you posted on this story. Maddy is the main character, and Olive is the spark that starts the fire. Olive is Leo's little sister. She was raised by Vespers after her mother died. You need to pay attention more.
