I keep on hearing Amian everywhere and not enough evamies. Is it just me, or is Ian a jerk. If you are reading this and you are a Amian, I will try and persuade you to switch sides.

I agree with you Evamies on that. The "kiss" in Korea was incredibly immature, and yes, Amy was rattled, but Ian was just being a jerk. But guys, one thing you are not getting, IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE THE CLUE HUNT!!! Speaking logically, you all have forgiven, Sinead, who was really mean in the beginning and has now become a really good friend of Amy's, (like sisters) and the Holts, who DID try to kill them. What I'm saying, is that you can't pick who and who not to forgive. In fact, Ian was influenced by his mum, and though I'm NOT saying he wasn't a real JERK in the clue hunt, he also searched for the truth about his parents. If he hadn't, Natalie wouldn't have either. He and Nat turned AGAINST their mother, and TRY to find the truth! Sure, everyone slips back and times, but even Dan is facing side effects from the clue hunt, imagine a LIFETIME of that? Sure, he was a jerk in Korea, but is a couple actions gonna cancel his pursuit for the truth? And his effort to get better?

Deviousaqua9 I read you're story and it was pretty good. If I was an Amian I would have loved it!!!!! I just think that Evan would have definitely visited Amy more often and wouldn't be soooooo focused on a machine. I mean, in the medusa plot, Evan was pretty much like a stalker, like he wanted to know how his girlfriend was. Evan would be by her side until she got better. But don't get me wrong, I loved it!!!!!!!! You are a talented writer and I loved you adding god into it! And did you say Amy was on drugs, or was she kidding?????

@Devious Aqua 9: What I mean is she LET Ian kiss her and then went along with his whole "You and me are together and we're in lovey-dovey land!" Which was very immature at fourteen years old.
And then when she kissed Jake behind Evan's back wasn't as bad, but she should be old enough to know that you don't do that to your boyfriend, no matter how excited you get.
The reason why we think Evan is the guy for Amy----
- is because he actually cares for her and doesn't treat her badly, like Ian sometimes does, like he did in TDON when Atticus was kidnapped.
- he cares for Amy's beloved pet, Saladin, but Ian treats the cat like it is a thermonuclear weapon.
- Evan apparently misses Amy, but Ian apparently doesn't, because there is no reference in ANY of the Cahills vs. Vespers that Ian is sorry she's gone.
- There is no Sinead/Evan club. Who said there was? Actually, I bet Evan is pretty ticked off at Sinead right now because she was going to make him wear that tracker ankle bracelet in TDON. He probably felt terrible that they were suspicious of him after posting that lizard on the Message Board. HELLO, PEOPLE! (IAN/SINEAD!) EVAN WAS TRYING TO HAVE PEOPLE VERIFY IT!!!! TO SEE IF THEY KNEW WHAT KIND IT WAS TO HELP THE HOSTAGES GET AWAY FROM WHEREVER THEY MAY HAVE BEEN HELD!!!! NOW IF HE WAS REALLY A VESPER, WOULD HE WANT TO FREE THE HOSTAGES????? V-1 WOULD BE PRETTY TICKED AT HIM!!!! DUH, SINEAD/IAN!
-Evan is normal and not refined like Ian. Ian is too refined, actually. He thinks that four million dollars is "chicken feed." He needs to GROW UP and LEARN TO APPRECIATE WHAT HE REALLY HAS! ESPECIALLY MONEY! Do you know how many children and adults are malnourished across the world? Does he even care about them? If he did, he'd donate money to THEM for actual food and clothes and not spend it all on HIS designer undies and refined chocolates from Switzerland.

True, that was pretty immature on her part, but at the time, she had a SUPER low self-esteem. This is just me airing my opinions, but I think that dating before an age that you could realistically get married is pretty lame, and immature. And yes, she shouldn't have kissed Jake, but I was just saying that she wasn't thinking, "Jake is so hot, I want to kiss him." Also, it WASN'T behind Evan's back, he was RIGHT there on her computer watching it all. Now, to tackle all your reasons..THIS IS FUN!!!

Just because Evan and Saladin get along does NOT mean anything. I have a phobia of cats, like seriously, their claws, eyes and very being! If you were attacked by a cat every time you saw him, well, I don't think you would get along very well either!
- And Sinead as she said NEVER TRUSTED Ian, but she trusted Evan? What was up with that? So for that matter, Isabel was right, Attleboro will never accept Ian. They don't trust him, and when someone doesn't trust you, you don't feel inclined to build a huge relationship with them.
- And Ian IS learning the price of money, he has less than four million dollars now! And just because Evan is "normal" does not make him right for Amy. In fact, Evan is too normal. We need someon who can bring out the eccentric in Amy Cahill, one who won't drag her down. But Evan is so emotionally taxing by being so incredibly DEPENDENT!!! Get a life dude! Now, I'm not saying Ian is perfect, but that's why we want him. He and Amy can build up each other. Also, Evan...is too...flat.

FriendlyGenius3 WHAT PART?!?!?!?!?!?! I have never heard one part in the WHOLE series where Evan was being sneaky!!!!!!!!!! Everything that he does is out of love and passion for Amy!!!!!! Ever free time he has he is either in the command center or doing some research to help the cahills. And, also, when it's Evans point of view in the book, wouldn't he be thinking stuff like, it won't hurt at all once I double cross them, if he was a vesper?!?!?! But all Evan thinks is how great her voice sounds, and how he is jealous of jake!!!!!! Please tell me the page number where you found that and if I even think Evan was doing something sneaky, then I will give you a point. But, for now, the only thing that gives even the slightest hint of him being a vesper is him detecting the phone. And for anyone who says Evan storming out when sinead tried to give him the tracking device is something a vesper would do let me just say I think he had a pretty good reason!!!!! If you were spending every hour you had devoted to someone, and you were helping her AND her family, you were lying just to help lives, and you made ONE mistake and then BOOM!!!!!!!! They use your own device against you, and they don't trust you and consider you an enemy. I would be pretty mad if I were Evan!!!!!!

I agree with you Melissa, Evan isn't a Vesper, and he isn't sneaky. He is honestly in love with Amy, but I'm still an Amian. Evan is too dull. And Ian...well he's trying to change, he's on a secret mission, he, OK, he's NOT perfect, but I think that's actually good. Who would want a PERFECT boyfriend? And Sierra, I like Peeta, and I think Gale is selfish.

Amian's kind of funny. Have you seen the stories people make? They make Evan sound mean, and that he doesn't care about anyone. And they make Ian so nice, and like he would do anything for Amy.

I for one cannot be bothered with Amy's love life. The one thing that really annoys me is Amians calling Evan a Vesper and in turn Vesper 3, just because they want Amy to be with Ian - get a grip, people! Don't you remember that Evan cannot be V3 as there have been no major changes to the Council for a long time - and nobody under 10 is allowed. I cannot see anyone who is 11-13 being a VC Member...
