I keep on hearing Amian everywhere and not enough evamies. Is it just me, or is Ian a jerk. If you are reading this and you are a Amian, I will try and persuade you to switch sides.

Deviousaqua9, I think the reason Amy likes Evan is because he is normal and dull. Amy doesn't like exciting. She prefers dull and boring. She already has a lot of excitement in her life she doesn't need any more. And Amy doesn't care about him being cute, I think she cares about personality.
Oh, and for all the people who keep using the whole " that was during the clue hunt, it was the past" well, does that mean we can forgive Isabel?!?!?!?! All she did that was bad was during the clue hunt. I know Ian was changing, but it's just a thought. Also, Ian had almost murdered Amy and Dan lots of times. In th catacombs he could of shot them and he wouldn't have cared one bit, like how Isabel killed their parents.

What I'm trying to say is that Amy needs someone who brings out different things in her. Amy is a leader now and Evan just drags her down with his dependency on her. Also, we're dragging Dan into it because Ian is off on a secret mission that we don't know much about,but we DO know it's not for the Vespers, and Dan is on a worse mission to assemble the serum! But everyone still likes Dan! And if we're going back into the other series, we need to leap from book three to the last book! Ian changed so much,he was a different person. He helped to save the world, he disowned Isabel. The rest of the books show his path to the good side. And then Evan and Sinead are alienating him because...? Sinead doesn't trust him, and Evan doesn't like him because?.... BECAUSE HE'S SO GOOD LOOKING AND HE DOESN'T TRUST AMY TO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM!!! He doesn't think she's a leader when she really is!

Trust me, DeviousAqua9, that when the last three book's secrets are revealed, Evan will not be a Vesper. I can bet on that. Personally, I think Amy is being the untrustworthy one, not calling Evan, not telling him where they are, and flirting with that arrogant Jake guy. Yuck. Evan truly likes her and cares for her.
Now, I personally do NOT like Ian. He is rude, and stuck-up, and not to mention a complete complainer. He always thinks he's right. And even though the Clue Hunt was past, and Amy should forgive him for all the times he backstabbed her, that still doesn't make him perfect for Amy. How'd you like to marry a guy who had almost left you dead over several times? You'd hate it. But there is one thing. Ian is good for one thing. Sneaking off and brambling with his mother. Actually trying to find Vesper secrets. But so is everyone else. Evan, Sinead, Amy, Dan, Hamilton, and Jonah are all working their heads off too. And Ian doesn't even seem to give a care.
Evan. He's the guy for Amy. Not Jake or Ian. Evan. And Amians or Jakemys, please make your own threads. Don't go nuts or try to tell us that Ian or Jake or anybody else is the one or Amy. Don't bring Dan in. Or anybody else for that matter. It's our opinion. Don't try to change it. Because we've made up our minds. It's Evan.

Wait, I NEVER SAID I THOUGHT EVAN IS A VESPER!!! I definitely DO NOT think Evan is a Vesper. There is nothing pointing to it, so there is o reason not to. And I also think that Amy is not intentionally flirting with Jake, she tries not to. And yes I truly think Evan cares about Amy, but he is WAY too dependent on her. Like he questions their relationship just because she doesn't SAY that she needs him. That is just weird. Also, give me an instance where Ian isn't trying to help? Devious Aqua 9, I'm sorry that I misjudged that you thought Evan was a Vesper. What I'm trying to say is that Ian could be less of a stuck-up twit. He does work to help bring the hostages home, but does he really need to complain and hurt people in the process, like he did Amy in TDON? No. I can understand why Sinead and Evan avoid him and dislike him. He just complains. And complains. And complains. Seriously, how'd you like to work with a loud mouthed-complainer all the time? Ian could at least tell Sinead where he's going if he wants to help. And I can understand why Evan dislikes Ian.

I'm sorry catchingaqua430, but I don't agree at all! I don't see why everyone thinks he's a vesper???? Where's any evidence. Also, in TDON in Evans ppoint of view he doesn't think " I'm gonna double cross my girlfriend heehehehehe" no he Is all like " I need you Amy, I love you, how are you doing" he isn't acting he actually cares for her and is completely concerned for her. And yes the other people who are putting themselves in danger have hostages or have been raised with the cahills and it is their duty, Evan had like two days, the others had years to train. And Amy doesn't want to like jake, she just does. Well, he's lieing to help people he didn't know for his girlfriend.

@Aqua Dragon501, THAT WAS TWO FREAKIN YEARS AGO!!! I'm sure all of us were pretty obnoxious two years ago, more than we are now!!! And in the books AMY has forgiven him, so shouldn't you? Evan is being snobby because he's all like, " Ian is so scared of Saladin, Saladin doesn't like him, he likes me, aren't I the PERFECT boyfriend?" And poor Ian brought Evan into this!!! GIVE HIM SOME CREDIT!!! He was already stunned because Amy had a boyfriend, and he didn't even have a girlfriend since Amy, and HE STILL BROUGHT HIM IN!!! And no, Sinead and Evan were kinda laughing at Ian the whole time. And how do we know Ian is on a Kabra/Lucian mission? He was telling the guys, "Isabel LIES" And Ian tries not to think about Amy, because he knows that she's already Evans! And that is so honorable!. And he's so lonely and he's curious to find everything about his mum!

That's OK, most people do. And old habits die hard? I have a feeling he was trying to mask his feelings for Amy when he did that, plus that was his old home turf, that's gotta make you hurt! And sure, he may complain, but how much really? I think ur over exaggerating it. And also, he doesn't want to move in on Evan! And again, when he left Amy for dead, THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO!!! MOVE ON!!! And although he DISLIKES Evan, he doesn't HATE him because he brought him to the CCC! If he hated him, then he wouldn't have done that! Listen, I don't think Evan is perfect. But, I don't get how he is being snobby!!!! I don't see him being snobby at all!!!! Like he is being sincere and nice to Ian. If anything he should be jealous of Ian. Ian tried to make a move on Amy and then tried to kill her only two years ago. Ian is more good looking then him, which gives Evan a reason to be jealous. And if Ian was really trying to block out Amy, then wouldn't he have to think about Amy, then block her out!!!!! He just forgot about her, left his sister, sinead, Ian, and AMY for who knows what. And I wouldn't want to be around Ian at all. Also, when did this whole sinead/ evan club start. This started AFTER Ian left, not before. And, yes I know marriage is a long way away, but could you really fall in love with someone if you knew that you could have been dead and it was all their fault. Or, would you rather go out with the guy you've been crushing on for a year now. And is also giving up EVERYTHING for you!!!!!! Like he is giving up trust and freedom to be with Amy. Ian isn't giving up anything. he is rich and snobby. And yes I know he was raised that way, but here re Hesse rich students at my school, and they are the least bit snobby at all. BTW: Amy and Ian's kiss in The Sword Thief didn't mean anything, guys, other than that they are NASTY, in my opinion. Really. Two kids KISS at fourteen years old!!?? They are way too young to be kissing, or even thinking of "boyfriend-girlfriend" stuff. Amy was immature for letting Ian kiss her, and Ian was just so coniving and sickeningly evil for kissing her and then trying to kill her. They are both immature and un-perfect for each other.
Evamy, on the other hand, is sweet because they are older, more mature, and actually serious and not petty. Amian is so petty, as Ian might say. LOL :-)
