Okay, I've decided to make a new story, similar to my first. (What One Sees- if you haven't read it, go to the link on my signature. You don't have to, because they are different concepts and plots, but same genre, and quite popular) It's about a girl who wakes up on a beach with no memory of her life (or anything, for that matter). All she knows is that she has visions. She doesn't quite know what they mean, but they seem to be coming true. Here is the first chapter:
What Happens When Chapter 1- Realization
"Miss? What happened? Are you okay? Miss? Can you hear me? Are you okay?" I open my eyes and see a tall, tan, muscular man standing over me. I feel something cold and refreshing spashing against my back and neck. I look down and I'm lying on soft sand. The man staring at me is wearing a white sleeveless top with a red cross and the work "LIFEGUARD" on it. He's a lifeguard, I think. Well, not really think, because my mind is idle. It's sort of like reading invisible ink, but before making the words visible to the naked eye. "Are you okay?" the lifeguard says to me again. I try to say "Yes," but I choke on something, probably water, so instead I nod. "Are you sure?" he asks, helping me up. Again, I nod. "Okay, well there's a changing room up on the deck where all the shops are. You can go there to compose yourself." he says.
I walk to the deck slowly, because my mind is still idle. Everybody is staring at me. This doesn't bother me though, because, like I said, my mind isn't really functioning.
In the girls' changing room is a mirror. I look at my reflection. I have straight, auburn hair, a little longer than shoulder length, tied back in a ponytail. However, a lot of my hair is falling out of the hairtie. I have dark turqoise eyes, and my face is covered in freckles. I'm wearing a light blue tank top, pale yellow shorts, and light blue flip flops. All of a sudden, my vision goes blurry.

"Kryne! Sweetie! I found you!" a man says to me.
"Um, do I know you?" I respond.
"Ha ha, you're such a laugh riot! I'm your father, obviously." he replies.
"Um, no, I've never seen you before in my life."
He gasps. "You got over your laryngitis! That's great news."
"I never had laryngitis. I almost drowned in the ocean and water got into my lungs."
The man gives me a death glare, but he is still smiling. "Ha ha ha." he says through gritted teeth. "Now, come into my car and let's go home."
"I'm not going with some creepy guy who claims he's my father, says that I had laryngitis even though I didn't, and is currently giving me a death glare."
"Watch or attitude or you'll regret it."
"Get lost and I won't regret it."

Aaagh, sooooo sorry! I couldn't post it on saturday because my friend inivted me to see the school play with her that night and I had bowling, then I had to eat lunch, then do homework, then eat dinner, then brush my hair (which was disaster before I brushed it. stupid long curls 
), and then go to the play which ended at 11:30pm, and I didn't get home until 12:00am because we were hanging out for a bit afterwords. Unfortunately, unless I use the iPad to post the next chapter which would be very annoying, I can't post the next chapter until next wednesday (not tomorrow, the following wednesday) because I'm going on a small vacation to Ireland to visit my brother who is studying abroad there. Sorry!

Wow, its been a while! Well, the waiting is over, here is chapter 2! Oh, and I accidentally said that Kryne's haircolor is auburn, but I meant to say that it is strawberry blond. So please make that correction mentally. And in this chapter, sentences in italics are being thought by the designated character, just to let you know.
Chapter 2: An Unlikely Friend and Enemy
I walk out of the changing room and I see a girl standing on the deck looking at the water. Because I need help with my.....situation, I walk up to her. "Can I help you with somethin'?" she says. "Um, yeah actually. I hope. My name is Kryne. I think. I've got a bit of a problem. Or maybe a life or death situation. You see, I had this vision where some creepy guys comes over to me claiming he's my father, but I've never seen him before in my life. He says that I had laryngitis, but I never did. Then he gives me a death glare because I'm arguing with him. Oh, and he tried to get me to go into his car, but I refuse because, as I said, I've never seen him before in my life. So he's definitely not my father. Then he's acting as if I'm joking, I give him attitude so he will back off, and then the vision ends."
"Okay... Are you feeling well? Cause no offense, but you seem kinda nutty." the girl says.
"I know it sounds crazy, but you've got to help me! I just woke up along the ocean with no memory of anything. Not even my name! But the man in my vision called my Kryne, so I'm assuming that's my name."
"Eh, maybe you're not such a nutjob. I don't have proof that you're sane, but I'll give you a chance. My name's Milano."
"Nice to meet you. So, I'm not exactly sure what you can help me with, but I told you what happened, so do you have any idea?"
"Hmm...well, I think that if we keep you away from Sir Creepo, we can figure out what's going on."
"Okay, sounds good."

"We need that girl."
"You think I don't know that? She has an amazing ability, and if we had that, I can't even imagine the power we would have! We can finally accomplish The Plan."
"Yes, that's why we need her! But her ability will allow her to see our encounters with her before they happen! She can get an ally and prepare! She's obviously awake by now, and probably saw her first meeting with you!"
"Yes, but it doesn't mean she can stop it."
"Captain Idiot, do you realize that we don't know what will happen at that first encounter? She could've defeated us there!"
"It may be possible, but I doubt that's the case."
"The point is, we have to be prepared for every possibility that exists! You can't make assumptions in situations as urgent as this!"
"Don't worry, soon she will be ours, and her power will be used by us. Nobody else."
"For the sake of your job, The Plan, and our life, I hope you're right."

@Julia- Thanks! Oh, and gender is one of the questions in case you have a name that I've never heard before, like Milano (no offense, Miks), that I'm not sure the gender of. Or if you have a name like mine, Nat (which people do call me in real life. its a fraction of my real name), which is a gender neutral name.
@Everyone- I will post the next chapter as soon as I can. I've been busy with bat mitzvahs, my cousin's wedding on the same day as my friend's bat mitzvah, friends asking me to hang out with them, trying to kill my brother, a broken AC causing me to be too hot and lazy to think, cooling off the ferret (heh heh, did I just type that? well, I'll explain. I live in New York, and our weather has been pretty messed up. winter was pretty warm like spring, spring was more cold and rainy like winter, and although it technically doesn't start until June 21st, we have been getting our own summer. and i have a pet ferret, Daisy [the cutest, friendliest, and most affectionate thing ever, might I add]. ferrets were not made for hot conditions. they get worse than we do in the heat. i guess she can kinda...die if it got extremely hot. but I'm not sure. anyway, so she was clearly very hot, I mean, she was lying in a heap with very sad eyes, her tongue was sticking out and it was clearly 100% dry, so she was in bad condition. so my mom took her to the sink and ran cold water on her [which she hated!] and then got her a small glass of water to drink from and took her into the cool basement to cool her off. for the rest of the day, she slept on a pillow in our den with a fan very close to her and on all day just for her.), and, unfortunately, homework. @Everyone- I will post the next chapter as soon as I can. I've been busy with bat mitzvahs, my cousin's wedding on the same day as my friend's bat mitzvah, friends asking me to hang out with them, trying to kill my brother, a broken AC causing me to be too hot and lazy to think, cooling off the ferret (heh heh, did I just type that? well, I'll explain. What Happens When- Another Story by SportyCommander1 aka Nat
Okay, my parent and brother ruined my day, so I have nothing to do and I might as well post chapter 3.
Chapter 3: Friends Through Crimes
"Um, Kryne, where exactly did you talk to this creepy guy?" Milano asks me. I look around. "Right there, near the hot dog stand!" I say to her.
"Looks like we made good timing then. See, a guy is walking up to that area. Probably Sir Creepo." Milano responds. I look at the man.
"Yeah, it looks like him. Maybe we should hide." I say.
"Gee, ya think?" she replies. Milano grabs my wrist and runs behind a garbage can.
"What should we do?" I whisper.
"I...I'll probably regret this, but I'm gonna create a distraction." Milano whispers back.
"Why will you regret it?"
"Because the distraction has to be enough to greatly delay him." Milano turns around. "Perfect." she says.
"A big rock?" I respond.
"No, its plastic. The people who own the beach put these around for decoration. They aren't that heavy."
"So?"
"I'll show you." Milano picks up the plastic rock and throws it at the man. He grunts as it hits him in the stomach, and collapses onto his knees. Then, she picks up another imitation rock and throws it at him again. He falls down with his back on the sand. Milano runs up to him. "Sorry," she says in a mocking tone. "This beach is pretty rocky." Just then, the lifeguard blows his wistle and runs over to Milano and grabs her. He pulls out a walkie talkie. "We have a situation here, please send the police!" he says into it. Milano doesn't say anything, but she struggles to get out of his grip. A few minutes later, the police show up. They handcuff Milano and shove her into the police car. One of the police men helps up the guy Milano threw the rocks at. That just makes me angry. He deserved to be hit by plastic rocks! But I look away from him and at the police car, driving away with Milano in the back seat.
