Are you still willing to do what needs to be done to lead the Cahills to victory. The Vespers must be defeated, but that doesn't mean they have to be destroyed. I am a friend too. But, the Cahills come first. I would expect them to be the same way.

FD, The AVC is entitled to take care of someone when they betray us because if they were in the AVC first their beef is with me. It won't be the first time. People have already betrayed us. Most of them became Vespers because those were their options for disobeying Cahill laws.
