This is a story worth reading, belive me. Well, if you want to know which one I am, I'm Bella! (Bella Starling, to be exact.....) Well, I'm writing the first chapter, so here you go!!!
I steped straight out of the taxi, and gladly. They need better service, I thought.
I was just then droped of at the docks. Where is this said to be amazing ship? I rubbed my eyes.... then yawned. I was sooooo tired. All that packing can make you get cramps. I was here for the voyage on the Ekatomaluja 3000. Or, as I call it, the modern Titanic. You see, it was nearing winter, and icebergs were probably forming. And.... Iwasafraidweweregoingtohitaniceberg. There, I said it. Well anyway, back to our story.
I saw the code stand in front of me. Everyone who wanted to come aboard the ship had to have a code, And I enjoy mine.
"What's your code?" said the man at the stand, who I have to admit was a little creepy.
"I'll just tell you it," I said.
"You've memorized it?"
"Yep. It's DONTEATMYLUNCH."
"Why would I eat your lunch? Now, tell me your code."
"That was it."
"What was it?"
"Don't eat my lunch all together!"
"I guess I'll search it."

Okay, here you are!!! Back from where I left it!!!!!
"I guess I'll search it," said the creepy code man. "Hey, I guess it is a real code. Alright, come aboard, kid."
"Thanks! Bye!" The man wasn't really so creepy anymore.
I saw the wall behind the man open into a small tunnel. I walked in, curious about what it lead to. Then the secret door closed. No turning back now. I thought. I saw something glowing ahead. I hurried up, going and slightly running to a hand scanner that said:
BE CAHILL TO PASS
I put my hand on the scanner, then it said, "Welcome, Ekat!"
The door opened, then my mouth dropped to the floor. "That's huge!" I cried, amazed by the Ekatomaluja 3000.
There was a lady on a stand, talking to everyone, or trying to. "Everyone, excuse me, EVERYONE!!!!!!" She said(or more like screamed) The lady had curled-at-the-ends purple hair, wearing a hot pink dress, and was around nineteen years old. Quite pretty, if I do say so myself. Everyone had calmed down after that.
"Hello, everybody. I'm so glad you were able to come today. We've got some famous agents with us! I'm Emily Wacsin, a Janus, and also your director of this cruise. I'm so glad everyone's here, but we don't have enough rooms for all of you! So everyone has a buddy they share their room with!" Emily snapped her fingers, and a man gave her a sheet of paper."Sarah What goes with Lizzy Why. Well, that's an interesting start. Jack How is with Barry Who. Okay. Moving on. Sarah Where goes with....."
Five minutes later....
"Bella Starling, Wow, goes with Wendy Cahill."
"I guess I'll search it," said the creepy code man. "Hey, I guess it is a real code. Alright, come aboard, kid."

I couldn't wait. I had finally been allowed to go on a fancy ship. The Ekatomaluja 3000 was supposed to be one of the safest ships ever, especially for Cahills like me. I was a Lucian, the scheming, plotting branch if Cahills. But on top of that, I was also a Madrigal, the secret branch. No one knew about the Madrigal part. Yet. I had just barely been accepted to go on this voyage. I came from a poor family, where everyone, even my 7 year-old sister, had to work for food. This ship was going to be a break for me. I was actually on my way to a secret Madrigal meeting, but everyone was supposed to think I was just going to a Lucian meeting. And everyone did. Or so I thought. After walking three miles to get to the ship, I was tired. I wasn't in the mood for anything. All I wanted to do was just get on the ship and lie down in my quarters. Of course, that didn't happen. I strode over to the man who we were supposed to tell our code to. When the man asked for my code, I pulled out a little slip of paper and handed it to him. He let me go through. I walked through the tunnel behind him, checking my watch. I hoped I wasn't late! I was so busy looking down that I almost didn't notice a sign above me saying BE A CAHILL TO PASS. I put my hand on the scanner and it announced, "Welcome Lucian and Madrigal!" "Shh!" The sound escaped my lips before I could stop it. I quickly looked around to see if anyone had heard, but no one was in the tunnel with me. The door opened and I walked into the room. The Ekatomaluja 3000 was huge and expensive looking. A scary looking lady stood on a stand screaming names out. She smiled at me when I came in and I tried to smile back, but something about that smile was bugging me. It looked almost...fake. It looked like I'd already missed the introduction, and now, of course, I was confused. A boy standing near me leaned over and whispered "She's calling put names of roommates. What's your name?" "Wendy Cahill," I answered. "She hasn't called your name yet." "Thanks." Just then, the scary lady called "Sam Thompson and Sarah Underdog!" The boy, Sam, walked off the direction the lady pointed, waving at me as he left. I smiled in spite of myself. He was kind of cute. "Bella Starling, wow, goes with Wendy Cahill!" The lady suddenly called. I jumped and headed off the direction she pointed. I guess Bella Starling, whoever she is, is my roommate.

The lady pointed to a girl with brown hair and interesting eyes. That must be Wendy, I thought. Then a man appered with Wendy.
"Wow," The man said, "you're real small for a Starling. Ned Starling was one of my paniets a while ago when was a doctor.Very red hair."
"Yep. I plan on visit him sometime before he gets kidnapped." I said. I'd never really met any of my siblings.
"Well, here's Wendy," He said, "If you two need anything, I'm in the ship's hospital."
"Thanks!"

"And now everyone has their roomates!!" Emily checked her watch. 7: 59. " Climb aboard in 1,2,.....3! 8:00!!! Get right on a once-in-a-lifetime opertunity!"
Me and Wendy pushed through the crowd to where you board the ship.
"You two are room... 18!!"said a helpful man.
"Thank y-" Wendy tried to say, but I just pushed her inside.

"I heard that!'" I said. He just rolled his eyes and walked away.
"Do you ever time your time?" She asked me.
"Rarely."
"Well, you should more often."
"Okay, O- WOW!!!!!" I cried.

Wendy's POV: "Okay O- WOW!!!" Bells cried as we walked into the ship. She had a right to be amazed. The inside of the ship was amazing! Marble floors sparkled, reflecting light from the marvelous chandeliers hanging above us. Even though the ship was crowded with people, neither one of us noticed them as we stood still, taking in the beautiful decorations. "Wow..."I murmmered. It basically summed up both of our thoughts. Finally, I tore my eyes away from the scenery and looked down at the papers the lady had given us. "C'mon Bella," I said. "Let's go to our cabin." Bella nodded and followed me through the hallways to our cabin door. We stopped outside of the room the lady had told us to go to. "Ready?" I asked, my hand on the doorknob. Bella nodded. "Let's do this." I turned the knob, opened the door, and was once again, amazed by what I saw.

Here it is:
Wendy twisted the knob, and she opened the sparkling clean door.
"Oh, wow." Wendy and I both said together in astonishment. I kicked off my flip-flops, running my toes through the fuzzy carpet, then ran and then jumped onto the huge bed. It was so soft, I sunk into it. Hanging from the ceiling was a candeler (sp?) like thing. A huge flatscreen TV covered up most of that wall.
Meanwhile, Wendy was enjoying herself as well. I grabbed the remote, turned the TV on, chose English out of ten different languges, glanced at a sheet of paper that said which channels were what, and Disney channel's Shake it Up turned on.
"Wow, Wendy. Look what I found!" I called to Wendy.
"What is it?" she replied, walking over to me.
"It's an invation to a party! And look! It says All branches aloud. I'm not so sure that's a good idea."
"Why not?"
"The results are never good when put all branches together."
"Oh. Right. I'm sure they'll do something about that."
"Yeah. You're probably right."
"The ship is about sail! Let's go aboard the deck and watch it sail away!" Wendy said, and we flip our shoes back on and ran out the door.
There you go, Wendy! Your turn now!
Wendy twisted the knob, and she opened the sparkling clean door.
"Oh, wow." Wendy and I both said together in astonishment. I kicked off my flip-flops, running my toes through the fuzzy carpet, then ran and then jumped onto the huge bed. It was so soft, I sunk into it. Hanging from the ceiling was a candeler (sp?) like thing. A huge flatscreen TV covered up most of that wall.
