I was driving along the freeway listening to the never-ending laments of Lilya Chernova. And it was starting to get on my nerves. "And it was so like a brand new dress, except the fact that it got ripped while I was going to the science fair!" That was Lilya bantering on. "Shut Up!" I roared. "If you say one more sentence including both dress and science fair I swear I will drive off a cliff and kill us both!" She looked offended "Don't be so grouchy because you don't have the same fasion sense that I do." I snorted "Yea, you go shopping with Natalie Kabra for one day and because you both like the same clothing stores you think that you have the best fasion sense in the whole world." She looked outraged "How the heck did YOU know about that?!" "Trust me, your the only person I know that would go outside in a full length pink gown. I saw you both in the same taxi so I followed you." "You are so ANNOYING!" "Thank you." I replied "That wasn't a compliment." she seemed baffled "I know" I said full aware of what would come next "See this is what I mean!" Lilya was blowing her gasket. I got tired and concentrated on my driving.After a while she said "You didn't tell Ekat leadership did you?" I shrugged, "I'm not one to tattle." "Good, because if you were I would be telling Amy Cahill who suggested her little brother put frogs in her underwear drawer." My hands tightened around the steering wheel. "How did you? I didn't even meet him in person!" "I wiretapped your phone." she replied with a shrug. My hands tightened even further. "You are going to be SO lucky if I don't report you." "And YOUR going to be lucky if I don't tell Amy Cahill this info that I have!" She retorts. I calmed down, we had reached a stalemate. "Fine, you stay shut and so will I" "Deal" After another while she said, "Just one more question please?" "WHAT IS IT!" "Calm down first" "Fine" "Thats better, I was wondering who this Shea Howard your texting is." "She had crossed the line. "You put a receiver in my phone didn't you?!" "Thank you pointing that out Captain Obvious" She said cackling. "I didn't even know you had the skills to get a girlfriend and that you were so romantic." While batting her eyelashes. "Trust me Lilya, I didn't become one of the most dangerous people in a branch by falling for every second girl that I saw." " Ah yes, the great Cosimo Cahill. Rumoured to have done 21 assasinations and 2 Vesper murders." "Thats confidential information!" I replied outraged. "How did you get to know about it?" "Getting information is part of the job sweetie." I gave a sigh of relief as the hospital came into view. "Come on lets get to work"
