Hey guys. I don't know if the preview was posted, so I'll tell you a little about myself before I start. Hi, I'm Jimmy. Well, that's not my real name. My name is very uncommon, so if I mentioned my name, the Vespers may somehow track me. If I feel safe, I may put it on here. I'm 12 years old and I'm in 6th grade. I am pretty smart and I love writing. You know what, I feel braggy. I'm not pretty smart I'm the smartest kid in my grade! Now let's move on to my online live. I'm writing a story with Gabby and I'm loving it. I write other stories. I wrote a story off the message board about aliens. I know, weird, right? It's a series and I'm on the 3rd book. I also made a club called the COCUAV. No one joined, of course. Finally, I am one of the leaders of the AVC. Well, unless they haven't kicked me out.
Story Time!
Chapter 1: The call
Hi. I'm Jimmy Tangles. I was just a regular Ekat until the day Cahill Command called me. I lived in an Ekat Stronghold, but I barely stayed there. I was always out hunting Vespers. Since I was four I was doing something Cahill related. The reason was... well, maybe I should do it in flashback form.
Flaskback...
I was two years old. My dad and I were going to get breakfast. I was singing songs when a car trailed up right next to us. My dad sped up. So did the other car. I saw the driver had an angry, crazy look and I began to scream. My dad slowed down, hoping we would lose the man. But the man just turned around and sped about 100 mph at us.
"GET OUT OF THE CAR!" my dad screamed. I obeyed. I didn't understand what was happening. My dad started backing up, but it was too late. The car slammed into my car. The airbags flew out. My dad's head hit them. The hood of the car lit on fire. It was smashed beyond repair. The other driver, a Vesper scrambled out.
"Dada?" I said. "What dada doing?"
My dad just sat there. A firetruck pulled up and opened the car door. Smoke poured out and so did my dad's limp and unmoving body. One of the firemen picked me up. He began to comfort me.
"It's ok," he had said.
"Where dada?" I asked.
"Dada..." he began. "We don't know what's gonna happen to dada."
The fireman sighed as if this happened often. I began to cry. I didn't know what was happening, but my dad hadn't moved. My mom pulled up. Her eyes were red from crying. They put my dad in an ambulance. I got in my mom's car and we drove there. I don't remember my dad's death.
Back to the present...
I sat on the couch. This was my only moment I had had off for a month. Too bad I was in Mexico. I couldn't enjoy it. All the TV shows were in Mexican. I sighed. I would rather be out fighting Vespers right now. I picked up my phone. No new texts. Off course. I was about to text someone when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I said.
"Jimmy!" said a familiar voice.
"Hi Sinead! What's up?"
"Oh, nothing much. I had a question for you. Would you like to embark on the mission that will save the hostages?"
"Oh my gosh of course!"
"Come over to Cahill Command. Plane tickets are booked. Your flight leaves in two hours so you'd better get going!"
I ran to pack my bags. i grabbed my cell phone, laptop, iPod, and a few other things and threw them in. I ran out the door. I grabbed a taxi that took me to the airport. I was ready to go.

We all jumped out of the helicopter and it seemed like we were falling to our death's.
" Okay, to the count of three we pull the cord to our parashoutes." Jimmy said.
"One..." Alexis said.
"Two......" Ella shouted over the raur of the blades.
"THREE!!" we all shouted. Pulling on the cord, we made our way into the Vesper signals.
As we made our way down, we had to be careful because of the Vespers sercurity system.
"Um... Jimmmy Vesper signal at three o'clock." I said. Jimmy had barly made it past the signals.
"Thanks, Lily." he said, "Also, Ella and Alexis, watch out on your 12 o'clock." Tje doged the signals by moving to their 6 o'clock positions. I looked at Alexis and then Jimmy and Ella.
"This is soo AMAZING!!!" I shouted, "I wish everyday was an adventure like this!!" Then Alexis loked like she was about to cry. After that I decied to keep my mouth shut.
"How many more feet?" asked Jimmy.
"About three hundred more feet!" exclaimed Ella. Then we kept doging them for what seemed like forever.
" Two hundred!" exclaimed Alexis. More signals dodged.
" Fifthy!" yelled Ella. More signals being dodged.
"Twenty!" yelled Jimmy.
"Five more feet!" exlcaimed Alexis.
Then we finally made it to the ground.

Alexis- You are so stinking HILARIOUS!!! My brothers named Paul. I'm not offended though. And the kowabunga part sounds like my cousin. He was in kindergarden (now in ninth grade) and it was his first day on the bus. He jumped out into the aisle and screamed KOWABUNGA!!! He got a letter sent home. Tee hee!

The ocean felt cold against my feet. "OK, guys, the signals are coming from straight ahead," I say. "Swim underwater so the read beams of light don't catch us. Wrap up your parachute so it doesn't slow you down."
I went scuba diving before, so this was a snap. The others, not so much. Alice kept avoiding the fish. Ella kept going up for air, even though she didn't need it. Alexis kept going towards the fish. Lily was the only one who followed me. Eventually, I had to grab Alexis before she went after a fish that was about a quarter mile away.
We were only about 200 yards from the headquarters. All of a sudden, I noticed a shark tank. The sharks went crazy at the sight of us. Aliexis screamed. I covered her mouth.
"Stay still and quiet until they lose interest," I whispered through the mouthpiece. Finally, the sharks turned away. All four of us swam like rockets the rest of the way. The headquarters was a sort of rebuilt and more technelogical version of a sunken ship. We landed on the top.
"Now what?" I could barely understand Lily's words. Then I caught sight of another scuba diver in the corner of my eye.
"Just follow my lead!" I cried. We hid behind a rock until he reached a door. The door opened. We swam in behind him. All the water was drained from the hallway inside the door.
A voice echoed in the hallway. "Name and number please," said the voice.
"Bancroft, 4," said the Vesper.
Vesper 4! I mouthed. Then I knocked him out.
Then, we reached a fork in the road. Alice and I ran to the left and the others ran to the right. We found ourselves in front of a computer room guarded by an array of lasers. We climbed through the first five, but then Alice got into some trouble. She couldn't get through. I grabbed her hand and pulled her through. Suddenly, Lily, Alexis and Ella appeared, charging at us followed by about fifty Vesper guards.
"GO!" screamed Alexis. "WE'LL HOLD 'EM OFF!"
Alice and I entered the computer room. I took out a flashdrive and loaded it into the computer. The others were putting up a fight, but some of the guards began trickling through the lasers.
"HURRY, JIMMY!" they all screamed.
"I can't find anything on the hostages," I yell.
"Just download it all!" Alice screamed back, now fighting Sandy Bancroft. I obeyed. I ripped out the flashdrive and threw it to Alice. Sandy jumped on me and took out a knife. I looked closely into the weatherman's face and recognized it.
"You..." I started. "YOU KILLED MY DAD!!!"
I knocked the knife from his hand. It clattered to the ground. Sandy pushed my hands to the ground. I couldn't move.
"Alice, GO!" I screamed. "GET THE OTHERS AND RUN!"
In that moment, I knew this was certain doom. Alice, tears in her eyes, ran. Sandy picked up the knife and raised it high. Suddenly, there was commotion outside of the computer room. Suddenly, water flooded the room. Sandy was thrown off of me and I swam away. My friends were waiting.

I couldn’t believe myself ,how could I be so infuriating to myself, first I leave jimmy behind to fight vesper 4 and now I have tears in my eyes ,"how great” I mumble to myself sarcastically as I ran,why in the world was i tearing up for that.........that.........IT.all he's been doing since we started this mission was acuse me of being a traitor but now im crying because of the guilt of leaving him behind,and i hadnt even cryed since i was a little girl .........when my dad .........died. No more tears i have to focus ......
I looked in front and soon the lasers appeared really "i don’t have time for this!!!"I said to myself and threw my dagger into a switchboard sparks erupted and the lasers winked out
I grabbed my dagger ran to where Ella, lily and Alexis were holding off the vespers
lily was doing serious tai kwon do
Alexis was blasting the vespers with a freaky weapon which would start making the vespers shake like they were having a heart attack and then fall flat on their faces with crisped hair
"nice "I muttered to myself
"THANKS!!!”Alexis shouted over her shoulder with a smile "NOW IF YOU COULD PLEASE FIND A WAY TO STOP THESE VESPERS FROM KILLIN US IT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!"
Her grin grew wider as she shot another vesper
"OH YAH!!!!! THAT’S MY 23RD ONE YET IM ON A ROLE!!!!!!"she shouted
Ella was standing behind a small water cooler so she wouldn’t be shot while talking on the phone
her oxygen stuff was on the ground next to her and she was talking on her cell to Jonah
"we're busy we can’t at this moment ....no listen to me rapper boy .........uh uh no you didn’t!!!!"Ella said starting to raise her voice
I ran to the water cooler shelter and put my hand in front of her and she put the cell in it gratefully
"whets wrong Jonah?"I asked
"well one that I can’t stay up here in the helicopter much longer because I’ll be detected by the vespers and then be SHOT DOWN!!! and the second is that nothing is in my fridge so I’m hungry can you grab me something to eat"jonah said
"fine we'll be up in a sec just hold on"i said sternly and closed the phone
but not before I heard him say “WHAT ABOUT MY FOOD!!!"
I looked at all the vespers how we could stop them all...............then a little light in my head turned on.......IDEA!!!
"ella put your oxygen tank back on and make sure alexis and lily have there's secured to ok" i said as placed my self into a crouch
"ok but what are you ......."i didnt let her finish cause jumped straight into the arny of vespers
i slid under their feat and jumped over their heads and even ran right past one i got to the door way ..........and NO i am not running away or RETREATING!
i went to a curcuit board attached to the wall and unscrewed it with my dagger
it had billions of wires in it all white this was going to be harder than i thought....but then a faintest hint of blue.......maybe not so hard
i put my dagger in and cut a blue wire hidden behind the white and just as i did so the door erupted open and water rushed in
i grabbed onto the door handle so i wouldnt get pushed in. in less than two minutes the water was touching the cieling i noticed a donut box sloating infront of me and opened it and stuffed one soggy donut in my pocket along with the
i swam in side twords the spot where the vespers had attacked us and saw no one was there but ella,lily and alexis
"liked my idea and what happened to the vespers"i said witha small smile
"it was so wierd the ground just opened underneath them as the water came in and then when we opened our eyes they were gone!"lily said
"ok well quickly go get to jonah's cordinates ella take this it’s the hard ddrive in a small water proof bag and ella please keep alexis away from the fish"i said as I handed her a bladck and blue mini bag
and lily smiled while ella gigled at alexis' shocked expressions
"bu bu bu but the fishys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"she said sadly as ella grabbed her arm taking her twords the door
lily followed but then stopped "where are you going"she asked me
"i have to find the slow poke ekat kid who stayed behind in the computer room to play games!"i said sternly but with a small smile playing at my lips
"why would jimmy be playing games???"she asked obviously not understanding what i ment
"ask ella she's great at explanations k"i replyed while swiming twords the computer room i saw the door was closed so i pushed it open and saw jimmy tied to a chair it was facing the wall so he couldnt see me
atleast his suit was still functioning since he kept grunting and trying to open up
his rope
i smiled and swam near the chair staying out of his sight and cut the rope he immediately kicked the chair backwards it almost hit me but I kicked upwards so it would miss he turned around with a frown “what are you doing here?”he asked confused “well I think im saving you from yet another jump from the vespers”I said with a smile he avoided my gaze and swam towards the door “lets go”he said obviously mad that this is the second time I saved him and that’s exactly what I told him while we were following the coordinates that jonah gave us “NO IM NOT”he shouted at me but his voice was a ll blubbery and made me laugh ‘WHATS SO FUNNY!”he shouted again “YOU!!!”I said laughed out loud when he started to look like he would explode I said”your voice……its……all………BLUBBERY” I started another fit and laughed some more This time jimmy smiled too and said”well you do too” Then we both laughed till we got to the exact coordinates and then we went upwards towords the surface and saw a helicopter with jonahs face on it hovering above us Alexis waved to us and dropped a ladder I grabbed on and jimmy followed behind as we climbed up “so what we miss” jimmy said with a grin but their expressions wiped it off his face “what happened”I said urgently “I don’t know we were checking the hard drive and then it just got deleted”lily said sadly “great!!!”jimmy said through gritted teeth”all of that for NOTHING” He kicked a chair “not realy”I said cautiously Everyone looked at me curious “well….”alexis said “I …um grabbed …..a note…….it fell when vesper 4 knocked jimmy over” “well what does it say???”lily asked I looked around at everyones faces and smiled as I said”I realy don’t know haven’t read it yet” Everyones mouth opened …even the little fish in a bowl in alexis’ hands but I guess that’s because all fish breath that way………wait! “what is that fish doing here?”I aksed “oh his names and he is my new pet and….”alexis was interrupted by jimmy who was saying “forget the fish!!! Whats in the not!!!” I took it out of my pocket and looked at the paper but before I could read what it said alexis put the bowl in jimmy’s hands and snatched the paper from me “oh oh oh oh………………”alexis said then went quite as she read the note Then she looked at everyone …..and a broad smile appeared on her face “hope you guys like snails!!!!!!!!!!!!”she asked which sounded real random “why!!!”I said and ella nodded “well you better get used to them cause this note says that vesper 4 needed to get to a meeting of the council of six at 5:30 p.m. sharp tomorrow………………….in paris “she said excitedly And paul moaned”I hate flying over paris it smells like snails there”

I sat awkwardly at the back of the helicopter. Jimmy was laughing with Alice which totally freaking me out, Alexis and Lilly were talking to Jonah and Paul was driving the helicopter with a peg on his nose. So I sat alone. I knew from the start that the mission was impossible, I was surprised we actually got something. But we did. Me stomache begain to churn, a smell met me, convicing my body I needed to vomit. I had, regretfully smelt this before it was in preschool when my mum had served everyone cooked snails. I grabbed my bottle of water and gushed down half the water. "Yo cuz'! Stop bein' a downer 'n' join us!" Jonah yelled at me, I got up
and said "Look stop with the ganstsa act! It's anoying. Okay? If otherwise I think it is far to warn you, you don't me enemy."
"Look cuz' just chill out! I don't care if you're a weirdo!"
I walked up to him and smiled. "I prefer 'quirky'. Oh and fivefourthreetwoone." I dove down to the floor pulling Alexis and Lilly down. Alexis pulled Jonah down.
"Yo, girl, what was that about?" Jonah said while rubbing his head, a second later and we a gun shot followed shortly by glass breaking. Everyone stared at me as I got up and yelled "A card would do just as well!" then I looked down. " Toes! That was my best wet suite!" All of a sudden everyone started talking at once. I wasn't even sure who said what.
"Why did you say toes, is there someting wrong with them?"
"You're worried about the suite!?"
"How did know?"
"Do you like my fishy?"
"Can you be my bodyguard?"
"That was amazing. Can you do that again?"
I tried to answer everyone but it was hard with me bad memory. "I just really like the suite. No Idea how. Um what else?"
"I belive it was; Why did you say toes are they hurt? Do you like the fish? Can you be Jonah's body guard? Can you do it again?" Alice supplied in a bored tone.
"Thank you Alice. I use the word 'toes' instead of a swear word, kind of like beep, It's a long story, they don't hurt. Of course I like the fish. No way will I be Jonah's body guard. No I can't do that again." I answered.
"Enough about Ella, I'm hungry." Alice declared.
"I know where to get an awsome pie in France!" I replied.
"No way I love pie!" Alice and Alexis shout.
"Good because we actually have that at the holdin cells!" A man says. I turn around. I stared at a regular looking guy with curly black hair that matched his dart gun. "I'm Agent Noblemen nineth deadliest Vesper, you're death or kiddnapper." he says gripping my right arm.
"Remember we only kill as a last result, nobelmen." A beautiful looking lady said. Dispite her grey hair in a bob she looked young. "I'm Charlotte Casey." The lady said to Jimmy. Behind the two Vespers I saw my best friend Christine Acre. She was the daughter of a Vesper. Christine avoided eye contact as she played with her thick black ringlets. I knew already how hard it was for her. She was trying to leak information to me, her mum the seventh deadliest Vesper. Christine no doubt was going to have to go in to combat with me now or suffer Vesper punishment. "I-I'm Ag-gent A-a-ac-c-cre two." Christine stuttered at Lilly. I grabbed a bag and jumped off the he. I hear a gun shot. I look behind me and see Lilly, Alice and Jonah flying out of the helicopter with some bags as well. I wrestled my bag on. For the second time today I was sky diving.
