Fanfiction for writing contest.
Chapter 1
Katniss Everdeen smiled as she walked around the Seam.
The Hunger Games had finally ended last year.
She and Peeta were holding hands, smiling, and enjoying the day.
When Katniss got home, she found a letter waiting for her.
She ripped it open. It read- "Katniss Everdeen, you have been selected as one of the tributes on The 39th Hunger Games of Olympus!"

Peeta stepped into his house, and found a letter with golden words on it.
"Peeta Mellark, you have been selected as one of the tributes on The 39th Hunger Games of Olympus!"

Amy and Dan Cahill walked home from a long day after regular school.
The hostages were safe and the Vespers defeated.
“Yes, no more danger!” Amy had exclaimed as they stepped on the bus.
When they got home, they found a letter waiting for them.
“"Amy and Daniel Cahill, you have been selected as one of the tributes on The 39th Hunger Games of Olympus!"

Jason got back from training.
He still felt sparks from Piper’s kiss earlier on the day.
He entered the Big House with his friends.
“Letter for you waiting in the Big House,” Chiron had said after training.
Jason ripped open the letter, and took it out.
Piper and Leo stood on either side of him, peering over his shoulder to read the note.
"Jason Grace, Piper McLean, Leo Valdez, you have been selected as one of the tributes on The 39th Hunger Games of Olympus!"

Percy, Reyna, Hazel, Frank, and Octavian all sat around a table, peering at the letter addressed to them.
"Perseus Jackson, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Reyna, Octavian, you have been selected as one of the tributes on The 39th Hunger Games of Olympus!"

Meanwhile... somewhere in the Capitol...
“Have you sent all of them?” a young female asked.
“Yes, one to each,” said a voice on the phone line.
“Perfect. This should be better than amusing.” The girl smirked.
The girl called herself...

On the train...
Katniss smashed her face into a pillow.
"And I thought it was over," she murmured.
Peeta sat beside her on the bed.
"We survived 2 Hunger Games, and a Rebellion, didn't we? If we did that, this can't be as different," Peeta said.
Katniss sighed.
"Guess Peeta's right."

Amy looked up from her book, only to see Dan going nuts just because they had no video games on the train.
Amy had read about the Hunger Games, but never thought she'd experience it.
After awhile, Dan calmed down, and the two siblings started talking.
"Hey, if we survived the Clue Hunt, the Vespers, and Interpol, then we can survive this," Dan said.
Amy hoped he was right.

Jason sat beside Piper.
Piper, Jason, Leo, Frank, Percy and Hazel were all on the train to some arena.
Hazel was talking to Valdez, Reyna was chatting with Octavian about something, and Percy and Frank were talking about horses or something.
"Do you think we can survive this?" Piper asked.
"Piper, if we survived the wars and quests between the gods and titans, then we can do this," Percy said, as if it was no big deal.
"Better be right, Pers," Jason murmured.

The mysterious 12 year old girl paced around her room, holding a list.
"I just can't wait till next week," she smirked.

A few minutes later...
Chapter 3
Katniss looked around.
All the other tributes were gathered in the same spacious room.
The room was just completey empty, except for the 22 chairs and the tributes.
"Is it just me, or are there less tributes this year? And why are the Games even being held? It ended last year!" Peeta whispered to Katniss.
Katniss just shrugged.
She looked around the room.
There was a teenage boy staring at her.
He had dirty blong hair, and stunning jade green eyes.
A tall reddish-brown haired girl standing next to him, watching 2 other teenage boys bicker. One was a handsome young man with jet black hair and amber eyes, and the other had blondish hair and glasses. The girl also had jade green eyes, like the young boy. There was another girl behind the handsome boy, but Katniss couldn't see her well... although, Katniss could make out long auburn hair.
Katniss looked away, and took her seat next to Peeta.

Dan looked at the girl standing across the room.
She was holding hands with a tall boy with blond hair and blue eyes.
"Hey, Ames, isn't that Katniss Everdeen?" Dan asked, not completely knowing how he knew.
"Yeah... wait, how'd you know? Were you reading the books? Has the Vespers messed up your brain or something?" Amy pressed her hand against his forehead, and Dan immediately swatted her hand away.
"No, I watched the movie with Atticus last month," Dan said. "It was totally cool."
Amy sighed, and joined Sinead watch Ian and Evan argue.
Dan thought this was boring, so he went to hang out with Jake, Hamilton and Jonah. They were a million times better than watching Ian and Evan fight over Amy.

Leo looked around the room.
He was bored out of his mind.
There was nothing to do.
Jason, Octavian and Reyna were chatting away about Camp Jupiter; Piper and Hazel were playing Concentration while Frank watched them; and Percy was fiddling with his pen.
Then, two girls and two boys came into the room, and the first girl asked for silence.
They all took their seats.
"Finally! Something happening!" Leo thought.

"Welcome, Cahills, Demi-gods, and Victors! My name is Tasnia. I will be hosting this years Hunger Games," said the first 12 year old girl.
"Didn't the Hunger Games end last year?" Peeta asked.
"Yes, Peeta, it did. But this is another Hunger Games, hosted by a twelve year old girl, who is crazy about The Hunger Games, The 39 Clues, and Percy Jackson, so basically, just deal with it," Tasnia said. Tasnia went over the rules of the Hunger Games, and everything else on what was happening.
"Here, are your trainers," Tasnia said, refering to the other girl and the other two boys."Demigods, your trainer will be Anna. She is Zeus's daughter, and an immortal hunter of Artemis," Tasnia said.
The red-headed girl smiled at the Demigods.
"Katniss, Peeta, your trainer will be..." *
