I woke up. It was 3 AM. I decided to announce my retirement on my twitter page. That had been bothering me. But if I was going to have a girlfriend I needed to settle down and stop being so wreckless. that was probably the best match I've ever fought but.................I retired for her.............I wasn't going to wreck this like I did with Katherine. I got up and got dressed. I hated insamnia. And when you nearly have a concussion they don't like it if you take sleeping pills. I looked over at Viper. She was still soundly asleep. i walked over and kissed her then I pulled her covers up to her neck. I left the hotel room quietly. I needed sme time to clear my head. I jumped in the Ferrari and went down to the race track. I did about 20 laps at 150 MPH before I ramped it up to 220MPH. I did 50 more laps at that speed. then (it was 5AM now) I went to a diner for a coffee and a peice of lemon creme pie. I must've sat there for an hour. I ordered another peice for Viper and left. I drove through Mccdonalds and got her coffee. It would be cold by the time she woke up but it could be reheated. but at least while I was out thinking I made a decision. I would focus first and foremost on her and her well-being. I was putting gas in my car and I saw a MAC store. I got to thinking. I went in and bought her a new iPOD and a laptop. Then I ran into K-mart and got wrapping paper and wrapped it up and put a little bow on each of them. I walked into the hotel room woth the coffee, the pie, the laptop, and the iPod. She woke up. "Morning honey. I couldn't sleep last night so I got you these." (and no they weren't please don't kill me for not taking you with me gifts ha ha.) I said handing her the packages. I grabbed the cup of coffee that was reheated and put it on her nightstand.

My POV:
I walked into my hotel room. I stared at the clock. 5 minutes left I thought. 4. 3. 2. 1. 0. I was officially 14 years old.I walked over to a table in the room and got a pen. I sat down and took a paper out of my pocket and began to decode it. 45 minutes later I had decoded the message. I had needed to use my laptop a little bit to decode it because it was so hard to decode. It read: I will accept help from you. -Vincent. Why did Vince have to be so secretive? He could have just texted me. I suddenly realized I was running late to go to a Tae Kwon Do Sparring Tournament. I grabbed my sparring gear left the hotel and walked int the parking lot. It was swarming with AVC agents. I took a taxi to the tournament.

I grabbed the cup of coffe and took a sip of it "Joe, you didn't have to get me these things." I said "open them i think you'll like it," Joe replyed back I opened the presents to see a Laptop, and Ipod" I love it!" I said as my eyes lit up "thank you," I hugged Joe "I'm going to go and get dressed, Today i'm taking you to the Vesper Stronghold, you are a Vesper." I went into the bathroom and got changed, I walked out and put my shoe's on "lets go," I said Joe was watching TV. It was ESPN And they where talking about Joe's big 100th straight win in a row. Marking him the worlds best "Why did you retire?" I asked him, he turned off the TV and walked over twords me "for you," Joe said to me I smiled "Well, today is going to be busy, " I grabbed his hand and headed out of the room.

She still refused to let me drive for fear I could still have a concussion. I decided not to press the fact that I drove last night. We got to the stonghold, and I was surprised to find out that vesper 6 was a desk jockey. "I'm also a field agent but, I interrogate prisoners from here. I am at heart, a field agant." She said. "Speaking of which we have a prisoner to interogate." She said setting a few things down in her office and heading for the door. "No," I grabbed her as she pulled Winter out of her pocket. "Put the snake back and watch the cameras in the jail I'll take care of the prisoner." She put the snake back in her pocket and gave me the keys to the prison. "Today you learn mercy." I pulled out my DROID and ordered a pizza and had it delivered to the base. I grabbed it and walked back to the cell. Viper asked what it was for I just told her to wait and see. As i was leaving she sat at her desk with her eyes fixed on the monitors, I saw her adjust the volume so she could here. I opened the cell door, and curled up like a cat in the corner was an emaciated 16 year old girl. I could see every bone of her exposed skin. She looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks. She barely had any clothes on. They'd probably taken all of them from her. As I suspected, they were Vespers, and not as hostpitable toward prisoners as I was....
I sat down on the floor near her. "If you are here to torture information out of me, or hurt me, or threaten to kill me, save it, I'll be dead soon enough." She said. "That's not at all why I am here. I'm wearing decent clothing. You think i'd wear something nice to torture prisoners. Here take a couple peices." I meant the first part about torture in good clothes sarcastically. As she took it letting out a chuckle.I opened up the pizza box and set it between us. She hesitated for a moment then she quickly sprang out and grabbed a peice she ate it hurridly. "You are not like the other people here, you seem nicer." She said. "Well I veiw torture and causing uneccessary pain and problems as wrong unless they are absolutely neccessary. But I need you to tell me everything you know. I don't have any rank and I already stopped them from hurting you once. I don't think I can stop them from doing it again. I just don't want harm to come to you. I may even be able to get you more luxourious living arangements." I said pulling out a clipboard to take down the things she told me. I learned that her name was Claire, and that she was From my neck of the woods in the Dakotas. I also got more than enough info to take to viper. I left the cell, she was still eating the pizza, I only had one peice, I left the rest for he. She was hungry and what was more she talked. She deserved at least that. "Okay, now that I am a Vesper, cruel treatment of prisoners that enter this facility ends now." I said to viper watching her eat the pie I got her while I was out last night. She was on her new lap top. "I am going to use my money to make her living conditions better, make her comfortable, and get her a doctor, it is clear to me she has been here with no food for a while," I pointed to the monitors. viper just stared at me. I braced myself for an earbeating. "I have the info on this clipboard, you'll find it satisfactory." I put it in front of her she picked it up and read through it. I pulled my New Jersey Devils shirt on over top of my long sleeve shirt, (hey what can I say i am Brodeur's number 1 fan). She just resumed staring at me. I couldn't tell weather it was in disgust or amazment at my interogation skills.

I was steaming, afraid that smoke would burst from my ears at any moment. What else was new? Nothing. Joe commands, I get mad. Joe offers, I refuse. Joe plays the love, I kill it. Why? Because I feel like it. Viper can think what she wants of me, but I will not cooperate with the girl who has taken my place. I walked down to the research lab of the AVC hotel and asked for information on the chopper. All they knew was just as much as I did. Nothing. As usual. I had nothing to work with. I didn't even know where the chopper came from, where it was planning to go, nothing. Then I realized the plot. Joe had sent me on a wild goose chase. There were absolutely no records of a chopper crash, anywhere. And I had looked everywhere. I had even called the air base. Great. As I sat on my bed and stared out the window, I began to think of my home. My old boyfriends. My family. Everything. I had lived in a nice house. A nice neighborhood. I had my first bf in 8th grade. Cameron, an Ekat. Killed by the Vespers within 2months. My second bf, in 9th grade. Luke. We were together for 2 years, he disappeared without a trace. Non-Cahill. My last bf. Drew, a Tomas. I was with him until I dropped out of high school. Haven't heard from him since I came to Shangri-La all those months ago. I had betrayed him. So I decided to make a call. To a guy named Drew.I hoped he still remembered me....

I was speechless, what Joe did stunned me "I'm speechless.... Thats all i can say," I walked over to Joe "If you be nice you can get things done, being mean dosen't get anything done its just makes it more irritating." I smiled at Joe "I guess your....your... your right." I whispered when i said right, i hated admitting when someone other than me was right. There was a Cahill that we just got the other day that knew alot about the Cahill serum, and where Vince might be "Well i'm going to see if i leanred anything from you," I walked out anf turned my head, Joe was looking at the monitor.
When I got into the prison i took a seat across the Cahill, It was a man, about 26 and was well rounded. "I'm not talking," He snarled at me " I know... I was just going to give you something," I tossed him a watch that hade a secrete comparment in it that hade a photo of him and his wife "um, thanks?" He said he took the photo out and held it to his chest "Listen, Just tell me sone info and i'll release you, and you can go home to your family." His eyes lit up "really?" I nodded. I took out a clip board and worte down all he told me "wait a minute... I thought you where mean and evil, why are you letting me go?" I smiled at him "I know whats its like to have someone you love....I have a boyfriend and i would do anything for him... Not shure if he would do the same, but i do love him... so i understand," I snapped my fingers and two Vesper guards came over "Release him, then drive him to the airport," I handed him a plane ticket "There will be someone when you get back home that will take you to the airport." They released him. I took a deep breath then went back to my office. Joe looked at my "Did you really mean what you said... that you would do anything for me?" He asked "Of corse.... I didn't lie, I do love you." I ran my fingers threw my hair "So.... how did i do?" I asked.

As my plane touched down in Egypt I looked out the window. It was so.....desert-y. But it also had the Great Pyramids, one of the world's greatest wonders. After I got settled at my hotel in Aswan, I saw a paper airplane soar towards me. I snatched it in mid-air and read what it said:

I received a text from a guy in the labs explaining Katherine's confusion.I texted her. The lab told me you were confused. The chopper crashed in Edmonton. It was headed to vancouver it was something secretive that no one was supposed to know about. They were carrying a new type of weaponry that was supposed to take down a vehicle with out destroying the chopper. I figured since you were there you, me and viper could all go see the Oilers. that's all.

I stared at her. "You learned well grasshopper." I said to her. I hugged her. "Tell me why you retired and don't you dare say 'for me' what was the reasoning behind that?" She asked. I let her go. "I didn't want you to have to see me in pain. I didn't want to get myself killed or parylized or crippled like happened before to one of the guys. I didn't want you to have to take care of me when I did that. And I didn't want to lose you, I was affraid you'd leave if I got hurt. So it was either sacrifice something I love to do or sacrifice the woman I love with all my heart. Those were my choices." I said. I saw a tear on her face. "You'd do that for me" she said. "Yes, but more to the point the AVC may think they found Vince, and I will need someone to go with me when I meet NO ONE. If he tries to kill me I want you to be sure that you want to be there. I don't want you to be hurt. But it's your decision to make. I can only try to convince you not to do anything stupid. Anyhow my sources tell me Vince was last seen in Anchorage Alaska. We should start there and see if we can peice together a trail. Enough Vacation it's go time. But I want you to have something. it's a surprise get into the car." She ran out and got in the front seat. I blindfolded her. "That'll add to the surprise" i said as I drove. Winter started to sneak out of her pocket. i didn't pay much attention to the snake, it was meant for her, but had a chip in it's brain so it knew not to bite anyone on the list. Me Katherine, Seeker, AVC agents, So on and so fourth. I just patted her head. We were there the AVC base in Calgary. I put Winter in one of her hands and walked her in. On the wall was an IRONMAN suit with a big V carved into the chest plating. It was her faorite colors. And in front of her was a shelf full of upgrades. I got behind her and took the blindfold off of her. "Ta da" I said putting my arms up.

I was so surprised.What Joe did compleatly stunned me "I LOVE IT!" I ran over to the suit and looked at it "how did you know Black, and Red where my favorite colors?" I asked Joe, he smiled "I do my homework." He said "Ok its so offical, I'm am the most lucky girl ever," Joe smiled at me "Ok so back to work. I am going with you to see this No One. And i feel so offended that you would think i would do something stupid.... I'm 20... going to be 21 soon," I mumbled thouse last words under my breath. My birthday was comming up next month and i hated when people tried to celebrate it. "I can take care of myself, I won't get hurt. and you won't get killed." We walked back to the car, we stopped at the Vesper stronghold I went in and got my laptop, after missing several days of work i knew that today was going to be stressful. I hade alot of work to finish. putting Vespers out on the field. Telling Assassins what there job from Vesper One was ECT, Vaction was over. Time to get back to work.

I replyed back to Carson's text

Guys, to show you what is about to happen, I will be doing this POV
Carson's POV:
'Well, look like I won't need the Info from Cobra and Vince after all' I thought as I got the text from No One, " I heard you have been looking for me. Well, you have found me, just come to my coordinates. Please come soon, No One." I thought it would be easy. 'If I could only speak with No One, I could reveal the truth to him. And even if it was a trap, he couldn't stop this body. Nobody could stop the nanobots' I thought. I then tracked the text, and found they were somewhere in the Atlantic ocean. 'Must be on one of the Nohting's ships' I thought. I told the secretary to tell Joe I was gone if he ever wanted to have the meeting, and I left. Just a few hours latter, I was at the ship.
It was one of the battleship that the Nothing "Stole" from different countries. The deck was filled with Nothing Agents, including my brother and some strange girl I have never seen before. All I knew was that she must be important to No One, because she was with his elite guard. I then transformed into my human form on the ship. The scarry part? Not a single person was surprised by it. So, they did now about my experiments.
"Hello, traitor," No One said, speaking as if I killed his best friend or something. "So, why are you here? To try to make me betray my family? Or maybe to kill me? Doesn't matter, really."
"No One, I am not here to make you betray your family. However, I do hope to make you realize that what the Nothing is doing is wrong, and you should leave."
"Oh yeah? How is peace wrong? We are in phase 3 of the plan right now, Carson. We are this close," No One said, doing the thing people do when they say that, "to acheiving peace. You tried to stop that. You don't realize the truth..."
"NO! You don't realize the truth. The Nothing lied to you. Your family is not dead!" I shouted.
"How dare... Oh, I see, you are trying to give me false hopes, and lie to me. Make me think that if I betray the Nothing, I will still have my family. Well, I am not falling for it. My family is dead, and it is all because of the war between Cahills and Vespers."
"No, Nolan, you are wrong," I said, seeing No One's shock of me knowing his name, "Your family is alive. And I am proof. I am your brother. When you were two, The Nothing kiddnapped you. I only found this out receantly, after I joined the Nothing. You need to belive me."
"Believe you? It is one thing to lie to me about me family, another to say you, a traitor, is my family. Any regret for what I am about to do is gone now, Traitor."
"What," I said as No One took out some sort of device.
"This is what will defeat you. It will connect you to the ODYSEUS AI. ODYSEUS will then send the LEGION virus into your systems. It will take over you, and it is already working," he said as I could no longer move myself. "It will consume Carson before you can download yourself. You have lost, and I have won."
As he was saying this, I was using every ounce of my strength to write a text to all my contacts, including my Liutenents, FireDragon, Grace, Ashley, Cobra, and everyone else. Katherine may be able to benchpress 250, but I was nowhere near her strength. Speed and agility were my main weapons, and admittedly, I was getting a bit lax. So, after running through about three styles of martial arts and sparring with a few of the patrons, I finally picked up my phone to find that, oh joy, I had 13 new messages. Most of them were from, guess who, management, but one was from Mark and another from Byrd. I decided to look at Mark's first:

The day was over and we were back in the hotel. she told me about the little shopping Venture. "I have some buisness over that way next week. But I suppose we can bump it up." I pulled out my cell and place the call. "I own that plaza so will 50,000 be enough or will you need more." She laughed. "Honey like 3 grand is fine, this is not Vegas. I know you never set foot in a place like that unless you're there to fire someone, but my friends aren't rich." She said. she called me 'Honey' well, I think it was time for something of my own. "Well babe, How about I do this. Since I am a nice guy. I'll meet you there when it's time to pay, you and your friends can each pick out up to $5,000 in merchandise for free." I said. She lit up like a Christmas tree. "You'd do that for strangers......" she said. I nodded. "I LOVE YOU." She said throwing her arms around me and giving me a kiss. I'd forgotten we were on the bed. She fell asleep in my arms. trhat either meant I was boring or comfortable but.......either way she loved me. I could tell that. And she didn't know how much I loved her. At least not yet. I hoped I could show her, but she'd never let me. I got tired and fell asleep too. But I was on the other side of her bed. I couldn't help but dream about her throwing things at me for falling asleep there............

I was listening to Katherine's phone call (AVC phones are always bugged in case of treachary) I was in tears. Not sorrow because i'd lost her but I was happy she found someone that I could tell genuinely loved her. I did my homework on the guy and discovered where he lived. I E-mailed him the AVC initiative. I woke up, The first thing i looked at was the clock, it was 9:30 AM. I turned my head to see that Joe was on the other side of the bed. I took my pillow and hitted Joe twice with it, It didn't wake him up so i moved over twords him, I layed my head on his sholder. That seamed to wake him "sorry, did i wake you?" I said in a soft voice, Joe turned over to face me "I'm surprised, you arn't throwing things at me cause i was sleeping in your bed with you,"-"I was thinking about throwing something at you when I woke up.... But i'm in a good mood so i don't want to ruin that," I started to kiss Joe, He grabbed me and put me on top of him, we where still kissing until my cell phone went off. I pulled away from him and shaked my head, I had a feeling that it was Abbey. She always had a way of interrupting me when I was busy. I got out of bed and looked at my texts. And I was right, it was Abbey. Morning, how ya doing?~Abbey I just wanted to put my hand threw the phone and strangle Abbey. So I texted her back How am i doing!, hmm lets see, i woke up in a good mood, was happy and then you texted me while I was in the middle of something and YOU RUINED IT, so you figure it out~Viper I got dressed, then went out into the living room I got something to eat then took a seat and turned on the TV. They where still talking about Joe. It must be a slow news week "Wow Joe, there still talking about you. How dose it feel to still be on TV for the 5th day in a row?" I said to him, he took a seat next to me on the couch "Well it feels great," He replyed back to me. The time between 9 and noon went by fast. I saw Abbey's car, Jessica, Maggie, and Lisa where in there too "there here, see you later." I runned out of the room and to the car.
"Sorry about this morning, One question. what did i ruin?" Abbey asked I told her what she ruined "sorry, I didn't know." Maggie, Lisa, and Jessica started braggin about there husbands. The car ride to the mall felt like forever. when we got there i ran out of the car "Ok listen, I want to shop. so i sugest you stop talking for about 5 minutes." The first store in the mall we went to was a jewerly shop. every year I always replace my jewerly. While the girls where swarmed over a diamond necklace I was looking at the most beautiful ring I ever layed eyes on , I wanted to get it but there was one proublem. It was an engagment ring. I looked at it for about 30 more seconds then walked off wishing it wasn't a engagment ring. Joe walked in "hey Viper." his timing was perfect, he payed for the stuff then disapered. For the rest of the day he keep on doing that.
I looked at my watch, it was 5:30 and I hade the least amount of bags out of the groop, Abbey won for most (21) Jessica came in second (19) Maggie came in third (15) and I came in last (8) "well i guess we should be going." Maggie said "Yea, i agree." I chimbed in. We left the store. They dropped me off at the hotel. When i walked in Joe was watching TV "did you have fun?" he asked "yea i did thanks. Abbey took your offer to the advance, she won for most shopping bags, 21," Joe's eyes lit up "wow." I went into the room and got into my PJ's I didn't feel like whereing the one's I got today so i just put on a tank top, and a pair of cotton short, shorts. Joe walked in I walked up to him and hugged him, he started to kiss me again, I didn't even relize that we where on his bed, normaly i would say no but i was in a good mood so i just went with the flow.

The next day (we skipped the love scene, let's just say we made it to second base.) I looked at my phone. 8:50 AM. She'd be up soon. Last night, was one of the best nights of my life. We were so busy we didn't even eat dinner I was feeling the effect of it now. I was hungry. I was half tempted to throw my pillow to the other side of the room to wake her up so she could make me breakfast..........(what, guys judge girls based on their cooking ability).............But I decided we'd eat out instead. Then I noticed that carson sent me a text on his phone. No One had gotten him. He'd gone to far. And I would make him pay. When you messed with my allies. The subject line said, "If you're reading this I'm dead" But I couldn't cry now. i had no time to look and it was time for Vacation to end. we had to find Vince. He was the only one powerful enough to defeat NO ONE. And we had to use him as our weapon. I was just hoping I could get him to listen. Then there was a knock at the door and someone yelled, "room service" from the other side. I didn't want to wake Viper cauuse it was probably a mistake. But I grabbed my M1911. "We didn't order any," I said through the door. "It's for the lady." I heard a click from the other side of the door. He had a gun. I took a couple steps back and pointed my gun toward the door. I pulled off 3 shots. I heard him groan and then opened the door. Sat up fast behind me. I heard her gasp as the man lept up with his arm bleeding. That's where I hit him. He pulled a knife out. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. the boss just wants the lady. He gave pecific instructions that he wanted both of you alive. So you come or I can start cutting." He said. boss. I thought. At first I suspected Dracia, but then..........Not so much.......why would she wnt Viper, me I understood, but not Viper. No it wasn't Dracia so it could only be two people. Vince or No One, and No One doesn't know we are after him. So it's Vince. "You want the lady, you're gonna haveta kill me to get to her. I said pointing my gun. He moved like lightning. I was not surprised. Vince more than likely drugged him with something to give him faster reflexes.......He cut me across my arm. one long stripe. "Are you sure you don't want to let me through?" He asked. I shook my head. "I don't want to kill you but you leave me no choice." I said. I reaimed my gun. But he began to move again. Then I heard a shot. It wasn't mine. It hit him perfectly between the eyes......It was viper from behind me. I grabbed my arm and turned around dropping my gun. "nice shootin..." I said shooting her a smile... she set her M1911 down and walked over toward me.

"Thanks, I never miss twice," I said, I looked at his cut, I got a few things and then i fixed the cut. Joe got up and I walked back to the room. I turned on my laptop "So who do you think that assassin worked for?" I asked him "I think it was Vince, No way it could be Dracia, and i'm not shure it was NO ONE." I looked at my emails. there was one from Carson but I just skipped it. I turned off the laptop and took a shower, Then i got dressed. I walked out and gave Joe a quick kiss on the cheek. I whispered something to him "to get one thing straight.... Last night.. was the best night ever.... and I'm hungry," Joe laughed "Same here, and don't worrie were goint to go out and get something to eat," We walked out of the hotel. We drove to a diner, Joe and i were starving. Joe hade 10 pancakes, 3 sausage's, 4 french toast, and 7 piece's of bacon. I hade 6 pancakes, 2 sausage's 1 french toast, and 4 piece's of bacon. "wow, you must be really hungry. thats the most i've ever scene you eat," Joe said "we skipped dinner last night so... of course i'm hungry..." We continued to eat. then i finaly speaked up "So, what are we going to do about Vince? I mean he sent someone after me thats bad.... and when are we going to see this NO ONE?" I asked him.

I need help. Do you know The Nothing? I discovered the location of one hideout, but there are to many guards. And I don´t have sword acid anymore. I would like you and your group go to Sidney. I will find you at the museum. It´s close to the base.
