Why aren't my posts showing up right away?
Moderators review each and every message to make sure the rules of the board are being followed. You can see those rules above the box that appears each time you post something. They are approved in the order they were posted. We try to approve all posts within 24 hours. The rules are: No last name, schools or cities (first names and states are ok) Age/grade is ok but no birthdays No being mean, rude or cursing No posting your email address, links to other websites, or your usernames for other websites No attachments or pictures allowed (unless, of course, it's a 39 Clues signature graphic)
Why isn't my post appearing on the front page? Can you put it there? Posts are released as we moderate them. We often approve batches of posts at a time, and unless we make a sticky thread, we have no control over which page a topic appears on.
Can you make my post a sticky thread??? Sorry -- we wish we could do this with so many great threads, but we would have PAGES of them. We use sticky threads for über important info from authors and Cahills etc.
My post doesn't explicitly break any of those rules...why was it edited or deleted? We reserve the right to edit and delete your posts. We may do this if we think you're sharing too much personal information, being inappropriate or or if the subject is not appropriate for the 39 Clues board. Some topics that are not appropriate are religion and politics and your personal love lives. We are here to protect your privacy. You should never share your name, number, location etc with strangers ob the Internet. There is SO much to discuss about the world of the 39 Clues and that's really what we're here for.
What is this "Report Post" button? Use this to let the moderators know if any rules are broken in a post that may have slipped by us -- it can happen!
Can I post in another language? No. Please stick to English. A moderator might know another language but we can't count on that, or Google translator. And we need to be able to read each message.
I posted a message with a code in it. Why isn't it showing up? Moderators have to crack your codes before we approve the message. To make this process faster, make a note to us in your post with the key or the answers. We’ll delete that info before we publish the post.

Mods, I want to ask. Sometimes I post 10 posts over two days, and the Board is Updated 5 times. Only one post comes up per update. But after 5 updates, two more days, those 5 other posts have gone through, but I have posted 10 more. This continues on and on. You do the math.
I know you are probably gonna tell me 'It takes a long time to Moderate a post', but sometimes these posts are posted within 5 minutes of each other.
Is it some sort of new rule, or protocol or something?

TigerRuby16 When you are in the Message Board looking at all the urgent threads, look above them and you will see a tab that says "New Topic". Click on "New Topic" and you can write a new thread. I hope this helps you.

Hi,Mods! I wanted to apologize. so, i have a question, can you post in another language if you also write
a translation? i was just wondering cause i might wan't to use another language
in one of my stories but, since the people here speak mostly english (including myself)
would, of course, have the people in the story translate it. thanks again!
