Ok so, I wrote this alternative prequel to the 39 Clues series which happens a few months before the Clue Hunt (4 or 5 months before). Instead of having Amy and Dan living with Aunt Beatrice, I decided to add some more excitement into their lives. It might not be too good (and please forgive me for any gramatical/spelling mistakes I make, English isn't even my first language) but I hope you enjoy it! I'll post Chapter One for now, and if you guys want me to I'll post the next chapters. Chapter 2 is from Amy's point of view, Chapter 3 from Dan's point of view, Chapter 4 from Amy's point of view and so on. I'll include all other 39 Clues Teams later probably in Chapter 5, which will take place after the Clue Hunt. Thanks and I hope you like it!

CHAPTER ONE

“Rise and shine sleepyhead,” Arthur Cahill said as he shook his only son, Dan, awake. Dan rolled over sleepily and buried his head in his pillow without even bothering to acknowledge his father. “Come on, you know we have a plane to catch there’s no time to lose,” Arthur insisted firmly.  After a few moments, though still not fully awake, Dan managed to get out of bed with a groan.

“Why do you always book the earliest flights?” he complained.

“Well let’s see um… they’re cheaper for one. And it’s easier to leave the house with these big suitcases without arousing suspicions at 4:00AM than in plain daylight. The neighbors will never have the chance to ask where we’re going.”

“Couldn’t we just say we’re going on holidays?”

“And never come back? I don’t think so. We’ll just leave them wondering why we mysteriously disappeared for a few days and after a while they won’t even remember we were ever here.”

“Ugh, why can’t we ever settle down somewhere for more than two months?” Dan grumbled annoyed.

“You know why,” Arthur replied with a serious yet sympathetic look at his son. Dan did know, but that didn’t take away the fact he was tired of always jumping from one country to another without ever getting a chance to have a stable life. For as long as he could remember, he and his father had been traveling all over the world to locations as remote as Indonesia or Turkey. They never stayed anywhere for more than a couple of months –three or four at most- before another threat aroused. The story had been explained to him over and over again, but Dan always had more questions, more doubts. His endless curiosity was never satisfied with his father’s vague answers, but he had come to learn it was of no use to keep asking.

Arthur had been part of some secret society, the Vespers he called them, but had left after he began to realize some of the things his fellow companions were up to and to understand the Vesper philosophy. For some reason he hadn’t agreed with the Vesper’s ways so he had walked out; and it had cost him dearly. The Vespers had considered him a traitor and had made it their goal to eliminate him, therefore avoiding any of the information Arthur possessed about them to leak out to enemies, and of course taking their sweet vengeance on him while they were at it. Killing two birds with one stone. What these people had been doing that had appalled his father so much, what information he possessed or what enemies he was supposedly going to tell this information to, Dan had no idea. He had often speculated, his imagination running wild causing him to believe his father was a CIA super spy one day and a member of some extremist terrorist group the next. But what he never got were real answers. He just knew they had to keep moving, keep traveling from one continent to the next so that the Vespers wouldn’t find them.  Switching locations as soon as his father gained the slightest bit of evidence Vespers were in the city. Buying decoy plane tickets and flying to several different countries before reaching their final destination in order to make them harder to trace. It was an international manhunt and Dan had been caught in the middle of it.

Sure, it was cool to get to see so much of the world and meet so many people, but it was also hard to leave a place every time he had finally settled in and made friends. He was always the new kid in school, always struggling to remember everyone’s names, where the bathroom was or his new locker combination; in those schools that even had lockers. After a while, all the different languages started to mix up in his head and he couldn’t tell Greek apart from Portuguese. It was frustrating to spend Christmas day sleeping on the floor of some airport because their flight had been cancelled due to a snow storm. It was annoying to not be able to buy all the cool stuff he wanted because all his belongings had to fit in a single suitcase he would be able to carry around. And most of all it was depressing he didn’t have a proper place to call home.

“Yeah, I know,” Dan said quietly, and made his way to the bathroom.

An hour later they were standing in Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport, Brasilia’s main airport. They had already checked in their suitcases and found their gate, but their flight was not scheduled to leave for another hour.

“Dad can I just go to that candy store over there? I’m bored. And hungry.”

“Sure go ahead but don’t take too long and be careful,” Arthur replied, and then added with a smile “oh and remember to buy your nice daddy some goodies while you’re there.”
His son gave him a double thumbs up and ran off. Arthur sighed and decided now would be a good time to send his wife, Hope, a message. He took out his cell phone and wrote a brief explanation:

Might not be able to contact you for a couple of days. We’re on the move again but everything’s going fine. We’ll call you when we reach our next destination. Say hi to Amy and your mother from me. AJT.

He knew Hope would understand. After seven years she had gotten used to the idea that her husband was running around the world with her barely eleven-year-old son. He doubted Dan would even remember what his mother and sister looked like hadn’t they insisted on keeping in touch via Skype. Of course they could never tell Amy and Hope where they were, it would just put them in unnecessary danger and if Vespers intercepted the communication… well, moving day for him and Dan would come much faster than it usually did too.

When their house had been burnt down in a deliberately set fire all those years ago, Arthur hadn’t been sure what to think. Had it been the other Cahills –including Isabel Kabra, Eisenhower Holt and Alistair Oh- who had earlier payed them a not-so-friendly visit and left furiously after he and Hope had refused to give them the document they were so desperately looking for? Or had it been the Vespers that had finally tracked him down? He had been lost in a sea of endless fears and suspicions and what was worse – he had though Amy and Hope had died in the fire. So he had done the only thing he could think of: he had taken the only piece of family he had left, his four- year-old son Dan, and fled the country. He couldn’t allow the Vespers to find him again or to hurt or kill Dan like they had his daughter and wife. He had put his grief, rage and thirst for vengeance aside to concentrate on keeping Dan and himself safe and alive. And the best way to do that was to hide. That had been the start of their travels, their constant moving and running. After about a year, he had found out Hope and Amy were alive when he had come across an article his wife-a passionate archaeologist- had recently written about some excavation taking place in Mexico. Desperate to believe it was true, he had gotten in contact with Hope immediately to find out to his great joy that both she and Amy had escaped the fire and were now living at Hope’s mother Grace’s mansion in Attleboro. They too, had believed he and Dan had died in the fire and were shocked to find out they were very much alive.

By then it had been too late to go home. Returning to Massachusetts would make it entirely too easy for the Vespers to get to him and his family once more.  And it would endanger Hope and Amy. The problem was, he couldn’t send Dan home with his mother and sister either, because the Vespers were well aware he had survived the fire and would just as happily take him and torture him to punish Arthur, or else uses him as bait to lure him to them.  He really felt sorry he had dragged Dan into all of this, but it had been his only choice at the moment. He hated seeing his son’s disappointed face whenever he came home from school to find his father packing, ready to move again. He knew a kid needed a stable environment to grow up in, and that it was always hard for him to keep up with everything going on at school when he arrived in the middle of the semester out of the blue. But Arthur’s main priority was to keep him safe - no matter what.

A stash of candy was suddenly dropped into his lap and he looked up to see Dan grinning and holding up an odd looking lollipop.

“Can you believe this? A parrot shaped lollipop! And guess what the stick is made of? Well it’s not a stick at all! It’s chocolate! And best of all, see all these different colors on the parrot? Well the guy at the counter told me each of them has a different flavor. The pink is strawberry, blue is cotton candy and yellow is vanilla. Isn’t it epic?” he said this so fast and in such a high-pitched voice Arthur suspected he had probably already eaten a whole bunch of candy while in the store and given himself a sugar rush.

“Sure, it sounds… delicious. Actually I wouldn’t say that, it’s more like…uh… exotic! That’s the word,” Arthur replied.

“Yeah well, call it whatever you want, it’s still awesome. Where are we going again?” Dan asked.

“We’re flying to Egypt first, then we’re moving on to Poland and we’ll land in Norway in two days time.”

“Oh. Is Norwegian sort of like Danish?” Dan inquired. “Well I don’t know how to speak either, but I think they’re alike. Yeah, they must be similar. Why? Do you miss Copenhagen that much?”

“Nah, but I hate Danish. It’s too complicated,” he responded before sitting down next to his father. “I should love it though. DAN-ish, people in Denmark must really love me to name their official language after me,” he added as an afterthought.

“Well I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it. And easy on that candy, I’m betting you already ate half the store before you were done chatting with the guy in the counter.”

“How do you always know,” Dan commented with a mischievous grin.

Arthur ruffled his son’s hair and checked the time on his watch. “Come on, let’s get in line. They’re about to start boarding.”

THANKS FOR REAADING! PLEASE COMMENT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! ALL FEEDBACK IS WELCOME!

@WolfJourney11: that must be quite some friend you have there! Hahaha making you watch it so you'd cry... poor you, you have my sympathy. I'm a sucker for sad movies, I can't help but crying. I cried watching Titanic, Hachiko, Marley and Me, Braveheart... I even cried watching Happy Feet if you can believe that (OK don't think me weird, I watched it when I was a lot younger, NOT recently LOL). I just thought the part where the penguin jumped off a cliff was sad for some reason... okay forget I ever said that.

Wow I can't believe you're writing 9 stories and a play at the same time! You must have a lot of work on your hands. I'm only writing this story and another 39 Clues story for someone's contest that I can't quite get around to writing. I'm struggling with those two and you have 9! *whistles* Impressive. My other 39 Clues story is about what if Amy hadn't gone to live with Aunt Beatrice, but instead she had gotten adopted by her grandparents on Arthur's side of the family. In the story Amy is a Vesper in the training and she is sent to get information out of Grace and Dan but then she turns to the good side before Grace dies. I just don't know what I should do to make her leave the Vespers and turn to the Cahills. I'm still working on that. So do you have any of those 9 stories or the play posted here on the message boards? I'd love to read them! Give me a link if you want me to.

By the way can I call you Briana instead of WolfJourney11? It's easier to remember and write. And it sounds cooler, Briana's a good name :)

 Here your dreams are sweet,

And tomorrow brings them true,

Here is the place where I love you.

Okay here it is... CHAPTER FIVE! This happens 1 year after the Clue Hunt, here we go:

CHAPTER FIVE
12 months after the Clue Hunt

Reagan was, as usual, running. She loved running; it gave her a wonderful feeling of speed, power and control. Only she could decide how fast she would run or for how long or even where she was going if, like today, she was running solo. There was something about the way her muscles pulled on her legs, about her accelerated heartbeat and the sweat running down her forehead that made her feel sure of herself. The sound of the dry autumn leaves crunching as she stepped on them and the chilly October air made the perfect combination. This was what she had been born to do.

Her cell phone vibrated in her pocket, interrupting her thoughts. She stopped abruptly, gasping for breath and checked caller ID: Hamilton.

“What?” she yelled into the phone.

“Reagan you gotta come home now. Where are you?” Hamilton sounded anxious, which didn’t happen very often.

“I’m running in the old trail near the park, and no I’m not coming home. I’ve only run two miles, I still have a few more to go before I’m done.”

“Forget running Reagan! You have to come home now, there’s a problem. Is Madison with you?”

“What problem?” she asked, intrigued.

“Dude, you know, Cahill stuff. You might be in danger you have to come home. Where’s Madison?”

“Uh I think she’s at soccer practice. Should I go get her?”

“Yeah, and be quick about it. I’ll see you both in half an hour at home.” Her brother hung up and Reagan pocketed her phone and turned around. She broke into a run once more, this time heading for school, where her twin sister would be found playing soccer.

Sinead could not believe her luck. She had been at the bookstore, buying some books on advanced anthropology and mechanics, when she had spotted a crowd near the back of the store. Curiosity had gotten the best of her and she had walked over, wondering what the fuss was about. Then she had seen him. It was Andrew Stevens, world famous scientist, inventor and now author of his new book (which Sinead happened to be holding in her hand) – Mechanics: An inventor’s world. This man was one of Sinead’s heroes; he was a genius with his innovative and inspiring way of thinking. She admired him, and best of all, he was an Ekat.

She walked over with a smile on her face, already imagining Ted and Ned’s jealous faces when she told them who she had met. She stood in line for a long time, but she didn’t mind the waiting, she knew it was worth it if it meant she got to talk to Stevens. Finally, her turn came and she walked up to the desk with her Mechanics: An inventor’s world copy ready to sign. Mr. Stevens was a tall, middle aged man with blue eyes and graying hair. He sat at the desk with an air of security and quiet intelligence, and greeted her with a smile when she approached.

“Morning young lady, how are you doing today” he asked politely with his deep voice.

“Oh never been better,” she replied. “I’d like to congratulate you, as I’m sure many have done before me, on your book sir. I specially admire chapter 13, those formulas and the graphic designs were just amazing.”

“Why thank you, it’s nice to see such a young soul as yourself take an interest in such matters,” he commented with a chuckle.

“Yes, it’s sad how young people nowadays have lost interest in science, all they seem to care about is television,” she said sadly.

“Why yes indeed. So tell me what’s your name, dear?”

“Sinead Starling,” she answered, and then couldn’t help adding, “I’m a descendant of Katherine too.”

Mr. Stevens, who had been halfway through signing her book, stopped dead. He looked up at her with serious eyes now, his smile gone.

“You must leave now girl, have you not heard?” his answer startled Sinead, who had expected him to be pleased to see a fellow Ekat.

“Heard what?” she asked quietly.

“Not here, come with me.” He stood up and the people in the queue behind Sinead broke out into protest.

“Mr. Stevens please five more minutes, I’ve been waiting for half an hour!” one lady complained.

“Sir, please I need you to sign this book as a gift for my uncle, it’s his birthday next week!” yelled a frustrated teenage guy.

“Please, do not worry I’ll be right back I just need a word with this young lady. You will all get your books signed calm down,” he assured the restless crowd.

Mr. Stevens led Sinead out of the store and down the street without a word. She followed him, her heart beating fast and her nerves on edge. What was wrong with the Cahills now? The hunt was over; it had been for a year. The scientist took her into a narrow alley which was dark and dirty. He turned around to face her and spoke in a hushed tone, as if fearing he would be overheard:

“Sinead, that’s the name right? All in our family are in great danger. We don’t know who it is, some rumor it might be the Madrigals despite their new acts of friendliness and their attempts to unite the branches.  I personally haven’t got a clue,” he stopped and then added, “no pun intended. The point is someone is out there to get us, haven’t you heard of the attacks in the last two days?”

“What attacks? I don’t know what you’re talking about. The clue hunt is over. There’s peace between the branches now. And I can certainly tell you whoever it is, it’s not the Madrigals. For sure.”

The man regarded her thoughtfully before continuing. “A Janus was attacked yesterday. By who? No one knows. It was that lad on television, what’s his name… Jonah Wizard! Yes, Cora Wizard’s son. At first everyone thought it might have something to do with him being the branch leader’s son, but then some reports came in telling of an attack on a low-ranking Tomas. A Tomas! Someone physically assaulted one of those bears!”

“What Tomas?” she asked fearfully.

“Uh… that knucklehead of Eisenhower Holt I believe.”

Sinead paled. Clue hunting members. Both of them. This was not a good sign.

“But are they both… all right?” she asked.

"I think neither of them was severely hurt. What does it matter anyways, the thing is they’re targeting Cahills. Whoever they are. All branches swear they haven’t sent anyone to hurt other branches’ agents. It was obviously not the Janus or the Tomas, and as Ekats we know it wasn’t us. We suspected it was the Lucians, but their stronghold in London, that fancy mansion were the branch leaders used to live, was broken into. Thankfully some guards the Kabras have hired managed to drive the intruders away, even if they didn’t get to see who they were. So who does that leave? Madrigals. Always messing with everything those bloody murderers-“

“It wasn’t the Madrigals,” Sinead interrupted.

“How would you know that?”

“I was in the clue hunt. I know the Madrigals, we’re close. And I’m completely sure it wasn’t them.”

“Who then?” Mr. Stevens asked with raised eyebrows.

“I don’t know… I thought this madness was over. The Madrigals have the clues, all thirty-nine of them so it makes no sense at all they’d attack other branches. What for? And it makes even less sense that anyone else would attack the Tomas, Janus and Lucians. If it’s the clues they’re after they’d target the Madrigals. But what worries me the most is…well, both Jonah and Eisenhower are clue hunting members. So are Ian and Natalie, who are currently the only people living in the London stronghold. Does that mean they’re targeting clue hunting members?”

“Seems like a likely possibility. But you’re forgetting something. No one outside the Cahill family knows about the clues. The attack is coming from the inside.

 Here your dreams are sweet,

And tomorrow brings them true,

Here is the place where I love you.

So, EmMazing45 :o) - It's okay that you were a Drama Queen. I understand that you're wondering why nobody was commenting, but really it's really just not getting past the moderators fast enough. Besides, you were funny! I already read your other story and poems and bucket list - I commented somewhere else. I can't believe you're going to be writing an ALTERNATIVE alternative prequel! It sounds so0o0o0o interesting, though! Amy, a Vesper in training! And, again, living apart from Dan. I can't wait to read the story to see why they were even separated. And how one is trained in the ways of the evil Vespers! I'm glad Dan won't have to live with Aunt Beatrice, though. She's a witch! I am like your sister and usually read two books at a time - sometimes even three if one is really long. (Come to think of it, maybe that's why I have memory issues with books!) I read A King's Ransom and The Hunger Games at the same time. That was HARD to do because both were so good and suspenseful! Usually one of the books I'm reading is a bit boring which is why I'm reading two at a time anyway. Even really good books can be a bit boring sometimes! I also tend to read really fast and skip over words. Usually when I read a book the second time I  take my time and soak in each and every word and really savor everything because I'm no longer in a hurry to find out what happens. I'm doing that with the Rapid Fire Series since I have about three weeks until I get CVV #3. I hope it comes (from Amazon) on a Friday so I can have all night to read it and the rest of the weekend to just sleep! Later............

@ Carla - awesome chapter 5. Please continue! what happens with the Holts? Are the twins being summoned home because Eisenhower (of all people!) was attacked? How could ANYBODY attack him! Who would even think of trying? (I hope we find out - not just that it's the Vespers, but WHO would be dumb enough to take on that assignment!)

Also, I had a really weird dream that I got a brand new car (I'm only 12, right??). I'd had it about a year and only now had to make the first payment on it for some reason. Everybody was like, "How did you get away with that?" I was like, "IDK - doesn't everybody?" I had to hide because someone was after me (reading too much 39 Clues!), so these strangers let me stay in their home and hide my car in their garage. They had a son who I fell in love with. (Gag! Puke! Gross!) I stayed with them for a long time (IDK how long). The son and I got married (I think I'm still a kid when that happens - YUCK!). The reception was in the back yard and the wind came and blew everything away and I was so sad that my red velvet wedding cake was destroyed! And then we had to escape, because the wind indicated that that whoever had been searching for me had found me. The next thing I know, I'm walking down a very sunny road (Where's my car, right?). I'm holding a bunch of wedding congratulation cards in my hands and am all ga-ga because I can't believe that I actually fell in love with a boy and he loved me back and we were married and we'd be in love for a lifetime. I never thought I'd ever marry (I'm a kid - what's the hurry?!?!?). And I'm walking down this sunny road looking at the cards, head over heels in love, waiting to be lifted into the air and taken away to safety (I fly a lot in my dreams, but this time I was waiting for someone else to make me fly) and I was wondering, "Where is my husband? Why am I all in love and married and waiting to be beamed up and ALONE?!?!?" Then I woke up, practically gagging to death! Even when I'm not in a creative mood to write, my dreams make up for it! Every time I have a whacked out dream like this one I always think, "So THIS is how people come up with their stories!!!" How do your stories come to you? Just wondering. ;o)

@BearAqua417: No I can't speak Deutch, only English, Spanish and I'm studying French (my French is horrible though). My dad can speak German! He went to boarding school in Germany when he was a kid and even though Spanish was his first language, he got so used to speaking German he thought, talked, dreamed and EVERYTHING in German. When he spoke Spanish, people thought it was his second language!

So I put your message on a translator and this came out:

You speak English Canst? Bit? Nine? Ya? You live I Canst? Please? Ya? Nine? Bit? I live aphal juice! I living orange juice! You lives eye?

Um is it code? Or are translators just horrible? LOL. Ohhhh okay, now I see your translation into English at the bottom of the message. Oops, hadn't seen that before! Answers!

Do I speak German? Nope.

A little? I know a few words (eins veins try fear fumf fif six etc. [i'm supposed to be counting from one to seven... it sounds better when I say it out loud, sorry for spelling!])

Can you love me? Sure!

A little? Yeah :)

Do you love eggs? Nooo, but I love orange juice!

I started learning English when I was 2 years old :) I've been going to english-speaking schools all my life (British schools and now I'm in an American school, but not in America, in Spain. An American school in Spain. Confusing huh?) so yeah my English is pretty decent. Thanks for your feedback on the story! Glad you liked it!

@SapphireLadybug7: Thanks for reading my stuff, yeah I think I saw your comment somewhere else but there are just so many different threads with different conversations I sort of forget what was where!

Alternative ALTERNATVE  prequel huh? Cool name... I'm not done with it yet though I'm too lazy to get stuff done, time just flies by!  Oh and yeah, someone stupid enough to take on a Holt right? I certainly wouldn't volunteer! Scary, scary scary! I think I prefer to be tortured by Vespers (okay maybe not). Glad you liked chapter 5!

I can't read so many books at the same time, I get mixed up. I only read one book at a time, and then the books we read in class but that's a completely different world in my head. School and home are two different universes. I'm not even the same person in the two of them creepily enough.

I read Rapid Fire when I was on a school trip in Holland last month. At night when we were at the hotel I'd read the books if I got bored (thankfully I brought my laptop with me). Pity they were so short though... I actually thought they were going to be full books at first, but of course that doesn't make much sense does it? They haven't even published CVV#3 yet!

I was really surprised today at school when I saw this girl in my class with a 39 Clues book! She was reading it in Spanish of course and it was only One False Note, but I had never seen anyone in Spain reading the 39 Clues! They're not very well known here, and besides kids barely read at all. Some kids only read the books we're forced to read in English and Spanish class. That's it! For the whole year! It's sad...

Your dream was sooo funny! LOL. Where's my car right? HAAHAHAHAHA! I get weird dreams too sometimes but I haven't had any specially weird ones lately. Every time I have one of those dreams I just HAVE to tell someone. I start telling my mom, my sister, my best friend whoever! I actually once dreamed (I was like 8 please take that into account) that I was a polar bear and not a human. The police found out and forced me to take off my "human costume" and underneath the costume I was a polar bear! They sent me away to live in the North Pole because I was a danger to other humans, and I had to live alone and away from my family and everyone I knew. The only thing I had to communicate with my parents was this phone-PDA radio thing, but because I didn't have thumbs I couldn't even use it!! I woke up crying :( The worst part is, about 2 years ago in English class our teacher asked us to get into pairs and tell each other about a dream we had had. I paired up with a really good friend of mine and told her about this dream because I didn't mind her knowing. Five minutes later the teacher was like "Ok, I'll choose a few people. If I choose you, you have to tell the whole class about your partner's dream" and what happened? Just my luck. My friend was chosen and she had to tell the whole class about my stupid polar bear dream. It was so embarrasing but at the same time hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing and neither could she!

Stories don't come to me when I dream. I don't know... sometimes they just come like by magic. Other times I just sit and think, think, think until something comes into my head. I think so much about the books I've read that many stories about them come up (like this one). I used to play A LOT of make-believe games with my sister when we were younger. She was always too lazy to think up a game, so I had to come up with ideas that I could turn into games we could play. I came up with the most ridiculous stories ever! From a weird kid who lived in Antartica to a magical Elfic society hidden from humans where elfs could read minds and their first language was Latin. We also played make-believe with characters from books. We would each choose a character from a book we had both read (my sister usually got all the nice pretty girls and I always had to be a guy for some reason) and we would make up situations and stories. I got so much practice making up stories for those games that now thinking of stories to write comes much easier. I LOVE making up stories to act out in my mind like a movie even if I don't write them down into actual words. I do it all the time when I'm bored at school. I'm like "Meh. I'm too bored to listen to French grammar right now. Goodbye Mr.Costemale (our French teacher) and here I go day dream world!"

Hey Briana! I read all (or most) of your posts! I commented on the Movie Blog, but I don't have time to comment on all of them because I still have a LOT of comments to answer back to here on the MB. Maybe I'll comment on the others later :) I really loved your stories they were awesome! I had actually read one of them before, the Super Bowl story, it was pretty sweet. I didn't know you were such a great author, keep writing!

Thanks for your suggestion on my Amy Vesper story, I'll probably end up doing that. I haven't thought of a title for that one yet (yeah I'm not good at them either) and "Amy the Vesper" sounds kinda lame. Hmmm I need inspiration and I need to get working on that story, it's still not even half finished! I have only one other story posted here, which I wrote for someone's writing contest. It's called In the forest of fire, here's the link: http://www.the39clues.com/messageboard/show/15748.

I like that stuff where someone who's dead is actually alive! You can see on this story huh? Arthur and Hope both. I'd like to read your Bridge to Terabithia sequel when it's done, will you post it pleaaaase???

Happy Feet IS supposed to be happy. I don't know why I got emotional. I sound pretty lame saying this... Happy Feet made me cry I can't believe it. *blushes* don't tell anyone! LOL. I LOVE Hachiko even if it made me cry!! He was soooo cute especially when he was a puppy! Did you know that it's a real story, and there's a statue of Hachiko somewhere? I think it's in Japan but I'm not sure.

Definitely keep writing! This is amazing! It's better writing and grammar than I've seen in most people whose first language is English! Totally awesome!
PS. I don't want to overwhelm you with the requests for being in the story, but it's so awesome I had to ask. Could I be in the story? Pretty please?

EM45 - not much time at this moment. I've been looking for more information to share about cards and books and theories and stuff.

That's cool you saw a girl in your class with a 39 clues book. Did you talk to her about it? I think it is sooo cool that you have your sister to talk to about so many things and you seem to get along really well, but another friend can't hurt, huh?

Your dream was really funny, too. I can't believe the whole class heard about your dream!!!!! Too funny! You can't help what you dream, though.

I daydream a lot, too. I get in trouble for it all the time. I'm told I'll grow out of it. Bummer!

@George: Yeah I talked to the girl with the 39 Clues book, she said she'd just finished reading book 1 and she was starting book 2, but that someone (her parents I think) had given her books 1-5 so she still had a lot of them left to read.

I was bored and, yes, daydreaming in Spanish class (I had already finished all my work thought) when I came up with this great theory about Gideon's ring! I thought that maybe Gideon had inherited it from his father (or someone else, some other Cahill). His father (or whoever) had told him it was very important but hadn't explained why, so Gideon kept it always with him and took great care of it. Gideon saw that there was a sort of code or message inscripted in the ring but couldn't figure out what it meant.Even if Gideon didn't know what it was, it was a special formula or secret or whatever to make the serum non-lethal (yes this part is your idea from another post) but since Gideon never got around to cracking the code, he was never able to make the serum non-lethal. Damien knew the ring was very important to Gideon (remember how when Gideon died Damien asked Olivia for the ring?) but Olivia kept it after her husband's death. The ring was passed on to Madeleine and so on. At some point during the next 500 years the Vespers finally got hold of the ring, they had been hunting for it because it had been one of Damien's goals from the start. While the ring was in their possession the Vesper's figured out the code and realized what it could be used for. They kept the ring while they waited for one of the Cahill branches to get all 39 Clues to then steal the clues from that branch. But then (also in Vesper's Rising) Grace Cahill got hold of the ring and now the Cahills have it again. The Vespers are now trying to steal it back because they know if they can get the master serum and that code, the master serum won't be lethal and they'll be all powerful!

Then later on in the day, I was sitting in French class thinking about this theory when I realized it can't be possible, it has a big fault. Why would Gideon's father have a ring with a secret on how to make the serum non-lethal if the serum hadn't even been created yet? It makes no sense. So there went my theory ugh... I was so happy about it and it got crushed. Oh well, I'll keep thinking.

@Carla - What a genius you are! How could something that existed before the serum WORK on the serum??? DUH?!?!? It has to all be tied into the stars or something. And I think Gideon knew whatever the ring could do (tho I'm not sure) and I think Olivia finally figured it out, too, but didn't have time to tell Madeleine about the ring other than to protect it. It seems that Grace figured out what the ring did, too, somehow. I think I recall her saying some sly hint to Mr. McIntyre that made me think she had an idea of what it could do. Maybe AJT lived and found out and told her?!?!?
