Story: Someone for Evan
I see tons of Amy+Ian stories. I always liked the idea, but wondered what would happan to Evan then? I decided to write this story about who Evan ends up with if Amy and Ian become a couple. Here it it is:
Someone for Evan: Part 1
Evan sat, waiting for Amy to call. Her and Dan were coming back for a month to find something in Boston for Vesper 1. He was starting to get bored. Sinead walked in.
"Have they called yet?"
"No."
They started talking. She was easy to talk to. He needed someone to talk to. He had something on his mind...
"Have you noticed anything about Ian and Amy?" He asked.
"What? No. Nothing!" She burt out. He eyed her, suspiciously. Finally, she sighed. "Well...Amy used to like Ian." She said. "That was a long time ago, though!" He frowned.
"I'm going to take a walk." He said, standing up. After leaving the room, he made a beeline for Ian's room. He left with Jonah to get some stuff. Ian was the only boy he'd known that had a diary. He opened it. He knew that he shouldn't be snooping around, but he couldn't help himself. After flipping through some pages, he realized that it was old. Evan started to close the notebook. Then he saw it. One word.
"Amy"

Someone for Evan: Part 30!!!!!
Jake stared at him for a moment.
“Well, I-I…um…” How was he supposed to tell his younger brother and his crush’s younger brother who his crush was?!
“Do you LIKE her?” Dan asked. Jake shrugged, then nodded. Dan started to laugh. “Well, this was fun. BYE!” He motioned towards the door. Atticus’s eyes were wide. He was trying not to laugh or say something. Jake glared at him. Then he started to leave the room.
“Do you really like Amy?” Atticus asked, right when Jake opened the door. Amy was staring right at him. She had been heading to Dan’s room to talk to him. Jake stared at her.
“Oh, great…” He muttered.
Jake stared at him for a moment.

Amy closed her eyes. Did that really just happan?! She opened tehm and looked at Jake. Sure, she figured that he liked her...but...but...She saw him mutter something. She stared for a moment longer.
"Dan, I'll text you." She said, then turned and walked back to her room, leaving Jake standing there.
"Sorry..." Atticus mumbled. Jake didn't notice. He walked after her.
"Amy!" She stopped and turned.
"What?" She asked. He looked at his feet. What was he going to say? He shrugged. "Then I'll see you later!" She continued to walk, closing the door behind her. It was so hard for Amy to force herself to act so normal. She was a Cahill, though. She needed to stay emotionless...or did she?
Jake heard the door close, and he walked to his own room. Once he was in there, he got out a notebook.
Amy-
I was wondering if you'd want to go to
He scribbled it out. Sure, he could ask her to go to the movies or something, but he'd already done that! He looked at the paper, thinking. Finally, he decided what to write.
Amy, you're nice, smart, brave, strong...and much more. Would you want to be more than friends?
Jake stared at it, then ripped teh page out a put it inbetween some books on his bookshelf. Maybe one day. They needed to focus on the Vespers for now.

Someone for Evan: Part 32!
Amy stared out her window. She needed something to get her mind off of stuff. She tried a book, but she had already read all of her books. Amy walked out of her room. She called to Jake, who was now downstairs.
“Jake! Can I borrow that book you were talking about?”
“The mystery? Sure!”
“Thanks!” She went into his room and took the book out of his shelf. A paper fell to the ground. She picked it up. It had “Amy” written on the top. Curious, she started to read.
‘Amy, you’re nice, smart, brave, strong…and much more. Would you want to be more than friends?’
It was Jake’s handwriting.

Amy stared at the paper in shock. She read it once more before stuffing it into her pocket. She went down stairs. Jake looked up.
"Didn't like it?" He asked.
"Um...like what?' Amy asked, confused.
"Mysteries of the Sky!" Jake said. "You said that you wanted to borrow it..."
"Oh...yeah." Amy tried to think of something. "I was going to read it, but I ended up not reading it."
"Oh." He said.
"Anyways, I'm going for a walk. Bye!" She rushed out. She walked.
"RING! RING!" Amy's phone rang. She answered it.

"Amy, guess what?" It was Sinead.
"What...?" Amy wondered what Sinead would have to say to her, that she couldn't have said when they video chatted.
"We're going to see you soon!"
"'We'? Who's 'we'? And why are you coming here?"
"We found a lead! Oh, and 'we' is Hamilton, Evan and I!" Evan. Amy nodded, even though Sinead couldn't see her.
"When will you be here?"
"Tommorrow."
"See you then!" She hung up.

Amy was shocked with Sinead's news. She got home later and Jake turned to her. He started to speak, but she cut him off. Over the past months she had changed. She was strong, not the stuttering teen.
"Jake, I found your letter." She said.
"W-what?"
"I found your letter when I tried to read the book." She said.
"What do you think?" She stood there. Evan is sweet, but Jake just seems...diferent. Jake seemed more real.
"I would LOVE that!" She said. He smiled.

Amy went downstairs. Sinead waved at her.
"Hi Amy!" Hamilton gave her a nod. She saw Evan on the other side of the room. He was with...a girl? Evan was talking to a pretty blonde-haired girl. Amy hadn't seen Evan in months.
"Hi Amy. This is my girlfriend, Susanna." The girl smiled and grabbed Amy's hand.
"You can call me Susan or Susie."Susanna said. Amy nodded and smiled.
"Hi Susan." Jake walked down the stairs. "That's my boyfriend, Jake." Jake wave. Amy walked over to him. "Come on, we were about to play games." It was a Cahill get-together.

"Okay." Jake sat down on a chair next to Amy. He looks over. Dan and Natalie are talking. Since they freed the captives, Dan and Natalie had been flirting.
"Dan! Natalie! Come on! We're about to start." They rushed over. Ian stared distainfully at Dan from across the table. an had never told anyone where he was when he disapeared and the others had long since stopped asking him. They played Apples to Apples. Peonix won.
"What now?" Nellie asked.

"Cool!" Nellie smiled. Then it went back to silence. Amy looked around. Everyone looked older. Natalie was fifteen, Pheonix was a teenager now. She, herself, was seventeen! They ended up putting on the TV, with nothing better to do.

Years later...
Susan tries not to cry as she walks. She's gripping her father's arm hard. Her white gown is beautiful, big and beaded. She see's Evan in his tux and walks up to him. They ceromony goes by quickly, untill they get to the "I do"s. They they kiss and move on to the reception. After dancing and eating, she makes her way over to Amy Cahill.
"Hi Amy!" Susan says. Amy smiles.
"Hi Susan." Amy says, fiddling with the ring on her left hand finger. It's silver with a blue diamond. Jake had preposed a few months after Evan, and both Amy and Susan had of course said 'yes'. Dan and Natalie had started dating (everyone thought that they were a perfect couple) while Ian remained single.
