The Demigod Diaries
Hey guys! So if you're a really big Percy Jackson fan, then you probably know that there's going to be a new book called the Demigod Diaries comming out August 14th. Now I can hardly wait for that, so I decided that we should make our own Demigod Diaries! All you have to do is make up your own character and write a story about your character's adventures at Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter, or even your character's own neighboorhood! You can even "Team up" with someone else, and include them into your story, and yes, if you want to, you can use characters from the Percy Jackson books (that includes the Heroes of Olympus series too). So, come on and join in on the fun! Just one thing, when you make your character, make sure to include your character's name, their godly parent, Greek or Roman, looks, personality, weapon of choice, and anything else that you might want to include. I'll make a character soon so I can be a part of it too! Oh and one other thing, Make sure that if you want to "Team up" with someone, say so! I'm also happy to team up with anyone that wants to join!

I meant the sword had jagged edged on the blade.
Jake's POV
I walked around the O of the cabins.
Turns out, it was REALLY early. Like, 3:00 am. I was thinking about what mom.... I mean Hera said. Glory for Hera... "I got it!" I told myself. I had to go on a quest. A quest was issued a few days ago. I looked at the coin. I automaticlly flipped the coin, like I've done it a gajillion times. I caught it on the GLORY TO HERA part. The coin turned into the sword that was on the coin! I stayed so still, I saw a kid from the Hermes cabin looking out and saying, "Since when did we get that statue?" I got out of my trance and focused on the sword. Fos Silver blade with some kind of gold hilt. I, once again, said automaticlly, "Mutatio!" The sword turned back into the coin. I put it into my pocket and ran towards the warehouse. I got out a magical dummy that actually has the battle reflexes of a fully trained half-blood. I flipped my coin and it turned into the sword. "Ready, set, go!" I said. The dummy raised it's wooden sword. I slashed and hacked so fast, I was like an Ares kid mixed with Hermes. I cut the dummy's head off and sand, representing blood, poured out. The head floated back on the dummy and reattached itself on the stub. "Medium," I said, grinning. The dummy suddenly slashed and hacked almost as fast as I. I dodged and dodged. "Mutatio!" I said (sigh) once again automaticlly! It turned into the coin, I flipped it and said, "Mutari!" The coin settled in my hand and turned into a gold bow and arrow with Fos Silver daggers sticking out of the bow stave and bow nock. I sidestepped a slash from the dummy. I suddenly felt different... Like I could take on the world. I flipped up and landed on the dummy's blade. "Real sword, Celestial Bronze," I said. The wooden sword turned into a Celestial Bronze sword. The dummy jerked the sword around and I fell off, landing on my feet. I flipped again. I landed on the dummy's hands. He held me with like he had superhuman strength. I said, "Helmet." and a stone helmet appeared on his head. I stuck the dagger in his eye and cut through his helmet. I pushed him down, grinning.

My character:
Name: Gemma Lewis
Age: 14
Camp and godly parent: On the street, going to Camp Jupiter; daughter of Minerva, granddaughter of Neptune.
Looks: Black hair cut at jawline; grey/hazel eyes; worn jeans; blue and white tee shirt; black leather jacket; combat boots; silver and emerald earrings.
Weapon of choice: an Imperial Gold dagger; a silver sheild with an Owl design on the front.
Past: Gemma grew up in a house with her father in North Bay, Ontario. Nobody knows much about her, and her father was a captive of the Titans in the war. Gemma is now trying to find Camp Jupiter, in the hopes that she could find some form of peace. She fought alongside the Titans to save her father, but joined the gods' side in the middle of the Battle of Mount Othrys.
Fears/Fatal Flaws: Gemma, as a daughter of Minerva, is terrified of Spiders. She also fears losing the little self-respect she has left, because she fought alongside the Titans to save her father. Gemma doesnt want anyone to know about that.
This sounds so cool!
I hope that no one can discover Gemma's secret: Gemma is a spy for the Giants, but only by her dreams, when the giant Porphyrion looks into her memories. It's not her fault.

Sorry I haven't posted in so long!!! I'll try and make this longer to make up for it.
Amoeba's POV:
I woke up on a couch. Looking around, I saw the girl from earlier. When she saw that I was awake, she walked over. "Hi," she said. "My name's Annabeth." I smiled at her, then replied, "Hi Annabeth, I'm Amoeba." She frowned. "Your name is Change?" I raised an eyebrow, before saying, "Uh, no. My name means change, but it isn't actually change. It's Amoeba." She blinked. "Oh..." I sat up. "So... Do you know who Chiron is?" Annabeth looked surprised. "How do you know him?" she asked. "I don't," came my reply. She frowned, but nodded. "I'll call him." I stood. "That won't be neccessary. I can go to wherever he is." She shook her head. "I think he would prefer it if we talked in here." By the way she spoke, I gathered that she was pretty close to him, and that he trusted her. I shrugged, then sat back down. "You go get him, then," I said. When Annabeth had gone, I pulled my bracelet from under my sleeve. I looked carefully at each of the charms. The first, a heart, was decorated with swirls... I blinked. They weren't swirls. They were letters. In Greek. I heard a noise outside. They must be back. I quickly slipped my bracelet back under my sleeve and began humming, trying to act like that was all I had been doing. The door opened, and Annabeth walked in. Behind her came a man who looked old, and wise. Then I noticed the rest of him. He had a horse body, and he was only human from the torso up. I blinked. A centaur... "You must be Chiron." He nodded. He closed the door behind him, then trotted over. "Let's get right to the point, shall we?"

Gemma's POV
I was running, once again, from the stupid monsters. Yesterday, it was the Cyclops. Two days ago, it was the Harpies. Three days ago, it was the Lastrygonians (sp?). Four days ago, it had been the Gorgons. Today, it was the damn snake women.
They hissed as they approached, their snake legs slithering over the gravel of the road. My heart beat too fast, and I could hardly breathe. There would eventually be a monster you cannot defeat, Gemma. These things might be it.
"Hello," said one of the snake women. "You really do ssseem like a ssspecial treat. What do you think, sssissster?"
The other laughed harshly. "Yesss, sssissster. You were right to choossse thisss one. She ssseemsss like sssuch an entertaining appetizer. Then we can go on to the other group coming thisss way. Now, should we attack, or wait?"
"Wait." I suggested, but they both gave me dagger eyes. I shrank back.
"Attack, wait. It doesss not matter much. We will ssstill have a deliciousss feassst." She bared her fangs in what I supposed was meant to be a smile. Not really helping my breathing.
I drew my sword, and swung it threateningly in front of them. "Take one more ssstep, and I'll dessstroy you both." I said, imitating their hissing s'. They didn't seem to like that much.
"Alright, be that way, demigod. Attack, sssissster! But leave sssome for me! I sssimply love the limbsss." She grinned evilly at me, and I realised I was making a whimpering sound.
The one snake lady lunged, a spear pointed directly at my heart. It would've turned me into the world's biggest shish kabob, but I rolled across the pavement and came up with my sword sheathed in her stomach. She hissed and dissintegrated into dust. I smiled. One down, one to go.
The other snake women snarled, and stalked towards me.
"Bravely fought, child. But very follish. Your lassst ssstand will be made here? With no one ver knowing what happened to that ssstrange girl from North Bay?" She smiled at my discomfort.
"How do you know where I'm from?" I asked quietly.
"Oh, that will remain a sssecret. Ssso will your death."
She attempted to plunge a sword into my chest, but I stepped away quickly, and jabbed her with my sword. She wailed, but stayed solid. She cut me across the arm with her sword, and pain flared up from my wrist. Blood seeped out slowly. At least it didn't seem that bad.
I was angry now. I opened my shield and slammed it in her face. Blue blood dribbled from her nose. I continued to slam the sheild in every spot possible and finally got her with my sword. She fell into a pile of wet sand, and I walked away with a ton of snake women stuck to my jeans.
At least that was one monster I could defeat. I was not going to die today.

Jake's POV
After that, 'intense' battle, I ran away.
Just like that. No one even noticed. I kept on walking when a lion walked over to me and did the weirdest thing: snuggled with me. Great lord! It said in my mind. I patted his head nervously. "Why can I hear you?" I asked.
Oh, great son of Hera! Please! Let me serve you.
"Um, ok. Did you see a group of kids?"
I see kids lots of days. What kind of kids?
"Wearing orange shirts. Do you know what a half blood is?"
Yes. I did see some.
"Where?" I asked. He whispered something to me. I nodded. I jumped on him and he sped away.

Here it is.
Tom's POV
I cast my eyes around the station, mingling with the crowd. Where were they? My dad had told me that I would know them immediately.
There! At the entrance of the station, stood three teenage girls, all wearing orange T-shirts, gasping for breath. It was clear that they had run to the station. I paused, uncertain. How had I recognized them? I decided against approaching them immediately. It might be a trap.
I followed them around the station, and tried to hear what they were saying. 'Three tickets to Maine.' I heard one of them say. I shrank back. I had the information I needed.
I waited in line, and bought a ticket myself. Then I turned to leave the queue, and saw the trio waiting for me.
They looked kinda familiar. They all wore casual clothes. The first one, who seemed to be the leader of the trio, had hazel eyes and dark brown hair. I noticed a snake ring on he finger. The second had brown hair and eyes, and the last one had long blonde hair and stormy grey eyes. I noticed that all three of them were similiarly scrutinizing me.
'Who are you?' the first girl asked. 'Why are you following us?'
I grinned. 'That's a long story.' I said.

Sorry, been a lot of place while I'm on spring break, no time to get on. But here's what I've got:
I'm pretty sure that you've already figured out I sabotaged the tires. If you haven't then, I sabotaged the tires. Yes, I did sneak out of camp, but not because I was jealous of any of the girls on the quest. Nope, I left because I was felt bored and uneasy. I didn't like safety. I didn't like not having to look over my shoulder every five seconds. I didn't like not having to fight monsters at every corner. Plus the fact that the others avoided me like the plague. I kept to myself and found myself in the attic of the big house and the woods alot. A first I just stayed in the attic and went down when Athena's cabin consular, Annabeth, found me and dragged me back down to archery or Pegasus riding or dinner. Then I found the woods and meet a nymph named Juniper. She became my best friends along with Conner. Eventually, Annabeth learned to just let me do my own thing, because I didn't fit in with the kids of Athena, I didn't have the classic blond hair of the kids. To be honest, my only resemblance to the others was my stormy gray eyes. But back to the subject, I was bored so when I over heard about the quest, I packed some clothes, stole some amobisa and necter, latched onto the bottom of the truck and got ready for the long trip. When it got too long, I sabotaged the tires and headed toward the train station.
I'm not sure what to do about the train station...
I'm pretty sure that you've already figured out I sabotaged the tires. If you haven't then, I sabotaged the tires. Yes, I did sneak out of camp, but not because I was jealous of any of the girls on the quest. Nope, I left because I was felt bored and uneasy. I didn't like safety. Sorry I haven't posted in a while (a looooong while), but I'm back. Here's my pov (I'm not sure if I already posted it)
I woke up in the infirmary. Again. I had my leg in a bandage (i had broken it, but it had been healed while i was unconscious) and a second one around my head. I wondered why I was there and then I remembered: I was stupid enough to jump out of a tree in full battle armor while holding a flag and a knife. It was a miracle I hadn't accidentally stabbed myself when I jumped. At least my team had won. I was cheered up at that thought, and stood up. The world started spinning and my head started throbbing. I must have gotten concussion or something. I sighed and sat back down on the bed, when I noticed a glass filled with nectar, the drink of the gods, sitting on my bedside table. I drank it and instantly felt better. I got up and walked out of the infirmary and to my cabin. When I entered, I was greeted by the sound of cheers. I had won for our team, and I was from their cabin, so we got special privileges. Annabeth congratulated me and asked me if I felt ok. I answered that I felt fine. "good", she said. "you got a nasty knock on the head"." ok guys, we have archery practice now, so let's go". We went through our activities as usual, and I did well in most of them, but I was to small and light to be any good at wrestling,and I had to skip climbing the rock wall because of my leg. The day was hot, and we had just finished sword practice, so my cabin hit the showers. Then we got to do what we wanted to until dinner, so i went to the forges. I fixed my armor from the game, because it had gotten all banged up when I landed on the ground after I jumped out of the tree. That meant that not only did I have to fix it, but I had to make it stronger, so it would be tougher. It took a while, so I was still working when Chiron called us in for dinner. We had pizza, and it was delicious, as usual. Then we went and roasted marshmallows and sang campfire songs led by the Apollo cabin. Afterward, I was so tired that I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. I was happy, and I wished my life could stay like this. Obviously , my luck wasn't that good. I didn't know it then, but I would be leaving very soon. But for now, I was happy. My last thought before I fell asleep was that the only thing that could make this better would be if my dad was here, but that was impossible.

Lilly-Rose's POV
Let me start off by saying that the subways in New York are not the nicest subways. Sure the Long Island subway is nice on the first level, with all its wonderful shops and smells of food, but when you get to the actual subway part, it’s really dirty. I can’t even express how dirty it is, other than the fact that I was pretty sure some giant filthy dirt monster was going to crawl out of the subway tracks, grab me, and eat me alive! Maybe I was just overreacting, but it really was that dirty. Inside the actual subway car, it wasn’t any better.
We waited with a whole bunch of passengers for our subway to come. Finally it arrived, followed by a loud screeching sound coming from the breaks. There were so many people getting on and off, it was like a blur of faces. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the subway car. Well, not lucky enough. Right as we hopped into the subway car the doors closed immediately. I felt like we were in a can of sardines in the subway car, and everyone but Tom and I got a seat. It was fine; I didn’t want to sit in the faded orange seats anyways. But since we didn’t get a seat, we had to stand and hold onto a metal pole. Tom, on the other hand, didn’t want to hold onto the pole, however when we started moving, he regretted that choice.
We were pushed backwards with full force as the subway whined to a start. I’ve ridden subways before, but it’s been a long time since I have. It was tough getting used to that start, but after a few starts and stops, I got my perfect balance back. I looked above the window to see how many stops we had before we had to transfer onto another subway. I counted at least fifteen. Then once we transferred, we were going to have to be on that subway until the last stop, and the whole cycle would start over again, and again, and again, until we got to Maine. This is going to be a long trip.
I glanced around the sea of faces. I was looking for one face in particular... Snap out of it! I told myself. There’s no possible chance that he’d be here. I knew I would never find who I was looking for, but I always seem to look for him whenever there are crowds of people.
“Lilly-Rose, are you okay?” May asked me.
I turned towards her and Art who were sitting side-by-side. “Yeah, just remembering, that’s all.” I turned back towards the crowd of people. I knew I shouldn’t look, there’s no reason too, but someone caught my eye. It was a girl, with fiery red hair and a black wolf necklace. For some reason she looked familiar, like I had seen her at camp, or school...
I lost my train of thought as the lights on the subway car started flickering. That’s usual, right? The lights in the tunnel outside of the subway were flickering too. Okay, that’s not usual. The subway came to an abrupt stop, throwing me backwards, and the lights inside the car, and the tunnel suddenly flickered out. I noticed the intercom had gone out too. Hundreds of voices of panic bounced off the walls of the subway car, and only one thought ran through my head, Oh great.
The emergency lights came on. There was a very ominous glow coming from them, creating a very eerie atmosphere. That’s when I noticed that half of the people on the subway car had disappeared. I lowered my voice. “I have a very bad feeling about this.”
And that’s when the red headed girl got up from her seat and started walking over toward us.

May’s POV
The trip was horrible. I never did like traveling underground and the light malfunction is hardly helping me at all. Many panics came from the passengers and I was one of them.
Once the emergency light came on I jumped up from my seat and got my pen ready. I had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. I looked around and found fewer passengers which aren’t normal, especially for a subway in New York.
I saw a red-headed girl with a black wolf necklace get up from her seat. She walked towards us and said, “Hey, I know you guys are on a quest.”
“Who are you?” I said. I don’t remember seeing her back at Camp Half-Blood.
“I’m Amber, Daughter of Athena.” She replied. “We don’t have that much time. Something is going to happen-”
As soon as she said that we heard something colliding against the train. We all rush to the window and see nothing.
“Ok, this is starting to get strange,” Art said. “What’s going on?”
We heard the doors of the subway being forcefully opened. What came inside was the most hideous thing I ever seen. Anyone would have mistaken it for a gigantic wrestler except that fact that it was bull. It had glowing red eyes and was carrying a humongous axe.
“What is that?” I asked.
“It’s a minotaur,” Tom replied.
“Great,” mumbled Lilly-Rose. “Any ideas on how we beat this?”
“We just fight it until it disintegrates. Finally some fun, it was so boring back at camp,” Amber said.
I uncapped my pen and it turns into an electric spear, Lilly-Rose takes out a katana, Art takes out her sword, and Amber takes out her dagger. We each took turns trying to fight the monster but that didn’t work. The remaining passengers were yelling and I have no idea what they’re seeing right now.
I found a blanket on one of the orange seats and threw it at the monster. It must have really bad eye sight because he’s trying to get it off his head. We ran a few feet away to come up with a strategy.
“Guys, how about Tom and I make sure the passengers are safe, May and Art can distract the monster and Amber can sneak up on him,” Lilly-Rose suggested.
We all agreed, so Art and I approached the Minotaur. He finally managed to take off the blanket and wasn’t happy. It groaned and started swinging the axe in the air.
“Hey, Minotaur!” I yelled hoping to get his attention. Unfortunately, it worked and he started to charge at me and Art.
The Minotaur swung his axe and we both ducked. I swung my sword at him but missed. I should’ve practiced before I left on this quest. Art managed to hit him with the sword but he didn’t disintegrate. He just stumbled backwards.
Out of nowhere Amber came from behind him and plunged the dagger into his side right under his rib cage. The Minotaur furiously roared and started to disintegrate like crumbling sand.
“Great job guys,” said Lilly-Rose. “Amber, where did you learn to fight like that? It’s like you’re used to fighting monsters. Also, how come you aren’t at camp?”
“It’s kind of a long story,” Amber said. “Let’s just say that I was so bored at Camp and decided to join you guys in this quest. Don’t worry I’ll be very helpful.”
“Fine, you could come along with us. We need as much help as we can to complete this quest,” Lily-Rose said.

Sorry I haven't been here in a LONG time. Anyways, I still don't know who the quest leader is...Should it be the oldest? (that wouldn't be me) the person who's been at camp longer? the person who knows the most?
Art's POV________________
Since May didn't want to have to travel by any underground vehicle, I suggested that we use motorcycles. "Do you even know how to drive one of those things?" May asked, a bit fearfully as if she was worried that she'd crash. "No," I said, "but I'm sure I can figure it out. I read a book on driving cars on motorcycles." "Cool," Lilly-Rose commented, "But where do we get some?" "Um....I don't know"
"I got it!" May shouted excitedly. "We can use...a pegasus! They're fast, right? Wait, never mind. I know what you're going to say: 'Where do we get a Pegasus?'...Well, I don't know." "That actually sounds like a good idea, May," Lilly-Rose complimented, "and, I might be able get a pegasus....If I pray to my dad and he listens." "Let's try it," May and I said at the same time. After Lilly-Rose was done with her silent prayer, massive, winged stallions galloped towards us. "Do those pegasi have....Built-in GPSs?" I asked. "Apparently so." Either May or Lilly-Rose replied.
After we were on our own pegasus, we programmed the GPS on Lilly-Rose's pegasus to pick up any signal of something powerful in Maine. While we were zooming at 250 MPH past Maine, the GPS beeped as it picked up a signal. "Where is the signal coming from?" I asked. Lilly-Rose read the address of where the GPS' beeping dot was and laughed. "Hey, guys, listen to this- Poseidon's Trident is in a Pitch-fork shop!" Wow, I thought....Camoflouge.
In two seconds, we were at the right shop. "Look!" I said, pointing to a blue, glimmering pitchfork on the wall. Poseidon's Trident. "Excuse me, how much is it for the triden--er, blue shiny pictchfork?" I asked the emplyee at the blond guy at the cash register.
"$2,000" he responded.
Art's POV________________

After Lilly-Rose was done with her silent prayer, massive, winged stallions galloped towards us. "Do those pegasi have....Built-in GPSs?" I asked. "Apparently so." Either May or Lilly-Rose replied.
After we were on our own pegasus, we programmed the GPS on Lilly-Rose's pegasus to pick up any signal of something powerful in Maine. While we were zooming at 250 MPH past Maine, the GPS beeped as it picked up a signal. "Where is the signal coming from?" I asked. Lilly-Rose read the address of where the GPS' beeping dot was and laughed. "Hey, guys, listen to this- Poseidon's Trident is in a Pitch-fork shop!" Wow, I thought....Camoflouge.
In two seconds, we were at the right shop. "Look!" I said, pointing to a blue, glimmering pitchfork on the wall. Poseidon's Trident. "Excuse me, how much is it for the triden--er, blue shiny pictchfork?" I asked the emplyee at the blond guy at the cash register.
"$2,000" he responded.
