Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women
Tanith's POV
I stepped through the doors of the Gallagher Academy for exceptional Young Women and hope that I don't ahve to repeat that name everytime I mention the school. I understand the image of a fancy boarding school that they have to project for the public not to get suspicious, but really? Couldn't they have come up with something with less syllables or something?
I slung my small black leather bag over my shoulder and made my way toward my dorm. I silently slid the door open and huried inside, hoping that no one could ahve seen me except maybe the woman who handed me my dorm key. I wanted a low profile everywhere, but especially here. I tended to make enemies quickly, and the last thing I needed was an enemy who has the ability to poison me, or simply attack in the dead of night. Oh, the wonderful possibilities I could've come up with.
Pulling a few spare clothes out of my bag and tossing them haphazardly into the dresser and sitting down on the bed, I really take in the dorm room. But all I can see is the security and spy-tech everywhere. Security cameras planted on the window pane. More security cameras placed outside. I would never be able to do anything in private this year, at the very least.
I knew I'd arrived a few days or so late, but I did for most schools. Why should this place be any different? Well, besides being a school for spies? I wasn't sure. I just had a ... feeling. I didn't need anyone knowing who I wa,s where I came from, why I was here, or even which dorm I was in. I wanted a low profile, and by that, I meant almost non-existent. For me, that wouldn't be hard. I blend into the backround easily.
It was almsot eerie now, since I'd arrived an hour or so after dinner. Nomral people didn't come to boarding school then.
Then again, I wasn't in the catergory of 'normal people'. More along the lines of 'weird or different people'. Or possibly crazy. I wasn't really sure. I wasn't one for labels.
That was when I heard the alarm ring out through the entire building, and I dashed outside to check out what was going on.
I saw the glimpse of a shadow a few feet away, and I dove behind a bush. Watching in mute horror as two people, a boy and girl, were taken by the newcomers. Then as they disappeared, I thought about what the school would do if they found me here.
Am I going to be sent home? Again? And not be able to help at all?
But worst of all:
Have I failed someone again?
Hope it's okay that I posted already. This is just such a cool roelplay!
