I HAVE A LEAD ON THE SECRET OF GIDEON'S RING!!!
Hi guys.
I have a real lead on Gideon's ring. When you look at the inside (on the missions screen) it has a bunch of constelltions, names and star names! And get this: ALL OF THE CONSTELLTIONS AND SEPERATE STARS WERE FOUNDED BY AN ASTRONOMER NAMED PTOLEMY!!! THIS IS NO COINCIDENCE!!! SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!! RESEARCH PTOLEMY!!! I AM DOING THAT RIGHT NOW!!! I WILL POST ALL I KNOW ABOUT HIM SOON!!! I ALSO HAVE SOME OTHER BITS AND PIECES THAT SERVE AS A CONFUSING LEAD. CONFUSING, BUT DEFINITELY A LEAD!!!! SO I WILL POST BACK SOON!

When the ring is x-rayed there are greek symbols so thet means it goes back to ancient greece. In cahills vs Vespers book 2 it says "I WILL MOVE THE EARTH." One of the Greek letters means gold. So I think the geer goes int a machine which moves the moon and uses magnetism to move the gold in the earth and moves the Earth. If it goes back to ancient greece i THINK Archimedes made it. By the way if you can find an astronomer with stan in his name you might be half way there.

Were talking about potomely (Cant spell it) maybe he was a gaurdian. PS if your saying it uses moon power it must use magnetism from the moon which means it has someting to do with magnetism. PPS People call me an ekat

If you look at the card of the armillary sphere at the middle of the sphere there is the earth but it looks like an old map. Di Virga?

If a stale orb is an astrolabe as someone said before me, then we are one step closer to seeing what the ring is about. Astrolabes are used for surveying the stars. Maybe Gideon's ring will open on a certain enlignment of the stars or planets. Then something bad will happen. I don't like the sound of a secret object that can "Move the Earth.". It just sounds suspicious. Call me chicken but I think the ring should be placed in a Top Secret labratory to be examined. Then maybe we could get a better idea of what that thing is. However, you can't trust anyone these days. The Cahill scientists supposed to protect the ring could be Vespers so I think that it is probably safest on Amy's finger right now.

Just helping, but Ptomly, (however u spell) wasn't just what u guys posted. he also worked on a much, MUCH more sacred topic. Some say thats what caused his death+Vespers using that very subject to kill him when he died. I'd help more, but don't want 2 have someone in particular see what he worked on.

I HAVE A LEAD ON THE SECRET OF GIDEON'S RING!!!
Hey I'll come back to you with some more info, but I found two things (off topic but may be helpful.) On the back of card 20 is a letter to a dude named Fidelio. The letter tells him to take down the gates that have a hint to a clue hidden inside but there is something else. It says something about a Gaurdian. The second thing is that I found something when I was rereading book 6. I won't be able to go in one the detail about this but if you look at page 153 it says that the plane belonged to a dude named Mr. Gregory Tolliver. I don't know if it has a connection with Evan or not but again you never know what's important. I usually am on Evan's side when it comes to who is Amy right for. But I will say that we better keep a close eye on him.

Let me help u guys again. Fidelio was Mr. Racco, if u read book 2. and look at the gates, a wolf and a ram. Gee, I wonder what the ram stands 4. oh wait a minute, it's a constalation found by, u know it, Ptomy. The wolf stands 4 the janus as well. And keep researching 4 the other reason ptomly died. U would never believe it.

I know who Fidelio was, and the wolf and the ram means Wolfram (Another name for Tugsten.) But what I meant about the card is that on the back it says Gaurdian with a capital G. I wasn't talking about the Clue he was hiding.

1. He died in 170 AD.
2. I read somewhere that his fortune was passed down to his younger son, rather than his first born. Interesting?

Ok I found something on Ptolemy. Very little is know on his birth or death. It is said that Ptolemy was exucuted for attracting attention at a gladiatorial show by wearing a purpurea abolla. Dio states that Gaius sent for Ptolemy, and learning of his wealth, had him killed. Ptolemy and Gaius were related. The emperor's motives have been variously interpreted by modern scholars but without complete satisfaction. The episode might yet, however, be explicable in terms of Gaius' reaction againist those individuals with strong personal or inherited military glory.

I just was writing word from word from the website I got it from. I knew that is the complete truth. I guessed that the guy who had him killed was a Vesper or someone who wanted the ring.
