Amy’s POV: It was such a beautiful autumn afternoon and Amy Cahill was gazing out of her bedroom window dreamily. The leaves of trees were drifting in the wind, making the place look like a paradise. She sat on an overstuffed sofa, too lazy to get up and scream at Dan when she found out this morning he had put frogs on her drawer. Amy almost drifted off to sleep when her phone suddenly rang.
Amy immediately sat up, startled. She scrambled up to get to her newest Prada bag, where she had stuffed on the side pocket her phone. The phone screen read: Incoming Call . . . Ian Kabra
What? What would he call about now? Amy thought, groaning. But she answered the phone anyway. “Um, hello?” she murmured.
“Hello, darling Amy. How are you doing?” Ian purred.
“J-j-just f-fine.” Amy stammered. Why does Ian always make her get her stammers back? “Would it be alright to come over to your house in, maybe, fifteen minutes?” Ian asked. “Alright!” Amy blurted out. She suddenly clamped her hand over her mouth. What have I done? she thought in horror. Well, alright, it won’t do me any harm anyway.

Hi, guys. I was about to post yesterday when . . . oh, you know, stupid brother. Ok, next part:
Amy's POV:
Before Amy opened the door, she heard Dan muttering but couldn’t make out a single word. Suddenly, his words became a little clearer.
“I’m so sorry, Amy,” he murmured to himself.
Amy opened the door and stepped in. The lights were turned off. The curtains draped the windows. The only source of light besides the opened door was Dan’s phone. Dan quickly hid the phone.
Amy decided not to ask him about it.
“Dan,” she said softly, “what’s up?”
“Leave me alone.”
“Come on now, don’t be cold.”
“I was just calling Uncle Fiske to come tomorrow, bring Mr. McIntyre and two Madrigals with him when you suddenly barged in.”
Amy could tell he was lying. But, then again, she decided not to tell him about it.
“Okay, then. But you better come down.” She opened the lights.
“It’ll be better for you to see,” she explained.
Amy closed the door. She leaned close and tried to hear something. For a few moments, she heard nothing.
Then, “Uh, Uncle Fiske?”
Five seconds of silence. “Can you please come tomorrow?”
So he is talking to Uncle Fiske, Amy thought. But then, why is it like he just talked to him now?
“Well, we’re going to start searching for Vesper files and stuff. Can you help? And can you please bring Mr. McIntyre and two more Madrigals?”
Dan paused. “Thanks, Uncle Fiske. You’re the best,” he said in a neutral tone.
Amy started to walk down the stairs and headed to the living room. She sighed. Ian had always been a problem, Amy told herself, and now Dan.
Do I have to say this again and again? I will no longer accept girls. Only boys.
Amy's POV:

Hi, people! Here is the next part. But, I'm telling y'all, it's not kinda important.
Ian’s POV:
There’s nothing worse than being disowned from a wealthy family, especially when you have lived fourteen years of luxury and comfort.
And right now, I’m sitting with Natalie in a room where there were people who never even cared for me. I should probably change my ways. Should I? How could Amy – and Dan – manage to be nice to everyone when almost everyone has tried to kill them? I should probably tell her –
The door to the living room burst open. Amy stood there, making no effort to move.
She looked at me. Her face had no single shred of emotion. There was no sadness, joy, remorse, or anger. There was . . . nothing.
I peered deeper into Amy’s green jade eyes. What had happened?
“Amy? You okay?” Nellie asked anxiously.
Amy dropped her gaze and looked at Nellie’s direction. “Yeah,” she nodded reassuringly.
“Come on, then,” Nellie told everyone. “Dinner time.”

Guys! I'm soooo sorry I haven't posted! I'm now going to continue . . . (Hey, guys. If you don't know, Mercy is a character I made. She's a Madrigal and she'll be in the Cahill Command Center.)
Mercy's POV:
I was about to drift off to sleep when Adele’s voice rang in my ears. The song ‘Rolling In The Deep’ was my favorite song at the moment and it’s also my ringtone.
I snatched my phone, which lay in the nightstand. Before I answered whoever was calling, I murmured the lyrics of the song to myself.
There’s a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch and it’s bringing me out of the dark
Finally, I can see you crystal clear
Go ahead and sell me out and I’ll lay your ship bare
See how I’ll leave with every piece of you
Don’t underestimate the things that I will do
I finally answered the phone.
Fiske’s voice deafened my ears. “Goodness gracious! Mercy!”
“It’s already late!” I wailed. “Don’t you realize it’s, like, 11:45 in here?”
“Dear young child, please.”
“Well, why did you call?”
“Amy and Dan need help.”
“To . . . what?” I asked, waiting for Fiske to fill in the blanks.
“To help stop the Vespers.”
“What?!” I screamed. “Are they crazy? I’m busy! Plus, I promised myself I’d never let Dan know I’m a Cahill, too.”
“Well, he is your classmate,” Fiske reasoned. “But he isn’t worried about school. And so what if he finds out you’re a Cahill?”
I pursed my lips. “I once slipped my tongue and told Dan some stuff only Cahills knows. Then he gets all suspicious and asks me if I’m a Cahill. I make a face and lie. I tell him that I’m never going to be his brother. I knew that he disliked lying people,” I gulped. “Oh, but anyway, I’m stronger than him, right? He can never beat me up,” I said to Fiske.
“Well, I admit you are good in martial arts –“
“I forgot! My parents grounded me and I can’t get out of the house unless I’m going to school!” I wailed.
“Not to worry. It’s already taken care of. We talked to your parents already.”
“Okay, then –“
“Wait! Before I forget, a Madrigal named Josh will meet you at the nearest café by your house. By 10 o’ clock, he expects you to be there.”
“Okay, then,” I said again. “Bye.” With a click, I put back the phone on the nightstand and I lay down on my bed.
The Vespers. The merest thought of this organization sent a chill in my spine. But we Cahills must be brave enough to face them. But how? And how can I sleep? Especially when Fiske reminded me about the Vespers? I don’t know.
I shivered, imagining some evil, suspicious lurking shadow right in my neighbourhood, planning to kidnap me or something. I tried to think of some other stuff. I grabbed a random thick book under my bed and started reading.
Soon enough, I fell asleep.
Hey. I know, I know. I didn't have lots of time to think of a name so I thought Josh. So, yeah.

The Vespers. The merest thought of this organization sent a chill in my spine. But we Cahills must be brave enough to face them. But how? And how can I sleep? Especially when Fiske reminded me about the Vespers? I don’t know.
I shivered, imagining some evil, suspicious lurking shadow right in my neighbourhood, planning to kidnap me or something. I tried to think of some other stuff. I grabbed a random thick book under my bed and started reading.
Soon enough, I fell asleep.
Hey. I know, I know. I didn't have lots of time to think of a name so I thought Josh. So, yeah.
