How to buy The 39 Clues: Rapid Fire

We've been getting a lot of questions about how to get the Rapid Fire stories. The Rapid Fire stories can be read on any computer, smartphone, iOS device, and most e-readers. Methods for purchasing the stories are broken down by device below. Please note: Availability of these stories may vary based on your location.

Here is how you and your parents can get Rapid Fire. The sites and stores referred to below have their own terms and conditions and privacy policies; we encourage you to read them. Some of these sites and stores are not intended for use by minors or children under the age of 13.

Desktop or laptop

1. Purchase Rapid Fire stories via the online bookstore of your choice, for example: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, ReaderStore (Sony), or Google Books. Stories are not available in iBooks. You can preorder books from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
2. Download the app associated with the bookstore. For example Kindle for Amazon, Nook for Barnes & Noble, Kobo Desktop App, (Sony) Reader for PC/Mac, or Google eBooks for the Web.
3. Open the app on your desktop and follow in-app instructions for receiving and reading files.

Smartphone (Windows, Android)

1. Purchase Rapid Fire stories via the online bookstore of your choice, for example: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, ReaderStore (Sony), Google. Stories are not available in iBooks. You can preorder books from either Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
2. Download the app associated with the bookstore from either Android or Windows App Store. For example Kindle for Amazon (All platforms), Nook for Barnes & Noble (Not available for Windows Phones), Kobo Reader, (Sony) Reader (Android only), or Google eBooks (Android only).
3. Open the app on your phone and follow in-app instructions for receiving and reading files.

iOS Device (iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch)
